Hi, did anybony try to get a refund / a partial refund?

I decided to get a refund, clicked this option in my account at asic-hardware.com, now my order has this status: "Marked for refund" and nothing more. As it was mentioned refunds will be processed by burnin in mid October. I hope.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【ANN】【PGC】Pangu coin - launched! on: September 17, 2013, 06:45:08 PM
My theory:

- it's scrypt-jane
- rpc has been disabled in this pre-compiled client or password is hardcoded
- coin creator has his own version and mines with ybminer (scrypt-jane)
- after a while a v1.1 client will be released on github, when he mined enough

Why I think password is hardcoded? When I create a pangubi.conf and point the miner at the correct port I set in the conf, it gives an "invalid credentials" error rightaway. If I point it at the wrong port, it takes 5 seconds to give an error. So something is listening but doesn't accept my credentials.

I don't think I ever used the word "scamcoin" on this forum but I have a feeling I'm close to using it.

exactly same here

Edited my first post, OP please clarify our doubts

How to solo mine with CGminer?
There is no rpcport.

Thanks
You can mine only with buil-in miner because this coin seems to use a new algo. Unfortunately there is no source code so we don't know the details.

did anyone receive any PGC?
No. There are only 134 blocks, 6 more than at the launch. I wonder if this is how it should be..

Please upload files in a different location. Can not open link with QT.

Go to http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=456156400&uk=540818896

Click on the first text on the left, then this bold something in a popup window:

Still not synchronizing. If the main node is in China it won't be easy I guess.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【ANN】【PGC】Pangu coin - launched! on: September 17, 2013, 12:18:11 PM
not synchronizing , any nodes?
Yes please, share some nodes!
There is one in readme.txt but doesn't work for me...

addnode 121.197.0.79 add
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【ANN】【PGC】Pangu coin - launched! on: September 17, 2013, 12:00:14 PM
because there is still one minute to launch..

edit: OK, now the download link is ok, but also in Chinese. You need to figure out where to click to download it. A handicap for China Wink

Please publish addnodes.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【ANN】【PGC】Pangu coin - launched! on: September 17, 2013, 11:55:39 AM
Hey, why the download site is in chinese? I know it's going to be 2nd world's language in some time, but I think currently we still prefer English Wink

edit:

Warning, possible scam:
- source not released
- 128 blocks already mined at the launch
- doubts about the client: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=295918.msg3174713#msg3174713
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 【ANN】【PGC】Pangu coin will be launched on September 17 on: September 17, 2013, 08:59:27 AM

459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Offerings to Cthulhu - Now Worshipping. on: September 15, 2013, 10:29:43 AM

 Is there a calculation of how much $ I would mine with 45 mh/s ? (as in I mine 45 mh/s bitcoins but 45 kh/s litecoin)
This is neither SHA-256 nor Scrypt; it uses the same algo as quarkcoin, you need to test your hashrate with internal miner or quark miner (download URL provided in first post).
