Exchanges are hard to build a trust with.  Up until February, I never used them.  Today I only trust Poloniex & Mintpal and would not use any others out there....not even Craptsy.  Even with that trust I (and anyone else that uses them), you have to use them at your own risk and know that if you keep money there, or send BTC to them, there's always a change that something could go wrong.  It's a high stakes game and there are a lot of assholes out there.  Even Poloniex had their issues a couple months back when someone exploited an issue with their server and walked away with a large amount of BTC.  BUT.....Busoni showed that he's a class act guy, and repaid (or is in the process of repaying) all those that lost money, and has since added a security team.  What other exchange would have done that?  NONE!  Thats how he gained my trust.

Moral....even if you see another exchange out there listed, don't use them until you do your research, or trade in small increments/values first.  Even with these precautions, I would have a hard time trusting any exchange that most people don't use.  FTW.

LOL.....exactly!  Even though volume can be low over there, Poloniex is my favorite of all the exchanges. 

I'm not a pumper in the troll box (though I do visit it), and rarely do I listen to most of the pumps in that box.  However I saw a lot of potential in this coin and decided to go for it at my risk.  It has a lot of decent things going for it, with a very hungry crowd (all except the haters that missed out....sorry, you had your chance).  I've been burned by 75% of the coins I've tried investing in.  I ended up selling off close to 500 DRK to invest in XBC and something else, thinking that if it panned out, I could sell off some and buy back into my long term investments.  Glad I did.  

Destroy most of them.  Keep some ~7000 for promotional giveaways and building infrastructure.  NUFF SAID.

XBC is doing well! 

I'm sure "they" will try to pump it to that level in May.  If it survives that, then it will be around for the long haul.

Serious is well deserving of the donation.  Absolutely cool with it.

AGREED!  XBC....you've got a hell of a team here working with you.  Stay active and true to your word (as you've done so far), and this coin will be something special.  Pretty darn excited at this prospect.  Moreso then I've been in a long time.

I can't believe how fast it went today!  So pissed I couldn't get more.  I've been at work all day, so I wasn't able to transfer anything onto the Exchange.  Oh well.....guess I'll have to buy at a markup .

Hey man, saw you in the poloniex trollbox yesterday

Currently there are 50,000 XBC available on the market.  There are another 47,499.99 that are currently being held in cold storage.  There is a vote on-going on what to do with these remaining coins.  Seems that the general concensus is to destroy most of the remaining coins, but leave some (up to 10%) for promotional purposes and building infrastructure.  So it is VERY Scarce.

If you hold at least 1%+ of the total coins in circulation, you can become a committee member and have a huge voting right on the development of this coin.  So this coin is very community based and has the interest of it's investors as the core.

It will have a 10% stake (POS).

Much faster transaction times compared to BTC (1 minute vs. 30+ minutes).

That would be awesome if you could set up the social media sites.  If you do get it done, please post the links into this thread (and obviously those should be updated into the first post by XBCplus).  I don't do all the social media sites, but I'd at least join the reddit sub and the facebook ones.

Also I'm on board with Mintpal first as our priority exchange. 

And finally, a huge fan of the multipool idea.  It's a great way to keep our coin stabilized.  If I had the capability to mine, I'd do it.  Unfortunately the only thing I use is a laptop.

The difference here......there aren't enough coins for them to successfully kill off this coin.  At least I hope!

I kind of disagree with the "GIVE AWAY" statement.  If the vote to destroy the extra coins is accepted, that leaves very few coins on the market.  For those that didn't get into the IPO, if we do giveaways of 0.1 (or 0.15, 0.2, 0.25), it helps get more people involved/interested.  Maybe there are crypto traders out there that don't use the exchanges at all?  Maybe a giveaway like this will push them to exchanges to try and acquire more?  I know I did a lot of trading and buying of cryptos off exchanges until I found the 1 coin that I really wanted to go after.  It pushed me towards the exchanges so I could pick them up at a better price and more frequently.  Now that's the only way I trade.
