441  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: September 13, 2017, 02:32:08 PM
Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

[1] http://www.marketwatch.com/story/bye-bitcoin-china-to-ban-trading-of-virtual-currencies-2017-09-11
Banning of Bitcoin exchanges with the premises of China is a bad scenario because as far as we all know, and we can observe, the current price rate of bitcoin is now experiencing a real hard scenario in which the price dumps real fast that is really alarming and has a bad effect to the bitcoin users earning that we take hold and save for a long period of time.
442  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 12, 2017, 11:49:20 PM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
I agree with you. It is really true that bitcoin is not just for educated and knowledgeable individuals because we people do have different knowledge that we apply into different scenario. We do also have the talent of educated reasoning even though we do not have a certain background about that. We all have the capability to work into bitcoin since it was not complicated to limit the usage for educated individuals
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 10, 2017, 11:58:46 PM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

Maybe yes because I know that my salary can grow up into a larger count as time passes by. But I still prefer real money to be my salary since in my country, fiat is the only accepted type of payment to purchase everything though it can be exchange bitcoin into fiat, I think it is still essential receiving real money as a salary.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 10, 2017, 11:02:18 PM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
I think both. Because the preference to say that they are claiming that bitcoin can improve their country's economy because we all know that its price is really fast rising that makes many people got attracted with it. As long as there are many people using bitcoin in one coutry, I think it will be possible to improve the economy of one country if its people will use it to improve their own country.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: September 10, 2017, 10:04:51 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Well in my country, the economic status can be somehow that bad because one of our three major islands is always experiencing war and with this, the economic sector in that place also dumps because of the destruction brought by the war. But with our national government being responsible with this, they still extend their hands working on it to at least make our economic sector grow despite of the circumstances that make our country still alive and continue to be globally competitive.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: September 10, 2017, 02:23:41 PM
Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

Well, the reason why bitcoin is volatile is because bitcoin's main characteristic that I usually see and have observed since the day that I have got engaged with it was bitcoin is a fast growing cryptocurrency that is really competitive internationally which was now widely use across the world. Its volatility was caused by the sudden changes happening in the market wherein the demands of the consumers and potential investors varies within a period of time.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: September 09, 2017, 04:21:25 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
It was really awful. Maybe if I have already heard it those times, maybe I am a multi millionaire now. You somewhat lost the opportunity of becoming one of those lucky individuals that get rich with bitcoin because you did not even try working on it. It is still not your fault because those times bitcoin price rate is just low and its popularity is not that high compared to the current times.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: September 09, 2017, 03:46:27 PM
There is no need of a pushing, let it grow on the gradual manner as it's now. If this needs to be promoted already several advertising might have been done, but in reality the growth is enormous and trustful through word of mouth rather than other means of promotion.
Indeed. There is really no need for bitcoin to be pushed just to become a legal currency used worldwide. Because itself is the one attracting its own investors and consumers to get engage with it. No other reason to force and push bitcoin into the people because they will soon realize and see its importance to mankind bringing its benefits to many people.
449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: September 08, 2017, 09:47:56 PM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
If you were thinking about the past event or action you have done, surely many will say that you have done a big mistake because if you know that bitcoin is a continuous growing cryptocurrency, keeping it is a good thing to do. You have already lost the opportunity of getting rich because that quantity of bitcoin you recently have really cost that much. But still it was now late to blame you since you do not know bitcoin's importance those times.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 08, 2017, 09:27:54 PM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
If I will be able to accept that kind of amount, I will be surely get into shock because it already cost too much for just a gift. I will surely hold and save it for better because I know its potential of growing and since I do not have anything to spend it with, I will just save it and wait for a moment that will trigger me to sell it or exchange it into a real money.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good investment you can do with BTC? on: September 08, 2017, 04:49:13 PM
Hello everyone!

So lets someone has some bitcoins maybe worth about 100 to 500$. What could be the investment do where the bitcoin holder is quite new to the crypto currency world and want to get guaranteed profit from the investment.

I know that holding bitcoins are good, but what are other good investments you can make with bitcoins?

Would like to know what you guys about this.

Thanks!
I think having an initial holding just like what you have stated needs more improvement for it to become truly useful. There are lots of ways people that use bitcoin usually do to gain bitcoin. In my case, I usually used up my bitcoin earning to invest into various types of alternative coins which have different price rate compared to bitcoin but I can assure that I can really gain through it. You can also do some sort of buy and sell other coins for you to gain and maximize your coin holdings in your account.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: September 05, 2017, 10:54:19 PM
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.
Yes you have just done a nice way of gaining. Which is buying bitcoin on the time of dump is the best strategy of gaining a profit because you can buy it at a lower price so that when the price rate pumps, you can surely have regain what you have spent on buying that can enable you to buy larger quantity the next time the price rate dumps and just continue the cycle of buying and selling which can lead you to expand your bitcoin capacity which is really beneficial
453  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 03, 2017, 01:41:52 PM
I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
For you to be able to decide whether you will buy bitcoin or sell it, assure that you are always aware and updated on the sudden changes on the bitcoin price rate which can be seen on the market.  Be observant on the bitcoin price movement for you to be able to decide what move will you do for your own benefits and purpose. Just always remember to get into the flow wherein you should buy when the price dump and also sell when the bitcoin price pumps.
454  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 11:44:35 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin
You do not have to quit into your real job and just focus into bitcoin. Actually, you can do work on both at the same time by applying proper time management to cater both jobs. Better think first that your real job is the first thing you have wherein you get your primary source of income and bitcoin just serves as a back up or secondary source of your income. Also if you quit working on your job, how can you be so sure that you can earn continuous income with bitcoin? It is better if you will work on both because you can have double income and extra profit that can be gained from storing up your bitcoin. Working on both will be more beneficial than quiting on one and just focusing on the other.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 03, 2017, 07:48:11 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
It will be beneficial if we will educate many people especially the young minds on proper usage of modern technology and transforming their long time surfing with internet into a beneficial earning of income online. But I think there is no need for bitcoin to be established in college curriculum just to educate them about bitcoin. Colleges have their mature minds to think what is the best for them if they are going to use their computer course of essential purpose. Using bitcoin and studying it to the course related to computer will be good and can be also good if do not put into college curriculum. Just let them decide and manage their own skills if they are going to engage into bitcoin or not.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: September 03, 2017, 06:49:53 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.
Indeed. Bitcoin's price rare is really fast rising because bitcoin's popularity and growth is also fast approaching. I still cannot believe that it can surpass the highest rating mineral which is gold for just a couple of time. It is really true that nothing can stop bitcoin from continuous rise because as we observe, for just a couple of time, it had already approach its highest price rate since the time it was established and can furthermore approach higher price in the future.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: September 02, 2017, 10:01:04 PM
I know that for some of you, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account using wallets like coinbase but this feature is not available for many countries.
Since its not available in my country too I always withdraw my bitcoins from my address to payza then from payza to payoneer (by using exchangers).

How do you guys withdraw your btc?
In my case here in our country, we have been using a certain wallet account in which we have a free converter of bitcoin to our national currency in which we can have it cash out only into a specific bank and some business franchise that offers bitcoin operation service so that we can turn our virtual money into fiat. They are just going to send a 16 digit code into our mobile number and 4 digit e-cash code for verification that we are the only one knowing how and where to cash out our own money.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 30, 2017, 09:48:11 PM
Weeks ago, I am discussing Bitcoin to my sister and my future brother-in-law (then) When they got married recently, both of them were unemployed and have been trying to get a job immediately after their marriage. Up until now they have no luck. My sister then decided to talk to me about how do I earn Bitcoins. I gladly explained it to her and then she decided to do it too. She was so happy that she is already earning bitcoin and had some extra budget while they are both unemployed. And now, she is so eager to learn more how to earn more coins.

Being unemployed drove her into engaging to Bitcoins. Maybe some people are like this. They grab Bitcoin when they are in need of money. And since that these people are now engaged in Bitcoin, I am sure that they will stay in Bitcoin and treat it as an investment even though they will have a decent paying jobs in the future.
For an instance, Yes. Being unemployed really drove people to get engage into profitable and beneficial things that they can think will help them to earn and gain an income no matter what thing they have to take. Unemployment of a certain individual can result to the abundance of source of income to get their financial assistance. Ever since bitcoin has been established, the main feature that attracts many individuals to get engage with bitcoin cryptocurrency is that it provides an income online which is a solution to have an income even you do not have a stable job to work on. By jist having an access of internet connection and a modern gadget, you can already work into bitcoin to earn your income online.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 27, 2017, 03:52:09 PM
After there is a BCC can the bitcoin survive or bitcoin will be much more up the price after this
What do you think about this?
Yes of course. Bitcoin can still survive after the split that happened last August 1 wherein BitcoinCash (BCC) was created. Because bitcoin despite of the various cryptocurrency that comes out still remains unbeaten and still the fast growing cryptocurrency to be established and used worldwide. As long as many people are still engaging and getting involve with bitcoin, there is no reason for bitcoin not to survive the circumstances provided by the ups and downs also brought by the threat of the other cryptocurrencies namely alternate cryptocurrency.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 27, 2017, 08:57:50 AM
Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink
Probably, the creation of digital fiats can happen if and only if the technological factors affecting the type of currency will be put up into a higher level enabling many people to have a wide access to online fiat which can be in terms of cryptocurrency. What I mean is if the world with the collaboration of the national government will increase the capacity and capability of internet everyone can have an easy access if they will create digital fiat. But I think it will take time and too much work for the innovation of transforming the society into a cashless society because there are lots of issues to be cater than paying attention of putting the world into that innovative and advance world.
