441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transaction speeds? on: February 17, 2018, 11:04:56 AM
Well good for you the network is really fast right now and have been for some times, the congestion problem was on november and it is no longer a problem as the speed and cost are really great right now. For the ico, i haven't read into new projects nowadays so i can't recommend you a good one.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: February 16, 2018, 03:20:19 PM
The best exchange for a beginner is I prefer for cryptopia.
The coins on cryptopia mostly are low marketcap coin and not all of them have good dev so for beginner it's not that recommended to use. Binance is the most suitable one for them as they only list good coin and they are very easy to use.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: February 16, 2018, 03:05:15 PM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..
You don't lose anything though, it is just you lose the opportunity to gain more money than you got before. It's different because you don't have the coin when the price spiked. It's a common situation as everyone was happy when their token worth a lot on December but they lose a lot because they didn't get to sell it.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: February 14, 2018, 02:43:41 PM
So low market cap is better for investment?
It mean we dont have huge amount of coins ready for sell?

It's definitely not a better investment, it can earn you more profit indeed than high marketcap coin but it also has more risk as investment compared to high marketcap coin. Low marketcap coin is cheap because they haven't proved themselves or they haven't got enough coverage. If you want to invest in a low marketcap coin, then you have to find one with good dev or else there will be a situation where the project is abandoned.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think i should sell my coins to cut my losses? on: February 14, 2018, 02:13:12 PM
hi guys right now im hodling ada, nem, xmr, waves, utrust, ast, xrb, vib

my initial capital was 4000 usd.
i am down 50%.

do you think it is better to cash out now and just invest it to a safer investment like Land or stocks
i have a 7x 580 and 1070ti mining and just rely on that to buy cryptos?

or do you think i should hodl
No,, you should hold as half of your bag is a good long term coin. Your mistake is you bought during the top of the bullrun so it's a given that you will suffer losses right now, the losses already too big so it's better to hold them for a few months or maybe a year. It's your decision to invest where you want, if you can't handle crypto price movement then it''s better to buy land as stock is just a poor crypto.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: February 13, 2018, 02:37:18 PM
Most of them will grow but we don't know which one that will grow the fastest out of them all. My pick for this year is NEO, Nano, Neblio, VEN and monero for privacy one. I don't follow all privacy coin but monero is the one with largest community so pick it. I have bought the others since last year and still holding it because i believe it will be a great investment.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: February 12, 2018, 03:13:37 PM
Yeah, better invest in icos that already have a working product or at least a decent demo of what they are gonna do. It's miles better than waiting for a long time until they release their alpha version and wait more until the commercial release. If there's demo then at least the team prepare a lot for the ico and serious about their project.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You looking for in ICO? on: February 12, 2018, 12:58:13 PM
The most important thing for me is the usefulness of the coin, a lot of icos have concept where coin / token aren't needed and they only create the token to justify their ico so for me the token must be useful, either as utility to be used in the platform or something like dividend. After that i will consider the demand for the project, if it's good then most likely i will invest in the ico.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paid services that provide trading signals on alts? on: February 11, 2018, 05:24:55 AM
There are plenty of them in telegram, most of them have a lot of followers though that can drive the price up quickly after the signal is out. I joined one group where there are only 55 people and most of the signal provided there is spot on and i can actually learn from the way the signal is described.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will XRP hit $10 in 2018? on: February 10, 2018, 04:51:04 PM
Ok, so why did XRP suddenly hit $3 (and above) in 2017 and went down? I would go with the theory saying that it reached high because banks and businesses shared their positive feedback about XRP. However, the actual adoption and the further domino effect might take 5 to 10 years, but it will (since XRP has already proved to be a reliable tool for cheaper and faster global transactions that can be effectively used by big enterprises). The question is when and how fast they will adopt the new xCurrent framework that takes the process to the next step. Once they do, the domino effect cannot be avoided and the price will hit even above $10. The question is when and how fast. That's why I am pushing for XRP being a long-term investment option now.
I don't think so, even with the latest great bullrun it only reach $3 with that insane amount of shilling on internet and media to attract normal people to buy it and they have suffered very bad from the bear market so it will be very hard to break the ath, also the marketcap if ripple reach that price is really big so i don't think it can reach $10 this year, better choose other coin for investment.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH on: February 10, 2018, 04:33:00 PM
Hello all,

I am looking to store ETH in a wallet, what would you suggest is the best and safest way to do this? I am considering buying a trezor as well for extra protection. I am simply looking to hodl ETH.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
Hardware wallet is always the best wallet to store your crypto so trezor or nano ledger s is the best one especially if you are only storing eth so you won't have to bother with erc20 token. If you don't want to buy hardware wallet then my vote goes to metamask as i feel it's more secure than myetherwallet.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO, TRON or IOTA? on: February 10, 2018, 04:18:34 PM
Hi,

I´m thinking about spending part of my ETH,  buying some NEO, TRON or IOTA. Which one is the best investment?

Thanks
I think NEO is the best investment out of the choices above because it has developed more than Tron or IOTA, i don't know much about IOTA but tron is only a whitepaper at this moment while NEO already have several icos running on their blockchain and more to come at this year, think it as ETH when it was still new.

454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO for long term on: February 09, 2018, 03:52:23 PM
I want to invest in Ethereum or NEO for next two years, need $15k

Is is better to hold 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO till 2020?

IMO, NEO can reach $1000 easily this year but its hard for Ethereum to reach $10k till 2020.

What do you suggest?
I will take 15 neo over 2 ethereum because i believe in this year neo will make a great breakthrough that will take their marketcap close to ethereum. 2020 is still 2 more years (3 if you count until the end of 2020) but $10k will take ethereum to insane level of marketcap. For this year i prefer NEO as an investment compared to ethereum.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on advisors when choosing a good ICO project? on: February 09, 2018, 02:33:37 PM
Lately all the projects try to attract best faces onboard for their projects, I started noticing that they are almost the same everywhere. What things are more important for you? Are advisors one of the most significant criteria?
No i don't care much about advisor because i focus more on the team member as they are the one that will build the project. They contribute to the project but i don't think it's that much, the most significant criteria is their whitepaper and team background so you know they can build the project or not.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 08, 2018, 02:04:06 PM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
Well i read it if i am curious about the project but i don't read all whitepaper for each ico. I always read the summary at the announcement thread/website first before deciding to read the whitepaper if i need more information about the project. Reading multiple of them is indeed a burden but it's a sacrifice that you have to do it if you want to understand and invest in good project.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HAVVEN is a KYC scam to gain your personal data on: February 08, 2018, 01:36:47 PM
People are insane if they give their identification to get some random airdrops, it's not worth the risk so stop giving away your important data. I can understand if an ico need a kyc for their investor because it's to follow the regulation but airdrop is a worthless project with close to no aim and they don't need kyc at all.
458  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO][SUKSES] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 Taking crypto payments mainstream. on: February 03, 2018, 02:16:48 PM
ente bener-bener lucu wkwk.

459  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO][SUKSES] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 Taking crypto payments mainstream. on: February 02, 2018, 04:20:42 PM
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: February 02, 2018, 04:15:45 PM
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!
The review sites like that usually only touch the surface of the ico and there's a lot of factors that can make an ico sold out or not, for example being endorsed by mcafee can make an ico sold out but the rating site doesn't make their review based on this factors. It's always the best to do the research yourself, if you have an ico you like, join their group chat and read about news and people's discussion because you can guess how much they will sell.
