I see the line right now is -3.5 Kansas City. Any thoughts on the line possibly moving before the game? I am a little worried about it possibly moving to -3 or -4, so hesitant to place anything at the moment.

Absolutely amazing set of games today.  Placed on Chiefs vs Bills @ -3.  Deciding on Green Bay vs Bucs @ -3.5.  Wondering if there’s any chance that spread moves to -4 or -3 by game time.

4449  Economy / Collectibles / Re: HOW TO BUY OR SELL HERE... on: January 17, 2021, 09:14:09 PM
Suggestion - There is some code floating around here that allows you to place the dollar (not sure about others such as euro etc) amount you want to receive for an item you’re selling that will then spit out it’s bitcoin equivalent. I’m not sure how often it updates however, every 1-5-10mns or if it’s live. But adding this in the OP for people to be able to use would be cool.

Anyone able to provide the code? Gracias.

Does anyone have any tips for today's two games? I'm rooting for Browns and Bucs to advance but probably not gonna happen, that's why i'm on the lookout for suggestions to perhaps tail.

I was considering total points for the Browns/Chiefs game as I imagine it would be a boom or bust game for Browns and their defense is kinda meh, but the current over/under at ~56 is quite ridiculous I think. So I'm sticking with Browns +14.5 and Bucs +7.5 for today. Which is to say that you should probably do the opposite Grin

Confused by those spreads.. this is your prediction of final point total differential?
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 17, 2021, 06:35:59 PM
I knew GB was going to wax the Rams. Goff has been regressing all year and Rodgers is obviously this years MVP who’s on a mission to silence all his haters from his last season struggles.  Also figured the same for the Bills.  So what did I do about these strong gut feelings ? Let my buddy get in my head and made no bets last night lol.  Cry

So today gotta go with my gut..I do best personally when betting spreads and normally try staying under 7pts but I just can’t see the Browns being able to keep up with the future  🐐.  Only hesitation is Clyde Edwards being out. Does this injury scare you off ?

Bucs / Saints ..man, impossible game to call. Can’t wait to watch that showdown!!

SB prediction - GB vs KC  - KC back to back champs

Edit - now looking at KC vs spreads of late..I’m hesitating a bit. Haven’t covered I don’t think since the Jets early Nov. Tough one here.
4452  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP: 'refusing to pay' Rudy Giuliani's legal fees after falling out on: January 16, 2021, 10:10:48 PM
Rudy didn't accomplish that which he was contracted for. He was supposed to get a trial where Trump could show the proof of election fraud. He didn't do it, even though it might not have been his fault. But since he didn't do it, why pay him?

Can anybody show us the contract between Trump and Giuliani? Rudy is an attorney, and Trump is smart enough to be one. If Rudy was wronged by Trump, he'll get it out of him, later, in court.

Cool

That’s not how lawyers work, at least in the US. Unless it’s like a slam dunk case where a court victory is essentially a guarantee and lawyers are begging you to let them represent  you  ( your employer fired you because of your race, for example) then lawyers don’t work for free. Even if you lose, they still have to be paid and rightfully so.

Trump is famous for not paying his bills, so not surprising if they did have a contract, .  Also, there is no way on earth he could even pass the Bar exam.  Proved that by hiring Rudy, who clearly lost his mind years ago.

4455  Other / Meta / Re: Mods- requesting thread to be pinned - Collectibles on: January 16, 2021, 05:46:25 PM
Since the other topic about the dedicated Auctions board has been unpinned, the new topic should also mention that board and its benefits (the OP and posts within the topic in that section cannot be modified or deleted).

My thoughts were to keep it simple Sam, as I feel like most pinned threads, especially with brackets, are messy and blend in too easily and are often overlooked..   How about something  like “ Collectibles - How to Auction/ Buy / Sell & More “  ..or something like this ?

Great call - forgot about this  (  the OP and posts within the topic in that section cannot be modified or deleted).- will ask Sats to kindly add to OP.  Assuming this is what you’re suggesting..
4456  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CASASCIUS UNFUNDED GOLD BAR on: January 16, 2021, 06:53:37 AM
Hi,

I have an unfunded Casascius bar from 2011. Still in the wrap with intact hologram.
Originally I bought as a novelty purchase.
Are there many in circulation and are they actually worth anything?

Would consider selling to a collector who would appreciate it.

A total of around 350 bars were produced by Casascius.
Depending on which denomination would determine the value.
There are non-denominated bars, 100 btc, and 1000 btc bars.

You can upload a picture to an image hosting site such as imgur.com, then post the link here and someone can repost for you.

MJ do you know how many 2 FA bars are there??

Likely very few, but as with several Casascius items like this, pure gold coins, and demo coins ..no one but Mike truly knows.

@Mods -( I wasn’t sure if I should post this here or in collectibles).. It looks like Theymos recently had the same idea, more or less, as I have for the collectibles board, a “Welcome” type link for all the newbies coming here after this massive bull run. We are seeing the same thing in collectibles, a rush of new accounts. With BTC’s rise, people are looking to “cash in” their funded coins. Left and right we are seeing posts from new accounts who are wanting to sell their coins / asking how to sell them and they are pretty clueless ( as was I when I first got here ).

Proposing the thread below by SatsLife ( or one similar ) be pinned at the top of collectibles. It would do the community and newbies alike a big favor.  It also would basically be replacing this thread by Cyrus that is really no longer needed -  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1494300.0

Thanks for your consideration!
