441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOBT]✔NOBT Hybrid PoW+PoS ◕◡◕ Zerocoin Protocol - AIRDROP on: July 20, 2017, 07:42:12 AM
I think the only way to get nobt biw is by mining. The gao between buy and sell on the exchange is far to large.
I am glad to see it is doing well. Let's see that sell order pick up.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ★★ (ICO) ★★ [EXON] ★★ OREXON A VIRTUAL WORLD GAMES ★★ on: July 20, 2017, 02:01:32 AM
This looks so cool. I love that you can invest in a game that you play. Is this game going to be like micro machines and you race around your living room  Shocked Or will it be more of a collectible type game.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🅱 BITOK [BTK] ▶ ▶ ▶ Bounty, campaign on: July 20, 2017, 01:32:38 AM
I watched the price of this coin falling all the way from 1 btc to 4000 sats, the dev should do something to arrest the situation otherwise the coin will die and that is if it has not already dead.

What is the current payout of the avatar campaign?

Yep the coin is now completely broken. Even has investment on yobit investbox to try to save it. I have never seen a price plummet so quickly before.
Hopefully things will go better but I have a feeling they won't.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: July 19, 2017, 05:17:27 PM
I think ethereum had always been a good investment. Maybe now is a good time to buy and wait till it goes up in price like it recently did to cause gpus to go up in price and even had people buying many second hand ones. Might also be worth noting if you can get some gpus before then as well.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 19, 2017, 04:22:44 PM
After a segment, and the price goes up high, maybe it will also be the beginning of the era of bitcoin currencies. Well, in addition to making the price go up, people will also start using bitcoin in the real world, I hope this development can have a positive effect.

What has the price got to do with it being used or not ? Price doesn't matter. If you want a payment processor you need stability and reliance. You also need it to be supported. If there are more places that support, there will be more options on where and what to spend your bitcoin on.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 04:18:31 PM
Quote
... the price fall is more than the rise

WRONG.
you need to look at the bigger picture.
right now you are just looking at a short period of time where bitcoin price has came down a little. if you look at a couple of months you can see a rise from ~$880 to $2900 and right now it is sitting between $2200-$2400.

even if it falls more it will still be much much higher than the couple of months ago.

with that said, did you get your answer to why people hold bitcoin

What never ceases to amaze me are the amount of people who can't think of of what you just said.  It's really quite obvious but apparently not... Lol. I don't know why people can't be patient. In a few years time it will be worth much more so even buying now at a loss is profitable. Yes you lose short term. But look long term. It's way worth it. Remember when Bitcoin was I think 800 ? Then went to $240 ? So many people dumped. Then look what happened ? It was over 800 in the next year and a bit or two years.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many country recently accept btc? on: July 19, 2017, 03:24:38 PM
Umm dude.... Since when did any country accept any currency ? What you buying from a country ? Guns ? Arms deal ? You don't buy from a country you buy from individuals residing within the country. Please get it right. Well I guess you could buy oset of w country if you consider buying land there.

Many countries now accept bitcoins. Bitcoin is also banned in some countries. Im mentioning them below

Bitcoin legally accepted in:-

U.S.
Japan
Estonia
Sweden
Canada
Germany
U.K.
Finland

Bitcoin Banned in:-

Bangladesh
Bolivia
Ecuador

Bitcoin is also banned in China, Vietnam i guess.
BIP148 will also affect some countries on using bitcoin perhaps.

Bitcoin is legal in much more countries than you listed.

Also, it is interesting, how can Bitcoin be banned in China and at the same time China is among top users of Bitcoin? Also Bitcoin is not illegal in Vietnam.

Maybe check out the list from the link below, might be helpful:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

Facebook and countless others media is also "banned" in China yet they still is it. You can't keep someone doing what they want.
448  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 19, 2017, 03:20:29 PM
I use electrum as my main savings wallet and blockchain.info as a spending wallet. I use to just use block chain.info but when I bought more Bitcoin and started collecting I wanted control of my private keys so I made the switch and I'm very happy. It's nice to have a fully functional and safe wallet that doesn't need the blockchain on your PC but rather connects to it online. Very clever.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: July 19, 2017, 03:17:56 PM
Well considering I just purchased some printer ink to be delivered to my door I would say it certainly is very useful. I have bought a heat gun diablo3 overwatch boxed editions. I have bought art supplies and electronics. I have even paid for PC parts with Bitcoin. So yes it works it's fast an amazing. It's much wuxker then paying by bank and way less of s headache.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 03:15:19 PM
Bitcoin is a current not a job. What are you talking about ? Bitcoin has opened opportunity for new careers yes but Bitcoin itself does nothing it is merely a payment method. New jobs emerge since new things are needed in a world where digital currency king.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 03:12:45 PM
Simple. Hodl hodl hodl !! Sell off small amounts when needed but not too often because what I sell today will be worth mutiples of that in the future. So I plan to always have Bitcoin at hand so in the future I don't have to worry about already having soent all my bitcoins because I will always stay over 65%  Also but then I might not even have to trade for fiat if I can pay with Bitcoin strait.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 19, 2017, 03:08:40 PM
Never fear bitcoin is near !! With Bitcoin you shouldn't be collecting of you get scared Everytime a little bump comes.
With investments you need to hold on. I think the price might drop once more as we reach 1 August. I'm never selling. Why sel nowl when in years time I can be rich ?
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 03:07:03 PM
Put them on an island somewhere in the middle of nowhere ? Lol dude the way you say that. We need them to be our hard working fiat slaves.  Grin

455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many posts about what is wrong with the alt coin market lately on: July 06, 2017, 05:50:26 PM
I think people just enjoy complaining to be honest. I wouldn't listen to most people unless they were being none biased which is rare I guess. Most people have alternative agenda's. Maybe causing FUD for a good coin then buying it themselves. Or trying about a bad coin sayings it's good just to dump the useless coin onto sn unsuspecting noob. It's very important to think for ourselves. This is why I say people love to complain. It's easier then making a change themselves.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 06, 2017, 05:40:35 PM
Big risk big reward. I don't think Icos are all scams. If you get burnt by one bow you believe them all to be the same ? If one man wrongs you do you now believe every man you meet shsoo do the same ? No !! You must think you must calculate and decide and take time and be patient. Sometimes it's better to wait the ico out and buy in later. Other times it's just simply better to begin mining asap. It would depends on the coin and it's features.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did I made a good investment? on: July 06, 2017, 05:37:22 PM
I think xmr is good long-term. Doge has always been Kong term but this huge price hike makes me a little concerned it may crash. Doge has been newr the same price for a very long time with small ups and downs. Bkaxkcoin is good long-term yes. Look at the graph on an exchange you will see. Bytecoin the same. Good too. The rest I can't help you with, I really have no idea.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 August 2017, Does everyone think it is effect to bitcoin price or not? on: July 06, 2017, 04:50:31 PM
I don't think it will effect the price. Some say it will make or break Bitcoin. Same was said about the halving. Everything will be fine the world won't end. I doubt it will even fork. Just to be safe though take your coins out if all exchanges to your in wallet where you in the private key.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 06, 2017, 04:31:52 PM
While you were working about nothing sigrcoin climbed like hell. Oh no never dogecoin have a future ? Oh no never. Don't buy digr it's so crap. Ahahaha makes me laugh how much crap people talk about altcoins. Too bad you never bought doge and stopped worrying then you would have made a killing. Oh well let fear lead you !
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 06, 2017, 04:11:45 PM
For me Bitcoin is freedom and liberation from my countries useless currency.
I can now spend money online with a million and one things holding me back creating problems for me. It's liberating.
