4421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: July 30, 2021, 07:36:45 AM
You're not going to get rich playing with stablecoins, try staking NEAR instead for 11.5% APY. It's around 2usd now and it was at 6usd recently so it's an easy 3x in August.
Thanks for the suggestion, but volatility isnt that good for some of other coins. I am more into staking of stablecoins cause of risk. Its not that I dont do such staking of other coins but we all knew that altcoin price could change a lot in just a matter of time. Your lucky if the coin is only going up how about if its go down? Its not about getting rich. I have some on my trading portfolio aside from staking so I think I know what Im doing mate.
4422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you agree with Binance's behavior? on: July 30, 2021, 05:11:11 AM
From those that don't know. This was nothing but some type of API error. The CEO of Binanace already talked about it on his twitter. Nobody got liquidated and even if you had a limit sell order in that number, you would of never got a fill.
So it just means that the price action based on the chart is pure glitch only? Ive never read this announcement by CZ but its good that this is was cleared on his side. But to be honest the chart is so weird and really unfair within the given time frame and that disarray of spike.

Anyone traded future during this time?

However this was an error due to some API and its incorrectly displayed.
This sometime confuses the traders and become suspicious more due to that.
4423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade on Trust wallet with the Poocoin app on: July 30, 2021, 04:39:52 AM
I'm here wondering they couldn't come up with better name?
Thats not really an issue I guess. Poocoin has shown how useful their platform and been used by most of the degen and traders on bsc network. I havent seen these features or usage cause Ive only used it for monitoring but its good to know that they already got some trading swap too.

Thanks OP for sharing this detailed instruction. Wanna try it sometime too.
4424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time estimate for Binance Exchange Listing Application Review on: July 30, 2021, 01:32:04 AM
Surely you wont get an answer from here. Cause those projects or head submitting their application to Binance wouldnt be here to guide us on how. So all comments here are merely an opinion. Its possibly that there is an NDA and speaking of details are highly prohibited. If you have your own project then just try it, who knows if yours got accepted anytime soon. But the project should be really good and have really a potential.
4425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Opportunities in the Crypto Space on: July 30, 2021, 01:22:16 AM
Opportunities and intellectual hunger about these things will really push us and motivates us to do it because in the end, we are the one who will benefit it.
Thats right. Motivation is our friend and as long we can push ourselves to do more and learn new things then nothing is impossible.

Crypto opportunities are always there from trading, investing, airdrop, bounty, blockchain games ans many more. All of these can be a gate to our success and maybe can be a passive income in the future.
4426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: July 29, 2021, 05:42:11 AM
Can someone explain the apy vs interest rate?  If a site offers l0 percent apy vs l0 percent interest... how much do you earn a year if you put say l0k usd into it for a year?  I know its l000 dollars but is that for apy or interest?
Im not sure if Im correct but from my understanding but apy stand for annual percentage yield which gives you certain profit or interest for a certain amount of time which is compounded over a year.

In your example your 10k can earn with a 10% apy can give you a 999usd approximately with a daily interest of $2.74.
4427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand on: July 29, 2021, 03:30:29 AM

No, it doesn't need more cash flowing, it just needs people to hold and buyers to increase their bid price. You can see that even if the marketcap of BTC goes below 1Trillion, it could still have a high price of up to $50K as long as sellers are going to demand higher prices. The sellers consist of people like us and the miners who will need to sell high prices for electricity bills to pay and devices that need maintenance.
Thats a good point. But still money is indeed needed in order to sustain a high price, its an never ending cycle since some will sell their btc shares on a high price and wait for others to dump it before they enter again. New players are having the burden of pumping it as news about it tend to get hype when the price started to move.

Miners are probably often sell their mined btc for the consumption so its still a good one that others can enter when the price dumped as such.
4428  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Mining Scam on: July 29, 2021, 03:11:50 AM
Anything that says bitcoin mining with a keyword "cloud" is a scam. Bitcoin mining process isnt that simple and cant be easily be just like sound of this scam attempt.

Beginners should be aware on how is the process done and dont believe strangers that opted to persue you and insist on investing on this kind of approach.

Thanks OP for sharing this is highly helpful and hope the site will turn down soon.
4429  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Books & Articles by Knut Svanholm. Useful Reading on: July 29, 2021, 03:01:56 AM
Damn mate this index is so very useful and I think the only index with a lot of sources I saw posted here. It takes time to do this and unbelievably great. This could be pinned on beginners section as it deemed useful for everyone.
4430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: July 29, 2021, 02:08:15 AM
I remember a reddit post which is talking about 12% APY staking stable coins but personally I don't like staking since we are locking our funds which is actually against the decentralization in the first so better do trading with it or will go for HODL on an volatile cryptocurrency over staking stablecoin because the inflation eats half of the profits so we are literally not making anything in that staking period.
I know what you mean but of course some wanted to be safe in a market that is so volatile and locking out your stablecoin could be a good way to earn while not inflicting a heavy loss on a process. Some prefer volatility for trading but since we arent on a good market I am prefer staking though I trade as well.

Glad you're asking this. To my surprise there aren't many people asking about this crucial information but hopefully they can read this thread.
Ive askwd this caused I want to vent out my frustration to the decrease of the apy. Really hurt stakers!

Would be nice to make a final post with your top 3 places, and reason why you chose them as I think this will be valuable to the rest of the community.
Yeah sure, got already 2 suggested by aboved users which got some pretty decent apy. Seems 6% from yearn isnt bad, is it single staking stablecoin? Im avoiding a pair liquidity with other coin due to volatility.
4431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to know before trading. on: July 28, 2021, 02:44:45 PM
Hodling is better than Trading.
Others I agree but this one is subjective. Yes it could be easier cause you only need to wait but the word "better" might be different from others perspective. From those trading with huge high rate of profiting and can easily understand the market movement then they may not agree with this.

I am both holder and a trader and I can say that there are pros and cons to both that everyone can justify with.
4432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: July 28, 2021, 01:34:55 PM
Check out Abra's interest rate through stable coins. They got 8% for stable coins as you stake it but IIRC, they were 10% before. I don't know the reason what's with the decrease in interest but that's still higher than your current in Binance.
This is their main website: https://www.abra.com/earn-interest-on-crypto/
Wow this is a pretty good APR already.

Thanks for sharing mate.

If you're interested in lending pools, Alpaca offers some good rates as well:
  • BUSD - 10.2% APY
  • USDT - 12.4% APY
  • TUSD - 12.3% APY
Damn this one too. I am looking forward to review these platform. 10% is already a good deal. Will check the link you shared.

Abra and Alpaca has decent apy so I think I am looking into their terms. Hope there are more choices guys so we cam compared it.
4433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stablecoin staking on: July 28, 2021, 11:40:56 AM
Hello everyone I was wondering if you do have any idea which platform gives the best APY for stablecoins. Ive been staking some of mine on Binance but I did see how it got decreased overtime and trading is now more beneficial than doing staking. Beforr they got a savy 6% APY for usdt and busd but it got lowered, so I am looking for new platform to try on.

If you got some idea kindly share here thanks.
4434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Cost averaging help on: July 28, 2021, 07:58:47 AM
someone told me DCA is best for high fluctuate investments

If i have 1000$ (Still dont have need to save from job)

what is best way to do DCA?

100$ in BTC every month or what is the best way?

If the price of btc is super down. I think its better to buy it at a lower price one time than to do a dca on it. I think thats a pretty good move for me. Just a suggestion cause you dont know if the price would go up then you just manage to average it. Its also applicable but its always better to take advantage of a good entry price. My suggestion is only works for this kind of scenario but if its like this time then dca is good to limit the price to its movement.
4435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: July 28, 2021, 07:40:42 AM
I mean not like now that from Exchange we need to convert first to what Coins we need to receive before sending to our wallet , but is there any chance in the future that there will be Platform or system that we will be letting to do such?
You mean like swap automatically. Mostly mentioned is an exchange since for now this is the only way you can directly received it since you need to swap first it to the coin you desire. Its not hard actually cause exchange designed like that and even swap dex works like that. If you noticed uniswap you can directly swap a coin to another one even without a pair liquidity for that coin cause uniswap automated the process for you.
4436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could you please recommend your fave NFT games aside from AXIE? on: July 28, 2021, 03:25:11 AM
Watch out for Guild of Guardians. This is a new nft based blockchain game that willbbe release on 2022 I guess quarter 1 or 2. Not sure though. Their concept is rpg and Ive saw their alpha and definitely worth a time and money. They had their first nft sale before and got sold out. Probably their next sale would be a blast, since their community already had some sort of members like 40k but I am assuming this would go bigger.

Lucky I had purchased some of legendary heroes but will catch some rare and epic ones when the sale started.
4437  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: July 28, 2021, 03:20:59 AM
Good one! Had a list already and that's for sure a video that I'd enjoy. Yeah, totally not a one man job, as discussed above.
Wow thats great to know mate. I really like those cool art design and a video like that will definitely like by most users to watch.

I dont have a youtube account for subscription maybe I will create one now to follow that.
4438  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: July 27, 2021, 03:57:02 AM
So let's say I'd start filming tomorrow. What type of content/themes would you like to see?
Maybe a recap on the art competition held last 10th anniversary of bitcoin talk forum. I think its cool to see and filmed those submission arts and hand drawn designs.

Aside from others suggestion. I think its good if you have some designer for the clips so it can be uniform when you set a video. Just a suggestion but maybe you can handle it well @cyrus.
4439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you used a software of cross chain ? on: July 27, 2021, 03:28:54 AM
I heard that there is software for cross chain transfer. Have you used it before?
The only way probably is the huobi exchange. I used safepal before and its one of the best cross chain platform that can easily teade different coins and blockchains. But Im not sure whether they already supporting the hecochain.

Try evodefi, heard they already supported hecochain. Only few or none yet are into hecochain except those dedictaed platform for them.
4440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What More Should Satoshi Do? on: July 27, 2021, 03:03:56 AM
Tell me, what more should Satoshi do???
I think he did exactly enough for the people to benefit om the bitcoin privilege. Whether he shows up or not, could be a tremendous shocked to everyone.. His absence somehow make the world curios on why he left his creation. But did he actually left it, or silently building or contributing to bitcoin progress in secrecy. Who knows, Satoshi is so mysterious, Im also wondering what else he could add if his around.
