Balthazar и [Tycho] а чем babki не прав? Действительно, зачем продавать печатный станок, если можно печатать деньги самому? Да, централизации никто не допустит, но ведь и сделать асиков можно не много (на 500-900Ghs) и получать кучу бабок.
Тут вообще кто нибудь в курсе по поводу того, сколько стоит бизнес приносящий прибыль? Если есть кафешка или магазин, который приносит прибыль допустим 2000$ в месяц, то стоимость этого бизнеса на продажу будет стоить как минимум тысяч 50000$, а некоторые и по 70000-80000$ продавать будут.
А тут на тебе - 2000$ вложил, а уже через 2-3 недели все отбил. Бизнесменам такого и не снилось.
Вразумительного ответа на вопросы:
1) Почему они так дешево продают, если при цене в 3-5 раз дороже все равно бы много покупали?
2) Зачем вообще продавать, если можно майнить самим?
я так нигде и не видел. Одни пространственные рассуждения. Уже раз 10 это вопрос разжёвывался, ну сколько ж можно... Во-первых, это довольно высокая цена. Она вам кажется низкой СЕЙЧАС. А при повышении сложности всего в 20 раз, будет уже далеко не так весело и окупаемость станет задачей на много месяцев, если не больше. Во-вторых - известная древняя китайская мудрость гласит что на добыче золота разбогатели не старатели, а продавцы лопат. Чтобы окупить разработку и изготовление асиков, потребуется время (из-за роста сложности, особенно). И не только время, но ещё и выгодный курс, стабильность системы, бирж и куча других неизвестных. Не говоря уже о том, что это может быть прямой причиной смены алгоритма. Они, может, и не очень организованы, но они не идиоты и предпочтут отбить все вложения сразу, продажей, передав риск полностью на плечи покупателей. В-третьих асиков "немного" сделать нельзя - это будет стоить столько же, сколько и десятки тысяч чипов. И не каждая фабрика даже на это пойдёт, их ещё убедить надо что тебе действительно нужны чипы в тысячу раз дороже обычной цены. Разве что если только после изготовления выбросить 99.9% на помойку ? :) Даже на нас смотрели с сильным подозрением, когда мы договаривались о партии менее 100 000 - типа что несерьёзно это. |

i am. i've just setup tinyproxy as a workaround:
cgminer can connect over tcp/ipv6 to a ipv6 http proxy (http_proxy env var). Can you tell why are you using IPv6 instead of direct IPv4 connection ? I'm just curious about this. if the provider does not offer ipv6, then sixxs.net can be used to create a tunnel to the ipv6 world easily ('yum install aiccu' on fedora linux). sixxs.net will give you two /64 (one 2-node tunnel, one 2^64-node-net) and, if required, /48 (64k 2^64-node-networks) for free! There are some IPv6 subnets available, but I still have to research how to support it in our software setup. |

pit.deepbit.net seems unreachable via IPv6. any IPv6 plans? I had some ideas to use IPv6 as anti-ddos measure, but not tried it yet. Do you think that there are any IPv6 miners/users ? |

I can do that if I make a worker, but my "main" worker has no "name" so I can't click on it. Disable "advanced workers table" in your settings, then you'll have something to click. You can give it a tail. |

БФЛ это мелкая компания, и все очень скептически относятся к их анонсу.почему же они не показали видео?или подробности своей продукции, тесты?потому что это фикция) кто то уже писал что бфл уже делала анонс, а продукт оказался в 4 раза хуже, чем они обещали Видео и тесты нельзя показать пока продукта ещё нет. Изготовление кастомного чипа - это процесс на несколько месяцев, и то, если получится с первого раза. Так что с этим всё нормально. Да, продукт оказался местами в четыре раза хуже, но они умудрились всё же некоторым его доставить - а это уже достижение :) |

amount of connections varies -I get 12 connections as of right now, synchro wheel keeps rotating and saying that it's "catching up", 189160 blocks downloaded of transaction history. Last received block was generated 31 days ago. If the blocks number keeps increasing then you just have to wait until it caches up. |

I did that and I received a webpage with details (even for all the transactions after the day mentioned), Bitcoin app keeps saying that it is catching up. I tried getting a new address and updating it on the account as well about 5 days ago. I had transactions on the web and they still are not showing in the Bitcoin app. Ok, do you see the number of connections in your bitcoin client ? Should be more than 0 if shown. If you don't know how to rescan your wallet and you are sure that this is your address, you can back up your wallet.dat, delete everything in that folder (bitcoin's data and DB folder) except your wallet.dat and launch the client again, so it will only have the wallet.dat there. |

Most are, right? What % of all transactions are sent to a pubKey? Would be an interesting statistic. Most generation TXes are sent to pubkey. DeepBit's hot wallet also sends change to pubkey. |

I'm having problems getting my money transferred out. All is set to auto transfer as I get 2 coins. Last transfer that shown in my wallet is from 07/15 and is still not cleared, when on the website it says that there were money sent multiple (to be exact - 6) times after that. Using bitcoin 0.6 for my wallet, mining straight through deepbit with guiminer. Click on the date of that "not cleared" transaction. If you'll see a web page with transaction details then it means that those funds were successfully sent and the problem may be caused by your bitcoin client. Ensure that your wallet is synchronized with the network and the address is correct. If this still doesn't helps then you may need to start your wallet with --rescan key. |

Don't forget that there are only 2^160 different addresses, due to the hash160 step in making an address from a private key. You don't need to find the rich account's private key. Any private key with the same bitcoin address will let you spend its money. dooglus, Thanks!
