441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscars to include Fan-Favorite Film via Twitter on: February 24, 2022, 10:02:00 PM
~snip~
For a very long time there has been a disconnect with what the public thinks it is a good movie and what the academy think it is a good movie.

So it is obvious this is an attempt by the academy to try to lower down that disconnect that people have with the academy, but personally I do not think this is going to be successful because as time has passed the award ceremony has gotten more and more boring to the point that almost anything is more entertaining than watching a bunch of millionaires giving themselves some awards among themselves.

That's right, and the Oscars team is probably fully aware of that. Hence this new way of getting the active participation and involvement of the audience and the general public.

The Oscars statistics in terms of viewers and public interest hasn't been encouraging for the past years. And I agree that the ceremony is getting boring. That's probably the number one reason why people are not interested. Who cares which award goes to whom?

I just hope this new innovation won't backfire especially because it is openly prone to abuse. And when gambling or money is involved, the flaws of the particular way this new award is to be won will definitely be exploited.

This initiative will also create awareness about the film industry and what movies have been shown in the past year. Because, honestly, I am off-track about the list of movies. Maybe because it has been about couple of years that I haven't entered in a cinema. This award we will see also what is the current taste of movie fans. Because we are also evolving even in the film industry. So let us see what is the current type of film that the mass wants.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Metaprofit, who had ideas about this platform? on: February 24, 2022, 09:07:32 PM
Do they have a website? I can't search that website or maybe it's already terminated or that service has already be gone now. If that's the sign, maybe you should stop thinking about that platform.
Because it's no longer existing based on I've searched, there's no website that exists and no seo for it. Or if I'm wrong, that amount you afford to lose is better to be kept.
This is their website link that I can provide here now  ( http://metaprofit.pro/ ) and upon checking it would be directed to your personal wallet once you're ready to stake your bnb. Technically they've been using binance smart chain platform, maybe there's some website similar to it so I've share the exact term used. As far as my friend who recommend me to this earning scheme, his minimum staking amount was just 0.05 bnb which can be affordable to lose somehow.
I think this is almost the same as a ponzi scheme with a daily profit of 1% then what is the main thing in this project product is it only necessary to spread referral links so that more and more people join?
For me this is not a real project but will certainly take advantage of the situation on the advantages it has to offer I guess you should do more research on this, for me this project is not really impressive.
People do not think that 1% daily is a lot of money which is why they keep falling into those scams, but in fact it is huge, even the richest people alive cannot maintain that kind of growth, maybe they can do so for a weeks or even months when everything is going their way, but it is absolutely impossible to do so consistently and anyone that could do so would soon enough become the richest person alive even with a small amount of capital, so do not believe anyone that says they can obtain such a high level of profits every single day.

For some people, they do want to take the risk. If you do have 0.05BNB to spare, and want to try this service, that's fine. But don't blame anyone if you will lose that amount for nothing. They have no feedback yet on trustpilot so don't know how many users have been using this platform. Because checking the site provided above, there's no history of withdrawals and subscription yet on their page. Or don't know if it will only appear once you connect your wallet?
443  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐BrawlBets⭐ Fight Predictions ✅ 64% Win rate ✅ 2.3+ odds ✅ New Autobet Feature on: February 24, 2022, 07:34:00 PM
Is 64% really a great win rate? Well, with 2.3+ odds, it's probably decent. But for betting in cricket, if I would record my last IPL bets, I guess I would be far higher than 64% though the odd were kinda low; most were from 1.80 to 2.3/2.4 zone. I guess I should have my service on betting tips created LOL.

64% Winrate with 2.3+ odds has gotten us roughly 40% ROI profit or 40 units in only 22 bets. Which has been 5 fights.

Say you do $100 a unit. You'd currently be up around $4.000 since January 21st-Feburary 20th (our last fight). A month of bets.

Let's say you only do $20 units or a bankroll of $2,000. You'd be up $800 well more than the 40$ price tag.

Curious here. I am not a member of your discord server but can you disclose how many active members so far are in your channel? Also, how many people are currently subscribe with your services, you can give rough estimate of numbers (like 50-100, if you don't want to give exact numbers). From your stats on your site, I think, it is too early to tell about the real profitability of your services. Though you are doing these for years as you mentioned. Maybe, we need more published bets not only 22. I suggest you continue to publish your bets in the next coming months so people can see your performance.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: February 23, 2022, 10:42:07 PM
There are people buying and selling bitcoin, there are people investing in assets using bitcoin, bitcoin is already legal in a whole nation, bitcoin is being legislated in many countries, bitcoin is a legal asset in many countries, but perhaps the most important thing is that there are people using bitcoin and that generates something very valuable "trust", if you do not have it there is no problem it is easy to invest in something else.

I believe one simple logic to show that bitcoin has real value to other people is to show somebody that you are converting btc to your fiat currency. How can they not believe if btc has no value if they are actually seeing that btc has fiat value. It is understandable that some people are hesitant because they feel they will be holding an asset that can easily go away, which is true. They will be holding keys to their wallet and somehow for traditional users it is quite scary.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTLLR] PoS-Node Coin | 98% APY on Crex24 | Mutual Betting Platform on: February 23, 2022, 04:46:08 AM
Hey guys..just joined the discord server, I had a feeling this was going to be the next big thing after doge and Shib😄 and yeah I'm sure of it now👍after seeing the efforts made by the team so far😉✌
Keep it up guys.we're with you now and we will be with you always.

Are you sure with that? I have seen this betting platform a long while now and it seems they are not getting much interest from gamblers here. But looking at their site, their betting dashboard is active but the online chat is not. So don't know if they are real players or not. Their btllr coin also has no more buy orders at crex. Can you enlighten us what they are planning to do this year, for those who are not members of their discord server?
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only Small % Of Tokens/Coins Survive on: February 22, 2022, 11:28:00 PM
yes, it is very difficult to analyze and predict it. sometimes coins/tokens that are thought to be good turn out to be bad, sometimes vice versa (what are considered bad turn out to be good). Only a few end well (survive).

I've also heard statements that in the years to come there will be some old projects being revived, but I forgot the source.

You can't trust some sources stating that specific projects are going to be revived as you don't know the real score in terms of developments. Unless, we are already seeing the progress of what's going on. It is hard to trust especially if you will spend money to invest on those projects. I remember when ERC20 tokens were first introduced. It was like one project after another project was being launched daily. Some who got lucky, earned a lot from those tokens. However, it is true that majority of those tokens were long dead and abandoned already. And that solidifies the reliability of bitcoin. Because up until now, it is still in the top position of crypto market.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: February 22, 2022, 10:29:27 PM
As if there's not enough tokens and nfts floating around. And those ugly nfts, why do they have to be so ugly? Just keep at what you are doing. If you are starving simply coz crypto prices are low, then you must have done something wrong LOL.

This is what my take here also. If you will just add another crappy project or useless NFT item, better not attempt of doing it. Because not doing it, means, you are saving some poor people who will naively buy your worthless work. But I can agree if you are a talented artist and just waiting the right timing to publish your masterpiece. Please don't another trash item or project in crypto space.
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: February 22, 2022, 09:28:38 PM

I just had my first ever withdrawal from here, and even though the situation wasn't anything important, the staff was incredible. I contacted them twice, since I never worked with them before I wanted to make sure if I was doing the right thing, and both times they helped me with lightning speed. First of all there is a thing about having a live support, that shows huge confidence. Look around you and to all the casinos we use, and all of them have mail support that respond to you within 24 hours and sometimes even longer, and evne the great ones have like a few hours at least. Whereas gamdom trusts itself enough to have live chat and they are amazing at it as well. Both times my question was answered (they weren't problems, I just had questions thats all) and they replied to me within seconds and all of it was over under a minute. Great job, great place.

This, I can attest as well that they are very prompt in attending your concerns via live support. And this is why I am not seeing complaints from this casino despite not having active rep in this forum. Because if you are a player of the casino, you can easily contact their live support and they will assist you accordingly, no need to post here as they can directly assist your problem. And if users will notice, there's no existing issue on this site, which already speaks volumes for them. So for those users who do want to play in gamdom, I believe you are in good hands. It is not because I am promoting them but my experience is telling me that they are treating their players, whether you are a small or big one, all the same.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 21, 2022, 11:23:32 PM
Trust is a big word. If you are playing those games at those reputable sites already, then assume that everything is fair.
Trust is indeed a big word on which as a user you would really be needing to trust up a particular platform on which you do make out some deposits and just part of self awareness and common sense you would choose up on whats the current best platform or site to have on which you do play specially with live games even though it isn't proven its provably fair but with having that current reputation that it
has then you would definitely say that you could trust this one out.

Based from the poll, gamblers here are not trusting this kind of live games. And yet, many gamblers are playing this game. So if you don't trust this game, why are you playing?  Tongue So yes, for me, if you have doubt about the provable fairness of the game, better choose a trustworthy casino. At least, they are tested with a lot of players and if they are running shady operations, it will be expose by users.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 10:26:06 PM
I checked the internet for his recorded gambling addiction and it goes back to 2018 we don't know if he is already gambling in his early years as a rapper, but we have many cases of rappers into gambling like Snoop Dog and 50 Cent they even have songs about their gambling addiction, and Drake is not the only one who posted his winning, Snoop Dog posted his one pound marijuana he won in the Canelo - Alvarez fight in his instagram account.
What happens is that it is difficult to know if such a person has been able to beat their addictions, after all many think that in order to beat an addiction completely then you need to completely stay away from it, but there are some people that can control their addictions to the point they can do so responsibly, one example of this is alcohol consumption, so while such a huge bet may seem like a sign that he is not over it, at the same time he earns so much money that if this was the only bet he made during the whole year then this is not a sign of a gambling addiction but of someone that has finally controlled his impulses.
There's no such thing about unlimited funds on which i he do continue to make big bets like this and losses then it would surely affect his financial state for long term.We dont even know if he's on profitable side or not

which we couldnt able to make out conclusions if he's doing well but in overall its none of our business on how they would be spending out their money. They have earned it and they do have the full rights
on what they would gonna do.Addiction or typical a hobby then its their choice to make.

Absolutely true! We need to mind our own business when it comes to money spending. Whatever they do to their funds, is on their own accord. But one thing that is good for this post is the promotion of the crypto casino, stake. Whether paid or not, that would give them further boost regarding their reputation among gamblers. That can also tell that they can handle big bets as well as big winnings.
451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Summary of My Bitcoin Journey So Far on: February 21, 2022, 09:19:45 PM
OPI checked your prfile and yes you registered your account back in 2017
but there is minimal activity since then.

I see you offered that writing service on BCT butyou dont have any trust
record built up. Can you post some samples of your work here, you may be
able to get some new custom?

You are correct if anyone has a talent they can offer those talents and try
to get payment in Bitcoin, it makes total sense, its acvtually earning Bitcoin
without KYC or AML.

This is what I am curious about also. Can he put the link of his blog site if that's fine with him? Also, what kind of writing service he had done in the past? Articles dedicated to the project? As he said, he earned thousands of dollars by his writing service. What kind of write-ups he is doing to earn that amount? Because what I am thinking is that there are Articles Campaign in most bounty programs, and if you are lucky with the payment, you can indeed get good money out of it.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📣 [ANN] BILL-MILL.COM The first anonymous tokenized Search Engine. on: February 20, 2022, 11:41:02 PM
As stated in the OP, this has been in the development stage since 2017. So what are the main bottlenecks why the team can't move this to another level of adoption? Let us give a scenario here, how are you going to attract brave users to use your search engine? Because as a brave user, you are earning BAT rewards monthly. Though it is not much but they are already listed in several exchanges. To what timeline are you going to deploy your search engine, as per roadmap it is 2022 and so on. Wonder if you can launch it this year because it has been like 5 years in the making already. But you can prove me wrong.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 10:55:25 PM
With gradual process from learning and reading in the forum, I have come to full conclusion that Bitcoin is not here to compete with the banks and take over bank's,any with such mentality has to shift his/her focus from it.
Bitcoin gives you financial freedom, it solves a problem banks aren't, Bitcoin gives you extra profits.
It's after equal rights and freedom, a true fan of freedom will always choose bitcoin.

Yes, let us admit the fact that most of our financial transactions still need the intervention of traditional banks. Going into bitcoin or crypto is another option for financial freedom. But surpassing the position of traditional banks is not yet in the horizon or will possibly not happen in our lifetime. Some people are trying hard to look at the thought that bitcoin can overpower the fiat system, but the truth is, would not be a simple path to take. The decentralization aspect is one major feature of bitcoin why most governments don't want this currency. But they are accepting because they have no choice as it can exist even without their mandate.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best free Arbitrage site on: February 20, 2022, 09:33:19 PM
Thanks for the help in advance
Indeed doing arbitrage bets, it can be said that the risk is lower compared to doing other system sports betting methods, arbitrage people without knowledge of sports or mathematics can make arbitrage bets.

OP is referring to Arbitrage trading, not arbitrage betting, which I think are two different things  Wink

One thing I would advise OP is that arbitrage trading is shitty these days unless if you got lots of money in your accounts in different exchanges and a very good bot. Don't waste your time and money.

Arbitrage trading has several factors to consider before one can go into this venture. Because most of the time, the percent profit is only small and it will be consumed mostly by fees involved. Unless, you have a very good amount of bankroll to do this thing. So if you have only small amount to use in this activity, better not to go in this route. Trading fees and withdrawal fees will give you the headache on this. Aside from that, it is time consuming. And for very small profit. You need to assess if it is worth exploring this activity.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: February 20, 2022, 08:27:53 PM
Watching youtube is only good to learn TA and usually channels like that have a small following. Cryptoface has been doing lives with trading tho dunno is his thing he uses good, never tried it.

Stop it! That's not true!
I have watched great bitcoin educational content creators that dish out the best content every week and 2 times weekly, the likes of Coin Bureau, Red Panda mining, Bits Be Trippin, and the list continues. They have plenty of subscribers and I must say they are doing very fine especially Coin Bureau is always more of fundamental details than technical and he has about 1.95M subscribers.

If people used their brains a little more, then they wouldn’t waste time on such nonsense, which is really just a waste of time. These people just use what technology allows them to do and make decent money on it, and I wouldn't spend a second of my time watching something like that, even if it's the only thing that can be watched.

The worst of them are those who promote everything they are paid for, regardless of the fact that they know that it will cause direct damage to their viewers. One only has to go back a few years and see how they lied about how Bitcoin came to an end, and that some bitcoin tr(c)ash becomes a new big thing.

They usually end up with thousands of subscribers because they upload what would get them more subscribers, and they constantly complain when Youtube removes their videos. If it weren't for the fact that the purge occasionally affects those who provide excellent content, I would prefer that shadow be added to their video rather than eliminated. We need to tell people what they need to know, not what they want to hear.

Viewers should know how to spot trash videos because a lot of them are indeed paid if they are promoting specific coin or token. But if you find those channels which discuss matter-of-fact about crypto trading, not giving you false hope about earning profits, then, you need to bookmark them. A lot have overwhelming presentation in terms of profit generation because most of them are sponsored. Remember, there are YT bounties out there. So what they do is promote the project to the extent of giving unreasonable returns to trap potential buyers. Be cautious on those videos.
456  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout + $10,000 Prize for BET Free on: February 20, 2022, 06:55:32 PM
I see that round 16 competition is available but it's harder than ever with mix of international matches, world cup qualifications, Championship and League One matches.
Whoever manages to win one of this competition lottery and $10,000 will be a genius or a very lucky person, but even $100 is not a bad reward Wink

The choice of matches is more diverse so the difficulty level is higher, but it is not impossible to get any prize it's just really luck that can help to be able to get the prize.
Maybe Betja can re-post in games and rounds so that BTT members can get double prizes if they can guess the match correctly at most.

We are already in round 20, and I am trying my luck. It is free so no worries if you lost. But I noticed that there's no payment yet for round 19. Only 3 got the highest scores of 7. At least there's something that we can look forward on this site. However, any plans on holding their own campaign in the forum? But I understand if it is not their priority especially if they are getting enough players to sustain the site.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 26, 2022 on: February 20, 2022, 05:31:06 PM
And it looks like Jerwin is very sharp already, but the odds are not yet there, I'm looking for a knock out win by Ancajas.

He really prepared for this fight, but his opponent is for sure better than his sparring partner, however, seeing that he is in condition and he has the power to knockout an opponent, that already makes me confident that he will give a good fight and he will win the fight.

Taking the hard time to build good stamina, I go with him too. The chance of winning is high but bookies still don't have any line for this fight; we need to wait for whatever available odd for Ancajas, 1 more week and maybe before the fight start bookies or crypto gambling website will provide.

Can't predict if how bookies will give Ancajas for sure. He will be the favorite here,.

aside from ML rounds or any available alternative option will do.. Roll Eyes Cool

Bookies for sure will favor Ancajas here as he will defend the title for the 10th time. That's a long one to hold this belt. But Ancajas is not taking this lightly as his training camp said that he is well-prepared and conditioned already. Maybe the reason why bookies are not listing this yet because it is in the flyweight division. But for fiat bookies, maybe we will see this soon. Crypto bookies may come later maybe at least couple of days before the event.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of Bitfinex hack on the economy on: February 20, 2022, 01:53:02 PM
What impact do you think this will have on bitcoin price if the total seizure were back into circulation?
The effect may be there if those who get the Bitcoin back to sell it simultaneously, but it seems like they are experienced traders who will very likely try to influence the market to be able to make the price of BTC go up in order to get more profits compasate, all this time because they can not use their BTC to trade long enough.

I don’t think that even technically it will be possible to put up such a volume for sale on official exchanges. Again - do not forget about regulatory risks, I'm sure exchanges have a set of rules that came from regulators on how to behave in some situations, including the release of significant volumes to the market, which can lead to pronounced negative consequences. Account blocking "for trial" - and the drain was stopped ..

I don't think it is a smart move to sell it all at once as it will create a red flag to the exchange that they will use. If we are talking about the remaining funds from the hack. But if we are talking about the seized funds, usually, the government will put that into auction. It may create a dump for that period, but afterwards, the market will just go back to normal as I have stated in my previous post. This is what we have seen in previous auctions. So for those who want to get some cheaper satoshis, they can keep up with the dates of the possible auction for those seized BTCs. But right now, it seems more investigations are needed on this case.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 19, 2022, 11:59:50 PM
Well, I smell that this news will lead to massive adoption and now there are too many countries that have been followed by the steps of El Salvador which is the first county to announce bitcoin as a legal tender. In this case, bitcoin will become regulated by most countries but they don't expect a full regulation on it because there are few people that can still use hiding their identities behind the decentralized exchange to cover their ass.
However, we should be thankful that most government now will not hate bitcoin anymore.

If neighboring countries will see the improvement in the economy of El Salvador, there's no doubt that some of them will think of following their route. Though some will stick to their local fiat, but more than likely some will have more friendly approach towards bitcoin. Not only neighboring countries but those that are following their progress when they declare bitcoin as legal tender.

Some governments may look in the regularization of crypto-businesses to get tax from it, but making it as legal tender just like in El Salvador may still be far-fetched from their standpoint.
460  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun Stats about Bitcoin Casinos | Infographic on: February 19, 2022, 11:32:39 PM
This Infographic is ten years in the making and we can safely and proudly say that the gambling industry is progressive and dynamic of all the industries under Cryptocurrency, where would we stand if there were no Crypto casinos, it made Cryptocurrency adoption easy, the gambling and gaming industry will soon be conquered by Cryptocurrency.

We all know that one of the first use cases of crypto is in the gambling industry. And now, it evolves and encompasses a lot in the market. To be honest, two of the oldest websites that I learned about how to use crypto are freebitco and primedice, and they happen to be gambling sites.  Grin Gambling is indeed an important part in the bitcoin adoption. And up until today, they are still conquering the market. Remember, during lockdown years (2020 & 2021), that's when online crypto casinos boomed their presence. As many people were stuck at their homes, gambling business was one of the businesses that survive and now they are expanding to metaverse realm.
