441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: August 09, 2023, 10:52:05 PM
Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?

We can't apply the word "less risky" to both Future trading and Gambling. Either of those can wreck anyone if not handled properly and just do some random strategies without any plan. Targeting a big profit at both requires knowledge even we need also some luck at those.

If we talk about the capability of earning big, both of them are proven to give us that opportunity but it's not as easy as we think.

I'm aware of how Future trading works but I don't consider doing it as a regular activity of mine because I'm not hooked on it even though I do know the potential big money that I can earn here. I prefer Spot trading instead if we talk about trading-related activity. Gambling on the other hand is already part of my usual doings for several years. I can't really find a specific reason why should we compare Future trading to Gambling.

My fearless forecast is that they will be part in the final 12 roster of Gilas as both AJ Edu and Rhenz Abando plays excellent defense on which coach Chot Reyes wants this version of Gilas to be defense oriented.
I'm confident that they will be included, but I just have concern about how Coach Chot is treating Rhenz Abando. It seems like he hasn't given him enough minutes to help the team. Personally, I believe he would fit well and would be able to help if he were part of the starting lineup. The good thing with Rhenz Abando is his effort; if he cannot score, he will contribute on the other end with defense and rebounding the ball. He is an all-around player that could give and maintain energy for the team. We need that, as we aren't on the top list of rankings. So from the very start, our energy should be high.

Good thing that while everyone in the backup squad of Gilas is only sharing limited minutes, Rhenz Abando is making sure that he will always show a good performance on those limited minutes to show his capability. His athletic ability can be a big help on the team and despite the fact that he is not that tall, he is good at defense and that's the reason why he became popular in the South Korean League. Aside also from his great leaping ability, he also has a good stroke in the 3-point area making him an all-around player with that small height.

I will be pissed off if Rhenz Abando won't make it to the final pool. They should consider removing the Ravena brothers instead.

Not against them just to be clear but they are not contributing much especially Thirdy Ravena.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 09, 2023, 09:54:17 PM
Let's await the development of this potential undisputed fight, as it has been reported that Tapales' camp is not satisfied with the offer from Inoue's camp regarding the revenue sharing. Tapales' camp argues that both fighters are champions, so they likely expect a more equal split, possibly around 50/50 or even no less than 45/55, despite Inoue being the more popular boxer.

Even though Tapales is also a champion, we can't disregard the fact that it's Naoya Inoue as the big reason why the fight will be sold out. More people will watch the fight to witness Inoue being the undisputed champion and not because it's Tapales fighting in the ring. It's impossible for Inoue's camp to accept a 50/50 deal. A 60/40 deal seems reasonable to me and Tapales camp should accept that.

I'm curious about what the exact split is being offered to Tapales camp. Maybe it's 70/30 where that kind of share is only supposed to be applied to a challenger with no hold title. 60/40 should be enough in regards to Inoue's popularity and giving a fair approach to Tapales as his fellow champion in the Super Bantamweight.

While these camps are not finalizing yet a deal, Casimero's camp on the other hand should now be aggressive in negotiating another fight to boost the ranking. Time is running for him and if we see his performance on his last fight, not that appealing and he can't show that kind of fighting style against Inoue if they will face each other.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 09:20:15 PM
The first time I tried slots in my life, I use 1Eur to make 240Euro, this was my most joyous day in gambling, it was so unexpected, I freaked out and freaking lost my mind, since then I started believing that gambling do have some surprises when you don't expect them.

No technical explanation is involved nor we can call it being programmed for new users lol but what you experienced is called "beginners luck".

I'm sure almost most first-time slot players or first-time gamblers in general experienced that kind of gambling-related famous term. It's just normal that you are hyped about your winning and decided to continue. If you won on your first try, that's the start of being hooked on gambling.

Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

Who doesn't have losses doing gambling until now?

Even professional gamblers are losing as we speak. It's just that thru their gambling experience, they were able to build a strong foundation as a gambler and they can make their own strategy on how to bounce back. It's up to you now if you will continue to play slots despite losing more compare to winning.

It's your money after all therefore decide for yourself.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 09, 2023, 08:50:39 PM
Do not chase promotional bonuses if it exceeds the budget limit we have than we will encounter difficulties later. Surely later there will be a promotional bonus that suits us so that we can take it without difficulty and make sure to read the rules before taking the bonus.

I'm seeing it the other way around.

Isn't it more reasonable to do some chasing promotional bonuses if lack of budget? There are lots of interesting promotional bonuses around that give up to 150% - 200% deposit bonuses and sometimes there are even added Free Spins on top of those deposits in some cases. Of course, the drawback is, expect that the wagering requirement is challenging at the same time, also expect that the maximum withdrawal allowed on that said promotional bonus does have a limit.

I should say that it's better than nothing compares to playing gambling with a small amount of bankroll.

There are lots of players already who are able to get a good run with that.

447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 29, 2023, 11:12:08 AM
Whatever the purpose is, taking a loan is fine as long as we do have good communication with the lender and agreed on the said terms.

We can't control people who want to take a loan to be used for gambling since what if they can afford to pay that loan no matter what? We just have to mind our own business. In an event where these people who took out loan for gambling and are unable to cover it, then they should accept the consequences.

Others are lucky to win big in gambling out from loans. On the other hand, there are unfortunate. That's the reality.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 29, 2023, 10:57:10 AM
If we planned our gambling bet we should not be going crazy after when we have not meet up our target in gambling,

Is this even possible? Even newbie or experienced gamblers I doubt won't go crazy if they can't meet their respective targets.

Then why do they gamble in the first place if not expecting something in return?

Plan our gambling? It doesn't make sense to do. Just keep ourselves disciplined and know our limits.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: July 27, 2023, 11:52:58 PM
Let's accept the fact that Marlon Tapales is going to be a massive underdog in this fight. I will also support him no matter what and who knows he can score an upset. But looking at the reality, it's hard to think that he can upset Inoue as this guy is currently at the peak of his prime and career.

What choice do we have then for PH fans? Murodjon Akhmadaliev is just on a par with Stephen Fulton in terms of capability if we looked at their respective stats and even Tapales upset the former, he get that win easily while on the other hand, Inoue just pulverized the latter.

Can't wait to see this battle. I hope Tapales will surprise us and even if he loses to Inoue here, I'm expecting a not-easy win for Inoue.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 19, 2023, 08:49:20 AM
I also wonder how would people take any interest in games where they know the players have taken skill-enhancing pills to perform better, how would the fans of specific players react who are involved in these games know that their favorites are not performing well because they play well but it is all because they are on pills.

There is no way popular athletes will join the event as it will ruin their professional careers. What we can see here mostly are new players or brand new faces in general therefore people will just start to become a follower of these athletes once the event now started.

The fans know in the first place that the Olympic-same event allowed the use of doping drugs therefore, why should they bother with that?

What matters to these bettors is to just take profit in sports betting as usual.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 19, 2023, 08:09:08 AM
Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.

Find the answer for yourself. We have our own reasons, interest, and preferences regarding gambling and we are not on the same page.

Why bother to risk your money in gambling if you admit that you don't have the ability to spend money here? In the first place, ask yourself, why you consider gambling. Because you saw others getting profit with it despite the case of many are losing or you just curious what gambling is all about?

To solve your confusion, try gambling, see the result for yourself, analyze your experience here then decide if you will continue to do it or not.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 14, 2023, 11:58:46 PM
And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.

The terms should always be fair. In the first place, we accept being a partner and agree to share to form a much large bankroll.

I don't really understand why it would end up in that situation where the other one is asking for a much share where in fact, it's clear from the start that the capital used was being shared equally. Therefore, also the winnings too and there's even no need for a technical discussion about it.

I don't know how will I feel if, at some point, I will experience that situation. For now, and a good thing, I was associated only with good gamblers around.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 14, 2023, 11:47:18 PM
Lottery here in our country is being run by our government and the majority of the citizen in our country are lottery bettors for many years, I personally know people who are betting for ten or more years but they still have not hit the jackpot I wonder what these people think or if you're a lottery bettor for many years and you read that one first time bettor hit a huge jackpot in a lottery.

Will you feel envious? Ok with it? or motivated?

Filipino first-time bettor wins 15 million Dirhams in Dubai lottery

Just usual lottery news for me since there are many first-time bettors already who won big. It's also easy to say and claim that these people are first timer bettors but in reality, already spend lots of money in the lottery and now it's now their time to shine.

These people are just really lucky as winning the lottery is really damn hard that it's even more chance to get hit by lightning than winning huge in the lottery.

Will I feel motivated? envious? Of course, no. I just hope that someday, even at 0.000001% chance, I will become one of those big winners too. I don't mind my security and safety as what matter first is, I should win first lol. While betting in the lottery, I hope my spend money here really goes for what the lottery is intended to in the first place.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: July 11, 2023, 04:01:31 AM
This is why if you dont like those ads been popping out then we could always make out some report about on being that inappropriate.

I'm sure the current algorithm is close to being 99.9% accurate.

There's no way in most cases that inappropriate advertisements will just throw randomly that's why reporting those ads won't change anything since the ads thrown were accurate based on their system not unless we can back up our report with accurate details and information.

It's just that users have to live with that and accept that related ads will really be shown based on the user's activity.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 11, 2023, 02:21:57 AM
Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling?

No specific time. Just doing gambling whenever I really feel like doing it.

Not related to winning chance but I do feel more winning when I really feel it instead of gambling in random days. Smiley

If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available?

It depends on the availability of the sports or match.

If I do see good and worthy odds, especially in my favorite league, I will consider betting on it regardless of the day.

As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods?

Sounds like a hassle to me. No need to do that and not's necessary.

If you need some data about your betting history or records, the site should have it for you whenever you like to request on it.

And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere?

I do think that question is not necessary to answer. I don't know how responses here about that can help you with your gambling stuffs. Gamblers have different preferences and you don't need to do the same. Just find your own where you are comfortable. Smiley
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 05, 2023, 11:58:13 PM
  • Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?
  • Has it aided you in overcoming gambling addiction (if you were addicted) or developing healthier gambling habits?
  • Have you noticed an overall improvement in your gambling experiences?

Let's delve into this topic because beyond simply increasing post counts, there must be genuine benefits to actively participating in these discussions.

I'm a gambler before even way back being an active poster here on gambling boards therefore I can't really say that it affects my overall improvement in my gambling journey referring to technical aspects and forming my own strategy and analysis. But the good thing that happened is, this is the first time that I actually engaged much in a gambling-related discussion with more people around.

Before, my gambling journey was only associated with a few talks on a few people at other forums, meaning to say only fewer gamblers are there and the topics in gambling are not that wide, but here in the forum, lots of fellow gamblers are involved.

Generally, the social part was improved and it's good to discuss gambling discussions with more people on board compared to a few.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DISCUSSION-How hard is it to beat a sportsbook? on: July 04, 2023, 11:55:31 PM
As you claimed to be a sports bettor for 15 years I think you don't need any input as you should know what's the best thing to do.

If you think you can't handle anymore the changes you are referring to during the time you started from the current situation, then take a break. Why stress yourself for something that you don't want to do anymore or now become a lack of interest?

Supposedly, what else can we do about those changes you pointed out in the gambling industry nowadays?

We should be the ones to adjust rather than the gambling environment will adjust for us.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: July 04, 2023, 11:21:37 PM
It's better to find a provider or casino that can really give us an advantage if we want to bet on the lottery so that we are not burdened with tax costs which in my opinion are inappropriate.

Lotteries are always associated with high prize reward, that is even considered an insane amount.

It's already usual to always expect that a tax is associated with winnings here. National lotteries for example, in most cases, there's an associated task. Besides, we can't compare the prizes between the national lottery and the lottery that was organized by a gambling site, for example, that's why maybe there are some lotteries that don't charge tax-related expenses.

Anyways, I'd rather participate in a national lottery and I'm fine with paying taxes there compare to looking for an effort to find a casino for the reason you have mentioned. But before anything else, what should I be worried about tax as what matter here first is, I should win no matter what lol.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 04, 2023, 11:09:21 PM
Whatever technical analysis regarding EVs or any related sports betting terms, it doesn't really the main factor why most bettors lose in the long run.

Simple, sports betting is gambling and we are challenging the risks here. If sports betting is that easy, then we won't end up in a discussion like this.

Even professional sports bettor loses as we speak because matches are not that predictable. Even the goal though is to minimize the losing streak, it's not that simple to do. Therefore, try our very best to consider those important factors before hitting that place the bet button.

At this point, you might be tempted to think that betting on favorites with low odds would ensure long-term success. However, that’s not the case.

I considered that as the worst mindset. That was even riskier compare to placing a bet on high odds.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 04, 2023, 10:42:06 PM
Now the question is, how can 5 goals from the away teams be scored in barely a time to blink?? Could that have supposed to mean something different? Maybe a bug? Or is it some sort of misprogramming?

There should be at least an available simulation replay or something related to that term to verify how the result happened. It should show the bettors the overall breakdown of what we really on that game. I don't see it as a misprogrammed if we refer to a legit virtual betting site.

I don't have experience betting on virtual games but since you work at a casino house, are you aware of how virtual betting results are shown?

Does it have a sort of what I mentioned about anything related to viewing the post-match simulation?
