4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: August 11, 2021, 12:03:52 PM
You need help to stop gambling but you are not willing to help yourself.I think the first help you can actually seek is to help yourself.Self realizations is the most important step to take while seeking help.It is after you have realised yourself and decide to quit gambling that you will also be willing to accept help from outside.

I believe he needs help because he can't control it and it's affecting his life. I'm not addicted to anything, but I believe it's similar to a computer or mobile game where we get hooked and can't stop thinking about it whether we're in bed or out of place, but it's just a hypothetical example. Those professionals are the ones who are most likely to assist you, but I believe it is costly, but it is acceptable because it will improve your situation.
4442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The relationship between Bitcoin and human civilization on: August 11, 2021, 07:39:02 AM
For the first time mankind used technology to ensure the inviolability of private property

In the Bitcoin world, the private key is the full authority to control the asset, and only those who have the private key can spend the Bitcoin in this account. In this world, there is no customer service. If you accidentally lose your private key, no one can use these bitcoin assets, which is equivalent to disappearing forever. There is no function like "provide ID card and retrieve password".
Yes, that's right, with strict personal security.  No one can take over the wallet that holds someone's bitcoins.  I've had it for a long time.  Until now still intact and safe.  I am very careful about keeping my wallet private keys safe.  Because like you said if you lose your private security key no one can break it.

Agree. Right now, the best security for our wallets is a hard wallet or something tangible, such as writing your passwords on a piece of paper or anything that you can see and not just stored on your computer or in the cloud, because we never know what will happen. Just have an extra layer of security, like what I've read in this forum, where he writes it down and places it in a box with a lock, as well as hiding it. Losing your private key is the same as losing your money, which you can't get back. You'll simply move on.

4443  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: August 11, 2021, 04:38:59 AM
same with my country , all go up sometimes even unreasonable , once the price of 1 bunch of spinach 0.8$ ordinary 0.2$
maybe one of the effects of the pandemic and the prolonged lockdown in my country and insufficient food stocks in some places. Food transportation from agricultural or production companies is hampered to distribute stock efect prom lockdown
it is true that food prices are currently still experiencing an increase due to the lockdown itself which makes the supply come late, causing an increase due to the food scarcity.
but if you look at it I think it's too crazy to increase in your country because it's already 400% increase and that's a very hefty price for just a bunch of spinach

Yeah, that's crazy; our country's food prices have risen by 100%, making it extremely difficult to buy food these days due to the pandemic. Because of the unemployed and closed businesses, inflation has been rising since the pandemic. Food demand is also increasing. Also, in terms of food transportation, it takes weeks for food to arrive, resulting in an inability to meet the demand of the people.
4444  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 10, 2021, 04:09:29 PM
This forum is a great place to make money many here earn money from signature promotions or gambling sites I make some money through literacy promotion and crypto trading you are right that there is no guarantee of how long the signature campaign will last so I have chosen to trade with the signature campaign. Every day comes a little bit of profit from trading which never disappoints me and is a good place to earn online.

Agree. This forum and the signature campaigns here have been a huge help to us; many of us have earned money, and I'd say it's a lot because the total amount I've earned in a month from this signature campaign is much more than the minimum wage earner in my country. In terms of trading, I do it as well, but I don't think it's for me because I'm losing money, which I understand is a part of the game, but I'm still learning from it. If I have more money to play with, I'll continue sooner. Trading is extremely risky, but if you understand the risks, you will be able to earn more.
4445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 02:18:39 PM
The answer is simple actually. Because Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency which makes people a lot of profit in the long run. I myself experienced this before. I made an investment into Bitcoin for a long term and made a great amount of money. For now, the second best alternative seems like Ethereum. It is on a great run nowadays also.

Agree. Most people are interested in bitcoin because of its current high price. If you bought bitcoin a few years ago and sold it today, you would make a significant profit, making people wealthy. What matters now is bitcoin, and if you can hoard a large amount of bitcoin, your future is secure; simply hold it for a few more years, and you'll see how the price changes in that year.
4446  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: August 10, 2021, 12:10:20 PM
I am so grateful that I have food and Bitcoin. Smiley We have the same fate. I am also earning thru swing trading.

Wow, that's fantastic. I eat three times a day as well, but I don't have bitcoin. I do, however, earn money from it, which makes me happy. I lost my job a few months ago, which is very depressing because I have a family to feed and they rely on me, which makes me depressed at the time. Fortunately, I have a lot of friends who help me, I have a new job (actually two jobs) and two side jobs (both about crypto), I am not making much money, but I can provide for my family and I can start buying things that we really need. I am grateful to my friends as well as the bitcoin.
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: August 10, 2021, 08:48:16 AM
How many of such people can actually end up winning or say able to beat the slot machine code. Many would try and play huge bets but in the end will end up mostly losing it and only a fractional percentage of the total users might be end up beating those codes or win it. Talking about the users who play continuously and from long time.

I don't think there are many gamblers who play slot machines regularly and are winning. Sure there will be some lucky few who manage to beat the jackpot, but most of us won't be so lucky. The casino has an advantage on these machines and the longer we play the closer we get to the edge of the casino. If someone says he broke the code of the machine I would only believe it if I see him do it

Agree! Casino machines are nearly impossible to break nowadays, but if we're talking about a few years ago, it should have had a bug or some sort of weakness to exploit so you could win, but most of the time it doesn't because it is thoroughly inspected. Slot machines have a low chance of winning, but they excite you every time you roll them in the hopes of winning, and because they are not bugged or foolproof, it is impossible to break them.
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 10, 2021, 07:24:14 AM
I suppose that those bonuses are in fact good for the casino otherwise they will not give them, it is true that there are people that could try to abuse those bonuses especially in this market in which people do not want to identify themselves as they want to gamble in an anonymous way, but it is unlikely this is going to be a problem because many of those websites are going to use cookies and other technologies to keep track of who has used their services and if they see any suspicious activity then they are going to ban your account.

There will always be those who will try to take advantage of the system. Especially when it comes to free money. I'm sure casinos are well prepared for such situations and have well-developed methods of detecting abusers. It is very unlikely that cheaters will escape detection thanks to cookie tracking, IP logging, browser fingerprinting, and who knows what else.

The free trial or bonus given to beginners to play, are the other ones hooks people. Whom so ever it would be, would make a try for the first play unless and until he has heard of the websites faking or he is an experienced. So the new registered player is always given a chance to win on their first swing which in turn pulls them in mentally to try with case on the second swing or when the free amount gets over. Here one just has to decide if to move further or not after their free trial is over.
The bonuses that the casino gives are without a doubt one of the main attractions for many gamblers, however that only attracts the gambler to that specific casino but it doesn't tell us anything about why the person decided to gamble on the first place and why it keeps doing it, personally I think there are many reasons for this to happen, some people just like the excitement, some people want to get fun, some just want to make money while others are just curious about it and want to try it.

The atmosphere around would really makes the one exited. The welcoming behavior of other play with us, would certainly encourage us to mingle with and continue the relationship by playing with them on a regular basis. Few dont mind about cash but just a fun and lovely environment. The ambiances where we play, makes one feel fall into play the games. Like wise, we have so many reasons to get hooked up so. It varies from each individual.

It's mostly about the game. You are correct that they will fall into the game on their own. It should be one-of-a-kind and enjoyable. Most people or gamblers nowadays are not only interested in the price but also in the fun because most games have a prize but if you get excited, you'll be hooked on the game. As for me, if I became addicted to a game, it should have a high prize, a fast pace, and make you nervous. Those carnival games are examples of how children became addicted.
4449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 10, 2021, 05:55:19 AM
In the past Bitcoin was known and used for illegal payments, because the transactions were anonymous so most people had negative beliefs about Crypto. Not only that, Blockchain is also a new technology that most people don't know about and they call it a scam. This is natural, because knowledge about bitcoin is uneven. Bitcoin is now famous for its price skyrocketing in the last 5 years and those who enter the Bitcoin market just want to get rich quick without any basis.

Agree to this I remember that I talked to a person before about bitcoin which his first said to me is it was a scammed and it is illegal in which this coin was used in illegal transactions like drugs or hiring a killer. I just laugh because it isn't true but mostly we heard bitcoin mostly in deepweb before but when the price spikes up then the bitcoin gets known and a lot want to invest.
4450  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 10, 2021, 04:58:37 AM
I can't say that money and happiness are unrelated in any way. They are quite related. Because having no money or a really few amount of money equals to being unhappy to me. Maybe this is different for many people also. But I can't be content about my life unless I have enough money to be able to get something I like. I don't mean that I must be a really rich person. I mean that I should be able to afford the things I like.

We each have our own point of view, which I agree with, and we both hold the same opinion. But I know a lot of people who are really satisfied in a day if they eat three times a day, which makes me wonder. There are people who, despite their poverty or lack of money, are happy, which leads you to believe that they are truly happy. In terms of myself, I would rather be content with a small sum of money spent with my family than to be wealthy but alone. The most important factor is your family, which brings you happiness.
4451  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: August 10, 2021, 03:02:39 AM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
It is better to set a goal to sell and hold bitcoin in the long term because trading requires experience and learning and if you trade and you are a beginner, there is a possibility of losing your coins, There are YouTube channels and sites that will help you learn to trade, but I see that investing does not require anything but a review of the market first and this will be the best choice for you.
It's true whether trading or investing it takes experience because that's the important thing,
maybe for a beginner it's better they continue to learn and try little by little so that the risk is not too big,
apart from that it all comes back again the decision depends on them

You can only win if you have both knowledge and experience. Both trading and investing carry risk; however, we cannot say that investing is risk-free because you should research or gather information about the investment before making a decision because it may result in a loss. It is essential to learn before trading in order to predict the market. There are two strategies for trading: fundamental and technical, both of which are effective. However, I would recommend that you gain experience in order to predict the market.
4452  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: August 09, 2021, 03:16:53 PM
there is no target how much bitcoin for me, i don't even really like to collect bitcoin for longer. for me, if I have bitcoin, I will immediately sell it. it's enough for me
Agreed, sell it if you really need the money, but if not, keep it so that you have money to get in case of emergency. But if I have a whole bitcoin, that is more than enough for me because the amount is so huge that it makes me wealthy and allows me to buy the things that I really need. The best way is to save it for the future, but if you really need money, sell it now because the price is really high and you can earn a lot of money.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: August 09, 2021, 01:07:58 PM
What kind of harm can a gambler get while playing online? Curved spine because of sitting on a bad chair and loosing visual acuity? But that is not what company be responsible for. If a gambler looses a lot - this is an addiction that specialists must cure. Chances of loosing due to phishing ? Again this is gamblers responsibility.
yeah, the responsibility of online gambling providers is only to provide such as bankrolls, games, chat rooms, etc. This is like something that does provide.. but basically it comes back to the user, the risk and whatever is experienced by the gambler.. it is of course borne by the gambler, has nothing to do with the gambling provider, and even gambling providers sometimes cheating the gamblers, how could they think about the gamblers risk or something like harm.

You are correct, and you should be aware that before we created an account, there were terms and conditions that stated that they are not responsible for anything that happens to you after you check the agree box, and that you will be unable to do anything and that they will not assist you. However, you should be aware of the risks and emotional state that you may encounter before playing. Play for fun and not for profit, and avoid becoming addicted to gambling.
4454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Greed in Gambling on: August 09, 2021, 12:03:12 PM
In terms of gambling, I believe this is the most difficult to overcome because we all know that if we keep winning, controlling our emotions becomes increasingly difficult unless we are used to it. Greed causes people to lose a lot of money because they are unable to control their bets, resulting in large losses. Usually, this happens in all-in bets because you thought you could double your money but it was a loss. The issue now is that it is extremely difficult to maintain control but hoping that over time you could control it.
4455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About the popularity of Bitcoin on: August 09, 2021, 09:46:22 AM
If they are blind or incapacitated elderly people, they will have guardians around them. This is the blind person's own problem, not the flaw of Bitcoin. I don't think Bitcoin can solve this kind of physiological problem that doctors can't do.

Agreed, how are they supposed to go to the store if they are blind, they need to be assisted also paying online, how do he/she manage to navigate to the website if he/she is not capable, this should have a guardian or will assist them and I believe this is not within the scope of bitcoin because it is very physical and nothing bitcoin could do with it. Though in the near future, others will figure out how to do this or pay like this for those with disabilities, for the time being, a guardian is required to complete the payment.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 09, 2021, 06:43:48 AM
It becomes excess if you start depositing money coming from your savings or money that you should spend for your bills, once money for gambling keeps adding up and bills are delated for payment, then we can conclude that you are spending too much time and money on gambling and we can call this excess in gambling and this is not good for your over all health and financial situation.
Is losing money frequently in gambling be termed as excess gambling? What of if a gambler so make consistent profits from gambling increasing the pace at which gambling occurs, could it be called excess gambling too? Cause you are only point at the dangers of gambling when a gambler accumulates so much debts that leads to misfortune at the end of the day. Let's generalize it whether a gambler make consistent profits or losses.
But we know that a gambler can not make consistent profits from gambling rather than losing their money constantly if they deciding playing longer than usual. Maybe if we play longer can cause us to use excessive money to gamble or it could be if we playing gambling excessively, that can make us losing a big money without we realize. But when we do something by excessively, that will not good for us because that can give impact for.

You are correct; it is the same with the lottery; you may think you are only spending a few dollars, but when you add up all of your expenses in purchasing tickets, it adds up to a large amount that you are unaware of because it accumulates over time. As we can't control our emotions, we sometimes win and sometimes lose a lot of money when we play casinos. Unless you are a professional gambler, you will not be able to consistently win or earn money. All I have to say is that let's just play for fun.
4457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: August 09, 2021, 05:48:42 AM
I know about crypto and everything in general but I am having difficulty to understand one thing about it. Why crypto or bitcoin is better than money ?

I mean I know the block chain technology is revolutionary and it has many benefits, it is being used by all crypto. Money is used to buy goods and services and there are very less businesses accepting crypto and still the prices are rocket High.

This Crypto trend looks more like share market company evaluation rather a legitimate currency. Moreover all government have there own currency, goverment cannot let that sink and can ban these. Can someone explain to me the value of Crypto as a currency when compared to real money ?

I don’t think that it is correct to compare crypto to fiat money. Of course, initially, crypto was created to replace fiat money and provide people with privacy in terms of transaction of their money and unregualation from the government. But now it is too early to compare ordinary money to Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, I, of course, can name several advantages of crypto. You can transfer your money wherever you want and nobody can forbid you, even abroad.

Agree and also bitcoin was made not for these reason its because the fees before and how transparent it be since you could see that actual movement of your bitcoin and also it is really fast. Though there are many advantages to crypto now, I cannot replace fiat because it is well-established and has been used for a long time, but it would be ideal if we could add another payment method, such as accepting crypto in payment.
4458  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 06, 2021, 12:40:04 PM
The pandemic conditions have limited the space for interacting activities for everything so that the graph statistics of the drastic economic decline of several countries. But on the other hand, this pandemic has given full time space for crypto activities for the purpose of improving the economy has fallen during the pandemic, people have turned to traders and investors' jobs and will probably continue even though this pandemic is gone.
besides many people coming to cryptocurrency because of this pandemic, we can see more and more youtubers with various content. but frankly for me only from this online work can make money, although sometimes many projects are scams and ultimately don't pay, and I consider it just a risk

Yes, there are a lot of videos about cryptocurrencies on YouTube now, which is fantastic! I remember when there were only a few videos about this and you had to read online articles if you wanted a review of a specific coin; now, almost all new coins are available on YouTube. These YouTube campaigns are the reason why there are so many videos for the new coins these days, and you can watch all of them to learn more about them.
4459  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: August 05, 2021, 04:09:39 PM
I just remember that most people at the time used bitcoin to pay or transact with someone anonymously online, which is what I saw most of the time. Then it started to grow, the price kept rising, and it became associated with investment, which is true. The price right now could make you rich, but the real purpose is to make things easier for you because we all know that we are earning because of bitcoin, and it could make you free from debts and not have to think too hard about where to find another source of income.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 05, 2021, 01:54:40 AM
We're all free and we have choice if they want to get on those physical casinos, no one will stop them until the government is not okay for the opening the physical casinos
Sure, everyone has the right to go to physical casinos. But don't forget to consider the current situation. If the Covid spread increases quickly in the area, it is better to stay at home temporarily. There is already an alternative way to gamble or play casinos, it is online gambling. Why don't play on online gambling sites? I think it is a wise decision and should be done by all people. This way also supports the government to stop Covid spread and secure everyone from the infection.

I admit that playing online gambling and playing gambling at physical casinos has a different taste, and everyone does have the freedom to choose.
But because right now the situation cannot be said to be safe, because the risk of being infected with the corona virus is very large, if we do not
limit activities outside the home. Sometimes we have to be able to control ourselves by choosing safe choices, and I'm glad that now everyone is
more concerned about their health. With the increasing popularity of online gambling, It has proven that many people are aware of
the importance of preventing the spread of the corona virus. Therefore, many people who usually play gambling at physical casinos are now
starting to switch to playing online casinos.

I believe people were scared, and casinos, if I am not mistaken, are currently closed because they are not permitted to operate due to the pandemic; this is in our country; I am not sure if it is the same in other countries. So that's the main reason why they're transitioning online; we know there are older people who play in casinos who aren't particularly tech-savvy, but they learn or try to explore it so that they can play because they really want to. Though I believe the fun and excitement are not quite the same in a physical casino because in an online casino you can only watch it on a screen, whereas in a physical casino you can touch it.
