441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain or Cryptpcurrency? on: October 26, 2018, 05:05:24 PM
Hey guys, there are two different difenitions: Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. A lot of experts say that crypto is going to die soon but blockchain itself is a very useful technology. What do you think are they right? Do you think blockchain can exist without cryptocurrency?
I think blockchain can exist without cryptocurrency, but cryptocurrency can't exist without blockchain. There are many people who develop application development using the blockchain system without having to make crypto currencies too, this is only seen as an optional.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: October 23, 2018, 02:51:00 PM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain
For now, I'd better hodl my ETH for long term investment. I see a very good opportunity to buy and hodl it because the price is still so cheap, that is not more than $250. Compared to last year's price if we rush to sell it now, we cannot get maximum profit from it.
So I chose to believe in the future potential of ETH. Waiting and being patient to get maximum profit is not a bad thing Grin
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Strategy on: October 21, 2018, 12:12:29 PM
Hi everyone,
I just want to tell everyone about the new scheme of the scammer to scam. especially those people who really doesn't understand much about centralized and decentralized trading platform.

I have read several people posting about arbitrage coins like for example MTV arbitrage
Please check this link as an example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050943

upon checking what they the link that they are using, you can see that they are pointing you to Forkdelta.
when you check the trading on https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff-ETH you will see a token named MTV  (Multiversum). The scammer wanted you to think that this token is the same token found on IDEX.
Because there is really a Multiversum on IDEX.

But if you analyze very carefully the MTV on forkdelta doesn't match in IDEX because of 2 factors.

1.) they have a different smart contract. on forkdelta (0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff) , on IDEX (0x07a7ed332c595b53a317afcee50733af571475e7)
2.) The have Different token extension. Forkdelta (MTV) , IDEX (eMTV)

I hope that this short analysis will help others to avoid this kind of scam.
make your analysis first before trying to buy or invest on a token.
Great move!! This is very important and useful information.
I could see information about arbitrage for similar tokens. And before I want to try it, I'm lucky to see this thread from you. To be honestly, if I don't read this thread, maybe I will lose about 5 ETH for that.
You really saved my assets and you are really my hero, brother.

444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UniFox - 💎 Imagine MasterCard for cryptocurrencies 💎 [Presale 28.10.] on: October 21, 2018, 10:48:03 AM
Your project sounds very promising for the future of cryptocurrency and to be honestly this is really a very brilliant idea with awesome concept. Looks like I'm interested to be part of your project, and my first step I will contribute to your presale stage on the 28th of October. By the way, in what country will your ATM's be available? and what is your next action if some of your investors can't use your ATM's facility in their country? Waiting your feedback Grin
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A new bounty scam on: October 21, 2018, 10:14:22 AM
GOLDMA started their bounty campaign in April, and then 1 week before the end (in October) they said they require full KYC meaning:

- Proof of address
- Government issued card
- Selfie holding the ID

Is there any ICO requiring such information from bounty hunters?! To me this is a SCAM to get private details and sell on dark markets. Imagine what they can do with such information! I have never seen anything like this, be careful of these scammers from GOLDMA.

Has anyone experienced something similar from other bounty?
It's normal on this day, usually you are asked to provide a passport, driving license, or identity card and you only need to give one of these choices. For me ID card is the best choice.
Aitheon is one of the ICO projects that asks bounty hunters to do KYC too and they are not scammers.
Know Your Customer (KYC) has become a natural thing in the ICO project. Even now the founder of the ICO project must also verify his identity to get a good rating from the experts if registered in ICO Listing Site.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think what will happen on the end of the 2018 on: October 21, 2018, 05:51:28 AM
Well for me i do not think that there would be a pump for the bitcoin like last year but still i am hoping that it will happen next year or maybe pump but not like last yeat as well. For you what do you think will happen
I think so, at the end of this year the price of bitcoin and altcoin will pump but not as high as last year. We also have to wait for the ETF proposal, if it's approved we can see the green market and moon. But if it's rejected, then the possibility of the price at the end of the year will be worse than it's today.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]REMCO : Worlds First Distributed Platform for Money Transfer on: October 21, 2018, 05:38:15 AM
Awesome concept and briliant idea. I regret that I didn't contribute to the private sale stage in this good project, maybe later I will contribute to the public sale stage. Do you have information about how many the total funds raised at the private sale and pre-sale stages, guys?
By the way, Is there a problem with your website? I just tried to visit it, but it said "This site can't be reached". I want to know more how your project works Smiley
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ATLANTICO NETWORK - Get profit from medical services on: October 21, 2018, 05:18:37 AM
We are near to close the token sale so I want to know what are your thoughts about it, do you think Atlantico will reach the hardcap on the remaining days? I participated on different ICO's and there are investors who bought tokens on the last minute.
I still do believe and have faith that before the end of token sale and concluded, Atlantico network can reach their target hardcap because of the fact that it is really a worth to invest ICO and will definitely beneficial to all the people who will be part of Atlantico network community.
Even though it looks rather difficult to achieve hardcap. Because on one side of the ICO sales phase is 9 days left, and there are still less than 50% of tokens not yet sold. But on the other side Atlantico Network has a team that is very strong and very experienced, if their marketers can take advantage of this moment well, I think they can increase the chances of investors to invest here.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest in an ICO, Reviewing of the team behind is necessary? on: October 20, 2018, 11:32:11 AM
Most ICO's tend to hide their members behind the project. Is not it necessary to know about the team also who are building an ICO project, including other factors of it?
Of course, it's very necessary to know the background of the team. Because today, projects that don't want to show their team, will intend to do a scam. That's why if the ICO project wants to succeed then they must be more transparent to investors. If they have many reasons not to reveal who their team is, be aware of fraud.
Some ICO web listings at this time also have a KYC system to verify ICO projects registered on their web to reduce fraud risks to investors and their loyal subscribers.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: October 20, 2018, 06:20:34 AM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.
It is normal if a project doesn't make payments to bounty hunters because their sales don't reach the softcap target. But as far as I know, there are also some bounty campaigns that keep paying bounty rewards even though their projects don't reach the softcap target.
Bounty Manager has no control over such responsibilities, because they are only tasked with counting stakes, managing everything of bounty campaign and promoting projects. But they have no right and are not responsible for the distribution of rewards.

Don't be afraid to try something, because bounty hunters are also influential as a key to the success of a project.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: October 18, 2018, 05:57:39 AM
You're right, everything we do without knowledge is the same as we won't get anything. So from that something we want to achieve, we must learn first from the basics to understand how the process works. Well, if we have enough knowledge, we can start earning from the knowledge we have mastered before.

Keep educating yourself!!
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: October 17, 2018, 02:36:21 PM
Dear investor!
I have never invested in any ICO. I saw that most of the token / coin after being list on exchange was depreciated by more than 50%. Are you disappointed or all of that is in your plan ?
Thank you!
Well, if you ask disappointed or not, the answer is definitely we are very disappointed. But that doesn't mean we give up with this kind of situation. The thing that makes prices fall by almost more than 50% in the market is due to several factors as well. Of course this is not what I planned. But if the project I follow is very potential, then I will not hesitate to buy all the sell orders in the market when the price is very far below the ICO price.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find the best Bounty Campaigns on: October 15, 2018, 01:17:05 PM
For a while I would participate in bounties from BitcoinTalk.org, but then I started using BountyPlatform.io.  I have yet to get paid one bounty from them, so I started looking back on the site here, but I'm not seeing many.  Did they move them to another category? TIA for any help.
Participate on bounty platform like bountyhive and other like this is good because there's many features that make work easier and no need to report our works. But if you ask where to find the best bounty campaign, so you should do research by yourself in every project you are interested in. Learning the mechanism of how the project works is a basic thing for us to assess whether it is worth supporting or not.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: October 15, 2018, 01:09:05 PM
It's that True if you are a truly bounty hunter you will experienced to promote a scam project ico ?
Of course this can happen. If we don't filter on participating in the campaign, then the campaign that we follow will come from a scam project. I suggest not to carelessly join the bounty campaign because it can generate profits for those who just want to run away from investor's money as a result of our promotions. Do a cross check on the ICO listing website to see verification from their team, and read the whitepaper about the purpose and the way the project works is very important.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ATLANTICO NETWORK - Get profit from medical services on: October 14, 2018, 03:04:30 PM
Excuse me, sir. I see your partner in some locations on the website is not clear. Can you tell us in more detail who is your partner in the following countries: Spain, Russia, and South Africa?
Or is there an error in the info? like you don't have a partner in that country, but it looks there. Waiting your feedback, Thank you.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: October 14, 2018, 02:45:47 PM
I haven't joined bounties in 2017 but in 2018. And there is not much in them now.

Alot of bounty hunters saying that this has been the worst year and it was much better in 2017 and the problem is the number of participants has increased big time and because of that there is nothing much left in bounties now.

Is it true ? and if it is then the participants are going to grow even more in the coming years so that means the bounties will drop further. And if this happens then what will be the future of the bounty hunters and with that what will be the future of cryptos ?
Calm bro, that's why the moderator applies the merit system. With this merit system, not everyone can join the bounty. Only those who have a rank of at least Jr.Member can participate. Even to increase rank to Jr.Member also have to get a minimum of 1 merit, which to get it must really make a useful or informative post. And with a system like this I believe the moderator has the same intention as us, that is to advance this forum together, and get rid of all spam accounts that are still hanging around.
For now the campaign that is still good and worth participating is the signature campaign. Because social media campaigns are full of spam accounts.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the future will be decentralised? on: October 14, 2018, 05:01:44 AM
Do you think DEX's like Bancor will be the future of crypto or do you think that it will get more regulated and centralized as time goes on?

https://medium.com/@openpackaging/decentralized-exchange-the-future-of-cryptocurrency-bceee6a4f724
That can happen, because decentralized exchanges have features that are easier, faster, and without complexity.
Today, centralized exchange has a rather complicated system to ensure the security of user accounts with the KYC system. Of course this can be a plus and minus point. While decentralized exchange does not have that system, but they use a peer-to-peer system and we don't need to worry about the data we enter because they don't store it in the database.
So, let's see in the future. What's better? to be honestly, I still like to use both because they have their advantages and disadvantages.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued altcoins on: October 14, 2018, 04:47:07 AM
What projects with a very strong team and a use case you believe in do you find most undervalued right now?
Personally I think that ZenCash, EOS and FunFair is undervalued.
Especially ZenCash with the new partnership announced yesterday or the day before.
ETHLend and AION has a strong team and strong partnership.
Their products are still running today, even their tokens have been listed on the Binance market. But I see many people still doubt their project and the token is undervalued.
Even though at the beginning of the year their coin prices were very high and now dropped very sharply. Maybe this is because the market effect is being bearish
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: October 13, 2018, 04:33:22 PM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.
Yes you are right, there are now many new ICO projects, but only a few of them are truly innovative and useful for many people.
In my opinion, most of them only think of themselves rather than investors. That's why in this year many investors were disappointed with several ICO projects.
The most important are innovative products created, strong teams with experienced backgrounds, vision for the future plans.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: October 12, 2018, 02:56:17 PM
Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
Many projects failed due to lack of commitment and transparency in carrying out the process, so many investors were disappointed in the project and moved to another project. Other factors are also caused by their brilliant strategy in developing the whitepaper they make, but the way they realize it is inversely proportional to that. Obviously, this is something that investors really hate because they talk more than do it.
