4421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 16, 2020, 10:47:58 PM
Who can stop Giannis?
He is keep rolling with amazing plays and performances something that I didn't expect happening when the season started.

That was the same impression of him last year. Also, the reason why he got the Season MVP title. But ended up eliminated in Eastern Conference Finals even they are up by 2 wins on their first 2 games. His dominance was able to stop even how monster he is prior to ECF and I think the majority was surprised.

We might have seen an unstoppable Giannis today, as usual, but I want to see him maintain that dominance up to the finals.

Now, who can stop Giannis? Let's see on playoffs.

Yeah I dont think there is any surprise here really.  Giannis did not break out this year, he was this good last year too.  Come playoff time if he wants to make a name for himself he needs to dominate there too and carry his team.  I dont see a situation in the east where the bucks dont win a 7 game series.  One game is anyone's game but over 6-7 games I like the bucks here.

It's best to just wait for the playoffs as that's the stage of the game where Giannis has to solve.
They were embarrassed by the Raptors last playoffs after they easily beat the Celtics but since no raptors in the east, probably now the real challenge is in the NBA finals, that if they will have the same easy journey again like last year.

What to expect from a young core with an injured super hyped rookie.
Hype is normal because we are talking about the number 1 overall pick.

I don't think the Pelicans will be able to secure a spot in the playoffs since they are less experienced team.
Well, Dallas are also a young team but they are in the playoff ranking now, so it's not impossible for the Pelicans to bounce back by winning games once their best player comes back, they are young but full of talent, I believe.

Do you really believe that their number 1 rookie is their best player? Well, I don't think so since he hasn't proven anything yet and his playstyle is not suitable to carry a team. Anyways, that's based only on my own observation when he was in college.

The fact that people are hyping Zion Williamson, they seem to believe that he will give his team a boost.
Well we haven't seen him played yet in regular season yet but he had an awesome pre season stats with an average of 23.3 points.
https://www.foxsports.com/nba/zion-williamson-player-stats?seasonType=3

he has to bring that in regular season...

Some people would have been lured into the BSV saga and before their eyes will be opened, there would have been a huge loss. I was almost tempted to buy too, but i had to give it a critical thought.
It was a sudden pump, why should i fall for it. In fact, right from day one, i never trusted BSV.

only those newbie will be tempted to buy, as expected, BSV starting to dump its price now because it's literally the hype alone is just the main reason of the pump. Looking at the chart right now, let's see where it lands.

4424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: January 16, 2020, 10:16:36 AM
It's too easy to say the bull run is coming, but look at the price right now, it's not even on the $10k mark, I think this year it would take only one miracle to get back to the $10k mark. To be honest, I've heard this phrase all the time and it seems that most people spread it to raise the excitement but unfortunately it won't be enough, Bitcoin is very volatile and new investors will doubt it with today's price so we can't really guarantee that raising the hype would lead to a bull run.

I think with what is happening, it is possible that Bitcoin could reach $10,000 in the near future because the market is starting to stabilize and investors are excited about investing. You may still be afraid to invest in this market but this year things will be different and Bitcoin will certainly reach a new high price. However, risks can still occur at any time if the bear market returns.
$10, 000 is not a hard number, if the market is bullish now, definitely we will see that price.
last year we had $13,000 before it fall back to $7000 by december but slowly the market is improving so probably we will back to $10,000 again soon.

Thus far, the month of January is bullish IMO.
4425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: January 15, 2020, 12:07:04 PM
I hold only several yet lucrative coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and some newly listed yet rising coins in my portfolio. I exchange mostly instead of keeping them for a long time. Many altcoins have a great potential to go up massively in the future, but instead I prefer to trade them to make short term gains. At this time, Bitcoin is going to go up suggesting that bull market is almost happening and those who have been keeping their Bitcoin since last year will be given the opportunity to take benefit at any moment.

Everyone has a different type, sometimes you are suitable for short-term investments by trading daily or investing long-term by buying some potential Altcoin. I also still hold several coins for my long-term investment, such as BNB, LTC and AE. But Bitcoin is also very suitable for long-term investment.
Because if you will only focus on long term trading, you will have to wait longer especially when the market is suffering.
It's advisable to divide our investment into short term and long term and my strategy is I always take capital when i see an opportunity to sell for a profit, then I will invest the rest for long term investment, who knows that long term could be a short term but the opposite could also happen so just have to be ready.
4426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 11:55:15 AM
BSV market and BSV price are growing well, BSV is getting bigger, more investors come, BSV community will be bigger, ... BSV will beat ETH soon. let's see.  Cheesy
That's only possible if BSV will have a sustainable growth, it's too early to judge, when there's a pump, normally it's followed by a dump and it's very clear that the reason for pump is only the hype, this would not last long believe me.
4427  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC which price it's heading next? on: January 15, 2020, 11:21:39 AM
Lately, the movement of bitcoin tends to increase and although slowly but surely, and in my opinion to reach $ 10K in the near future will be achieved and although not in the near future but this year will reach $ 10K or exceed that price.

Good or better that way, we don't have to push things faster if we want to see a stable price of BTC.
As btc rise, there could be a possibility of it dropping again but as long as it bounce back, that's always nice to watch.

In the first quarter regardless on how the price will move, I am very much expecting that at least btc will reach $10,000.
4428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 10:21:22 AM
what makes you think ETH is a scam? is it because of their smart contract? BSV pump due to FUD. I am not sure that the creator of BSV really has what he said. today Ethereum also has a rise. so I think ethereum is still good. and BSV will still be a failed product from Bitcoin. I still hold Ethereum.

It is true that I am still holding fast to Ethereum and I still hold it because I believe that someday ETH will also be pumped like BSV.
Only a fool would say Ethereum SCAM. Because Ethereum currently has a lot of smart contracts, including other large projects, it is likely that Ethereum will also be back in terms of price.
Believe it because Ethereum is a famous altcoin.

True that, there's a possibility that it will pump that hard and suddenly BSV is already ranked at the number 4 spot, if there will be a new big pump again, it might take over the rank of ETH but of course we don't have to worry about that as every coin has it's own time and ETH's time is near for sure.

BSV marketcap is already $6 billion now.

4429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 14, 2020, 11:17:50 PM

Well, BSV has only recently had a good run, but before that both were down around 90%.

Prepare for the big dump also because what comes up must go down.
Despite of the criticism on craig wright, still BSV are still pumping but I believe this is just an artificial pump that would not last for long.

SO BEWARE!
4430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: January 14, 2020, 10:41:42 PM
Speculation is not a talent, we can not rely on it because it was based solely on our set of views. You don't discuss with your own and you've only got those ideas from other people that have been gathered to share them with someone who wants them. We don't need to be an authority on this as long as you're willing and determined to come up with a certain attitude, so you're strong enough to guess.

We can all speculate but people with talent has a good speculation and they will end up profitable with it.
Like right now, as the market is moving uptrend, people are sure starting to determine the reason and they will speculate on what's next so they can have a good entry point.
4431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 14, 2020, 01:05:53 PM
Well, If you are beginner with trading. I would recommend you do start with "money management" learning and then you can start with reading "candlestick patterns".
Also for the basics you can read "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets book by John J. Murphy"
Wish you luck, but always remember to start with a demo account and don't burn your money for getting experienced.
You can do trades on demo accounts for 6 months at last and when you saw yourself getting good profits you can start by investing real money.

Yeah, it is all started with the basics and moves to another step. No one will succeed instantly and the sad thing is that it all accompanied by difficulties, losses and as well as being hopeless. Knowing how to read charts and candlestick is another skill. Not probably a must but if we would like to see the improvement of our trading journey and become more profitable it is better to acquire this thing.
4432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 14, 2020, 12:42:24 PM
By 2020, there will be a lot of big changes in the cryptocurrency market, especially the psychology of investors will also change a lot because the future will be positive here. The economy will grow strongly.
Do we have any assurance with that? It's all been relying on hopes but it seems to be possible this year.
We already started with pumps this year and simply means that we still have a way to go farther as it takes. We live in this kind of market and not been thinking that it will collapse that makes us mentality think that this bearish will soon to resolve as we enter this 2020.
4433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 13, 2020, 12:34:12 PM
Most people who know cryptocurrency will choose using crypto for gamble because they see that when they used crypto, they can hide their identity from the government and the banks. They can play gambling on any site which has many options for the coin to gamble, so they don't have any problem with the process verification. I think in the future, the crypto gambling industry will become popular than the fiat gambling industry because people can gamble on many gambling websites without verifying their identities. And the best is they can play gambling in their home without going to the gambling places.
I doubt you can hide from the government or banks because once you get to win a lot, at some point you'll run in to the problem of cashing out your money. There are exchanges that don't do verifications but eventually it's getting less and less as countries are starting to notice the demand for cryptocurrency exchanges.

No, I cannot hide from the government because they will be suspicious of my bank account, and they will investigate me, and ask me where the money comes. That could be true that the exchanges will apply verification to avoid the illegal use of the money, and they want to help the government to prevent the bad thing that can come later. At that time, we can get trouble if we don't follow their rules, and that will make us cannot withdraw the money.

Then just give the government the right cut if they ask through "taxes"..we can always hide with our government if we are smart but most people can't so they easily get caught and if they don't have the knowledge to hide, they should just comply with the rules to avoid problem in the future.

let's just enjoy while there are still exchanges that don't require KYC.
4434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 13, 2020, 12:02:00 PM
Chances are that bitcoin may pull back to 7000$ or 6000$ after this artificial pump is over.

Everything is possible, we should be ready to that, however, prior to touching $8, we are struggling at $7k so let's just say there's a minor improvement.

Bitcoin has touched $8k accidentally due to Iran/USA tension, this doesn't mean bitcoin is going to moon or ATH very soon. Bitcoin is still in buying range try to buy right now to get future profit.
That's plan but you are right, it might not hold strong, but we should still expect that once it drop to $6k it will bounce back again like what happen in the past and this halving hype is strong, when nearing the schedule, it will save the price to pump.
4435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 11, 2020, 01:00:56 PM
Calling on the OKC backers here, there will be an upcoming game tonight against the Lakers who just dominated the KP less Mavericks.

Are you still willing to take a ride against Kings James team?
Probably still no Davis but Lebron could play, so you are willing to take risk against the FAKERS, I mean the LAKERS?

4437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 10, 2020, 02:49:57 PM
Changes will only occur once there is a changes in the market, people are saying what they are witnessing.
Major coins are down so they lose their hope, no one would be happy to see the coins they invested lose 90% of its value so we can't expect they will change, unless the market will turn bullish this year as that would give hope for altcoins holders.
4438  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Trend for 2020. on: January 10, 2020, 01:55:26 PM
I feel like the trend overall should be bullish this year. I mean we have already had such a long bear market that it is about time to start recovering. Thus far,  the beginning of the year was quite decent with the initial pump to 8.5 k, lets hope we won't retrace down lower than the last higher low to have a proof of a bullish setup. If that happens, then a new all time high is gonna come this year i believe
hopefully that's the case in this year, I know everyone are tired of holding and we are not just looking for bitcoin to rise but also for the altcoins as well.
What we are experiencing now is not a normal market IMO, because in the past, when bitcoin struggles, people turns to altcoins to invest, hopefully we will be back at that situation soon.
4439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: January 10, 2020, 01:21:09 PM

This will be an interesting fight but I think I will side on Garcia. Let's see when the fight happens. I think once the fight is over, whoever wins will ask for Pacquiao's fight... Cheesy
certainly is because no Boxers now that dont wanna fight the greatest fighter taht active until now mate, all of them are wanted to be part of Pacquiaos Boxing Journey even before he Retires .

many of them wanted just to be with him in the ring while others wanna see him Down the ring without the belt or being loser.

so let us see what will faith brings these boxers.

Of course every boxers want to fight whether Manny or Floyd because these two boxers can offer them a lot of purse and that is the main reason. Whether Garcia or Vargas win this fight, they will surely ask for a fight with big names in it.

Either of these fighters can't bet Manny, they are too slow compared to Manny and I thinK Manny is looking to fight undefeated fighters like Spence and crawford, maybe if Garcia would win this, he can ask a rematch to spence but I think it would be the same story.
4440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 10, 2020, 12:32:20 PM
Now we have two teams that are surprising us this season, namely the OKC and the Mavericks  but OKC is the hottest right now, they are more stronger compared to the Mavericks IMO because their PG does not have to score much to win, he trusted it with his teammates and he make them better.

we have lots of games tonight and I like the Lakers vs Dallas match up, Dallas is currently -1.5 and I don't know if KP is already available,
anyone have an info?

Oklahoma City Thunders.
Should Houston regret giving away CP3? He is really giving his all now. It is almost like he found his righteous place.  Grin

Gallinari had been a good roleplayers ever since.
And then there is Adams who had already been contributing a lot ever since.
I think that name is whom OKC will keep for a long time.

Then there is Schroder and Shai who had been enormous also ever since Westbrook was traded.

I will be betting for this team next time with the right spreads.

Definitely it's worth betting on them as they are mostly betting underdogs on teams that are in their higher ranking.
AFAIR, I have already won many times betting on the OKC thunder, this team is really good, if they lose they still cover the spread so I won't fade them.
