What's happening with Dan Metcalf lately ? The temptation of fast bitcoins corrupted him ? I see that he uses his reputation to pump every shitcoin out there. Stealth, Key, Halcyon ? He even writes posts to their threads, hyping the audits, announcing the specific dates for the results. After he posted a message to halcyon thread, it went up 2 times in price. It baffles me. I've read this entire XC thread and the other old one and i thought he is legit. Almost disgusting to see this happening...

I've started a proof-of-code service, to review code and in the future will also be doing digital signatures on builds so that users can be assured that the wallet is clean and virus free.

Yes it is a paid service that I'm doing in my spare-time.

Dan

Any news regarding a working XChat for mac?  I'd be happy to do any testing for you.  Smiley

This week I will get you a test build for checking out

Dear Stealth- Coin Community,

I have been asked to do a review of the technology and the code.  While I haven't completed the full review, the technology/code does provide an ingenious solution for secure SMS transfers - which is why I agreed to do the review as I can see several real world use cases for this application.

Its the real deal.

Sincerely,

Dan Metcalf

The full review will be available for download this evening.

A happy Sunday to you all folks!

A statement on Jasinlee's prior role in XC and on his current relation to XC will be made later today.

I anticipate that it will render future FUD on this topic futile.

Enjoy testing out the multipool.

Thank you, the XC community deserves this. But if the statement reads like an advert, and contains the lie "Jasin was never considered a developer" or irrelevant facts of life such as, "He's free to work on his own projects" - then you haven't heard the end from me or others that have been affected by Jasinlee. By defending him you are putting yourselves in the fire.

I am sick and tired of repeating the same thing, Jasin was never a developer for XC.    Feel free to make a new thread for this issue but moving forward any posts related to this matter will be deleted on this thread.

I'm trying to get a Xnode setup but when I try and start the qt after downloading it I get this error "The program can't start because libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing from your computer, try reinstalling to fix this problem". I've tried on multiple computers with the same error.

Since this is a test release the installer isn't included with the dll's

Give me 5 Minutes

If your interested in running an xnode mixer start the wallet with -distmix-autonode

* XNode Mixers can't send private transactions like a normal wallet and require an unlocked wallet in this release

>> When sending via private transactions, unlock your wallet first and un-check the staking box

If your having an issue please contact me here, email or via XChat

Does functioning as Xnode require unchecking the staking box or is it required only for sending private transactions?

all wallets are now xnodes with REV2

however running as a mixer node - [using the startup option] requires an unlocked wallet

For sending private transactions, yes manually unlock before sending

If you started the wallet with -distmix-autonode, you need to keep it unlocked and validate your ports are open

back to the regular scheduled program

Updated test release for private transactions.

If your interested in running an xnode mixer start the wallet with -distmix-autonode

http://downloads.xc-official.com/testing/XCurrency-qt.exe

* You should have at least 1000 XC's in your wallet for this test release if you want be an XNode mixer.

* When sending a private transaction, it can take up to 5 minutes, this release is locked to 10 XC's [will be changed before final release]

* Check your port is open [TCP 32348] via http://www.portcheckers.com/ [for both xnode mixer and private tx users]

* XNode Mixers can't send private transactions like a normal wallet and require an unlocked wallet in this release

>> When sending via private transactions, unlock your wallet first and un-check the staking box

If your having an issue please contact me here, email or via XChat

ITS IRRELEVANT TO XC DUDE. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. NO ONE IS TRYING TO HIDE IT, IT IS A MATTER THAT IS OUT OF XC'S REACH!

Having a dev associated with a closed source privacy platform who is a fraudster and saying it isn't your problem is like being a daycare saying an ex child porn convict who's served his time "isn't your problem."

No idea why you guys cannot see this.

seriously?  your crossing the line now.  There is nothing I can do for your problem, you either need to contact Jasin or the authorities.

It is my understanding he is issuing REFUNDS to the best of his ability.  Take it up with Jasin directly and stop trolling this thread

After Jasin pumped Cache from nothing to being worth $1.10ish per coin for a discount.  He's now offering refunds at approximately for cachecoin which are worth apx $0.01.  Pretty good deal - sell cache for $1.10 based on something you never have to deliver then return them when they're worth $.01.

Another way of saying this is "I don't give a shit that he's a scammer.  It's not my problem even though he is an unpaid team member."  Message has come thru loud and clear to any objective observer.

Please take it up with him directly.

lol - we've tried for three months.  I'm editing this to (try) not to span your thread more.

Just wanted to make sure and let you guys know how you've come across to the entire altcoin community.

mate you seriously need to piss off, now you're just getting flat out annoying and destroying this thread with an issue irrelevant to this coin. Can the mods start enforcing bans and/or start removing ALL comments related to this issue. It seems as though people don't know when to stop and its not good for future investors to see this crap. Please deal with it.

You're missing the point. We are PAST investors of one of your developers (cue tektra to say he's not). In 6 months from now, you will be in my exact same position unless XC Coin sorts this out by firing Jasin and aremoving all association. This includes Jasin removing XC Coin from his new enterprises.

He's not giving refunds, and admitted he has no capital left despite taking over $2 million USD in PRE-ORDERS.

No your missing the point, Jasin was never an XC delevoper

XC is Jasin's next project.  Hence I'm here warning people.  And when he's done with XC I'll move on to the next one.  Until the name jasinlee is worthless for him to you and he'll have to start from the ground up as a noob to try and scam people.

XC is NOT Jasin's project... look I understand your pissed off about loosing $25k, but it has nothing to do with me or XC.   You need to take correct action with the authorities if you were scammed, you will need to prove to them [not me] that this happened.

I don't post here very often, but had to say........holy shit is this debate getting old and annoying!

It's not a debate. I've been scammed by Jasinlee and now XC Coin members are trying to hide it. He was listed as a developer and now all the sudden he's not because there's FUD, but afterall, he's a really great guy with cool ideas

Seriously, if you were scammed contact the authorities, nobody is hiding anything, I am neither judge nor jury.

You guys are taking this way to far... if an employee of lets say disney scammed you with one of his side projects (selling cars lets say...) would you go and put hate on disney ?  Would you cease to watch Frozen and Alladin and Mickey mouse.  Would you boycott the Disney brand because an employee of disney scammed you at his car lot which has nothing to do with disney?

I never said I don't give a shit and quite the opposite is true.  However I am neither judge nor jury.  If you were scammed, then take legal action.

I'm a new account here

It's like whack-a-mole. Can we just like delete any post that equates JL <=> XC. It's already been said abut 1000 times today that he isn't on the team - it is just getting repetitive.

He is VERY MUCH so on the team. In fact he was listed as #2 dev before I personally contact XC about being scammed. How does XC respond? Removes him from the page, but to quote Tektra, JasinLee is a Team Member.

If you're not aware of this, you don't know enough about XC.

I have more than 100 posts on litecointalk.org so shove your mallet up your arse. Im down $25K to one of your devs. Until I hear he's gone you won't hear the end of this.

Jasin is not an employee or a paid dev.

It is my understanding he is issuing REFUNDS to the best of his ability.  Take it up with Jasin directly and stop trolling this thread
