No doubt 300 is a good score to have but I think it was great show by Indian bowlers especially from Yadav which made Australia to restrict at 300 or else the score of 400 was easily achievable at this surface and now India needs a good partnership and if that happens then India can take a good lead in first innings which can bring Australia under pressure.
I am not going to argue that 300 runs is not a good score but if you look at the start they got and the partnership with Warner and Smith ,i thought they will be going to score above 450 runs even in this match, but full credits to the debut player who took all the wickets, hope India scores and with one batsmen less they have to play really well to win this match.

Australia are slightly behind, because 300 is not a hugely advantageous score. India can easily overcome it if a couple of batsmen click. The first session will be crucial and if India can avoid losing wickets, they will be the favourites.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: SATOSHI - BTC 32 MB Blockchain Size on: March 21, 2017, 05:35:29 AM
Hello professionals,

I am amatour but I know that Satoshi created Bitcoin with Blockchain size like 32 MB.

1. Who and why changed it to 1 MB ?
2. Why can`t we back to 32 MB ?

You can look at the Bitcoin Wiki to get some background.
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Scalability_FAQ

Bitcoin Core was initially released without an explicit block size limit. However, the code did limit network messages to a maximum of 32 MiB, setting an effective upper bound on block size.[2]
Around 15 July 2010, Satoshi Nakamoto changed Bitcoin Core’s mining code so that it wouldn’t create any blocks larger than 990,000 bytes.[3]
Two months later on 7 September 2010, Nakamoto changed Bitcoin Core’s consensus rules to reject blocks larger than 1,000,000 bytes (1 megabyte) if their block height was higher than 79,400.[4] (Block 79,400 was later produced on 12 September 2010.[5])

... Statements by Nakamoto in the summer of 2010 indicate he believed Bitcoin could scale to block sizes far larger than 1 megabyte. For example, on 5 August 2010, he wrote that "[W]hatever size micropayments you need will eventually be practical. I think in 5 or 10 years, the bandwidth and storage will seem trivial" and "[microtransactions on the blockchain] can become more practical ... if I implement client-only mode and the number of network nodes consolidates into a smaller number of professional server farms" [7].

These statements suggest that the intended purpose of the 1 megabyte limit was not to keep bandwidth and storage requirements for running a Bitcoin node low enough to be practical for personal computers and consumer-grade internet connections, and that the limit was intended to be lifted to accommodate greater demand for transactional capacity.

443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price of bitcoin still skyrocket on: March 21, 2017, 05:32:00 AM
Depends on your definition of 'skyrocket.'  Grin

If it's like 1000% increase in the price then it's impossible.
What I'm trying to say is there's a lot of up and down in price of bitcoin this year and the prediction made last year was the price will reach $2100 level. Can we still achieve the price of $2100 per bitcoin due to the obstacles bitcoin is facing there and there.

The debate over scaling and blocksize have festered for too long. I expect they will be sorted out this year. Once the capacity of the BTC network improves, I think the price will skyrocket. $2100 looks achievable once the scaling debate/hard fork controversy dies down.  Smiley
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 21, 2017, 05:24:04 AM
@vella85 Before coming to India it was said that this was the weakest team touring India in a very long time and so they were not under any pressure and they batted brilliantly in the spinning tracks and the way they defended the entire day shows how determined they are to save the match and they have the spinners to trouble the Indian batsmen in these sort of tracks, altogether it was a brilliant match.

Good cricket by Australian batsman, it's been expected that India easily makes a winning as the first session of the last day gave two early wicket fall. Soon after that batsmen handscomb and Marsh made the match go easy draw with their perfect defending performance against the Indian Spinners who are expected to change the match scenario.

Playing a full session out without losing a wicket, on the 5th day of the test match, with the pitch wearing and top quality spinners operating - Kudos to Handscomb and Marsh. This was an unexpected result, considering the position India were in. So the 4th match of this series will be the decider. India will be under pressure to win this one.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! (again) on: March 19, 2017, 12:37:11 PM
you true this now is good time to buy bitcoin again
but i think is good wait until issue about bitcoin unlimited clrear, because without issue clrear bitcoin price can down again

When the Bitcoin Unlimited price does clear, the price will sky rocket again. You will lose out to people who took a bit of risk and bought bitcoins now. You won't get another chance to buy at these prices again, unless there is a hard fork.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Why dumps are important on: March 19, 2017, 12:31:43 PM
Right now, the Bitcoin market has achieved sufficient scale to prevent market manipulations.
In other alt markets, lot of dumps are carried out by whales to depress the market and then pick up coins at a low rate. This is less likely to happen with bitcoins, though

That seems to be a misguided opinion

In fact, I'm rather inclined to think in the opposite direction. With most folks going to withhold their coins and given the limited supply of new coins, the Bitcoin market tends to be more prone to manipulation. In other words, there is not much growth in scale, and you seem to be confusing growth in prices with growth in "scale". I guess this is a mistake and your stance doesn't match well what happens in reality. In real life, higher prices at the basically the same amount of something traded (in this case, bitcoins) make markets thinner overall which facilitates manipulation, not prevents it (and this is irrespective of how many whales are there)

How easy it is to manipulate prices depends on 2 things - the depth of the market and the price. Compared to altcoins, both of these are high for Bitcoin. You just have to look at the daily volumes traded to see if it is difficult or easy for a whale to move the market.

Sensational victory for Bangladesh. It is the first test victory for them against Sri Lanka and they have achieved in their 100th test match. It makes the victory all the more memorable. The target was not much (191) but Bangladesh have collapsed under similar circumstances in the past. This time, they made it look easy.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 18, 2017, 09:36:48 AM
Sri Lanka seem to be struggling against Bangladesh.  Shocked
Not only did they concede the first innings lead, they have lost wickets in a heap in the second innings. Current score is 200/6. If they don't set a target of at least 150 runs for Bangladesh, it will be a gift to Bangladesh on their 100th test match.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin unlimited? on: March 18, 2017, 07:19:55 AM
Yes price of BU and BTC both drops first by 50% and then the strong chain will eventually recover back on track. seems like market is reacting with strong stance opposing BU.

It is unlikely that both will drop by exactly 50%. What matters is how much of BTC is dumped on exchanges and how much of BTU is dumped on exchanges. I expect both supporters to get into an all out war.  Smiley
450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 18, 2017, 07:14:25 AM
if you want speculation if good you can selling youre bitcoin balance
and then buyback again in low price, because this now bitcoin price is downtrend
after about Bitcoin unlimited node crash issue,  bitcoin down trend price

If you are only projecting a temporary dip in Bitcoin's price, why should you take the risk of selling. When the price falls to rock bottom, and in case you miss buying in at that point, you could be left out of a bull rally. Better to just hold.
451  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Importing Private Keys on: March 16, 2017, 03:11:06 PM
Hi,

I have created a new Electrum wallet by importing private keys from another client.
A few of the addresses are highlighted with a bright red colour in the background.
Is there anything I should know before using these addresses?

Normally, a red color means that the addresses were created beyond the gap limit... In your case, there is no gap limit because you imported private keys (so you don't have a deterministic wallet).
I guess you could call it a "bug", altough i doubt it will do any harm, it's a feature for HD wallets that still gets triggered on a non-HD wallet.

I suppose the red background color will disappear once a couple of those adresses got inputs, and electrum deems the red colored addresses to be within the predefined gap limit.

But, anyways, bug or no bug, since you imported the private keys, there isn't much that could go wrong (or am i missing something here). Worst case scenario, you could always download core and import the same private keys there (altough i doubt it would ever come to that).

BTW: you could try to edit the gap limit to a number higher than the total amount of imported addresses, if you do this, the red background *SHOULD* dissapear.

EDIT => to increase the gap limit in 2.8.0
  • open electrum
  • go to the console
  • wallet.storage.put('gap_limit',1000)
  • close electrum
  • restart electrum

Thanks! I was just concerned because I saw the red colour for the first time.
Wanted to make sure that I didn't do anything wrong in the import process. Seems like everything is okay.

454  Economy / Economics / Re: Capitalism on: March 15, 2017, 03:21:03 AM
There is almost no capitalism. A small group of people has captured all spheres of influence, capital does not play a significant role today. Many powerful companies with large capital can not exist today, because they are simply being expelled from the market by the "secret rulers of the world."

Powerful companies are being broken up by governments under the garb of preventing monopolies and maintaining stability of the markets ("too big to fail"). But that doesn't mean that there is no capitalism. The powers of the largest capitalists are just restricted.

Can bangladesh comeback?

Out of the 17 test matches played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka have 15 of them. Two matches ended in a draw - one in Bangaldesh in 2014 and one in Sri Lanka in 2013. Unless the pitch is a batting featherbed, I don't see any other result except a Bangladeshi loss.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 14, 2017, 01:10:16 PM
Tomorrow Sri Lanka vs. Bangladesh, the 2nd test is going to start. First test Sl won by huge runs margin, and they are playing with same confidence to win this game. Bangladesh wants to come back in this match. I don't know how they will bat against SL spinners. I think this test is also one side game SL will win this match.

I think betting on Sri Lanka is the way to go in this match. Bangladesh have improved over the years, but are not in a position to win matches against top teams. I don't think they have the temperament to force draws either.
This is Bangladesh's 100th test match. Off the field, there are a lot of arrangements. Let us hope they put up a show on the fields as well.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: March 13, 2017, 03:22:59 PM
What is the best short-term (3 months or less) investment you made?

The best short-term investment that I joined and run in 3 months  was investing in high-yield investment program (HYIP), this hyip is known to last only a short period of time but sometime we need some skills of intelligent and feeling about what will happen in that hyip if it can take longer or will just scam your money after awhile.

That wasn't the best short term investment you made. That was a gamble on which you got lucky.
I would never suggest investing in a ponzi or HYIP to anybody.

There is some consolidation after the ETF decision. If you see, most of the altcoins seem to be rising now.
I predict that we should start rising and cross $1300 again by 20th March.

The third T20 match between Afghanistan and Ireland is going on and since they are playing in Indian conditions the spinners are shining for the Afghans and they are in really good form with both bat and the ball and in this match Ireland won the toss and elected to field and now Afghanistan is pilling a very huge total as they have already reached 189 runs for 5 with 2 overs remaining and my bet is on Afghanistan.

Afghanistan made a rocking 233 in their allotted 20 overs. It is very difficult for Ireland to chase down such a large score, although they have some big hitters in their side. Afghanistan should be able to choke them once the spinners come on.

Right now, it does not matter who wrote the white paper.
The animal has taken a life of its own, and it can't be controlled now. So it doesn't matter if the governments had a hand in it. They might be able to influence the price with the stash of initially mined bitcoins, but even that will pass.
