4421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bibox exchange listing cooperation on: September 10, 2020, 09:20:17 AM
This is kind of a service and I think this doesn't belong here, maybe on Services board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 or on Service Announcement board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0.

Move it to that board. At the bottom left of this thread you can see move then move it to the board I said above.
4422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Combine Finance - Best of Defi's | Presale in a week [ICO] on: September 10, 2020, 07:21:23 AM
If the team was anonymous was the token even audited? What company has audited it to be exact?

Is there an ETA when does yield farming gonna get started? Just curious though because this defi stakings really got massive APY and more like a Ponzi you gonna get first before they run. No offense but that's the fact right now in the crypto sphere.
4423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction by 2021 on: September 10, 2020, 07:00:43 AM
Do you think that bitcoin will reach 50K by 2021? I find it similar to 2016 where we had ICO's, now we just had DeFi *scam*
A friend of mine told me that bitcoin will get low these upcoming months, what do you think? given the recent Bart pattern i see a lot of manipulation and it isn't a good sign really...
Well, I hope so. Whoever that friend of yours might be wrong or might be correct. But at the end of the day, that was all just speculation, the good part just there is that I think we are in the bull run phase and this menstruation period of bitcoin was just on the accumulation phase, just to shake those noobs and weak hands and ready to have bags before price get high again. My hunch is that $20k was a target price this year. #HODL
4424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Instant Decentralized Atomic Swaps Like Uniswap - Pretty Interesting on: September 09, 2020, 06:29:15 PM
If it utilizes the Lightning Network that's really a good thing but how far can we trust it, are they new? Was the imahe you sent a desktop wallet or it's just a site?

So far the thing I used as an alternative right now from Uniswap was Justswap and it really just simple as Uniswap but it's insanely cheaper to trade and swap assets.

You have two choices, either you report the thread directly or you post it in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 regarding of his plagiarism act. For sure that will be nuked instantly.

I'd rather go with the former since I do that most of the time and clearly the thread wasn't even given a credit where he found that article but the latter should do as well, your choice.

“If winning a championship was easy, everyone would have one,”  “We lost. Everyone saw that we lost. It’s disappointing, but what are we going to do? We’re going to keep working. I’ve got confidence in my teammates.”
Source: .../Giannis-Antetokounmpo-Says-He-Wont-Request-Trade-From-Bucks
I am thinking that's just a false hope for the Bucks with Giannis statement and right now I don't think his teammates will make it for a ring.

And anyway, if by chance, the odds on getting him transferred to the other teams became that almost not impossible, then which team he should move into?
Some rumors are saying it was GSW, I mean it has chance but who knows if they get their hard cap that would mean the GSW will be losing some players because Bucks will never trade Giannis without a star they could get, that's my guess.
4428  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming with low value posts? on: September 09, 2020, 10:58:13 AM
What do you think? Should I report this? Feel free to report if you want.
I think they really are low value posts and just doesn't add up to the discussion. They are worthy to be reported in my own opinion. The quoted statement below is why I am reporting not mean to be abused but if I think a post is of low quality I tend to report them.

Do not worry about your accuracy too much; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports.
4429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 09, 2020, 03:47:16 AM
I have seen an increment of users in the gambling site this year, looks like people get bored in their houses so casinos is a good option to move some money while we have fun. But if people is gambling more that doesn't mean they have a gambling addiction, i would say they have more free time and they want to make some extra money online.
Exactly, even just few per day at least they can get money from gambling. The problem only arises because most of the time some users do lose and that's a fact and if they chased over it they got more lose.

I like casual gamblers because they can moderate their urge to gamble and it's more of passing time while at home. But if I were to gamble just for fun I'd better learn it for a new skill online, not can make money in an instance but it will be put into a good use in the future.

4431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish! on: September 08, 2020, 12:05:33 PM
From my point of view I think the month of September to October will be the accumulation phase. I just looked on the past 2017 chart here https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/heres-what-bitcoins-monster-2017-gain-looks-like-in-one-humongous-chart-2017-12-06 and I noticed that there's a drop as well there on the August and September area.

Most likely history will repeat itself this time but who we are we're just merely speculators but somehow we can depend on the charts. I don't think we really are on bear market in the long run but a possible bull run is coming.

I will though curse you if you market sell all of that
See this? You better not lying or a curse will be lift up.

Ive been on this forum since 2010. My old SN SmokeTooMuch  isn't logging in right now
Could you still login on it by now because you were active last Feb 2020, I suppose this doesn't happen just recently, am I right? By the way, judging from the writing style of you ("SmokeTooMuch" really wannabe) and the real SmokeTooMuch there's really some discrepancies. Nice try though but I'll help that your real address is this 1Q9bTRCFWXBFXHVjXnpK3CebRSEU6hbb5D from your profile.

I'd be damned not having some backups of PKs or have it on some cold wallets having that huge amount of bitcoins.
4433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 08, 2020, 04:35:22 AM
Sad reality mate, while so many people now are doing their best to Keep their money inside pocket to save for emergency cases and for foods, then there are these people who are risking everything just to satisfy their craving to gamble.

This is one thing that makes the economy down because of people like them who's no concern about the future of the community, and country.
Well, we can't just judge them so easily though it's their lives to and it's their concerns if they got problem over it. Well, if it really concerns about the whole community especially a country regarding problem gambling then government really have to take actions.

As far as I know gambling was one thing that makes the government profit from and whether we like it or not gambling monies will still be part of the economy.

4436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new promising ICO project these days? on: September 07, 2020, 03:00:29 PM
ICO's right now are rare to be exact most like extinct. I've seen some that still does but mostly big projects with few big investors.

IEO and this DeFi with staking are the type of hype right now, not sure how long it lasts.
4437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest for beginners on: September 07, 2020, 12:53:21 PM
Isn't is a mistake on your side which you invested already yet you still learning the space? Somehow it's good thing you invested on bitcoin but on the education side not just you but for other future investors on the crypto space it's literally the best if you learn it first rather hopping in just because of hype or other FOMOs. Crypto is very volatile.

I think I'd recommend it here more than any other platforms.
4438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 07, 2020, 09:23:36 AM
Is card counting possible online or even by a single individual. I really don't know the trick and even if you had laid it here I can't still grasp the details of it and how it would function. Well, that's only me. I have to happen seen it on the movie series of Lucifer wherein Ms. Lopez was used that trick but sadly the gal was banned on almost all casinos, it's just a movie though but I think it is possible in real life, am I right? Maybe some card geniuses?
4439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huobi Bitcoin | DeFi Mining on: September 07, 2020, 07:34:57 AM
When bear market shows up we'll see who survives in this type of market of hype. Those APY can't be earned on Stocks nor ForEx. We'll see more and more crybabies here or on social crying out loud they got rekt because of this DeFi thing. There will projects that remain but I think a little percentage of it I suppose.

The defi craze is a repeat of the ICO craze in 2017. It is impossible to determine which tokens are legitimate and which are not. It will end badly for most people.
I'd say moonbois gonna get rekt.
4440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 07, 2020, 03:19:30 AM
I've seen a few people getting more desperate around this time. It's a hard time, no doubt. Disposable income has gone way down, sources of income are reduced and family matters tend to get worse. At this time losing money in gambling has more of an impact, and some people tend to try to escape with gambling. This is exactly where big problem situations can arise from.
Correct. If at least some gamblers can moderate their desire to gamble or have control over it then such things will never mess up like family problems. It's really best not to gamble what's for the family budget and what's for gambling purposes.

Lets admit that Most of these gamblers are truly dedicated in their worthless business and that is to gamble even if the last money in their pocket will be gone.
I have met many people like this and they are not really into changes.
maybe time will tell but as of this covid and near future?nothing will come easy for them until they learn the lessons.
They are trying I guess even though the risks are great, they'll learn some lessons I suppose when they're fully lost. Worst but that sometimes do happen to others before they get that gamble is not for them.
