Yes a little drunk but it is mostly true that the blockchain is the new google. It is basically the new everything.

Oh well, their problem, not bitcoins. They will accept it when they have too and they are hoping that day does not come.

OpenBazaar RoadmapToday we’re releasing our high-level roadmap for OpenBazaar, which you can find here. In April 2016, OpenBazaar 1.0 was released to a better than expected response and has been used by thousands of people all over the world. We’re excited by our initial release, but OpenBazaar has a long journey ahead of it. https://medium.com/@therealopenbazaar/openbazaar-roadmap-46b9e774f319#.u9cr28j0a Good information. Nice to see specifics. It is working well for me except for a few minor bugs which I see are in the works.

Isn't this a natural result of the halving coming and less coins will be produced meaning less mining? Looks like it is happening to others as well.

Your not broke...you have 6 bitcoin! You may look at that decision at a later date as a very smart decision. Very elaborate burial and yes, try not to disclose your bird fountain location ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I had no idea that the data can be lost over time ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Thanks for this information!

No it does not matter if we find out who created bitcoin. They have no intention of being found as it would distract from the technology.
It is moving now. 50 would be great.

Not going to happen. They would have to deal with the Chinese on this and this is an American agency. The good part about bitcoin is that it is global and there is no global agency that can take control of it.

It is not a business, it is a currency. Business = centralized Bitcoin = decentralized. One should not use business when describing bitcoin.
May be you are right, but in my view, you are saying Bitcoin is not business, it is a currency. when you started a business that all depend on money, mean, Currency, can you tell me on Business name where not use the Currency. So far as i know, if you use you currency in any field, you can call it is a business, trading or investment. that are all kinds. i want clear that, if i use my bitcoins in any investment and than i get profit. so i can call i have done a good business. That is fine and all and technically yes you could say so. But isn't the purpose of Bitcoin to move away from current economic models into a new era? That era being a decentralized economy devoid of current "business" practices?

Simply treat it like any capital gain tax laws in your location. It is taxable.

It appears that the entire fiasco was crafted to destroy Matonis and Andresen.
He has apparently taken the fall in order to hand more power to those who are not Matonis and Andresen.
But the saga may not be fully played out yet...
well, crafted or not, their reputation has been compromised forever and as you say, i wonder what comes next. i need more popcorn There is not enough popcorn for this. How do we even know he wrote this. And yes, it has damaged reputations, so who wins?

It sounds like a full intention to detain him. So arresting him via terror laws, are they implying that the creator of Bitcoin is an agent of terrorism??
Strange indeed. I am guessing he did not write this but who knows, this thing has become a tech soap opera.
yes i refuse. we are all Satoshi
So does this mean he did not really say that he believed Wright is Satoshi and that it is a hacker that did instead?

This is great news, I have come close to sending what I did not mean to and with an option to cancel it is good for new users. I also like that a former Amazon exec is behind this.

Thanks for sharing, this shows how important 2FA is whenever possible. It can be a pain but it is so worth the few extra seconds to save 1000s of dollars in btc/crypto.
