4441  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your thought during ECQ on: April 26, 2020, 08:53:57 AM
I don't think this virus is man-made because it would have known to the world if that was true, but researchers told that the virus doesn't have any evidence to prove that it is man-made. But there is a high possibility that this virus has spread to the community purposely
It is not proven but there US are thinking of a possibility that the virus is a man made, and they are linking this to China.

https://www.businessinsider.com/us-investigating-chinese-lab-covid-19-theory-2020-4

I've heard a lot of news about that, their speculation but they can't confirm it.
maybe by the time they will find the cure, then it would be easy for them to determine if the virus is a man made or not.
4442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: April 25, 2020, 02:03:34 PM
you will know if they are making an excuse if the pandemic is over and the project is does not improve.
They actually can take this situation as a valid excuse, they are working and in order for the team to work, they should meet, and some of them does not work in the same country and every country could have different rules impose on quarantine of their people.

We can rest for a while now, we are facing a big problem, but sooner once this is over, we will find out.
4443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HYDRO is next 20-50x alt on: April 25, 2020, 01:24:57 PM
hydro still a good project, they only need new  marketing stratety and good news for them to make a hype again Grin
Let's see, looking at the chart now, it seems like this project is already going down.

It's really bad when the hype is high and suddenly it will die, it's like a pump and dump coin which will leave those who invested as a bag holder.
I'm not saying this coin will be, but looking to the graph, I can tell it's struggling now.
4444  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: April 24, 2020, 11:46:53 PM
I think the problem is not in the coronavirus but in the noise and speculation that is presented in press
the media really ruined everything, the domino effect created was completely unexpected, if the media didn't exaggerate the news about this virus, I'm sure the economy wouldn't be this bad

I think we should assume that this virus is not too dangerous, but still, keep a distance and protect yourself with a mask or disinfectant liquid

The media are just doing right, even if they exaggerate it a bit, we can still see the effect of the covid-19 as this is a global crisis, the fact that we are under lock down, that means no business for us to go outside and do the usual things we do and no business would grow if people are ordered to stay at home.

one big evidence that the country are already in big crisis is when the country printed money, and USA did that despite the fact that they are the most powerful country on earth, now let's ask ourselves, how much more on the effect of smaller countries?
4445  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 24, 2020, 11:25:48 PM
snip**
will forget all of this? It seems impossible, H1N1 does not cause such a massive panic, the effect of this corona will heal for a long time

after this plague really ended, a monument must be built, to remember and so that the world in the future does not forget this covid19 outbreak that once disrupted the world economy

We will never this even without that monument, though this pandemic will end, the world is still not safe for a new virus, they need to continue finding the cure of the virus and study it so every time there's a new virus, they will be able to defeat it in a short period of time only, not this kind of situation we are facing now that we still have no idea if they already found the vaccine and therefore people are still in feat of getting infected, that would result to a bad economy due to a slow  recovery.
4446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Ready for its Annual Rally? on: April 24, 2020, 12:59:56 PM
I think XRP, like other altcoins, is ready for the bull run. The only question is when it will happen. I do not see other reasons why it will grow by itself.

If bitcoin is ready for a bull run, for sure altcoins will just follow.

The question as to when it will happen, that's hard to answer, but if we really trust crypto, we will patiently wait for the time to come.
if my not happen this year but as long as the market is still alive and improving, we should continue to hope in the future it will eventually come.
4447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is OKEX a good exchange? on: April 24, 2020, 12:44:51 PM
They have done a good marketing so far and they manage to make their community grow so better go to their facebook, twitter group or channels to get the latest updates on what is happening regarding on them as well you  can check there current rankings on the coinmarketcap since they are quietly good so far.

With over $3 billion 24 hours trading volume - https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/okex/

it really looks good, but seriously, I don't believe they have this kind of big volume, I think some of them are fake volume.
you can correct me if I'm wrong.
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 21, 2020, 04:02:12 PM
For this time I don't any plan quitting gambling because I believe that I can manage myself of using my money and I know when I stop playing once I reach my maximum lose.
There's no need to quit because you are a responsible gambler, unless you are not having fun anymore.
Sometimes it will take time to be responsible as some experience more loses before they learn, but lucky are those people who were able to control themselves as they can really enjoy in gambling with moderation.

We know many people are not control themselves in the terms of playing but we can help them by giving our opinion about how they stop it or on how they control it to not lose a huge money and once a player have limit they have high chance to win also.
Many but only few compared to the total number of gamblers who are having fun with gambling, and I believe it's normal that there are people who are responsible and there people who are not, all I hope is that they will learn right away from their mistake so the damage will not go further.
4449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bottom is yet to come??? on: April 21, 2020, 03:43:50 PM
Bitcoin prices are already lower at the end of March, you can see the graph, I think there is no decline in $ 3000 anymore, strong support is at the level of $ 5,000, especially halving will occur, certainly if the price does not rise then the miners will lose  Smiley
We will see what will happen since the halving is schedule is near, some are expecting to rise, while some expect it will not move due to covid-19.

As the stocks have fall, it would be a great recognition for bitcoin if it will rise, but like I said, let's see as this remains to be seen first.
4450  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 21, 2020, 03:18:57 PM
Probably because China has been very efficient in improving their economy, they compete with the US and now it seems like they win on this battle against the corona virus. US being the most developed country has now suffered, and after this pandemic, for sure, they'll struggle to recover and maybe that's the time that China will dictate their terms.
4451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: April 21, 2020, 12:08:18 PM
Huobi Mints $4.2 Million in Stablecoins — Is It a 4/20 Coincidence?

Today, April 20, Huobi has reportedly minted some 4,200,000 HUSD worth $4.2 million.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-mints-42-million-in-stablecoins-is-it-a-4-20-coincidence
What?!
Then the other stable coins will also do the same thing but with unknown dates. The Tether thing started it all and then the others does have the idea of minting since then.
It must be planned about the amount and the date of execution.

That would probably help their HUSD and they like to compete with other popular stable coins in the market, but TBH, I don't know what would be the positive effect of the exchange of using HUSD rather than using USDT.
4452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANKEX | Proof-of-Asset Protocol on: April 21, 2020, 11:52:12 AM
Glad to see this project still alive and having progress. They are having a value at the ETH network at least you can see it there at ETH, unlike other projects that are not even showing cents in value yet, this one keeps evolving.
yes I admit that the Bankex project is still working and developing at this time and has a value in the ETH network, besides the bad side of the Bankex project is, the value of the Bankex token price is very low compared to the results of the highest achievements before it has been achieved, I see the team found it difficult to raise the Bankex token back to its original
That's given that the price will drop because the market suffer from a long correction or bear market.
However, the fact that the team are still working, that's good enough, they did not give up just like other projects that were left by the team and disappear with the money they raise.
yes indeed it is one of the strengths of the team, to continue to develop the project they are running and is still running as a whole. in their work making money, it's best to benefit it for the needs of the Bankex project so that the community continues to support the Bankex project here, I hope the team will do even more max in their work in the development of the Bankex project
The team also has to find a way to get listed in other exchanges.
As per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bankex/markets/, its volume is very low now, therefore, we can't avoid people to thinking that this project might fail.
4453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Ready for its Annual Rally? on: April 21, 2020, 11:33:35 AM
Is there really an annual rally?  I haven't seen a rally last year.. maybe you see, so can you point me which part of 2019 the rally happened?

Man, Ripple is a good project but we have to accept that reality that altcoins now just follow bitcoin and if bitcoin does not have a healthy movement, the same thing would happen to altcoins.
4454  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: April 21, 2020, 11:13:38 AM
Now I guess we all know that oil too is pump and dump  Grin. Oil price hit zero while a bitcoin is still trading above $6k so who is the boss ? We will all see what will happen after this pandemic
It's not a pump and dump because it dump for a reason, there's less demand of oil now so it's normal that the price will fall down, but it does not fall to zero, at this time, for countries that are not affected with covid or there is no lock down, they can enjoy the price of the crude oil now, and personally I got my car full tank and bought some reserve in my house as this is the first time I saw the price is this low.
4455  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 21, 2020, 10:19:29 AM
i agree . we all know that china is a verry large continent and has a verry large base of population but even if many people have died from the virus there are still many people left living on thier country which makes them still  powerful  .
only 4,000 deaths are tallied in China, over the 80K infected, and over the billion of population, that's too small, it will not affect their economy.

and thats for the info by the way , i didnt knew that the virus was started way back last year while everyone are convince that the virus only started this year    . it could be thier plan/strategy or only thier fault because they only make it a secret   .
It started last year, that's why its name has 19 in the end.
So since it started last year, it's been almost 6 months already that no cure has been found for the corona virus, and it's really frustrating to just keep staying at home while thinking of our future plans.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 20, 2020, 11:36:13 PM
It is very bad that the employers of the Casinos did not pay their employees. It is inhumane, in such a dire situation that the pandemic has struck, these Casino owners should help the working hand that has made them wealthy. Like all closed businesses today, they are massively laying off their employees. In the midst of all this, I have seen humanitarian aid that they have been sending food to them and also the Trump government has created a plan to send money to Americans in this chaos of Covid19.

Unfortunately this is the face of current capitalism. Around the world, many private organizations refuse to repel forced leave for their employees.
As for me, this perfectly shows the attitude of the organization towards the person who works for it.

Organization does work based on their policy, therefore if it's not on their policy, it needs some big approval from the CEO or the high ranks of the company.
If they are just following based on their policy and the rules of the government, they should not be pressured here, giving aid to their employees is not their responsibility TBH, so employees should be aware of that, instead they have to learn how to save to prepare for an unforeseen situation.
4457  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: April 20, 2020, 11:08:52 PM
the purpose of the virus:
1) to reduce the world's population, so it is safe for children
How can it be safe for Children when the virus does not choose who it will infect, and if you are saying on the future of the children, I don't think its the people who should be blame here, it should be the government for not enforcing proper law to protect its people.

2) divert attention from the failure in the economy and write off this failure as a virus
This could be true especially if the government is corrupt, I think this is done by big countries if its true that the virus is a man made.

3) to distract attention from the introduction of harmful 5G
I'm seen rumors about it but I'm not so convince.
4458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: April 20, 2020, 10:49:31 PM
$ 1,400 this year? no,no,no
That could be too high this year but I would not call it impossible.
You know, there's a lot of possibilities this year that could result to bitcoin rally and probably a bull run, who knows, with that, bitcoin will break its ATH and ETH will rise as well, look what happen in 2017, ETH did reach its ATH, so anything is possible here.

the market has been dying since 2018 and now in 2020 we are all hit by corona and that has made matters worse. maybe after the outbreak is over it will still take at least a few months to recover, so don't expect ethereum to reach $ 1,400 this year. In my opinion this year ethereum price will only reach $ 400
Dying? no... struggling maybe, but this market that we are seeing now that is struggling will survive and succeed in the long run.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 20, 2020, 10:32:05 PM

There is also the fact that MJ was literally the best player by far on a Bulls team that went 72-10 and that shows how awesome he was during a period where almost all teams were good as well, tanking wasn't really so obviously done as much as today and dude was just whole levels above everyone else. I hate it when people keep saying MJ didn't had help or Lebron didn't had help etc because these teammates all provide something but as soon as MJ left, that team tanked as much as Cavs tanked after Lebron as well.
I could agree with you on this, best players when they left will result to a disaster of the team.
When Lebron first left the cavaliers, the team tank, but when he rejoined, the team dominated in the East and even won a championship once, now he left, Cavaliers became a bad team and he made the Lakers great since joined with the Lakers, so we can say that Lebron is a special player who can carry a team like MJ, but TBH IMO, MJ is better than LBJ.
4460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Legality of bitcoin] Can a country really control the use of bitcoin? on: April 20, 2020, 10:00:27 PM
Bitcoin can't be controlled because in the first place it's decentralized.
Legality means users are free to spend their bitcoin without fear as long as transactions are legal, of course there are also illegal transactions which is not different from fiat where it's illegal to buy illegal drugs, or to gamble if gambling is illegal in your country.

Legality means a lot especially for the long term as it will give a way for massive adoption.
Now, if the county deemed bitcoin as illegal, then people who uses it will face consequences once they are caught.
