4421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $20,500, BTC will give $4k+ move. Here is why on: December 04, 2020, 11:31:38 AM

It's ok though, at least we will know which traders that are sharing their analysis has weight and value or just another wannabee. So this could be a valuable advise or not.

Question though, which alt do the OP see that will give us a upside of x2 very quick? ETH or XRP?
I'm leaning towards XRP though, specially with the news of fork this December 12. But I'm not staying that long, just enough to give me some profits and then go back to bitcoin.

So you will be one of those XRP holders that will sell XRP after the snapshot?  Tongue
Yeah, then get out immediately as I'm not an XRP fan, just trying to squeeze some money and off I go, Lol. Just today, I have seen the price goes to $19,400 and I thought it will continue and try to go $20k again. Unfortunately, it goes down to $19k flat and I'm not sure if we are going to see it going below $19k again in the next 4 hours or so.

That $20k barrier is really hard to break right now. Take notice as well that the trading volume has somewhat slow as well.
4422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 12:59:25 PM
It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.
Perhaps it was not their priority at this point, maybe the first thing they want to do is create a desktop wallet and then move to mobile. Yes, I agree that having a mobile wallet is very important as this may make our life easier but we still have other options.

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
Again, it boils down to preference, me? I don't mind to use a desktop wallet, much easier to me. One thing to note though that having a mobile wallet might be more vulnerable to attacks as it is always online.
4423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 03, 2020, 12:22:55 PM
The odds for a Spence winning by decision is still very attractive, boosted to @1.79. I already place my bet, not waiting as it might go down a bit.
I will say that it is a good bet.

My rationale is that Danny Garcia, hasn't been knock-out and it will be hard pressed for Errol to do that. And one advantage of Spence is that Garcia doesn't have any head movement, so he can hit it but Danny's has a good chin as well so for me there will be no knock out here, and probably Spence will be a unanimous or split decision winner here.

So I'm not expecting any upset.
Perhaps he hasn't been touch, but I would say that in the Thurman fight, he was hit solidly by Thurman but didn't buckle a bit, and it was really a close fight but the judges awarded the fight to Thurman. The same with the Porter, he was accurate, but Shawn is the busy fighter and that's what the judges saw, he wasn't knock out or knock down, but we all know that Shawn, can't even crack an egg, Lol.
4424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 03, 2020, 11:40:15 AM
Is this news reported here? LeBron James reportedly agrees to two-year, $85 million contract extension.

Quote
LeBron will now be with the Lakers through 2023, his 20th season in the league. Not coincidentally, that is the year his son Bronny graduates high school, and LeBron has mused about playing a season at the same time as his son in the NBA. (However, talks about doing away with the one-and-done college rule have stalled on the NBA side, and that rule may well be in place in 2023. Bronny is considered an NBA prospect but not an elite-level talent by scouts.)

So there is a possibility that we might someday see his son Bronny, play along with his father in the NBA and this could be historic feat for Lebron and his son. And if this happen, we will all be privilege to see this in our lifetime.  Smiley
4425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: December 03, 2020, 11:17:35 AM
Not just bitcoin but even others have live through their profits in 2017 doing some bounty campaigns. And I remember there where threads around saying that some of them have quit their job and focus on being a bounty hunter and doing some trading because it gives them so much money. But that was 2018, so most probably majority of them suffered worst financially as we enter the bearish trend.

As for me, yeah many has change since I go full crypto, lots of ups and downs along the way, but I would say that it is still good though, made profits and help me understand what bitcoin and investment is all about specially that majority here was in the 2017 bull run and I'm sure they have experience a lot but learn a precious lessons in bitcoin investment.
4426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $20,500, BTC will give $4k+ move. Here is why on: December 02, 2020, 10:52:17 PM
~ I guarantee.~

In a crypt, no one can give guarantees, you greatly overestimate your capabilities. In addition, it seems to me that you have a very weak justification for your prediction - why did you decide that exactly the levels that you voice are important? Your post looks like another unfounded prediction.

It's ok though, at least we will know which traders that are sharing their analysis has weight and value or just another wannabee. So this could be a valuable advise or not.

4427  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2020, 09:44:07 PM
Finally the wait is over as Bitcoin has got a new ATH before the begining of December, what's next? Now we will so too many speculations with title like "Bitcoin to moon" Bitcoin will reach $1,00,000 within few months and all. But we really need to set right expectations in order to make sure we don't get carried away with the market chaos, I feel we need to wait for atleast a week and do various factors which might affect the value of Bitcoin for atleast one month before making any decision about buying or selling in order to stay safe.
The question is whether we can sustain this run or see a massive drop. I haven't seen the price touch $19,9++ though, so I'm not sure if we really did get to a new ATH or not. Regardless though, at the current price movement of $19,400-$19,500 definitely a new ATH is possible. But I'm more worried as there could be a sell-off. So let's see how it goes, and just hope for the best again.

Patience is the key is we wanted to make a profit and wait what 2021 will bring.
4428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 30, 2020, 09:00:26 PM
Many teams are coming out stronger, that is confusing many gambler to really know who to bet for this NBA season, that is making some fans think los Angeles will be the one to win this NBA champion this season. Los Angeles players are well organized through out all the matches they have played which is leading them to champion 2020. los Angeles will win the NBA champion with this strategies they are using to remain in 45 point to top all team in this tournament.
We haven't started the season yet, Los Angeles Lakers have also lost a bunch of their quality players so we really have to see if the new players are going to blend with the team.

And as you have said, many team are coming stronger as well, so it's going to be tough for the Lakers. They need to play very good almost every night just to stay on top. Miami Heat wasn't expected to be on top of the Eastern Conference, it means that they are a lot of surprising coming in this season. The favorite might not come on top and be the champions, just saying.
4429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to list new token on: November 30, 2020, 08:41:04 PM
A exchange might list a new token for a cheap price, but the question is liquidity and trading volumes.

If you list your token to a exchange that doesn't have those two criteria, most likely your token will also  have the same, no trading volume, and that's why there are shit exchanges and shit coins because of this.

If you want your project to succeed then don't look for exchanges that list free or ask for just a small fee, go for a least a mid-tier exchange.
4430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks above $19,000 on: November 29, 2020, 10:36:37 PM
I am sure that by the new year, the price of BTC will exceed the historical maximum and will be more than $ 20,000. if you look carefully at the chart and study it from the point of view of technical analysis, it is quite possible to predict this.

Of course technical analysis can somewhat point to a new all time high, but we can't really predict the market accurately, as we all know it is based on pure speculation so any news can affect the price. But everyone is looking at the end of the year that we could potentially see the price going to $20k. So it is possible as we have slowly retake the $18k level in the last 24 hours. And then this week, if everything has subside, no panic from investors, then we might attempt to get back to $19k.
4431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: November 29, 2020, 10:12:04 PM
No, it simply won't replace bitcoin, actually I doubt that any altcoin can take it because bitcoin is the price mover of crypto currency. And that is why the rest is called 'alternative coin'. During 2017, there was a thing called The Flippening, so called that ETH will replacement BTC but it didn't happened. And so is The Rippening, this time, XRP is touted to top BTC, but again, it never gets closed. To be fair with XRP it become #2 that time but ETH quickly regain the position.
4432  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Curve.Fi website on: November 29, 2020, 09:35:15 PM
Good job posting it here. Hoping some people find it before getting scammed and not after.

Once again your work is very appreciated.

They are targeting curve, this kind of liquidity pool are easy target for scammers because of the current hype and people might not be doing any research and perhaps can fall for this fake websites.
4433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: France's gambling recovers on: November 29, 2020, 09:08:28 PM
Gambling is not the solution, but generally it can help countries just like what France's report says. And that's why many countries are allowing casinos to be open with safety protocols. Even Vegas is already open, because they need to generate money to stir the economy.

And we all know that there are a lot of pros and cons of gambling whether online or offline. But then again, when the situation is getting worst, the government need all the help it need to stand up their economy and gambling is one sector that can really initiate the flow of money.
4434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guggenheim opens door to bitcoin exposure for $5 billion macro fund! on: November 29, 2020, 08:48:09 PM
Just to be clear, according to the article,

Quote
"The Macro Opportunities Fund may seek investment exposure to bitcoin indirectly through investing up to 10% of its net asset value in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ('GBTC'), a privately offered investment vehicle that invests in bitcoin," the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission read.

Not really sure what indirectly means, though, leastwise, if you look at the companies today, there are a lot of them directly wanted to have bitcoin in their portfolio, so this could be where the money could come if the price will push to 6 digits in the future.

4436  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday ở nước bạn năm nay thế nào? on: November 28, 2020, 11:21:24 PM
Not of significant I guess, people tend to save their money because we all know life is hard because of the pandemic so they would rather save money rather than spending it on Black Friday sales and discounts. Although there could be some individuals who are willing to buy things online and around, but we can't blame them though, good to spend money to keep the economy to at least make a start.
4437  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Cause of Price Hike Now in the Market? on: November 28, 2020, 11:01:17 PM
Yeah, just go back to the basic tokenomics of crypto, supply and demand.

We all know as we see another halving this year, supply has it's effect - increasing Bitcoin's scarcity, which based on historical logs is the catalyst for a huge price increase, a bull run months or years after the halving. So we are seeing the start of the bubble again and this will build up and eventually we are going to hit a peak. Just a question and matter of time what will be the top or all time high in this coming bubble.
4438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 28, 2020, 10:39:39 PM
Tyson's power for me is incomparable, though he lost 6 fights during his career the 50 fight he fought have won with 44 knockouts and to be honest, I still watch his career highlights til now. I'm rooting for Tyson in this fight, though this is not really a fight for a belt. We might see an old beast getting back to its old job wrecking people in a single round lol
This is more of an event that a real boxing match. Of course, Tyson will be the sentimental favorite and he can back it up because he might still have that raw power we have seen him during his prime years. Maybe it's not that powerful, but I think he still has some. Plus Jones doesn't have a good chin, and has been knockout in worst fashion specially when he lost his speed and it seems that he age faster than lets say his contemporaries like Bernard Hopkins.
4439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) is again in the news. Will it break its ATH before the Year Ends on: November 28, 2020, 09:49:56 PM
We will have to see after their schedule fork though, XRP is very volatile and we might see holders dumping it as soon as they good their free airdrop token. Specially if the price of XRP is around $1.x or even more during the fork. So I doubt that it will break it's ATH before the end of the year, it's simply on the FOMO stage right now. The real test is after the fork so stay tuned and see how everything will pan out. If it's going to touch or go to a new ATH, its probably next year.

Suchmoon does an amazing job and he is the most generous merit source of this forum. But other merit sources must find good posts to merit on their own to spread the merit as most as possible.
Or merit sources or even members who want to spend their merits for quality post can simply check this thread, [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source.
