4461  Economy / Gambling / Re: SniXPoker - Q&A Thread <--- Poker players support needed here! on: August 04, 2017, 03:47:44 AM
Lol.  I don't think that's viable.  What platform are you gonna use?  Ethereum?  Good luck.

Anyway, I don't like the model the Snix Poker guys are doing.  It's like another scam ICO brewing here.  Why not have a working poker site first then operate that for two to three years then organize an ICO for expansion purposes?

I mean who are these guys and are they to be trusted?
I already brought up Virtue Poker and it's built on Ethereum. I guess, "good luck" to me and others that want this to happen. There's a video available to explain the basic concepts which are pretty intriguing. "A P2P Decentralized Poker Platform Built on Ethereum". They just released the whitepaper, too.
Perhaps starting up a poker site is expensive, by the way. You could have the entire website worked out and still be missing one thing left to jumpstart it: funds.

Who knows? Decentralized poker is a big dream of mine. I would love to see it come to fruition.
4462  Economy / Gambling / Re: SniXPoker - Q&A Thread <--- Poker players support needed here! on: August 04, 2017, 02:32:07 AM
With 1% rake and 1BB cap I would definitely play there. But low rake alone don't bring in loosing players, and with low rake you need huge volume to become profitable. Anyway, I hope you succeed.
I think a decentralized poker system will bring in tons of players, good and bad. Besides, is it not often the fish that complain the software providers are rigging the deck, cheating against them?

All demographics should be satisfied with something that is trustless.

Surely someone so vehement about supporting CloakCoin wouldn't "lose their address" right?

You also have two very contrasting opinions here.

if bitcoin price back to 1475 usd which was before i think 2 or 3 weeks then cloak coin also back to 0.45 usd Smiley as we all know that cloak price is not increasing. bitcoin price increasing so cloakcoin usd price increasing so cloak is still on same price. at least cloak price should be 10 usd now

bitcoin to 1475? how dumb are you? in you wet dreams u will see bitcoin again at 1475  Cheesy

Bitcoin for me means a lot. Mainly it is an investment platform for me as well as a trading tool. I make most of my money through altcoin trading as well as selling services. For most people it is also a trading platform, but we will soon see that change in the near future to a fully functional currency.

The old wizardee was fully supportive of Cloak. There would always be at least one post every page. The new one? Not so much.

Prove you own some Cloak before July 27, 2017 and we'll start talking. Even June would be fine.

4464  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Old Steam Account I Don't Use on: August 03, 2017, 01:04:00 PM
Steam accounts can be easily recovered and thus cannot be realistically listed as items for sale. Regardless of intention, there's no honest way to do this. IIRC Steam even disallows the sale of accounts.
4465  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch - ICO - Earn BKB for bug reports on: August 03, 2017, 08:27:47 AM
Can anyone link me the ICO topic which isn't closed, or is there no other topic after the one which closed?

I have two questions;

How is it possible that the funds raised have no limit if the coincap is 100m?
Why did you close in 2016?

1) Token cap is 100M. Buyback price is based on funds raised.

Funds raised / 70,000,000 = Price per token

2) Closing was due to Dean wanting to take a break, IIRC.

Sucks to hear that you will be closing. Any chance I could know the reason you have decided to close?

It's been almost 4 years I've worked on BetKing.
I've done it mostly by myself except from some help here and there but the majority of the time it has been me that deals with development, marketing, promo, support, security, looking after others funds, dealing with abuse Wink etc

Almost every other dice site has more than one member of staff, at least some support staff.

I wanted to make BetKing the #1 Bitcoin gambling site for dice, casino, sports and poker.
It's going to take far too much time on my own to get there Smiley (I had a lot of devs let me down over the past 2 years too slowing things down a lot)

The reason I tried to sell shares during the ICO was to raise funds to hire the right people to actually try to make this happen.
But we failed to raise the funds needed. Mostly due to bad timing with it being the end of year and Bitcoin price rising fast and a not so well thought out pitch Smiley

I also gave away between 3-400 Bitcoin in promos, prizes etc and made what I feel is the best dice site that is easiest to use over the past 2 years.

But apparently according to the stats on some sites not everyone agrees Wink

BetKing is very profitable and I have made good money off of it but I'm not the type of person to settle for being #2 at something.
It's a very unhealthy obsession that has started effecting my daily life off of BetKing which isn't good Smiley.
I could leave it open and neglect it and still make a very good living but I wouldn't be happy with that.

So I've decided to close instead.

I've not decided what I will do instead but I know I'll be taking a long break after everyone is cashed out.

Thanks for everyone who gave support over the years.

gl

Anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, it's been asked before.

And the most recent topic was bumped only a day ago.

Is this similar to Virtue Poker's decentralized system for poker hands?
4468  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Why price of BCH differs a lot on different places? on: August 03, 2017, 04:44:25 AM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#markets

It's $900 on one place and $200 on another.

What's going on?

Altcoin dump vs BCH dump. Easier to buy/sell cash at higher/lower price.

good afternoon. I participated in the bounty of the company on Twitter in the list I have under No. 169 but there are no charges for the work done. Why is that ? The Cabinet operated while working and noted the number of retweets. This is cheating and all the work wasted ..?

If you paid attention then you would come to the realization that users would be compensated for their efforts.

Just a reminder to previous bounty participants since I'm seeing a lot of confusion.

All legit participants who were in the program before now will be compensated with some BetKing Bankroll Token after the ICO ends in September.

Just hold on and wait. Feeling indignant yet remaining ignorant won't do you any favors.
4473  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZoomDice.com - Bitcoin Dice Site (Dogecoin Added Today) on: August 02, 2017, 03:47:28 AM
I really like how your website UI look like. Good job, and even more awesome cause you just added dogecoin!

Keep it going like this folks
I like how you completely disregarded everything about the site and what's been happening recently regarding the owner and their lack of experience in the gambling and management field.

Wait... you couldn't have simply not read and posted without having any care for what you're writing, right?  Roll Eyes
4474  Economy / Reputation / Re: >>>>EVEN WE ARE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS CLOUDPOST YOU ACCUSED US OF CHEATING<<<<< on: August 01, 2017, 10:53:50 PM
Also it looks like you are talking directly to cloudpost, i don't see why is this in meta. Better place for this post is PM.
It was moved from the Reputation board.

You and the other members of you probably shouldn't have been accepted to a signature
campaign in the first place.  Everything you write is garbled garbage, and in raging caps
lock to boot.  You're not here "to learn bitcoin" at all; you're here to shit post all over this
forum, just like everyone else on that local board.  I'm just going to say this:  If you got
banned unjustly...this forum is richer for it.  No problems from my perspective.
I can agree with that but I don't feel like quoting a bunch of garbage posts from the history. To be frank, I don't really care enough to do it. Maybe if OP bitches a little bit more then I'll bring it up Wink

I'm bumping this thread so that I won't have to make a new topic (because I actually can use the search function.)

This would be a good use of time because I do notice that there are a lot of signature campaigns and non-campaign services in the section. It can be difficult for one to navigate through the mesh to find either and would simplify the process for both parties.

Asked before, okay. How about now? Does anyone still have interest in this other than me?

Where are the poker freerolls?
Gone.

Removing the freerolls is great and all but then how about the "challenge" rolls? Get rid of the 100 Flops Bronze Challenge. Just do it. If you don't want to spew to the colluders, then you'll get rid of it and force them to play against players that have way higher skill than them.

If you don't want to do this then you need to up the security against collusion and catch them. After all, most of your playerbase is in micro stakes.

I don't think this is a cause for concern given that the post seems justified. If it were ban evasion for a different purpose (other than to inform others about the ban) then it would be disallowed.

IIRC this was allowed in the past (can't find the reply for that). I personally wouldn't hold it against LS for this.

Hi DarkDays,

We sent you that message as a courtesy, as you've been quite vocal on here regarding what you consider improper player conduct. We don't disagree. We're working on ways to improve what we do.

I'm sorry that you feel we aren't addressing your questions to your satisfaction.

We'd rather have you on our team to help tackle multi-accounters, but you're more than entitled to express your opinions how you choose.

- Jason.
Jason, I can't help but feel that your team isn't being efficient enough at combatting collusion.

I understand that the worst thing to do is to ban an innocent member that was coincidentally involved in some suspicious hands, but the hand history provided by Sadsong and I exhibited at least two dozen hands from the pairs of players. Multiple times, in fact, there was redundant information to further solidify the fact that these players were intentionally recreating the same circumstances in their hands in order to take place in the freerolls.
If you simply had one staff member looking over suspicious tables (high H/H, low avg. pot) then it would be a simple matter. I myself have already marked at least a score of players due to the fact that when I even sit down at their tables, both players instantly leave.
The frustration should be justified given that you've allowed this for so long and the fact that players are revealing (obvious) colluders left and right shows that the security team needs work. If you cannot see the basic collusion then how can players feel safe at higher stakes?
