4401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: November 04, 2019, 08:08:41 AM
The team is going to make money on fx coin, I think fx will still have pump and then there will be a smooth reduction in price to 500-1000 satoshi!
How are they going to pull that off?
ICOs don't seem to be a thing anymore.

Are they going to first wait for another major BTC bull run and also hope ICOs get the hype the got back in 2017 because to me i don't really see that ICO hype coming back even though BTC was to achieve a new All Time High.
4402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Prevent Being Scammed in the Blockchain on: November 04, 2019, 07:07:22 AM
I understand the urge to warn people about scam in the cryptoworld, but they way you made the post could make people think that you were looking for hits on your website/blog.

You could share a little summary of what is in the article in the post to make it more interesting.
Otherwise, thanks for trying to warn the community
4403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $5700 GIVEAWAY! TRADING CONTEST on: November 04, 2019, 06:29:23 AM
So why not make a competition that will be suitable
for all kind of traders.

To me ranking the top participants based on something like percentage profit made during the contest period would have been much fair for all participants.
4404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $5700 GIVEAWAY! TRADING CONTEST on: November 04, 2019, 06:02:33 AM
Small traders are less to participate. However, this may attract users of binance to trade while thinking about the prize. $5700 is kinda huge, does the contest over?
Apparently, the more trade volume you have, the more points you get(every $100 of trade volume gives you 1 points). A person who is trading with $2K can't simply compete with a person trading with $200K for example in terms of trying to attain points.

As we speak, someone already has 4243 point which is worth $424,300 of trade volume. Now if you just have a few hundred dollars can you really compete with such a person?

It started last November 1st, how many days does the contest cover?
The contest is running for one week. It ends in around 4 days
4405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 03, 2019, 04:40:08 PM
Excellent display by Leicester City. Winning away at Crystal palace was a fantastic result for them. Now up to third in the PL table because of superior goal difference over Chelsea.

Manchester United are 10 points off a Champions League 4th place and Tottenham are 11 points off 4th place. it is getting tight at the top that is why the EPL is the best league in the world  Grin
Manchester United and Arsenal performing badly despite being busy in the transfer window. I am so impressed with how Brendan Rodgers has instilled confidence at Leicester City.
Now all they have to do is keep the moment until the end of season.
4406  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Becarefull Scam Exchange Bituary on: November 03, 2019, 02:34:45 PM
A scam accusation was already on against the scammers on 25th/10/2019 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5195893.0. You can check it out for more details and feedback from members.
They are shady as a fuck and should never be trusted with any crypto/funds.
4407  Other / Meta / Re: Point of view needed on discussion mega threads on: November 03, 2019, 01:51:03 PM
Spam mega threads mostly exist in Altcoin sections. I do engage in discussion in gambling board like Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL)  but the discussion is always continuous as new things happen in the sports world every day.

Infact such mega threads prevent spam in the board where different people would end up opening new topics for the different matches and new that occurred during the day.

I think some of these mega threads should be locked a long time ago, and it is up to each of us to report it. There has been a lot of necroposting lately, and spammers generally choose very old mega threads.
You are right Lucius, reporting a thread that is candidate to turning into a spam mega thread to be locked would be the best way forward

I experienced such a problem sometime back but i figured out it was my VPN that was causing it so I turned it off
4409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PoW vs PoS (Decentralized) on: November 03, 2019, 12:12:09 PM
From my opinion, i think PoW is much less prone to centralization as compared to PoS especially if the network is big.  Centralization becomes an issue as big players start getting into the mining game with time. As the case for BTC, as mining becomes less profitable for people with a few mining rigs, the big players take over while the small players abandon mining making it look less decentralized.

PoS also has its issues like you might have already noticed with top altcoins that use PoS like EOS and TRON. Some  People have already lost trust in them on grounds of manipulations, and yet they even barely two years old. Imagine how it will be 5-6 years from now.

I believe PoW is still very solid as compared to PoS
4410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Introducing Bookwerx. Bookkeeping for traders. on: November 03, 2019, 11:51:15 AM
Hey i would like to understand. AFAIK there are some services like 3commas and BitUniverse that off option of tracking portfolio, trade/transaction histories, and daily profits just through use of API keys imported from exchanges. The UIs are very friendly and easy to use. What extra feature will your service offer and perhaps help provide a stronger advantage of the already existing portolio managers?
4411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3COMMAS UPDATE on: November 02, 2019, 07:49:18 PM
It's safe i have used it for sometime but i have yet checked out the new update. Previously you were just able to import API keys from you favourite exchange and then you would be able to make trades and track your portfolio changes. It was working as a gridbot, trading tool like tabtrader and a portfolio tracker.

I don't know how it works now after the update and partnership with binance.
4412  Other / Meta / Re: Is it not allowed to sell guest posts on this forum? on: November 02, 2019, 07:21:22 PM
I had a topic where i offered guest posts for sale on one of my websites. That topic was removed.

May i know which rule was broken?
It would be great if you shared the said topic (quoted message in your PM) and the board you posted it in. This would give a clear understanding as to why the topic was deleted.

I am beginning to think that the telegram was created for ICO marketing but after sales, the support has slowly disappeared.
Their telegram should be one of the best channel to communicate their news and updates, and also to answer the queries of the investors since this project does not just stop at a certain phase and we called it a success, its a long journey going to their big goal and they need a supportive community on that journey.
Happens every time to most ICO projects. After collecting money their activity on social media reduces. They forget that it just the beginning of the long journey. Keeping in touch with people and giving them confidence to trust the project the more is the best way to keep afloat even in bad times
4414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 02, 2019, 06:46:04 PM
Crazy match day today , specialy the games Bayern Munich and Frankfurt and also Leipzig against Mainz .
Leipzig score 8 goals and Mainz zero , and i saw the second half of bayern Munich and was playing realy terrible.
Guess the Coach will have not good times in the next days after the this match today.
Hahaha i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the Bayern Munich"s Match result. Like WTF happened today?  Shocked
Maybe this is the season someone else lifts the Bundesliga... I am just sooo tired of seeing Bayern Munich as Champions

4416  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Need A Fake Btc Transaction Generator software on: November 02, 2019, 10:48:35 AM
Just out of curiosity, why would you need a fake BTC transaction generator? (maybe Iam missing something, educate me)

Because all i have seen fake transactions being used in the past has been to scam people. Some scam websites display fake payouts and Tx IDs especially Gambling sites and ponzi schemes.

So it makes me wonder what you are planning to do. I hope it's not for bad intentions.
4417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Looking for forum posting ? on: November 02, 2019, 10:06:30 AM
Seriously guys?  Roll Eyes  Obviously he's offering to boost your "own" forum not a certain announcement thread within the forum.
Then he should put up an announcement to the forums he thinks need boosting. Does Bitcointalk look like a forum that needs boosting with fake conversations from farmed accounts?
4418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $5700 GIVEAWAY! TRADING CONTEST on: November 01, 2019, 07:54:40 PM
I really wonder what the purpose of such contests are.
I have been a user of 3 commas but i won't waste my time on such contests that are easily manipulated by people with  Millions worth of tokens in USD on Binance.
4419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 01, 2019, 07:28:13 PM
In 13 Minutes the match starting between Hoffenheim vs SC Paderborn and i realy hope that Hoffenheim will win there home match.
Paderborn is playing well the last weeks but my bet goes to Hoffenheim and fingers crossed that they will win it with an 2 :1.

But i guess in my case they play diffrent. lol .
My bet too is on Hoffenheim to win.

Paderborn has been so poor this season. In 9 matches they have managed to gather only 4 points ( 1 win, 1 Draw and 7 Losses) They have the most leaky defense in the League these season, conceding 22 goals in the process.

They are also the last on the league after 9 games.

4420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 01, 2019, 07:01:11 PM
This week will feel more relaxed for these two EPL rivals.
Aston villa vs Liverpool
Man city vs southampton

It will be easier for Liverpool and Man city to get three points as usual. So this can be said to be a week that does not need to work hard but must remain vigilant.
I actually see both teams winning their games with relative ease and Man City will be facing Southamption once again after their mid week win over them in the Carabao Cup. With the Aston Villa and Liverpool game, it might be a tricky affair if Liverpool end up underrating they will see their unbeaten streak come to an end.
I never take any team for granted in the EPL. The afternoon when newly promoted Norwich beat Manchester City at Etihad Stadium is till fresh in my mind  Grin
