It was another good day for Australia batting however again most of the players got starts but couldn't go onto making that hundred. I thought South Africa bowled well to restrict Australia to just over 200 runs which they needed to if they have any chance of winning this test match. Australia now lead by 402 runs with 1 wicket remaining, they will try and get as many runs with this final wicket to make it very hard for South Africa, well it is hard now to chase 402 runs on this pitch and facing the Australia bowlers. Australia should win this test match from here with 2 days to go, I actually think it will be all over on day 4 if Australia bowl like they did in the 1st innings.
4402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grim Coin on: March 03, 2018, 10:30:38 PM
I like this project, I think that it has a future. I will wait for growth

There has been growth for the past couple of months now. Its the best to get in early before more people start to know about grim coin, soon masternodes will be implemented and the current rate of 525% per year will soon be changed so now is the best time to take advantage of this 525% while it lasts.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Buy many GRIM coins now so that I can benefit from the 525% staking. When the Masternode phase begins, the staking profit will decrease.

I have also noticed that the network weight has increase a lot since a few weeks ago which tells me that more people are now staking then ever before. Or that more people have been accumulating more grim while its cheap before the masternodes are implemented. The dev has said as we get closer to the masternodes being implemented, we'll then find out how many we will need to own one. I just hope by then that I have enough grim to run a masternode.

I have been staking away trying to get more GRIM. The network weight isn't as high as it was a while back. And definitely isn't as high as when coinsmarkets was online. I have a feeling that I won't have enough for a masternode but would definitely hope that there is a shared masternode service that I could partake in. That would be great and also would allow those without enough coin of their own to still profit from the implementation of masternodes.

Thanks as I wasn't in grim back when Coinsmarkets was staking and just got in recently but it has gone up recently since I got in towards the end of January. I think you will find that there will be a masternode pool pop up once masternodes are implemented as this seems to be what most staking pools are doing now. Maybe StakesUnited will start a grim masternode pool?

You're welcome Smiley You are right that a masternode pool will be popping up as the time for masternode implementation gets closer. The Admin was in discord earlier and gave some updates. One that caught my eye was about the coin requirement for a masternode being lower. But he didn not elaborate on it anymore since it is still not finalized. But it was definitely great seeing an update! Would be awesome if I have enough for a masternode since that would mean that I could run masternodes for two of my favorite coins  Cool

Yeah I saw that post by the dev on discord, I'm actually thinking that the cost for a masternode will be at least 100k+ which I think most people can achieve. Even at 500k because to be honest we don't want it to be too cheap now and have it some where in the middle like most masternode coins do. So its fair for the smaller guy also to have a chance to own a masternode so I'm thinking it will be between 100k and 500k coins for one.

I do have a question in regards to censorship. I have seen many times before on YouTube where they close someones account just for speaking the truth about world events and other things going on in the world, for people speaking out. I know a couple of people who have had their YouTube accounts closed for this reason and I was wondering will Buzzshow being doing the same when it comes to censorship?

hi is the projekt dead or team is still working on it ?

No one knows, but if you read page 80 till current page, you'll read that there were some plans. But for now we have to assume the worst.

That's right and for anyone getting in now is taking a big risk/gamble. I still get messages on Twitter about RAIN and I just tell them if they are willing to take the risk because there is no active development and the dev is MIA then go for it. I also say that for me to recommend RAIN again I would like to see the dev post some updates on where the project is at and see him active again, until then I can't recommend this coin to anyone unless they want to take the risk.
4405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 03, 2018, 10:05:54 PM
Nadal said today that for the same problem he had at the Australian Open, he had to skip the tournament of Acapulco and miss the "Master 1000" tournaments in Miami and Indiana Wells.
Wawrinka will also not be in these 2 tournaments.
Djokovic has stated that he will most likely play Indiana Wells and will surely play in Miami!

I hope Wawrinka and especially Nadal will be 100% ready for Roland Garros. The way Nadal played last year on Roland Garros, without losing any set was fabulous.
Anyone knows when Murray will be back in competition ?

I hope so as well because we need the best tennis players playing. It would be a shame for the French Open if Nadal misses due to this injury he picked up in the Australian Open. If these top players miss the French Open then it opens up the door for Federer to win his second French Open unless one of the up coming young talents can knock him off.

I think Murray will be out almost all season from what I heard.

Without top players, the tournament will not be more interesting and this is becoming an advantage for Federer to reach finals without struggling too much against new players. Murray matter i don't know when he will be back.

Yeah I agree, it will be like the Australian Open however it will be a lot worse if Nadal can't play as at least he did play in the Australian Open. I think the forgotten player is Novak Djokovic who at the moment seems to be facing a mental battle with himself. If he can get himself right, then he can be a main contender for sure and challenge Federer.

Guys inside BOAT there's a big community! I've been in it for a long time and I still believe that this coin has a great future !!
Let's start by voting everyone to be listed on https://adzbuzz.com
It would be a great advantage for everyone !!
Vote, vote, vote !!

Why do you think this coin needs another exchange? The coin need a team and development and of course a purpose in the first place.

I'm with you my friend! What Boat needs right now is the dev working on the project and letting us community members know what is going on. I don't really see the point of another exchange right now as developments need to come first and more communication from the dev.

=> POS is coming soon and anyone can stake any amount to receive some interest (free $$$),
Any insights on these please?

Also, I've read in this topic (somewhere) that there's a service that can provide shared masternodes? I.e. I'd pay 100XLR towards masternode, others would eventually join with their stack to gather 1000XLR. Once it's done, the owner of the service take care of everything associated with masternode and we'd receive a shared profit equal to our input from this XLR MN minus fee for company taking care of.
Is https://pool.stakinglab.io one of those? How genuine it is? Anyone tried this type of masternode'ing?

BTW. Great work devs! Keep it up!

PoS is very easy to understand, you just buy coins, in this case that will be Solaris. Once you bought them, have them sent to your local wallet and wait for them to mature, not sure how long they will take to mature but most PoS coins take average 8 hours. Once they are mature, they will then start to stake and you will get a reward for each stake in the form of more Solaris coins. Leave the wallet open for as long as you can so you have the best chance at earning stakes. I would say a minimum of 12 hours at least to leave the wallet open. It will be interesting to see how PoS will work here and how many people will be staking. I hope this helps you out a little on PoS and what its all about.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Man City v Chelsea game. It will be an interesting game as Chelsea will want to win or at least draw to stay in the top 4. Man City have already won the title but would want to keep the momentum going and put in a good performance against one of the top teams. I'm betting on both teams to score in this game as I do think Chelsea can score and they do have a pretty good record against City at home.

Yes! I think it is a great time to relaunch the signature campaign as we get closer to the end of POW and transitioning over to PoS and Zerocoin protocol. It will help spread the word and get people interested in Solaris. A Social media campaign will also be great as we know social media is huge now days when it comes to crypto mainly Twitter and YouTube as Facebook in my opinion has dropped off a little when it comes to promoting crypto. Good luck with the new campaign dev and I look forward to seeing these new signature designs.
Very motivated thread. Will you join Solaris signature campaign to support the project in its next important phases, vella85? One thing you forgot to mention in your thread is txbit.io exchange.

Yeah it is my friend, this thread has been active since day one with the dev and community members. I support Solaris in a big way on twitter since I got in Solaris back in June last year. I won't be joining the signature campaign as I already have a campaign that I have been in for around 2 years coming up so I'll be staying with the one I'm in now. Anyway it will give more people the opportunity to join the Solaris signature campaign. I'll always be here supporting the coin anyway, just not wearing the Solaris signature. Yeah I forgot to mention the txbit exchange like I so often do lol, I think another campaign a week or two before the exchange is launched will be good to spread the word about txbit. I think for now the main promotion should be on the PoS and Zerocoin protocol but we are yet to hear what the signature campaign is.
4411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 02, 2018, 11:25:55 PM
The Australian tail did well to get the total over 350 runs which I thought was a good enough total on this pitch and it turned out that it was more then enough as the Australia bowlers ripped through the South African batting line up bowling them all out for 162 runs in just over 50 overs. I can't see Australia losing this test match now unless they fail and get bowled out for less then 150 runs but even then it will be a tough ask for South Africa to chase down even 250 runs. That was an amazing bowling performance by Strac, the South African batters found him very difficult to play against and he deserved his 5 wickets, Lyon also bowled well to pick up 3 wickets.

Anybody knows how many coins needed for daily stake rewars? Link stake united seems not to work.
Thanks...

would like to know the same!
is it possible to hit a daily reward with less than 100 coins?

It is possible. You might get 1 stake every 2-3 days on average though, from what other users are saying at the moment. The time it takes to get a staking reward changes depending on how many coins are being staked.

this is actually our question
how many coins would be needed for a daily stake?

It is not deterministic, it is the same as mining, but with coins instead of gpu's. You have a chance based on how many coins your staking, compared to the total coins being staked, to get the next block.

actually it's possible to come to a value. but ok.

I actually think that if you want to earn a daily stake then at least 500 coins will be needed now as the difficulty is a lot higher now as more people are mining and staking. I was getting a daily stake a month ago with 200 coins but now its taking anywhere from a couple of days to 3 or 4 days to earn a stake and that is with 250+ coins.

thank you so much!
remember you from RAIN thread
so still getting these staking gems, right?
great!

thanks a lot

You're most welcome!

Yeah I thought your name looked familiar, yes I still stake RAIN but I think Ignition is a lot better as it has more going for it right now then RAIN. Yeah I still look for these staking gems and I think we have a very good one here with Ignition coin. This coin reminds me a lot of Diamond with its low supply and coins minted over a long period of time.

Is it just me or has the network weight gone up a lot in recent weeks? I have noticed a drop off in stakes I earn daily. I think more and more people are now staking this great coin which is good for the network as it helps support it and make it stronger. I guess I'll have to add more coins to build up my own staking weight.
4414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THE NEXT GENERATION OF CROWDFUNDING [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: March 02, 2018, 11:12:29 PM
I'm still staking Unify since the day I joined which was over 6 months ago now. I know that this is a long term project so that is why I don't mind waiting and earning those staking rewards. This is one of the benefits with Unify, as we wait we can earn even more coins by staking unlike POW coins where there is no rewards for holding them, only if the price goes up. Unify is a solid project that I believe will do well into the future.
4415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 02, 2018, 11:06:07 PM
With City winning easily against Arsenal, I think now for sure its City's title. Its been a dominating season by City and I can't remember a team being so dominating like City has in a very long time. I must admit as a City fan its been great to watch and entertaining but it would of been nice to see a lot more competition from the other teams to make the title race a lot more interesting. Well the top 3 is interesting to watch to see which teams finish in the top 3 at seasons end.

In truth City won the league since December when they acquired that 15pts lead. There was no way they could lose it from there. I'm not one to usually play this card, since it beginning to be the norm of football, but here it goes "money buys titles". It has simple as that. Man City have spent the heaviest and it is no surprise they are where they are at the moment. Nobody can compete with such funding support in the EPL. That being said, I take nothing away from Pep and the style of play he is using in the Prem. Maybe if Pochettino had same amount of funds (and profile to attract such players), he would be very close to City. Honestly for me football started losing it's true meaning when it became too commercial. I think the turning point was the arrival of Roman to Chelsea; he opened the flood gates.

I disagree.  I mean sure City was ahead and was playing well, but I wouldn't start considering them as 'having won the league' at that point.  Not before the winter transfer window at least.  Wink

Arsenal already humiliated by Manchester City yesterday and they looks can't stopped dominance of Manchester City and for upcoming match against Manchester City again next weekend although Arsenal play as host team but on my predictions this match will belong to Manchester City again

Humiliated pretty badly, complete dominance in yesterdays game. And yes I would also say the upcoming match would be also dominated by Manchester City, but it might not be a clean sheet, as the game is hosted by Arsenal, so they will have some advantages. I would say it would be something like the game between Manchester United and Chelsea, 2-1 the other day.

Guardiola has created a war machine!
his Manchester City is almost at the levels of his Barcelona.
This year Manchester City can do the "Triplete" (Premier League, National Cup and Champion's League).
This team can dominate European football in the next few years.

Somebody pointed out that we haven't seen City vs a top club in the CL, so we can't really judge where they are against thr likes of Bayern, Barca and Real...

I'd like to see them play vs Bayern at some point in the CL.

Yes I agree with this, I think once we see Man City play one of these top teams in Europe, then we will get to see how good or bad City really is because lets be honest there hasn't been much competition for them in the Premier League this season so I'm hoping that they will be up for the challenge for when they do happen to play one of these top teams in the CL.

Dev please provide recorded version of recent online conference. Huh Thank you
Is their a recording of the conference I would also like to here it
keep sprouting those bitb!

I'm sure there is a recording of the conference call as they normally record them. I'm hoping they have as I always miss these conference calls because of the timezone difference. Good thing is that the price is holding steady at around 200 sats and hopefully it can stay there ready for the next leg up to its ATH.

Price has surged from the past couple of days and today is the 2nd day that it has dipped. Hopefully, after tomorrow, the price would be stable and there should be another surge in price in the coming days if the price for today and tomorrow sustains.
This is only the start to bigger things to come for the beancash. The whole concept of seems pretty new and interesting and really looking good right now. Beans sprouting at home in a wallet.
 Smiley

You are correct! I've been actually looking into sprouting my beancash but I do not have the right hardware. I want to be able to start sprouting. Do you recommend any hardware specifications that is perfect for sprouting beancash?  Huh

you just need a PC. Its not hard. I built my own PC out of parts that were going to become a mining rig but GPUs became too hard to come buy. its making more satoshis than both of my rigs now.

That's right, no need for high end hardware to sprout BeanCash as even a low end laptop will do the job as sprouting doesn't use much resources at all. I used to sprout on my laptop until I wanted to stake other coins as well so now I use a PC but anyone can sprout BeanCash without a high end computer or hardware.

Indeed! I've sprouted for a long time with the beloved MINIX NEO Z83-4 that can be bought around 170€ ($210) already with windows. It's the cheapest machine "plug&play" that works with more than one wallet without any problem. I highly recommend it because it has a low power consumption and zero noise (no moving parts). Here's the link: http://minix.com.hk/en/products/neo-z83-4

Wow! Thank you gentlemen for your answers!  Cheesy I wonder how many days did you leave your computers running before it sprouted some beancash?

@amesterdamer: whoa. This is interesting! Shocked So do you install the beancash software wallet in this miniPC then?

Yes, I used that "farm" (how I call them) for almost a year. During that time it was staking vericoin and sprouting bitbean.

Recently I needed more from my farm and I've upgraded to an ASUS - BAREBONE Mini PC UN45 with 4gb DD3 and 100gb of storage. This solution will be more expensive around 100€ regarding the minix that I've mentioned, but it's a better solution if you're thinking of having more than 2 wallets on it.

By the way, my old farm is currently staking at my cousin's house, she is only using it for beancash and continues to work flawlessly Wink Yesterday, my other cousin bought this minix and he's also going to start sprouting beancash... next week another cousin will start also! Smiley My closest family all have Beancash because on this christmas my gift was a family airdrop Wink everyone got a bunch of BeanCash on paperwallets... some already are sprouting those beans, others will begin soon and my uncles are simply holding and waiting. Either way all of them now follow the beancash price and have been introduced to crypto / beancash Cheesy

Oh wow! that is awesome! I never knew we could sprout/stake with something like this. I might have to pick up a few for myself to start sprouting/staking as my PC is running out of space, well it is out of space lol. That was a great idea giving your family members paper wallets and introducing them to cryptocurrencies. I'm thinking of doing this for Easter instead of Easter eggs I'll be giving beans. Thanks for sharing this with us all as I'm sure this will help many people out and get started sprouting BeanCash with these mini pc's.

Having problems with a stuck Elite withdraw at Cryptopia from 48 hours ago.  This is a common complaint in their threads for many coins.  Their CEO did just issue a letter stating their going to improve their standards.

Hopefully they'll fix it soon. We'll keep an eye and keep you you guys posted.

everybody stay away from topia for a while,
severe withdraw problems on some alts at the moment (prolly wallets on particular server, idk),
support back log estimates exceed 3 weeks...

I agree, this is the best thing to do right now! I suggest people use other exchanges like Coinexchange for now until Cryptopia sort out their withdrawal issues. I would also stay away from TradeSatoshi as well for now as they seem to be having problems as well. Good to see CMC take Yobit off the Elite listing as it will stop newbies using that exchange where the wallet has been in maintenance for months, most likely staking Elite and selling the stakes.
