So what are all those trades on YoBit if they don't allow LCC deposits?  People had LTC on Yobit and so they got their LCC on there. Thus, they can trade. If you like conspiracy theories, Yobit themselves could have used "their" LTC->LCC to also trade. And they could very well have deposits working for themselves, devs etc and so are able to trade. We'll never know. If they used other people's LTC to get LCC that would probably be theft. But then again is it possible to prove that? I guess not right? |

So bad no big exchanges are willing to support LCC. I really would like it to happen. Correctness would require that. I hope someone will take care of this situation.
Problem is that there are so many forks from so many coins that exchanges get tired to deal with all the fork implementation and coin distribution. The only way to get on big exchanges is paying the astronomical fees I guess. |

You really can not force the team to try and succeed, but you can try to control the funds. Well it's not about VRT.
How can you as an investor control the funds? If the dev team doesn't agree to payments upon achieving milestones, what else can you do to have control over the funds? I think he means the option when funding goes through an intermediary fund. Many projects are developing this topic now, but I have not yet heard about concrete practice. Sure and so far some projects use manual escrow for that but you are right that there is something under development that works on the basis of smart contracts. It would be great to have it in place for all projects as a standard as it would also foster productivity in development as there incentive situation would be much better. |

Who is going to be the arbitrator if there is a dispute between a merchant and a customer? Is it similar to Paypal that you are making the final decision or are you going to mostly solve that via smart contracts?
It will be similar to Paypal, in that we would expect both parties to present evidence. Also, just as Paypal, if the seller follows our guidelines when completing a shipment, we may decided to honor both parties and fund the loss from liquidity pool. However, we will use a set of algorithms to track the history of behaviour of both; buyer and seller, to judge future resolutions. You should be very careful with assuming the role of being a judge. I have heard that there are rulings from authorities that Paypal has no right to make a final decision because they are not a court. And to me it makes a lot of sense. Imagine you get scammed and Paypal decides against you. Would you accept that decision or go to a real court?  |

Another freelancing platform There is a good number of freelance platforms now. Will be interesting to see which ones will ultimately make it and reach critical mass. However this is not the most important part, the most important part is if the community would actually read the 45 pages whitepaper and engage with the idea. so when is Cryptopia?
Yep, getting to be an old story and look at all the bad news out there for cryptopia. They are terrible at managing wallets or any kind of technical changes required. I've used Cryptopia and probably would again but it is a risk and lately seems like more of a risk or just as much as a risk as much smaller exchanges. I would say Polis needs a top 20 (preferably top 10) to be considered with other leading coins. Not sure if it is still the case but they also had outrageously high withdrawal fees on BTC withdrawals. They even had it when the whole network calmed down and it was not necessary anymore to charge a bit more. |

Often, investors dictate their terms and partly justified actions. In many projects on this ground there is a misunderstanding and thus hinders progress in the project.
I'm not really sure that investors can sufficiently control the development of the project. A lot can stay inside the team. What was the main reason for creating another thread? Old should be ignored, right? Regarding business, ICH is a coin with features already seen, however the form they will work may differ from the others, the application of twitter bounty is no more problematic than signature bounty, since countless users can use many accounts, the Protocol ZeroCoin is definitely a strong trend.
