It will be KTK that's available now, unless you wanted me to hold it until the swap. Either option would be available, only receiving it now allows to stake and mint more coins.
The nodes will be finished today updating to the latest blockchain, so that should help further with syncing, hopefully!
I'll offer up to 200K, and can anyone remember the price before on bittrex?
I want to give anyone who buys as much value to see a positive return.

I was thinking about that, because of the cost to get it on an exchange and swap service. I'm going to release the windows wallet in the next few days. Right now the new blockchain is live and staking on the dev fund. So giving out the new wallet allows everyone to at least take a look and sync ready for when the swap occurs. Would anyone want to buy some of my own KTK? and any funds raised will go towards the cost of exchange listing and running nodes etc. Basically instead of raising a community fund, those that buy are receiving something in return and can swap onto the new blockchain. Once it's on an exchange, we can use the dev fund for future updates. Excluding the fork of OpenBazaar because that's taken care of. Thats great news! Looking forward to the new PHR regime. Do we need to raise any community fund to take the development forward?
===== And just to make everyone aware, my username has been changed!

So the new wallet will be made available very soon. The 18M to cover the swap has now been mined.
I've reached out to a couple of exchanges so far, waiting for replies. I tried to signup to NovaExchange to ask them about their swap service but they are not allowing new registration at the moment! think it will be re-enabled this week sometime.
And just to add to the previous details I posted about the block reward...
7 PHR Masternode 60% (4.2 PHR) 3/5 of 7 Stakers 40% (2.8 PHR) 2/5 of 7

Good to see another person holding! No block explorer at the moment, if we need one setup at the time of the swap I'll get one up. Current block is around 1608703. I'm holding too all KTK and haven't sold a single.Glad to see it re-bouncing back. BTW Is there a block explorer? I want to know the latest block.
Yes, but no response to wallet offline. Plan is to get another exchange that also has a swap service. Is yobit the only exchange?
I'll update 2 of the nodes with the latest blockchain, see if that helps. Post back once done. When there are more connections it does help, but that's not all the time. Sorry for the frustration bud. I just opened my wallet to update blockchain again and can't seem to get past block 1595000... cant wait till we get a new wallet, this is pretty frustrating

Right, with the new wallet you must keep it open to stake. No more open once a month and minting a load of coins and closing it again. Those that keep it open and help secure the network get the rewards, how it should be! The option for Raspberry Pi will be made available, yes. Would be nice to have ROKOS, already looked at the option here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1084908.0Excellent, thank you for the answers!
So if there is no coinage, 24/7 staking actually makes sense, right? And obviously you also want to run masternodes 24/7 as well. Do we have a wallet version that runs on Debian and could be used on a Raspberry Pi? Or any plans to get this added to RokOS Flavors?

Yes, new update is PoS 3.0, and we will no longer have coinage. We still have coin control. Here's the whitepapers for further details on PoS 3.0... http://blackcoin.co/blackcoin-pos-protocol-v2-whitepaper.pdfhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/jojqo5rmaxy45ex/Blackcoin%20POS%203.pdfYes, you will be able to run multiple masternodes and use tor. Although with tor not directly through the wallet. Interesting. I think you mentioned that the relaunch will also change the way POS works so that manually combining coins won't be necessary anymore?
And will it be possible to run multiple masternodes with multiple TOR addresses or something like that?
Lastly, will POS staking still rely on min and max coin age?
Thanks!
No limit on the amount or how many one person can run. Only limited by the available supply, whatever that is after the swap! Looking good. Is there any limit on the number of masternodes PHR can have?

Yeah agree, not many at all. I'd bet less than 50 out of the original 500 airdrop participants are still hodling
===== Just a few little details about the new specs: - Increasing the block time, from 30 to 60 seconds - Block reward 3/5 to masternode and 2/5 to staking wallet - Unique IP required per masternode - Ticker PHR

I do still have the list. I recall a lot was sold the instant an exchange was available. But it's an option to keep in mind! Anyone remember 'shareXcoin' turned out to be a scam exchange. That was the first to list and a lot of them dumped. As the original airdrop was 30,000 I believe 10,000 is fine. I reckon most people who joined the airdrop will have 10,000 left.
The question is, how many of those people are still active and will hear about the swap. Do the original distribution logs still exist? Is it possible to PM every airdrop participant on BCT in the hope of reactivating some?

|
|
Yeah, that's what we're going with. Not going to change it now! 10,000 for the node is just fine

Seeing as Bittrex was the largest exchange trading KTK. And by the looks of it they don't keep any backups! I hope the swap amount is higher than you're thinking, the masternode coin requirement will be 10,000. As I was reckoning at least 90% would be swapped. If it was anywhere near the numbers you think, 10K is a high requirement! I'd be willing to bet a lot of them didn't get withdrawn and are lost for good... as well as many KTK holders will end up missing the swap entirely... I bet after its all said and done we'll have around half the current circulation
|
|
|
Thanks will do! Sounds great! Let me know if you need a hand with anything.
Currently there are 18,100,339 coins. Will be interesting to see how many are actually swapped. I hope the coins that were on the exchanges, had been withdrawn. If not maybe they kept the wallet file and can help retrieve them for people. Same goes for Yobit, try to help anyone who has coins stuck on there. Excellent, looking forward to the rebrand and relaunch!
BTW, do we have a rough idea how many coins are currently in circulation?

Okay the rebrand has been decided, and going with the green! More news very soon!

Thanks bud for recommending using the same color, a nod to KryptKoin! This one is my favorite. Looks great!
Yes... Phore (domain phore.io) 'bearer of a specified thing'

Looks like we're going for the rebrand, I'll post later today with a few logos to pick the best one. ===== You're right the rebrand won't have any meaningful impact. It's more to give it a fresh look with the new wallet release. First thing we need to get the wallet up to scratch, so PoS 3.0 meaning those who open their wallet all the time get the most rewarded. No more coin age, so puts a stop to only opening every now and then, receiving the same reward as those who open their wallet all the time helping secure the network. And masternodes for anon and instant send transactions. A 10K requirement, with a higher reward due to the extra cost/work to run one. Once we have the new blockchain running smoothly, then fork OpenBazaar and specifically 2.0. After the update allows us to look at adding a lot more wallet improvements and features. I am happy with the rebrand too. However the success of the coin will depend on the feature set we are planning to roll out I believe. Rebranding wont have a big impact, if we are not there with a killer feature set.
Good to see you back dev, all the best.

Thanks bud, not 100% but getting there! And good to have you and everyone else back here

So now 5 for the rebrand Also just noticed someone connected to the network and starting to download the blockchain from scratch! If you're reading this, that will take you a looooong time. Please download the blockchain file will save you a lot of time and frustration: https://www.dropbox.com/s/th064e09eaxtr7c/KryptKoin_bc.zip
