how many coins does the creator hold in this project?

My stake is/will be 1 BTC worth.  I will not get any NXT for free.

so if there were 10 bitcoins sent to the exodus address total than that would mean that he would have 100million next right? is that how that works? any idea where i can see how many coins were sent to the exodus address total?

can someone link me to some more details on the physical mechanics of this system? do the people who mint blocks just chose the threshold for minimum tx fee that they will include? whats the max block size? how will the max block size be changed in the future? its supposed to be 1 minute between blocks right? what happens if a stake holder decided to mint a block sooner than that?

so many questions, i need some specifications or a white paper or something. can anyone help me out.
Come-from-Beyond can help you, but I think he now sleeps.

thanks ill send him a message.

wait im confused. is the code open source? has anyone audited it? im VERY interested in a 100% proof of stake coin but i cant drop real resources into closed source code. that would be economic suicide. what convinced other people to do this?
Full source code will be released ~Jan 3rd, 2014 depending on stakeholder vote.
Partial source code is available here.

thats scary as hell but clearly this guy put some effort into this thing. im going to take a HUGE gamble and buy in a little because a 100% proof of stake coin thats not a bitcoin fork would really do well on the major exchanges if this source code is released and it turns out to be legit.

it can be a bit frustrating, but you can get some at localbitcoins.com, but the markup is usually quite high so i'm not sure if it's even worth using them.

if you go to localbitcoins and search through all the people who accept cash deposit into bank account you will find some with pretty reasonable rates. like me for example *cough*.

seems like most people there are trying to make money off trading.

well yea Tongue

Yes, but not in every country. I see only 3 local sellers and the markup is quite high indeed

Yea i can only speak for the united states.

I'll be following this thread as I'm in the same boat.  Looking for a simplistic way to get a few coins.  I guess I could ask someone I've traded with before but I'd hate to be a bother and another option is always nice.

pm me and ill help you out.

All you are going to do is join DPR in a Supermax.

You're making yourself a huge red target by lots of agencies with alphabets in their name.

NSA, FBI, CIA, DOJ, AFP, ASIS, SIS, FSS.....

None of them will have any sense of humor with this.

there is nothing illegal about this. atleast not yet.
