4462  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my mtgox account has been robbed this night. on: February 09, 2014, 06:47:06 PM
That is a bit frightening; so many bitcoins stolen from so many different accounts...

You would think he would stop stealing and start laundering the money but he doesn't, it must be pretty easy/safe to steal or it is an organisation
4463  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.com - No.1 bitcoin sportsbook on: February 09, 2014, 06:39:42 PM
Another question: Why a bitcoin website would need all my personal info within my phone number?
if you can take off at least address, and phone number i will be ok.

Firstly, JETWIN is strictly against Underage.

Secondly, JETWIN offers different promotions for its customers, and there is no way to prevent bonus abuse without collecting some personal data. Here are some points from our Terms and Conditions:
-          The JETWIN WELCOME BONUS is only valid for residents from following countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Sweden and Switzerland.
-          JETWIN will only offer one bonus per person, family, household address, email address, telephone number.

And finally, it is a preventive measure against multiple accounts abuse, as the use of multiple accounts allows to bypass system limits and also it may result in customers’ dishonest profit from bonuses.

The bonus isn't available in my country..

Is someone familiar with the website? Any negative feedbacks so far?
4464  Economy / Speculation / Re: i put almost all my money and lost a lot on: February 09, 2014, 06:13:04 PM
OP you already are a winner since you've invested before 90% of the population.
Hell even people who learn about bitcoin in 2 years will still be early/mid investors.

Just invest what you can, hodl and come back in 1-2 years. Don't miss out.

You are probably right but it is pretty hard to buy&hold for most people, people look at the price everyday, they panick when they are loosing a bit because they were here to make some money quickly

4466  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: February 09, 2014, 11:01:22 AM
Sell 2btc and wait for the next announcement from Ft Gox.

The question is : isn't already priced in?

Other bigs news are around the corner, if it is a bad one that comes next it could bring crash the price with the Mt gox shut down but if it is a great one, everyone may forget about Mtgox
4467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get 120% in few hours on: February 09, 2014, 10:56:32 AM
Isn't it over? I am curious to know how it stopped :
"
The experiment is over.
We will return as many deposits as we can. We are not making money from this."

makeBTC.org has an other straight forward pyramid scheme (not an advice to try, pyramids obv don't work and finish badly)
4468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: February 09, 2014, 10:50:08 AM
I would wait to buy, I feel like they will keep  dropping to like $500 and then will go back up

I feel the price could definitely decrease more or even crash but I do like the current price in regard to the long term perspective. Good/Bad news may be around the corners
4469  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: February 08, 2014, 09:45:56 PM
Just saw the advert. I wonder what bitcointalk wouldn't advertside? lol

I am very happy that the cash out problems got resolved, let's gamble now!

The adds will bring a lot of depositors, the bonuses are now reduced to 27% because the present members want to stay in, when we will pass bank16 a lot of players will reinvest their income and the add campaign on Bitcointalk will probably still be ongoing so we should also pass bank17 in two or three weeks; passing a new bank is now less expensive since the BTC price is decreasing
You could get a 71% bonus a few days ago..It seems like a lot now

If the deposits slow down again, the bonuses will increase and that should increase the deposits and allow the players to withdraw money

Let's imagine that the deposits slow down a lot, if someone is ready to sell its level for a 80% discount ie get 0.2 per 1BTC of level sold it means that someone depositing 1BTC could get a 200% bonus, the bank level will raise of 0.50 and 0.50 will be withdraw to the player that sold 2.5BTC level for 0.5BTC
Getting a 200% bonus will certainly make a few players deposit, even at bank 20 or more
4470  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: February 08, 2014, 09:35:56 PM
You could refer like 2000 people to coinbase. Lol

Do you get money when you refer people to coinbase?

4473  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for a 7.2 BTC loan. on: February 07, 2014, 05:02:43 PM
Hi everyone. My name is James and I am looking for a 7.2 BTC loan. The reason why I need that many BTC would be to buy the Prospero X3 bitcoin miner. The only problem is that I could only repay the loan in may-june because the batch is available in the end of april which means it'll take a good two weeks of shipping and then I'd need to start mining engough coins to repay. For collateral, I have no idea what I could give. If you have an idea, let me know. By the way, I would be ready to take a 10-20% interest with it.

Escrow Required

Explain your escrow. As for the collateral, it needs to equal or exceed the value of the loan.

The escrow would take the coins from both parties then give the coins from the 1st to the 2nd and vice-versa. Prevents being scammed. I guess I'll forget about a loan since I don't have 5K in collateral Tongue

Right since you would be able to buy the miner by yourself if you had 5000$ available

If your project is sound (do the calculations twice then do them again to be certain you will make a profit), convince a few friends and your family, everyone likes to make easy money
4474  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: February 07, 2014, 05:00:18 PM
-Work hard and save the money then buy 2BTC

-Create a website about Bitcoin and advertise it

-Sell something for bitcoins

-If you are a gambler, you can play pok.er in bitcoins or play on makeBTC.org (not an advice)
4475  Economy / Speculation / Re: and the weekend is here, up? on: February 07, 2014, 04:57:32 PM
Price rallied during every recent weekends.
Wondering what will happen during this weekend after this hard correction.

I plan on buying a bit in the next week or two so I don't mind a small correction, that could be healthy

Adoption is getting in place, each day a lot of new people hear about Bitcoin and most of them are really interested to know more. A technology is nothing without a user friendly experience and we are not there yet.
BTC's price will increase exponentially when the dollar will crash and when the FE.D will increase QE and everyone flees the dollar, the goal is to enter gold and bitcoin before that happens, we may have a few months left before it happens, maybe more but it will happen
4476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy Shit - Look what i just found in the Interwebs on: February 07, 2014, 04:48:39 PM
if you zoom in , you can make same pattern and picture for when it went to 1-30 , then to 200, etc etc says nothing

prices are going up again, so... Smiley stop dreamin' 'bout $100.

Smiley

You are misunderstanding his post lol  Grin

I was quoting according to
-" We are going back to $100, your money is gone"

-"I would love for it to go back to $100"

maybe you misunderstood me or maybe I misunderstood them.

Without any more negative news I don't think that we could see 100$/coin because it would bounce back before, Bitcoin has a lot of support

All the traders that would sell if the price was crashing down would buy back when it start bouncing again
4477  Economy / Speculation / Re: i put almost all my money and lost a lot on: February 07, 2014, 04:46:34 PM
do not do my error, go away until you can, this is a gigantic bubble, in few years people will laugh at "that bitcoin bubble of 2013-2014" and books will write on it. There is no future.

I followed the same pattern of thoughts in 2011 and regretted a lot later.

I personally don't trust this crash because it was started by gox. Right now gox is almost at the same price than stamp, other exchanges are not following it anymore. If I had to bet I would say this downswing won't last long. Hopefully I'm right.

The downtrend could lead the price lower but we have to look at the long term perspective. If the price goes down more it will be a nice buying opportunity to get our hands on some bitcoins
4478  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: The Bitcoin Shop ! WE SELL BITCOIN WITH PAYPAL ! JUST AMAZING ! on: February 07, 2014, 04:08:42 PM
Yeah, no. Your business will fail. Just quit now and count your losses. Yes, you will sell a few bitcoins without a problem, but then there will be a jerk, who buys a shitload, has a verified account (that isn't hard at all) and after the transaction asks PayPal for a refund. He only has to claim that someone hacked his account (you can fake this by using Tor, a VPN or whatever) and he will get his money back. That way he has gets free Bitcoins and you guys will be bankrupted.

And no, you cannot do anything against it.

Why you act like an a***ole?
I am acting like an asshole? Well, that wasn't my intention, just wanted to make clear that they most likely will go bankrupt because of some douche.

If they only sell small amounts they can't get bankrupt from a sole buyer, can they?

They are probably hoping that their fat margin will cover their losses
4479  Economy / Gambling / Re: MakeBTC.org is the best passive BTC income invest on: February 07, 2014, 04:06:31 PM
Yes, all of you new and established members are supporting the ponzi and want us older established members to shut up so you can scam some more in the ponzi.

I am stating facts, I am excited by the new developments in the website, I am not advising anyone to bet on this gambling site, I did gamble and for now it has been a lot of fun
-Bonus of 71% is available
-makeBTC add will get 1200 000 impressions on the forum
-BTC's price getting a bit lower may help makeBTC since it is now cheaper to get to a new bank Smiley
4480  Economy / Speculation / Re: I want to invest everything I have in bitcoin this year ($12,300). 2014 specs? on: February 07, 2014, 03:41:17 PM
I think 6BTC is enough for anybody btw. no need to spend all your money.

lol why six? why not five or ten? i'm in this for the cold hard cash. if my investments can't net me at least a million within the next couple years, then it's a waste of time.

Why a million and not 800,000? or 700,000?

I am not looking to be rich in fiat money, it is more interested to have a lot of purchasing power..
