It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls

Yes mobile wallet just make things more easier, I've turned away from many new projects because they don't build mobile wallet, not everyone owns a computer but everyone owns a smartphone, I'm wondering what our developers are thinking this days, infact mobile wallets should always comes first

I don't think it will be more important, because mobile wallets are made for greater convenience for users and the problem is annoying but i do not, most of the big transactions i do on PC, for small transactions mobile wallet is a lot easier. But basically for a project they need to do a lot of work, so depending on the roadmap they will release that product sooner or later.

Hardware wallet is the best, but if you can't afford it, you can use Electrum Wallet. Electrum is an open source wallet and it's completely free, like your own bank. Never hold on to Coinbase or any other exchange. This is very risky. Electrum wallet is best after hardware wallet.

Mobile wallets can be one of things people will consider but not the reason will decide they invest or not invest. The project's specifications and potentiality to be a game changer will decide investment decisions. You can visualize it with two websites: one website with polishing design and one with boring design but some scam projects or PONZI have such polishing and attractive design to attract investors. At the ends, they don't create any product or if have products, poor quality ones.

Yes mobile wallet just make things more easier, I've turned away from many new projects because they don't build mobile wallet, not everyone owns a computer but everyone owns a smartphone, I'm wondering what our developers are thinking this days, infact mobile wallets should always comes first
If you are obssesed by mobile wallets and store all of your crypto on your mobile devices (phones or tablets), you will be under a serious loss in the future. I don't deny the convenience of mobile devices and wallets for mobile but don't store all your money on mobile.

I'm currently having same issue with Veil privacy coin, I invested in this coin in 2018 and I was forced to download the windows wallet, got the recovery seed and address, bought some coins and deposit but after I sold my PC but until this day the team still don't release a mobile wallet, if the coin pumps today I won't be able to sell because

1. I don't have PC anymore
2. The whole blockchain data is over 32gig of data

Even if I have to get a PC from a friend I'd still have to worry about buying huge data to download the blockchain.

Whether it is important or not depends on the user, if I use a mobile wallet it is also very important,
because it makes it easier in any case, such as sending crypto easily without turning on a PC, receiving crypto easily, and other things,
indeed there are many mobile wallets now, such as Trustwallet, IMToken, etc., because they are easy to use and store,
making users choose a mobile wallet.

I do agree that mobile wallet is crucial nowadays and just feel more convenient but a new project usually lacking the resource to create one therefore they decide to make desktop or web wallet just to test the water. Once the project kicks off and gaining more and more attention they will eventually create mobile wallet. maybe there's technical reasoning behind that decision we don't know for sure and I guess most of blockchain developers specializes in desktop or web.

That is what happens to the new project because many of that project can not run their project for the long term.
Many of the projects cancel their project or stop developing the project because of many factors we don't know.
But if you choose a reliable project such as bitcoin and another altcoin, you can see that the team is still working on their project and will make sure that their project is still running for a long time.
Maybe having a mobile wallet is the best solution for people, but remember that some people still prefer to hold the coin in a cold wallet.
You can search for the project with a mobile wallet to store their token or coin, so their users can use the mobile wallet without having a problem or need to buy other devices to save the coin.

Having a mobile wallet ina project is a huge plus for investors. People want convenience and the best way to provide this is through mobile wallet apps. It may not be highly recommended as to the security, but being able to use your cellphone to check, transfer, withdraw and etc is a huge factor.

You don't get it, there are some new projects that are running on a new blockchain, they have no mobile wallet but windows and Linux wallets only, that's why people are complaining cos everyone owns smartphones not PC, smart developers should know that almost all humans have access to mobile phones this days but less humans have PC in their homes, when a new project get launched mobile wallet should be the first available wallet for the project

That's quite true, convenience and easy accessibility is the main aim and thats why most people values mobile apps or mobile wallets nowadays. Also, this issue is found mainly for projects using their own blockchain while as for those based on already developed blockchain, users need not to worry unless the platform want to develop their own mobile wallet which will also run on already developed blockchain. Furthermore, in as much as developing a mobile wallet makes a platform look serious, one still need to be careful because developing a mobile wallet is one thing and maintaining it through more Improvements is another, and this is where most team are found wanting. So in essence, let's not use mobile wallets as a huge criteria in knowing a good platform that will last long term, because if the team run out of ideas or gets fade up or the project gets tough, they can still abandon the project.

That's very true, people want the easiest way out when doing things, mobile wallet is the best option over windows wallet because there is no need for any syncing, on windows wallet you can only make transactions on the blockchain if you fully sync the blockchain and that's downloading large amount of data, it's going to cost alot

You can suggest this to the developers of the project that you are following. Maybe they don't think that it's necessary for them to create their own token. But once they have heard someone talking to them with sense and demand like this, they might think of it and do it in expedite.

Let me Ask you "are those project that you mentioned has a currency that accepted in merchant?" because if does then that's good to have their own wallet,But if those shitcoins will only stay in that wallet then whats the purpose of creating one?
and Also it will Look like Ponzi as the wallet that will be place to stored the Coins of their own is in company's position as They can easily manipulate the system and investors might lose their funds.
Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
and Besides There are so many existing wallet now all you need to do is store your coins on those and youare ready to go.

what altcoin do you mean?, as I know Top altcoin on market cap already had a mobile wallet application. If a new project only forked where the mobile wallet isn't ready yet, they must modify themselves and create new innovation for that. This means we should far away from the new project because they don't have a strong team yet, it could be a fall in the market cap.

Hardware wallet is the best, but if you can't afford it,
you can conecting hardware wallet into a mobile phone, but the problem is the new project didn't have that option.

Friend ... What do you know about cryptocurrency in general? You put one wallet, you immediately need the third wallet. And for other coins. And as a result, you have 10 wallets on your phone. And then you no longer know which wallet from what.

Personally, my mobile phone is a separate laptop))) As they say, safety is above all. Until the cryptocurrency closely cooperates with companies issuing plastic cards, we will not see convenient multi-wallets that will affect all areas of life.

i dont think mobile wallet is that important unless you need those security features because almost all exchanges right now have online wallet and mobile app. unless your coin is some unknown obscure coin that will be different matter...

you could  deploy some remote desktop and control it from your phone if you dont have any pc to open the wallet and if the wallet need to download many gigs of files remote desktop is already enough.

Popular multi wallet platforms can implement any new coin at any time, it depends on the project team, once upon a time there was no single working Monero mobile wallet, I was so into Monero at the time but I couldn't buy or mine Monero because of lack of mobile wallet, in 2018 everything changed, XMR came into coinomi wallet and it works very well, I believe that mobile wallet are more user friendly than PC counterparts

I agree, mobile wallets are very convenient nowadays, but it is not necessary for every project to have its own wallet, you can use, for example, Trust Wallet, which supports all coins.
