Also, for the bounties I thought about the following scheme:
Idea: There is a deposit with the job of which a fixed ratio of 60% goes to Proof-of-Works and 40% go to solution bounties. The job is finished when it runs out of money, so if the proof-of-works have collected all of the 60% deposit.
Problem: Not all solutions bounties are necessarily collected before the 60% Proof-of-Work deposit is spent entirely. In this case the remainder of the 40% bounty would be just refunded. Users might be discouraged to look for real solutions at all, if they suspect that bounties are very hard to find (maybe they have some heuristic to estimate this based on the statistics only). This could be possible with a variant of the FAA attack described in the paper. Working on the function and never intending to submit any useful solution cannot be in the interest of the job author, so we have to save him from that.
Solution?: What if we force that the 40% have to be paid out. Let us say, solution submissions are first collected and they are at first in a "pending state". Then either when the Proof-of-Work money is paid out entirely and so the job is finished or the job is simply cancelled, the bounty (the 40% of the deposit) gets shared among all solution submissions. In the case of a cancellation, maybe only a portion of it.
This way we could enforce that the author of such job pays special attention to the design of his "useful solution space" (means, he makes sure that bounties actually can be found easily enough, otherwise he pays 40% for too few solutions) and meanwhile others (the workers) are fully encouraged to go for the bounties (instead only for the steady PoW payments).
Could this be a scheme that is superior to a fixed bounty per solution no matter how hard it was to get it?
Easiest and fairest is a fixed cost per job, paid entirely upfront but should prob be released as the job progresses. Work on the variable rate and or auction systems later on after ironing out the initial batch of defects you will uncover when people start using the software. Just an opinion. BTW, awesome work on this UI. I really like it

How much total supply?
12,500,000 But right now only 18k are in existence and when we drop down to 12.5 BOSS per block only 25k will be out. Then its slooowwwwwww release.

I may have missed it but I have a curiosity. Why are the dividends delayed for so long and why didn't they start immediately upon launch?
To tell you the truth, I think they were only part of the roadmap and agreed upon by the ICO investors to start in the future. You have to remember this was an ICO project. So you are essentially investing in a "roadmap" and not existing functionality. Like much of the other projects here. The team has been very transparent about where when and how they are going to get things done. Im impressed so far, because work in software dev in real life, and I understand the difficulties they are facing. In my opinion this is a very professional team. I just want to see the new UI so I can re-evaluate my investments. GBT still super cheap thanks to the market trolls.

This is cool to have a place to exchange BOSS. But this reminds me of how novaexchange was.... Listing coins with tons of pairs, without any requests... I am really hesitant to put any money on this exchange right now. Just a public reminder to keep your money safe. Hi, EmpireX is just new, sorry cant help that. Im listing new coins people point out to me. Because we are new this is a great way to get new people in to our exchange. Couple of months a go Yobit whas not known by many and whas listing everything We dont ist everything. Im not searching for new coins my self like i said its pointed out to me. Its unfortunately novaexchange got hacked (so they say) this affect me as well. Lost also on that not much but a loss is a loss none the less. All we can do is our best and thats what we do. If you have any questions im also much online on chat chanel on exchange Greetings EmpireX Dont get me wrong EmpireX - I admire your effort to help the community and new projects get markets up and running. Its crucial to give these projects some form of exchange to provide some liquidity and let them grow. I was simply pointing out the similarities in the number of markets listed on the exchange and offering a reminder to keep your funds safe to the public. Its always great to see new exchanges. I wish you the best. And dont hesitate to ask for community help if you have questions on keeping it secure. I know a lot of people out here that are willing to offer consulting services for free through more professional channels.

How do you receive dividends? As of now the wallet doesn't work for me on gamebet.gg
Hey, I think the dividends have not started being distributed yet. Thats the talk of the "First Cycle" in the thread right now. They are updating the website, and working on that functionality so you can register your GBT wallet address so you can still Stake the GBT you are registering for dividends. They may allow you to hold them on the website as well, but personally I would rather stake em If thats inaccurate, someone else will correct me. But to the best of my knowledge the first dividend cycle will be starting in a month or so. -Selsonblue

Pretty sad thread to read through... But at least I feel better about not investing in this shoddy business. Immature management, and just straight up bad karma here. Just look at what your audience reads when evaluating this project... enough said, mineum is over.

Seems that you didnt even test your ICO website.... So develop your multi mining algo and lets watch this project crash and burn together.
No longer considering backing this project until more transparency and details around WHO the hell these guys are running this.

ok, my previous post got deleted by the mod, don't know why... so here i go again followed and liked your social media definately watching this thread Mine was also deleted for no good reason, Followed on Twitter and liked mineum on facebook.... Now the truth about this ... your selling a concept and asking for people to trust you now to deliver a product they could just buy themselves.... Why the hell do you think YOU guys are worth this money ? Anthony's facebook as pics of himself on vacation and some other leisure activites.. it does not look like you are preparing to take this project seriously. You should be dedicating 20 hours a day to getting this project up and running by end of Q2 2016 ---for the love of god you dont even have a wallet or any software aside from a generic ICO website... The concept is cool, and your presentation is OKAY at best, If this was a live site I would back it 100% right now. But you make no effort to differentiate your project from every other scam that has ripped off this community. I await your reply, or the "your post has been deleted email".... Thanks for reading, The community

Can I request that you release your companies 3 year financial projections along with your current balance sheet? I would like to think this shouldn't be a problem since your asking for public funding....
They asking for donations, not offereing shares in a company. " Donations will be accepted in Bitcoin (BTC) and bitUSD (BitShares) at www.peerplays.com starting May 6, 2016 at 15:00 UTC (10 am EST)." May 6th Crowdfund Details
Donations will be accepted in Bitcoin (BTC) and bitUSD (BitShares) at www.peerplays.com starting May 6, 2016 at 15:00 UTC (10 am EST).
A total of 1,000,000 tokens have been issued as User-Issued Assets (UIA) on the BitShares blockchain (symbol: “PEERPLAYS”), and will be distributed according to the following schedule:
200,000 - Initial 2 tier crowdfund on May 6 500,000 - Auction style crowdfund, 1 month before the launch of Peerplays blockchain (TBD) 300,000 - Bounties, rewards, ongoing development & contributors
BunkerChain Labs inc. will be accepting donations for the remaining development of the Peerplays blockchain, and distributing 200,000 TOKENS in 2 tiers.
The first distribution will begin on May 6, and will end after all tokens for Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been distributed.
Phase 1: 100,000 tokens - @ $2.00 donation/each Phase 2: 100,000 tokens @ $3.00 donation/each
Are you thick or just part of the scam? This is a fucking ICO if the donations have a SET price........... I will donate 1 satoshi to this project if they accept just give me the address...

No explorer? New dev taking over? Where are bounties coming from? is there a dev fund on new chain? What is new chain total supply? How can people actually consider buying into something without getting this basic need to know information first???
Please update the ANN with all the information that is typically required for a new project.
Thanks, The community
