4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 22, 2021, 10:53:45 PM
I believe what Iron Mike Tyson said about Tyson Fury to be true: "He is the best heavyweight champion of the world since myself. He is the man, I don’t care what anybody says." If Iron Mike says that who am I to say the opposite? He is going to win the match against AJ.

the performance inside the ring will talk whats in it for them.whatever they claim, it will be proven in the actual match. interested on how they will fight toe-to-toe. are they going to show us a good fight? from bookies, they are favouring tyson, so they are seeing that he will more then likely dominate the match. lets see...
By looking at their record, you can already tell that Fury will be the favorite to win this fight. The good thing is, as a Fury fan, I can still get 1.52 or 52% win of my bet if I put my money on Tyson to win, this is already a great odds, and Tyson Fury to KO AJ is @3, this should not be missed too.

I think OP should put the betting odds since it's already available.
I'll put my bet on Tyson Fury as well. He is a big man at this fight, without losses, actually, the bettors will simply think that he gonna wins.

I'm seeing some of Tyson's fight, a little bit more aggressive than Joshua. But this will not give assurance about winning but somehow, this is the reason why he got that impressive record. I don't feel about breaking the chain but to remain undefeated.
4442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you develop stronger hands? on: January 22, 2021, 10:37:31 PM
The financial markets and trading offer the ability to earn huge profits and huge losses, risk-management and a responsible approach making sure that you truly understand everything you are doing is key to success in this fun, exciting and potentially very rewarding industry. Spend your time researching and learning as much as you can, learn about risk-management and try to always see what other people cannot - all these things motivates and develop me to remain in the trading.

Searching and learning are not enough to make a change to our mindset when we are already been disturb by our emotions brought into weakening our trust and confidence in Bitcoin. What makes someone able to hold their holdings even seeing the declining scheme is because of having faith in their investment, they're believing that after this struggle, it turns into their favor back. OP didn't have such faith, a reason why he becomes worried and weaken his hand and sell.
4443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 22, 2021, 10:16:37 PM
If that only I knew about Bitcoin before I come into the forum, (maybe) I was in the regrets of not buying it but I'm not, so I don't make myself blame it.

It was just in perfect timing that Bitcoin makes a surge unpredictably which everyone who knows before not to believe that it goes like this, surely they are in regrets. This is about faith, everyone who got this thing will be grateful, and those who did not will be simply asking themselves why?
4444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I kept receiving strange TRC10 tokens in my Trust Wallet, should i be worried? on: January 22, 2021, 02:18:21 PM
you are feeling worried about your funds and you can try to create a new wallet and transfer all of your funds from the old wallet to the new wallet but as long as you are not revealing or giving your phasephrase and then you must be safe. It looks like an airdrop token.

Yeah, I initially suspected them to be airdrop tokens, but coming in all at once within 3-4 days made me start being suspicious of foul play.
if you are participating in airdrops, that won't make any suspicious. You'll be lucky to have those but much lucky if they have a market value.
Want to know if that is tradable already?

Anyway, that was really surprising but you don't need to worry about it. What makes you worry is when you can see a cashout from your account to an unknown wallet address because this means that someone is in control of your wallet. Until not seeing this, it is just fine.

4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 01:58:29 PM
I can't imagine how long he stays on the lottery outlet waiting for it all to be punch on the system. I can't imagine if he does this alone or hires someone to do the task or he owns an outlet so he can't bother other gamblers on the line next to him.

A lot of people want to win the jackpot prize and I salute this person for having this plan, spending millions just to win the prize, that was a crazy thing to do.

I don't think if there is someone who could follow in his footsteps and do the same strategy. He deserves praises for his great idea but I don't think is a kind of cheating since He is paying all of it just like others paying their combinations.
4446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: January 22, 2021, 01:29:42 PM
What I was thinking now is very positive that we keep the momentum for a long time. Currently, at $31,000k a few more dumps happening around but this will be possible just a short market correction, it will recover later. Well, the situation is so tricky, some make a jump into ETH and some altcoins as they saw a hype on altcoins. This cause a huge impact on the Bitcoin trend (and this normal) but I was not bothered to keep it until such time bearish season will come.

4447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 22, 2021, 12:58:03 PM

Do you think its a good idea to hold more ETH than BTC rn?
I'd better still hold more on BTC than ETH. I'd never see ETH outperform BTC at this time. May some investors are selling their Bitcoin and switch to ETH but I don't think that they are into selling all of their holdings. Having 60% BTC and 40% ETH on my portfolio, I'll be making a good decision (maybe).

Bitcoin will never have a huge fall even Ethereum price will soar high. That is what I take and I know for sure that many people still holding Bitcoin than those who lose their hands holding it. Well, ETH is profitable, they are still doing for good and that is their decision.
4448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware about arbitrage on: January 21, 2021, 11:52:00 PM

- Fee of WD
- Speed of withdrawal
- Availability of the coins for withdrawing

The most common problem to encounter when using arbitrage trading and a reason also why having this strategy will drive to losses instead of seeking to gain more.

I experience this before as I was expecting great but somehow, I was at a big loss. That seems not really works for a casual trader but might possible for those who did this full-time. Before start using this, it is best to think if we are capable of doing this or choose the known coin to trade. It can be also a factor that the deposit/withdrawal will be paused/unavailable.

@OP, if you continue doing this much better to choose BTC or better check first the availability of coin first.
4449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 21, 2021, 11:05:05 PM
The results obtained will depend on the capital used and also the ability to analyze the market, but in my opinion those who hold crypto, especially Bitcoin, in the long term will get more profit than from day trading, because every trader must have made mistakes in decisions buying or selling so can reduce profit.
Not everyone can do this and trading is definitely not for everyone. Trading is a kind of specialist which it also requires special skill to become successful. Of course, we can gradually learn more from this thru experience but for those who easily give up after a tragic loss and can't manage their desperation, for sure that's the end of their carrier.

Is some people trading is profitable but this possibly not it work for other people. Many had tried but many had quit. The sad reality but we have to accept it.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 21, 2021, 10:34:16 PM
...
but who knows if Avni will give us a great fight against Canelo this coming February 27.
Even though he gives us a great fight but we couldn't think also that Canelo will give, He will give his best shot also as he is defending his built and reputation. We know how Canelo make a clean fight, more aggressive fighter, and most likely, he wanted to win. Not this guy Avni will give a loss for Canelo, in fact, it was not proven yet how good he is just seeing his previous fights while Canelo been on the ring for many years and have big fights.
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 21, 2021, 02:59:27 PM
By looking at their stats, there is no question who gonna win, that obviously be Canelo Alvarez.

I don't think this was a mandatory fight for Canelo, this is a mismatch. This will never give the interest of the crowd and this was an easy play for Him. I was thinking of Canelo and GGG fight again, much more sensible than for Avni.

It is really hard for a starter to fight against a veteran and known hard puncher in the ring. I foresee this fight not lasting for 12 rounds, a knockout will shorten the fight.

4452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 21, 2021, 02:30:37 PM
quite surprised to hear the amount she won was $60 million.  in my country, this kind of money is enough to buy hundreds of mansions.  in the midst of this "PANDEMIC", their win is a great gift, but what amazed me was that they (her and her husband) always playing the same numbers for 20 years.

I truly amazed them as well for being patient to wait that 20 years and possibly more years to come if they never have that lucky day.

Maybe, I was not that kind of personality, I usually choose different numbers in every lottery I do and maybe this is a reason why I'd never had a chance to win. For somehow I decided to quit and jump into sports betting.

She won $60 million but I also think about the amount she loses in 20 years, it might be more than $60 million.
4453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody have any suggestions for investing in Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2021, 11:52:35 PM
Bitcoin investment is too risky to take but we can't deny also that all businesses have the same possible end which is losing if we never know what we are doing. Those people who never know about Bitcoin will simply think about that but why many people got into this kind of investment and succeed because they believe in Bitcoin and they work on it.

We can say that only risk-takers can do such a thing in CRYPTO Investment and those who are not, will remain nega. Just think if we buy more Bitcoin 10 years ago, what it happens to us now?
4454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is missing from portfolio on Coinbase Pro...need assistance on: January 20, 2021, 11:15:10 PM
Hmm, weird, I don't know if you are aware of this:

Coinbase will suspend trading in XRP on January 19

Quote
In light of the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple Labs, Inc, we have made the decision to suspend the XRP trading pairs on our platform. Trading will move into limit only starting December 28, 2020 at 2:30 PM PST, and will be fully suspended on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time*. We will provide additional updates, if any, through the Coinbase Support Twitter account, including if there are any changes to timing.

The trading suspension will not affect customers’ access to XRP wallets which will remain available for deposit and withdraw functionality after the trading suspension. Further, customers will remain eligible for the previously announced Spark airdrop (subject to approval in certain jurisdictions), and we will continue to support XRP on Coinbase Custody and Coinbase Wallet.

https://blog.coinbase.com/coinbase-will-suspend-trading-in-xrp-on-january-19-2e09652dbf57?gi=d29c1d073d2e

In any case you have to talk to Coinbase and see what happens to your $2000 worth of XRP.

I’m well aware of that; as it says, “the trading suspension will not affect customers’ access to XRP wallets which will remain available for deposit and withdraw functionality after the trading suspension.” I’m so confused.
I know you are aware of this but you still have your XRP there, supposedly you withdraw it for more safety. I'm sure if that trading suspension will affect your portfolio but that seems possible if they will make changes or they will totally delist XRP on their platform then you can never see XRP from there.

Anyway, I hope some members here can make a post also if they have the same experience. Only you can do for now is to raise a complaint to the support team and I'm sure you will get a reply and their explanation as well.

Moderation still exists, but not to say that it will stop members here to keep posting and creating useless topics. As NeuroticFish said "

Therefore, we are certainly be seeing and reading negative and positive posts in the forum. If that never meets your criteria, make a leave/skip or even ignore it. I was also likely to read people that always on the positive side, it made sense actually as we are promoting on crypto, not dragging it down.

Some people get paid to ruin crypto.
4456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Practices for sending to exchange on: January 20, 2021, 01:02:24 PM
only a thing I do when sending funds to exchanges is to send in bulk, I always thinking about fees to save some than sending in multiple transactions and I know that I was sending to reputable exchanges so probably no worries that it falls to the other hands.

...
If it's a trusted exchange then it just mitigates a few errors that could be problematic with your machine eg a clipboard virus or something. To protect against other attacks you could also check the first 5, last 5 and 5 in the middle characters for the address you're sending to. Also I'd check the permissions the website has (near the padlock icon on most browsers) as it may be possible to see if an add on/script is running that could be malicious.
This not really practice and don't even check the middle character but I'll go directly to the first 3 digits and the last 3 digits.

Wow, I truly appreciate this strategy, could be the safest thing to do. I accept that I was not fully knowledgeable when it comes to malicious script attachment. And I have to apply this when I do the deposit for more safety.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 20, 2021, 12:37:00 PM
McGreggor will face Justin Poirier by Jan 23, a few days from now. The result for this will help to evaluate McGreggor's capabilities to win for his coming fights and that to assess for Manny as well. I don't think this could be all about aiming for him to fight Manny alone or for money but this just to say he wants to get more attention from the public. I actually say that He's been almost out of this business, I mean, many promising and rising start at UFC/MMA, they are more aggressive and interesting to see than McGreggor inside the ring (no hates).
4458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you combat your weaknesses in trading? on: January 19, 2021, 11:49:15 PM
Weaknesses have come to our mind and everything will be changed if we have a negative mindset. Thus, all of the negative results will surely come to us. If you want to win this thing then we should keep ourselves very positive about the future. The dump is the most common reason why people think about the negative but if we stick to the positive side, we can definitely conquer such weakness.

It is now clear to us that nothing could change the flow of our trading carrier, it is just how we respond to the possible losses we get. Kinda a trick, a reason that many fail to succeed and leave trading.
4459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ATH just surpassed $1440 and dettached from BTC's price coupling on: January 19, 2021, 11:03:20 PM
I am considering DCA some alt, ETH will lead the upcoming alt trend. In my opinion, the time to come we will see even stronger growth of ETH. If everything goes according to everyone's expectations, I think alt season is coming really. In addition to ETH, I have also noticed a lot of alt has also increased very quickly.
We still have to be careful in the influx growth of some altcoins, it can be possible a trap coz we are not sure if this really the signs of altcoins season or whales make some hypes again. I can remember what 2017 makes huge losses to many investors due to such a trend.

ETH keeps moving high, reaching another ATH, I'll expect a continuous trend before we end this quarter, or might possible 2nd quarter is the altcoins season. Anyway, Bitcoin keeps on a high level, altcoins will follow. I hope this will be a sign of crypto bullish.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 19, 2021, 10:41:14 PM
There are pros in hiring betting broker, first is when online gambling is illegal in your country or if you're country is banned to a specific sports betting site. You can pay a broker to gamble for you and earn profits if his skilled in gambling.
The downside maybe is the brokers fee, and the cost in hiring one plus you won't be able to enjoy gamble yourself.
when i gamble i want to feel the that im really gamble and i can do that with myself and i hate paying for more extra fees .

broker is a no no for me and if theres a gambling site that are banned in my country why not look for a gambling site that are not banned ? but i think there is a certain country where all gambling sites and all forms of gambling are totally banned ,

they dont know what it feels like to gamble but they like to earn a profit and they will hire a broker
Using a broker is not because we are banned to do it, people who have little knowledge in betting and need some guidance will usually use this. This kind of service really exists for a good reason and to help new bettors to enjoy their life in gambling.

Well, fees are expected to see as they are acquiring such services. Known brokers will surely have a big share when you win. But I don't think it is really needed for us to have this when you are just a casual bettor and when you are not in gambling always(on/off). That to be an option and in my self, not probably acquiring this.
