In the opening post it is well said about the mind of each and every cryptocurrency user. Everyone here could have experienced the same, looking back we cannot change anything. All that can be done is just focus on the market and move forward. Thinking of the mistake that led to the loss is no more gonna get back the loss. With cryptocurrency missed is missed forever, if you're lucky you might be profited in the long run.

BTC supplies only 21 million, and now there are 3 or 4 million BTC in the system. even though there is a little more BTC, we will also find it difficult to get BTC. then, it will take a long time. 2024 or 2026 are predicted that BTC supplies will run out.
we have to think about the prospect of the crypto world in the future, until today BTC has a function to stabilize the crypto world, but what happened if supplies BTC runs out? is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?
I think ETH or XRP will replace BTC. but my prediction XRP will dominate the market more than ETH, I doubt to ETH after the vitalik left from ETH. on the other hand, XRP always develops its platform every time.

I don't think either ETH or XRP are direct competitors with BTC; they offer different use cases. I am confident that both ETH and XRP will be big successes in their respective roles, however a $20k price per XRP seems impossible - you have to bear in mind supply as well as coin price, that is why marketcap is the most important measurement. Perhaps ETH and XRP can overtake BTC in marketcap, but to do so in individual coin price seems a huge stretch for ETH and nearly impossible for XRP. Every user know that ethereum or XRP is not gonna compete with bitcoin to take its position. Ethereum is the one that has got a potential base which too is serving majority of the cryptocurrency into usage. It has got the scaling issue, but the same will be sought. XRP from my view is good with centralized system and I prefer ethereum over XRP and other altcoins. |

i do not hope that cryptocurrensy what i hold will rise in price. i just know it. it will happed not far than in few years.
Just have patience, even I've got some tokens with me. By the time of the bull run taking the price reach close to $20000 my holdings too got a big value. I missed the opportunity and same as you I don't have hope that the recovery will happen with the respective token. But my mind never accepts to sell at such a lower price considering it's peak value. I've decided to keep hold of it until it reach the previous ath or else let it go useless. |

Bear market is already over, we are in the bull market now. Have you seen how the price move in the past few days, that's all bullish movement and we have big price increase in less than a week. Price increase or the market moving from the bear market to bull trend doesn't seem to make the future more successful. From my knowledge we need to have a continued adoption to keep the growth continued, without the low bottom people into the usage it isn't possible to make the cryptocurrency reach a level same as that of the fiat in the future. |

The effort made by Op is really a big thing, each and every user here could've contributed to the increase in the adoption of bitcoin through the word of mouth spreading. It is hard to make people use bitcoin, myself have explained about cryptocurrency to more than 15 users but just about three started using it. Maybe through them someone too could've started using it.

I get your point but I think its not right to say other coins are just shitcoins and just a pump and dump scheme.
We all know bitcoin is on the top of every existing coins today but there's also promising coins that has potential and can be labelled the same as bitcoin when it comes to giving the users convenience by using it and profit as well.
Thats why nowadays its a must to have knowledge in the coins you want to invest in to avoid ending up in shitcoins.
Agreed, just tagging any coin with scam or shitcoin isn't the fair way of calibrating the potential of cryptocurrency. We all know we've got 2000+ cryptocurrencies added to coinmarketcap. From this we can segregate the right one, even several shitcoin have progressed in long run. So, it is about the development, the product behind it as well as the need for it in real world. |

Over the past week the market turned bullish from the long traveled bear trend. We don't get to know how perfect is the bull market, but the market is quite strong compared to the days back to few weeks. yeah, that's right. i think the bitcoin position will not be shifted by any altcoin including XRP or ETH. bitcoin will remain in its place now or in the future. indeed XRP or ETH is a good altcoin, but both of them still need a long time to pursue the bitcoin position. As these altcoins will increase its adopting, bitcoin will also the same, so the chance BTC will be replace is very low. We enjoy seeing it this way, then we should get used to this ranking, as long as the entire market is growing we can call it a good competition. Ethereum is the only altcoin that has given hard competence to the bitcoin in the dominance level. With comparison to ethereum XRP isn't that progressive. XRP has got the potential to serve in the banking system much and upon the same it is much into adoption by more centralized financial services. When something becomes more expensive, automatically there will be more emergence of hackers. These hackers will be completely focused on the way to enter into someone's wallet and get the funds out of the same. The bear market has clearly been over since December. That's when it recorded the lowest price of the bottom, it's been pretty clear for about a month now that bitcoin wasn't gonna go lower than that. And now the bottoming out process is over too as bitcoin just broke out of the 4.5 month bottom. Bull market has just begun.
Agreed, from that point it wasn't pure bullish but some form of growth continued to happen with bitcoin. There isn't much of growth with altcoins by that time. Further slowly the market grew along with the growth of altcoins. It is quite hard for the market to recover, and now the present market has made a change over majority of the altcoins as well. Hope this growth continues marking a new ath. |

I guess you posted this to make us feel guilty, lol. Well you got me there.. . I do feel alittle guilty sometimes but you have to understand that not all gamblings are bad. Some are quite beneficial to gamblers and can earn them consistent income if they are good at it. Example of such gamblings are poker and other competitive gamblings. They are not based on luck or probability. It is a bit like trading cryptocurrency .
By the way, many governments promote worst form of gambling in order to raise fund. Example of such gambling is national lottery
Agreed, and most of the time I spend on gambling with the funds that I keep it for entertainment. If I get lucky I'll earn and if not my entertainment activities gets limited. This way I take it in the positive way limiting my unwanted at times. With this there isn't any guilt, and I could feel guilty if I force someone and they face loss. This hasn't happened yet. |

The bulk of the coins are useless coins that have no real value. And the time will come when more than 90% of all coins "disappear." Then a simple user will know the true uselessness of such coins.
Nevertheless, at least 200-400 altcoins will exist. Thus, you cannot call them useless. People do not only make money trading these tokens, but they use them for different purposes. Smart contracts are also in demand. Altcoins serve as a supporting platform, without this it is really a hard task to make bitcoin to stand unique in the market. When there is competence there will be growth. What we find with bitcoin and altcoins is the same. Also emergence of altcoins played a big part in making the cryptocurrency term more familiar all around. Also every altcoin has got some use case.
