441  Local / India / Re: Reliance Jio plans to launch its own Cryptocurrency 'JioCoin' on: January 13, 2018, 11:52:49 PM
Being an Indian I feel really good that my countries top business groups are also understanding and realizing the crypto potential and want to expand their business in it. This move will create a positive prospect of common people and govt. towards crypto-currency n India.
442  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Forbidden In Islam? Why? on: January 13, 2018, 11:06:04 PM
I don't think so, BITCOIN is not forbidden in ISLAM. As far as I know, Income from INTEREST(LENDING and BORROWING) is totally forbidden but BITCOIN has nothing to do with it.
I think just like Govt., Islam should also review Rules on digital currency and the modern digital world, and come up with a clear statement. Smiley
443  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Trading Platform on: January 13, 2018, 11:00:41 PM
Hello guys,

1) Do you know if it's legal to open a trading platform where ONLY cryptos are traded? (BTC/LTC, BTC/ETH, ETH/LTC, etc.) Are there regulations?
Yes, It is more easy to open crypto-trading platform as there is less legal formalities are involved in such exchanges. In most of the countries, there are no set rules for opening such platforms. Even KYC/AML is not compulsory on such exchanges as BTC deposits are accepted there from worldwide.

2) What about a trading platform where cryptos and FIAT money are traded? (BTC/EUR, BTC/USD...)
You should check your country legality terms very keenly to open such exchange as in it REAL fiat money is involved. KYC/AML is mostly needed on such exchanges. Govt. Always have a keen eye on working of such exchanges.
444  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will You Still Get Into Bitcoin Even if the Gov't Declared it Illegal? on: January 13, 2018, 10:53:25 PM
No, I will totally detach myself from crypto-world if my country declares BTC or Crypto illegal. It is because I don't want to take risk of my life just to earn few Bitcoin which I can't even convert into my country's fiat as it is illegal. So there is no point of taking the risk just to be digitally rich which can put me in jail also.
445  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Valuation of Bitcoin on: January 13, 2018, 10:49:05 PM
It has been a debatable topic from the beginning that "what is the intrinsic value of BTC?" If we really go into the fact then we realize that there is nothing(Fiat, Diamonds, Stocks, bitcoin etc) have any intrinsic value. It is just the people trust and acceptance which make it worthy. Some people argue only Gold or Silver have the intrinsic value as its worth can be calculated on basis of its purity and a globally accepted mode of transaction in one way or another.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to Buy bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 10:17:49 PM
There is no best time to buy Bitcoin. Crypto-market is being very volatile from last few months so nobody can judge the bitcoin future movement at this point of time. If you are crypto-optimistic than this is the right time to buy BTC as bitcoin is quite low now close to $14000 only which is way low than its all-time high. I suggest you not to put all your investment at once and put at a various price level with an appropriate time interval, this will somehow diversify the risk if in case BTC goes further down.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP or XLM on: January 12, 2018, 10:02:39 PM
I prefer Stellar(XLM) over Ripple(XRP) because in my opinion, XLM is growing stage right now because of its amazing feature and at the time confirmation with reasonable txn fees. People are showing high acceptability towards XLM whereas XRP is always been known as anti-crypto coin because of its centralized feature. I think  XLM will soon touch $1, so invest now.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far can Bitcoin go? on: January 12, 2018, 10:00:44 PM
Technically speaking BITCOIN has no limits to grow. Increasing demand of BTC is the factor which leads to price surge of BTC. So till the time bitcoin demand keeps on increasing, the price will keep on surging. Bitcoin as in got a huge potential to grow because less than 5% population of the world are aware of bitcoin.
449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying from ICO or trading altcoin. on: January 12, 2018, 09:59:25 PM
Trading is comparatively less risky than buying ICO. ICO's, many times comes out to be a scam so your whole investment becomes zero, but it can also get you the best profits ever.
So same rule applies here also...More Risk, more profit. It is up to you how much risk you can carry and how good are you in analyzing the team and the ICO.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: January 11, 2018, 08:48:56 PM
If we talk about the long-term investment, my personal choice is ETHEREUM. I believe that it can give you much better return in 2018 as compared to BTC. ETH has been quite under-rated in last few years but the high transaction fees and long confirmation hours of BTC have made the users think about the alternative. So ETH seems to be the best solution to this problem so it will definitely flourish in 2018.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 11, 2018, 08:33:49 PM
Agree, BTC price surge make many people rose from ashes to kings. Their right decision to HODL bitcoin at the right time is the reason for their being rich today. They have taken high risk and showed confidence in BITCOIN when Bitcoin is not popular as a currency. More and more people are coming in this list as BTC price surges day by day.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy the dip, 2018 edition on: January 11, 2018, 08:29:31 PM
we are experiencing another beautiful dip because of some new FUD on the media and some weak hands panic selling their coins again.

so far the bottom has been tested at least twice in a major dip and another time in another small dip.

there is a pretty good chance that this time if we get over this dip, it will be the last dip that we are going to see this month.

#bullish

Don't know whether it is a Dip or beginning of an end of cryptos. Some people believe that it is an opportunity to buy and HODL, on the other hand, other says that its time to book the profit and exit the market as market is going crash after govt. intervention toward regulation.

456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 07, 2018, 11:33:11 PM
Not only him many early Bitcoin users have lost their wallet keys and now their funds are dead. The fact is that Early Bitcoin users never thought that Bitcoin will gain that much price ever. some of them have just bought it for FUN purpose and never recognized its potential as a currency or payment mode. You will be amazed to know that only 75-78% of total supply is in circulation rest is either lost or cold stored.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: January 07, 2018, 11:23:51 PM
I believe that everyone here has done same worst mistake in gambling that is lost everything after winning just because of greed. Even I lost the won money in greed of winning more and end with ashes in hand. I think Lossing emotional control is the biggest reason for losing rather than your bad luck.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 07, 2018, 11:17:38 PM
I really do not encourage ripple buying as it is controversial with its concept of centralized banking.
If Ripple becomes no. 1 with largest market cap, prices will crash like hell as people will lose trust in decentralised crypto-market. This means that centralization won against decentralized systems. So, think twice before you invest! and stop buying RIPPLE.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: We broke $17k price on Bitcoin will $20k be next? on: January 07, 2018, 11:11:19 PM
yes...BITCOIN will soon create a new record price. I think $15000 is the new base price for BTC and it trying to grow steadily to achieve the new record price. I expect BTC at $20k within next 15 days.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 07, 2018, 11:02:34 PM
Bitcoin is gaining a lot of popularity and people are getting aware of it but I don't think it could be known to everyone within a decade or two.
A lot of countries economy is quite backward and people are not much literate in such country so you can't really expect them to understand Bitcoin. Even Old age people say above 60yrs are not much tech. friendly so it is really difficult for them to adopt this change. So I don't think it feasible to use BITCOIN as a wholesome transaction unit all around the world at this point of time.
