4421  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 29, 2021, 01:47:11 PM
Whenever there is drop in the price there'll be increased buying or selling. During the previous bull market when the price dropped people considered it an opportunity and made continuous buying, but the market didn't move as predicted. This time the drop in the price is bullish after the drop. Users who believed and took risk has got the benefit out of it.
Because the common instinct of the people is to buy at low and they are taking the opportunity in every drop they saw. They are right maybe but I don't if they are able to manage their investment if the market will fall more. Might lead them to sell it immediately at a losing stake.

We don't need to rush, we need to be more cautious enough and analyze the market first before buying. The correction will be inevitable, yet to happen all the time. If we fall into our foolish minds, being greedy and buy more because of seeing small declines, that also be a reason that gives us losses.
4422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 01:05:05 PM
I look backward and see a lot of challenge facing bounty hunters and I can only see that things will get harder. The mental stress of looking for the right bounty to promote, waking up in the middle of the night for several hours to complete tasks for months just to realized you won't get $1 for all your time.

Feels the disappointments when are seriously doing our task, promoting something but never paid off. Every bounty hunters experience the same but wondering why they are still joining bounties even they know that possibly they won't receive any from the company. I don't know if there are tired of doing this or they never find another way to make money in here.

There is no realization happening around, if they don't give up participating bounties, they will still become a victim to a no-pay campaign (again and again). It might be the time to open up our minds and stop doing this.
4423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 29, 2021, 12:28:34 PM
Feels bad about the things happened to them I didn't really expect there is a scenario like this its looks like winning a huge money exchange to your life well if that happens In my case I will choose to enjoy my life than winning a large amount of money. I think this kind of story is almost all effective on the people have trouble with their nervous system, too many emotions and better I'm not saying this is really the factor but we know having too many emotions such as excitement might cause a different impact to our body some of them cant handle their emotions and this towards to a failure to their body.  This is too bad if you have a problem to your body and give a burst emotions this may trigger something cause towards a failure or damage. Life over money.
If that only we know how to manage our emotion but for the others, they are out of it and even a cause of their death. For a thousand people winning the jackpot prize every day, I don't think about 1% of them having such ends. These people who have been reported to die after winning the jackpot have something wrong with their heart that trigger for a shocking end.

Maybe we don't have to encourage oldies or those who have heart problems will gamble. Might wondering as well if there is someone who dies because they lose a lot in gambling? That either be possible as well.
4424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 29, 2021, 05:14:25 AM
snip...

Nost gambling forms in the Philippines which was illegal had been permitted by the government with certain restrictions. Gambling is a big industry and it will be impossible to fully control or stop such activities, so they chose to govern and make it legal and give some restrictions so that they can also benefit from it through taxes. Which is a win-win situation for gamblers and the government. Gambling is part of our culture, even with the government's restriction people will find ways to gamble.
They are not even to stop because of the authorities' laxity. The sad thing is that some of the authorities are running such illegal gambling, who wants to stop them, none? It is just the way we think that illegal gambling will still exist for the next generation and I don't believe there was an end to this issue.

As the spread of gambling continues, more young adults get into trouble and addiction. It's up for us to stop our own rather than to stop the whole thing of gambling. Less hopes it become possible since the government also benefiting from this.
4425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every candle tells a story on: January 29, 2021, 04:36:14 AM

When trading try to relate to each story told by both the bearish and bullish market
Knowing how to read the candle stick is very important in trading and you are right, it tells a story, and that it guides us a traders when to sell and when to buy. Not actually hard to understand this but of course, this also needs for us to analyze it.

I usually visualize the market trend base to candle stick, setting to 1 hr, in a week, you will know what is going on in the past days and might get some hints what is the possible incoming. Might be funny, but it sometimes does the counting.
4426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 11:27:24 PM
There is only one thing that you need to avoid from trading
* never accept an offer from someone you don't know.
Never give money to someone for them to use in their trading but it's fine to pay them if they provide teachings or tutorials we know for a fact that we benefitted from their teachings and that we really learn. Actually it's better to ask for tutorials like handson or 1 on 1 that by just watching. Sometimes those we don't know can give us better understanding than those we know but there's a price to be paid, just be careful to anyone we deal with.
That only it stops there. Having them for a week or a month in teaching is I think enough for us to know, we can also learn a lot more if we keep engaging in actual trading. Besides, there are a lot of online tutorials where we can see on YouTube freely in which we never need to spend money, In fact, this is a tool helping me to trade. I know it is only the basic things they show but it was enough for me. This helping us also to avoid any unnecessary messages receive from an unknown person.
4427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About people that bought too early [and lost them] on: January 28, 2021, 11:04:46 PM
This month that bitcoin has risen abruptly compared to the previous months, a lot of people have created new topics asking for help about their funds. For example this gentleman appeared out of nowhere after 9 years that had bought bitcoins and created a new thread, explaining that he found a paper wallet that was damaged in his closet. And now I'm asking myself, why now? Let's assume that he had bought 100 bitcoins in 2012. By 2016, he would have a great fortune. By the end of 2017 an even bigger.

Don't they read the news? Because if I had bought that amount of coins a decade ago, I'm sure that I'd see out of curiosity how well it has gone. Since the paper wallet was in his closet, it means that he didn't care that much.

Another bad example is this thread in which iwoswinvs (who is probably a liar) announces on a forum that he owns 50,000 bitcoins. I think there are more people like the first one, though.
Anyway, I don't believe their stories, they are only in the hype. If people will think that it real and they are telling the truth, I really don't think about it. Because there is no reason why you will forget your investment and then you can just remember at this time, a thing to be ridiculous and obviously pretty lies.

It possible that there are a lot of lost bitcoins but I don't think it can be of this amount hold by a single person. Usually, it happens that they lost their private keys, abandoned wallet address,  stuck on the exchanges, and etc...
4428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kraken Delists XRP on: January 28, 2021, 02:31:56 PM
As we all know that XRP is in trouble and recently it is delisted by the coin base. Another exchange is known as "KRAKEN" also announces to delist XRP for US customers on 29/01/2021 at 5PM PT. I think if that happens then XRP will be fall to $0.2 or $0.18.
Is it safe to invest in the XRP or we have to still wait for the stability of the XRP?
They are in the worst case, SEC never gives them a chance but totally cuts them off from the market.

How I wish that XRP holder will sell their coins anytime before they were late and cannot make a trade for it. Because as of this time, more exchangers are closing down their trades on XRP and delisting it. It can be soon that XRP will be no longer to see in crypto.

TBH, I actually love XRP coz this is helping me to save fees in transferring (in/out) but very unfortunate that it ends like this.
4429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: January 28, 2021, 01:59:55 PM
Bitcoin may drop to a low level because usually there will be a lot of FUD and other scenarios that cause the value of Bitcoin to fall after bitcoin reaches the highest level (for example $ 30K). something like that wasn't just once. but has been several times. So, in my opinion, there will be possibility that bitcoin will drop its value to a low level.
The fact that there is a possibility to drop, might have a possibility to pump as well. That all we don't know what will happen this year (2021), everything still out of our control but I can believe and keep trusting Bitcoin will even grow more as the market spread continues, more investors are coming, and the so-called crypto adoption where we can say that many companies are on the insights.

Besides, if we can picture the current movement, that seems impossible to see a huge correction. FUDs are no longer a form of distraction, they have rejected.
4430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 28, 2021, 01:31:47 PM
I can remember how McGreggor asking Mayweather for a fight. And now, Askren has been also desperate after a quick loss vs Masdival, yeah it probably of the same ending.

I look forward also that ben would win but the problem is he won't have a boxing skill. He might good in MMA but boxing is a big difference and that 3 months in preparation is not long enough to develop and put him in a firm. If he could extend their fight schedule, much better and probably have a chance to win.
4431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 28, 2021, 09:12:05 AM
I think all gambling sites have been stated already. What I want to say for you OP is to take what you feel is good. I don't suggest you of trying them all, its a time consuming, might be good for you is to choose the known one and has been stabilized for a very long time. Anyway, I give you a tip, try freetbitcoin (https://freebitco.in), just I hope you like it. For sure, it was a user-friendly gambling site and as a newbie, it won't make you hard to understand.
4432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for Trading on: January 27, 2021, 11:29:40 PM
Have you been successful in your trading carrier?

Well, these tips are simple to say but the question is if traders are consistently applying them. The most common problem why traders had to fail is that they are not committed to their goal( they don't have).

FUDs, FOMO? These are something special and most new traders have been fooled.
Greediness is normal that is why we have to work but in a way we have to set a limit, should not be over otherwise, it also gives you losses.
4433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 27, 2021, 10:51:42 PM
This is the result of the XRP SEC case
https://www.coindesk.com/xrp-untradeable-sec-security

XRP is done and very hopeless to see its price recover after the result. I think all of their investors are moving their XRP coins off from their wallet which is the best option to take rather than being patient to wait for its recovery coz it is probably no more chance.

And even before the case, people are in doubt about this coin, a centralized coin could never be giving us a bigger price but still consistent below $1.
4434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 11:27:02 PM
Okay so I saw bitcoin early days because a competitor site owner briefly offered it as a payment method for their products. I thought this cryptocurrency will never work because it will either 1). get regulated / shut down, or 2). never be accepted by the general populous.

Neither of these happened and finally I bought a diversified holding of £10,000 in 2019 to hedge against future pain. I still have this holding untouched including 1 btc and have no plans to sell it until I am sure it has hit full critical mass or goes to zero.

My question: Should I just forget about bitcoin now and go back to my business?
If that you are able to see how many big and known companies are adopting and accumulating Bitcoin at this time? This simply means that these companies are positively thinking that they can make absolute money from cryptocurrency. They are not looking just for now but they are looking at the possible development in the near future. They probably saw that Bitcoin price will likely grow and surely in demand as the years coming where more people are utilizing such digitalization.

You must have to think about it and the best is to consider the possible changes in the future so you won't be left behind from the market competition.
4435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 26, 2021, 11:02:30 PM
One way it can be called as cheating. By the time we must think of the study they've made in making the impossible possible. It isn't an easy task to study the possible chances and succeed in it. Working as a team had made them achieve. With casinos, cheats and tricks were followed but that doesn't assure consecutive wins. What these people have achieved is big. I truly appreciate the way they've made millions.
Impressive study either. Cheating is bad but what they did is just to help casinos to give warn and make them aware of their strategy, security, and possibility on the system they use. They should be thankful to these cheaters as well.

This will be for a good reason and I don't think it is totally bad. Many had tried to cheat but only a few of them succeed, that is how those people had mentioned by the OP are gifted. But as technology improves, this kind of work will possibly not win, they will surely be caught in the act. Better not to do it this time, otherwise you will end up in jail.
4436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 26, 2021, 10:39:14 PM
...
But that will not worth it if you lose too much money to chase the jackpot because you never know how much money you will lose.
Buying the lottery ticket will be cheap, and that is why many people like to buy many tickets because they hope they can win the jackpot or the other prizes.
We can have hope to win the jackpot someday, but we must know that the lottery game is based on luck, and that will not be easy to win.
I prefer to buy the tickets for some time, and not trying to buy more tickets because that will need more money to spend.
For more than 2 years buying a lottery ticket (not everyday) but never have a chance to win the jackpot prize. Only I put in my mind that I don't have luck this time, it can be someday and that only becomes true if I keep buying lottery. You are right, maybe I have to lose more money before having that moment to arrive.

For now, I am thinking about stopping joining the lottery game. If there is no luck for me until the end of this year, that will be the time I finally stop and look for another opportunity where I can make good money not based on luck.
4437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do so many people lose their positions due to Bitcoin's decline? on: January 26, 2021, 01:20:45 PM
Trading financial instrument , derivatives have high risk , and having full knowledge of risk management of position size is a key to make a quality decision. The fundamental impacts news can make you rich or rekt you especially when the hype in social media get built up.  Many people lost their portfolio because of lack of market structure. Not every dip or rally you jump into.  These is my view why many lost during this Bitcoin decline.

Not to wonder why most traders had ended badly. Some never know what they are doing, some just jump into crypto because someone told them to do so. And the sad thing is that they never know the risk they face in trading and obviously they don't have enough knowledge for this.

So many traders got failed and only a few of them stand strong and correct their mistakes that is why they are still in trading until now. If we are on that kind of market approach and accept mistakes and make way to correct them, a big chance to succeed. Besides, no one been on the top instantly but most traders did suffer difficulties before they reach their goal.
4438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy more Bitcoin on: January 26, 2021, 12:13:34 PM
That's really a lot of money, I really do think Bitcoin is now being distinguished by big investors and companies your advice about buying Bitcoin is right, we should have Bitcoins as much as possible now it's just a matter of time before the price goes up again.
That it looks like that there is no ending bullish trend this year because big companies are seeing much potential in crypto and they are coming from time to time. I thought I was seeing bad news but this seems more interesting to see. From this, I'll be expecting another known name will announce their integration to crypto (particularly for Bitcoin).

Maybe we encourage people to hold their Bitcoin for a while as the price will rise back shortly. Or, maybe we have to buy more before it starts kicking.
4439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 26, 2021, 11:44:50 AM
Hi Karl,

It is you again.
talking about gambling. Well, 2021 has a good start for crypto where the most promising coins are rising but somehow very unfortunate that I saw no change in my gambling experience. Maybe it was not a lucky day for me but still hoping that someday, I might win the jackpot prize. Yeah, I don't lose my hope actually. Or maybe I have to lose more before I got the jackpot, seems ridiculous right?
4440  Economy / Speculation / Re: When The Inevitable Happens With The Dump - What Will Bitcoin Be Worth? on: January 25, 2021, 11:54:27 PM
If we compute an 80% decrease from its ATH, it plays below $10k. And yet, we are still far from it and that seems a long wait to go or we remain at the high level rejected the next bearish season for the first time. If we are buying at $5k before, even the dump will come we are still profiting.

That to say that history repeats itself, I don't think it was happening for this time. TBH, that was not what I saw in the market trend but to see a different situation in which the pandemic is a big factor that causes it changes and making another great history.
