4441  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: nano s on: August 26, 2021, 10:55:11 PM
It's very simple if you have already set up your Nano S either ledger live or Electrum.
If you did not set up it yet read this basic guide below

- Set up a new device (Ledger Nano S) with Ledger live
- Set up and use Electrum with Ledger nano

Take note you must save the seed or 12/18/24 words backup to a piece of paper or any safe place because you can use it to recover your wallet in the future.

Now after you set up them generate an address from Ledger live to make sure it was a BTC address or in Electrum and then copy the address go to your "bitcoin wallet" where the BTC that you want to transfer paste the address there and send the amount your want to send.

Or you might be talking about transferring them and use the backup seed from your Bitcoin wallet and import it to ledger nano?
If that's the case you won't be able to do that.
4442  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: New to bitcoin mining on: August 26, 2021, 10:40:09 PM
What are the basic requirements for BTC mining?

If you talk about basic requirements it's very simple you need a 220v and ASIC miner and setup them to point on the pool.
The normal house outlet amp is around 15amp you can run only one miner per outlet.

I would suggest you read this thread below.

- First time/Small miner reference for getting started.
4443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which currencies are suitable for money laundering? on: August 26, 2021, 06:40:29 PM
If you are going to choose monero you still have a record on exchanges unless if you buy monero on no KYC exchange.
And take note you would still need to set up your wallet with Tor to be fully anonymous. Read this monero documentation about how to set up it with tor

Grin would be also an alternative as suggested above this would be a good sample to become anonymous no transaction records even you buy them on no KYC exchange the next transaction would be fully anonymous.

The same goes for Beam the only problem with this coin is that if you don't have a backup wallet file even you have a backup seed/private key there is no way to recover your old addresses.
Unlike Grin coin the transaction will be generated into a file that you can upload or send to someone.

Both Grin and Beam support Dandelion++ which is best if you want to hide your IP and they also support I2P/Tor. It seems Monero also implemented Dandelion last April?
4444  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Where to get S19 Pro PSU's? on: August 26, 2021, 04:11:22 PM
If it's only a PSU issue then just only buy PSU.

Bitmain seems no stocks yet so you can try to buy on https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/
The PSU model you need is APW12 it's a bit expensive compared to buying directly on Bitmain.
4445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: investment bind to block chain and profit checking on: August 25, 2021, 11:03:21 PM
What do you mean?

Can you explain it more it seems I'm confused about what you need.

Are you looking for a crypto portfolio tracker? To monitor all of your Crypto investment?

If that's the case then you can try Blockfolio.
4446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P Crypto Trading - Which Platform Do You Use & Why? on: August 25, 2021, 09:28:26 PM
I only do P2P trade on Binance because I can able to trade on our fiat and there are lots of accepted payments and withdrawals compared to other exchanges or other P2P sites.

Another thing is that Binance is already been tested many times and they can prevent fraud on their P2P exchange and the best thing is you can P2P with their app easily with less fees.
The only problem is they require KYC before you can able to P2P trade.
4447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: August 25, 2021, 09:15:21 PM
I have a few of them in my wallet I search them but all of them are fake or some of them are real but they forcing you to invest on their cloud mining site with your token but with BNB fees(So it's still likely a scam).
Not worth swapping them, it cost you more than the value of that tokens.

Just ignore them it won't affect your wallet it's just like an advertisement spreading to any wallet they find on the BSC.
4448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Idea on how to detect any phishing airdrops trying to steal tokens on: August 25, 2021, 08:40:07 PM
No, I can't see any tools to know phishing airdrops. If you want to be safe from any fake airdrops and phishing always check their contract address if it was a fake one or the original.
Go to something like Coingecko most tokens are in their list with contract addresses.

Also to be safe don't accept any popup from your wallet if you visit any new and phishing sites always reject them if you don't want to lose your tokens and coins.
4449  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: August 25, 2021, 07:04:51 PM
My wallets will stay untouched when I install the new version? Or will I have to import the existing wallet? I am still learning all of it Smiley
I would suggest always do a backup first of your armory wallet and files from %appdata% before you uninstall and install the latest armory.

It's for your wallet safety if anything goes wrong and actually, you don't need to uninstall them just download the latest version and install it will automatically delete the old version including old files except the armory wallet file that you can find under AppData.
4450  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: is it possible to mine bitcoin anonymously on: August 24, 2021, 11:53:28 PM
What are you talking about? How can mining be anonymous? Everything you use has long been under the control of special services or hackers

VPN is the only solution for your problem as suggested above you will need to set up your router that supports VPN because there are some routers that don't support VPN setup.

And the problem is the latency just like what kano pointed out but it depends on the VPN location you choose and it might be also depending on the number of the miner.
So how many miners do you plan to run anonymously?
4451  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which crypto debit card? on: August 24, 2021, 11:04:42 PM
Have you heard Bitpay? They also offer a Bitpay debit card from here https://bitpay.com/card/

For other lists of crypto debit cards, I suggest this thread below

4452  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My account was blocked how can I log into coinbase without a phone number on: August 24, 2021, 10:48:56 PM
Actually, if you created the wallet recently and deposited some Bitcoin you won't be able to withdraw them so I think the wallet lock you talking about is that it asks for a KYC process?

And note creating a new account in Coinbase is not a solution to open a locked wallet or even use a friend's number won't help to unlock your wallet.
Coinbase is now very strict on KYC I have experienced using them a few months ago without KYC but recently they are forcing people to verify the KYC process.

So if your wallet is being blocked because you forgot the number that you registered in your Coinbase account the only solution to solved this issue is by contacting support.

Read this from Coinbase https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/managing-my-account/get-back-into-my-account/account-access
Scroll down at the bottom and you will see that they only suggest you contact them if you forgot your number connected to your Coinbase account.
4453  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer T17e ERROR_POWER_LOST on: August 24, 2021, 05:52:25 PM
it is not the issue with PSU because power lost error message is coming only with One board I even disconnect other boards and connect only this board and error still appears, once I disconnect this specific board and reconnect the remaining two device is hashing normally
so I think this board is already dead and shorted somewhere ,

Did you buy a used(2nd hand) miner?

If not, then you can send them back to bitmain for repair.

Can you try to check the hashboard physically and maybe there are some burnt parts under the power terminal. If not, try to clean the whole power terminal and some parts with lacquer flo thinner then try to run it again.

Also, you can troubleshoot the hashboard follow the guide from here https://www.zeusbtc.com/articles/information/185-antminer-t17e-manual-download
4454  Economy / Exchanges / Re: According to the SEC, Binance is under investigation by the US federal governmen on: August 24, 2021, 04:28:31 PM
I found this one https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/2142619/sec-files-criminal-charge-against-binance

And I found another from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binance

It seems it is still under investigation and no update yet.

But I think the only users who will be affected by this are those who trade on Binance US
4455  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Asics + 4G internet / Is this working? on: August 24, 2021, 02:22:50 PM
If it has stable internet then you can but you will need some device to connect your ASIC with wifi

And I think it also depends on how many ASIC machines you have?

Why not buy a modem instead? A modem that can support a sim card network? Then directly connect all your miner if you have more than 4 miners then you would need a router with more slots.
4456  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum on Android on: August 24, 2021, 02:00:38 PM
I rebooted my phone and downloaded it again and it seems that it is running normal now. My internal storage was almost full when I downloaded it maybe it affected the app(I am not sure). Anyway, thanks for the inputs.

It sometimes happens to me with my Samsung phone even on other apps it's slow down when the memory is full I think that is why it's running normally now it's because restarting the phone will help to clear up all running apps in the background.

I think new phones have a built-in tool that can clean up memory like mine I can go to device care and click memory then tap the clean button to clean up all running apps on the background. So it doesn't need to reboot the phone. You can try that on your Poco phone.

I search a bit on youtube it seems you can find that tool under settings>about to clear up some space and memory.
Here's the youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UErSTNhFyiE
4457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Program a FPGA for bitcoin mining on: August 24, 2021, 12:24:07 PM
In case if you still want to try it there is an official thread about bitcoin mining with FPGAs
It's too old but you can check them from this link below

Since you can't mine bitcoin with FPGA then you can able to mine other coins.
Check this https://fpga.guide/en/
4458  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Using Electrum With Cold Card MK3 with P2PKH message signing on: August 22, 2021, 07:05:45 PM
So you want to make a signed message using the cold card with the specific address?

According to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/coldcard/comments/mhcpfs/sign_message_with_specific_bitcoin_address/

When creating a message on notepad you need to add a derivation path at bottom of the text.

You can check the right derivation path from Electrum under the addresses tab just right-click the address and click the details you should see the derivation path of that address.

Here's the sample

Code:
This is your text and this should be save as .txt
m/84'/0'/0'/0/8
4459  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Step 4: Backup Wallet on: August 22, 2021, 05:27:35 PM
Hey guys!

I setup all so far.. still learning though.
When I tried to send part of my btc it said Coin selection failed with error: can't connect socket. I followed the tutorials, but don't know whats wrong and why it won't send to my binance account.

Any ideas?

What version of armory do you currently use?

I found a thread with the same issue from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2329749.0
According to the thread upgrading it to the latest version must solve your issue
4460  Other / Meta / Re: Help me with my account - banned! on: August 21, 2021, 11:46:28 PM
