Cheap is all relative. If you are comparing the price today from a year ago then $4,000+ would seem devilishly high. Since we are comparing from a month or two ago it seems like a safe time to buy.
With all factors considered this might be the last time we see the price under $5000. In a few years, considering the way things are going, I would not be surprised to see a 10x jump.

Wouldn't mind the dumps but yes I'm going to keep buying until Bitcoin hits mass adoption. Who knows what the price will be at the point. Maybe in the $100,000s

So today I purchased web hosting from Namecheap using Bitcoin and it was incredibly cheap, simple and best of all, anonymous. When it comes to website ownership, depending on the kinds of sites you are building, this can be an important thing.
One of the reasons why Bitcoin took off initially was because of its privacy and anonymity benefits. Back then there were so few places where you could actually spend Bitcoin, so people ended up purchasing illegal things to test out the platform.
Now, we can see and trust definite advantages that Bitcoin as a technology brings - secure store of value, anonymity, global/universal currency, transparency (blockchain), software apps can be built on top, etc
but I really just wanted to get your opinion...
What are some advantages of paying with Bitcoin?
Nice hearing that Namecheap accept bitcoin now. I agree with the advantage of privacy when making payment. However since namecheap requires customer information, it defeat the purpose of this benefit. Do you mind sharing what is the transaction fees you paid for this transaction? The privacy issue is avoided by using fake name generator. This is how I create my PBNs for SEO juice. The transaction fee was literally like 35 cents. Not bad at all

The end of year value should be good to measure, but the more important aspect is the long term value of Bitcoin in 2020, 2030, 2100 and beyond...
Is Bitcoin a reliable form of value to pass onto our children?

The government essentially gets to control our fiat money through Central Banks (well, technically it's an entity higher than the government). While the government can't directly influence or print more Bitcoins on demand like they can with Fiat money, they can definitely regulate the crap out of it.
We could be taxed for purchases in the future, or entrepreneurship/contracts could be limited without reporting, etc.
The reality is that Bitcoin is increasing in value, while the economy is experiencing serious credit bubble issues. Depending on the cryptocoins that win out in the next 5-10 years maybe the government will adopt Ripple or another crypto and change the perspective of everything.
Whatever happens, the government won't be winning. The people will be !

So, the Cryptocurrency Tax Fairness Act was introduced in Congress today (September 7th, 2017). The proposed bill will make it much easier to use Bitcoin to pay for every day goods and services. https://coincenter.org/entry/reps-polis-schweikert-introduce-cryptocurrency-tax-fairness-act-in-congress"...the Cryptocurrency Tax Fairness Act would.... require the Treasury Department to issue guidelines for informational reporting on digital currency transactions for which capital gains is due..." This is the first time a bill has been introduced in Congress to encourage cryptocurrency’s use and, if successful, would mark a huge stepping stone for the widespread adoption of Bitcoin in businesses all over the United States.

One more down, millions more to go. Every piece of news about someone taking on Bitcoin as a payment option is another notch for the ultimate success of Bitcoin. It would be cool if football stadiums accepted Bitcoin for tickets. But honestly, I can't wait until major Internet platforms like Facebook, Uber and Amazon accept Bitcoin. That's when the real progress will happen.

A few days ago China just announced that their government banned all ICO activities, and instantly the bitcoin price went down. how do you think about this?
Sounds pretty good to me. Most ICO's are scams and not a good use of time, so this could be a good thing for Bitcoin itself and the economy of China as a whole. I think they are on to something because they are, after all, the main exporter for the rest of the world, including USA, so I'm sure they know a thing or two about the state of the economy. IMO it seems like a ploy to drive the price down, scare off some people and ultimately obtain more Bitcoins.

The government would have to rewrite the code for Bitcoin or implement some kind of safeguard onto Blockchain. Otherwise, the government can't tell who has or is using Bitcoins because all the transactions are anonymous. Bitcoin was MADE to avoid government regulation.
Now, if you have your info in a crypto exchange like Coinbase, it is very possible that the government can track who you are when you make purchases. But for transactions between merchants and people, there really is no way for the government to do anything.
IMO this is just a media scare as most journalists will write for emotions, not necessarily for facts. So expect the price to go down if this news spreads.

My Bitcoin dream would be freedom and prestige. If the price of altcoins were to dramatically multiply it would enable me the freedom of time and movement. With this I would be able to travel and contribute all over the world. I would be able to grow and scale a passive income generating business and ultimately live the good life. Of course, my dream can be realized with just fiat money, but seeing Bitcoin succeed would make my goals and mission so much sweeter

Remember when the price was at $300-$500 and we were thinking it was overpriced? Well, the same thing is happening all over again. This time we're comparing $5,000 to $50,000. If Bitcoin truly has potential to reach $1,000,000 per BTC then acquiring as many Bitcoins now makes a lot of sense.
It all depends on your long term outlook. If you think Bitcoin has MASSIVE potential, then any time is the right time to invest. If you are in this for the short term gains you will have to time the market to profit.

Online stores and marketplaces will definitely be using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the future. Mostly because it is just more convenient and accessible.
It's also safer and more transparent. There are so many advantages to doing ecommerce with crypto that it is only a matter of time until it becomes a normal thing for business.

I can see Bitcoin getting regulated in some way in the future... It has been attracting too much attention from lawmakers, financial analysts, investors and everyday people. At some point, in each country, big government will step in to exercise control with unless of course, an economic revolution happens. But banned? No way. If that happens I will be moving to another country. Can't ban Bitcoin on planet Earth

Check out the Services section in the Marketplace. For most signature campaigns you will need to reach at least Jr. Member to participate. I recommend getting to know the different parts of the forum as well as posting quality ideas in each of your posts. The more you contribute the more attention you receive in return. It also helps you not get rejected when you apply for signature campaigns.
You'll get there in no time. Happy Bitcoining!

Just FYI, RegalWallet (what you link to in the "Free Bitcoin IRA Guide" under Useful Resources) is pretty off-putting with the generic splash page and especially this revelation: Not sure if RegalWallet is yours but if it is, that mistake is worth fixing. EDIT: Just noticed you sponsor them via the "Best free bitcoin IRA" link in the nav bar. Good eyes. Thanks for pointing out the out-of-date numbers on the Regal Wallets landing page. I have already shared this typo with the developers and it should get adjusted soon, if not already. Btw if you were wondering, Yes, I am working with them as an affiliate. Regal just released their all new Bitcoin IRA investments kits this week. Very excited to see how it plays out. Thanks for sharing with us, I'll bookmark and add your site into useful source for newbies who wants to learn more about bitcoin, it's pretty good to inspire me as well. And it is possible for you to get more information about bitcoin projects where people could invest and get profits? not an ICO because I know there are some projects like that. Something like advertise some projects and get paid, or anything which will be profitable for both sides.
Thanks man, really appreciate it! Glad you found it to be useful and helpful

Yes, definitely do your pre-sale research. I would highly recommend checking out Smith & Crown for the latest upcoming ICO's. Learning about the team and product from their website is imo the best way to judge the quality of the alt coin. Check it out: https://www.smithandcrown.com

It would seem that Bitcoin is a volatile object of mystery, but the reality is that it (blockchain) is brand new technology that is already disrupting how we give and receive money across the globe. I can see the potential, yet also understand the risks.
Why do you think now a good time to invest in Bitcoin?

Knowledge and the capacity & will to take action are the keys to success. Taking action leads to opportunities. You create your own luck.
A "smart" person will have good habits of mind to support that. This applies to both street smarts and book smarts.
If a person hasn't received the knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain technology then, of course, they will ignore it as a financial vehicle.
