4461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: February 17, 2017, 06:15:52 PM
That is a good idea for but it is also a bad idea. If you have a casino or a gambling site and, well lets say that you are a very good, trusted with a very high reputation and everyone is really gambling in your casino or gambling site.
If you are having that type of casino, giving insurances everytime a gambler loses they will take advantage on that system and it will also have an effect in your casino or gambling site.
There are gambler that her really big and so if they lose everytime and they did was to save all their losses or insurance in your casino, there will come a time that all his savings from insurances will be big that you cannot pay it.
The good thing about it I think well is that there will be really a lot of gamblers that will visit your casino, thats a given.
4462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Martingale at Rollin.io 0.1BTC -> 0.2BTC on: February 17, 2017, 06:01:12 PM
Martingale can be the best and at the same time it can be the worst. OP was lucky that he martingaled when there were so many greens. If you could have been greedy and continued for a while, he could have bumped into a losing streak which could have wiped his all account. It is good that he knew when to stop.

The worst I've seen when testing in LibreOffice Calc is 15 losses in a row. So, it would require a quite huge sum to be able to coop with that. Still fascinating system though. Smiley

I am new about these strategy but I am using it since I discovered these strategy. I have been using my faucet bitcoins to gamble and i think martingale must be really used with a big money in hand.
My longest losing streak hit is 23 and it is really dissapointing. Well that is the end of my gambling activity that day because of the big bets that i have and i did not see my bitcoins.
Martingale is a good strategy but it is indeed a worst strategy too.
4463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 17, 2017, 01:51:23 PM
I think this is related to the will that the human being has to always take revenge on something, thinking that this is a way to recover the losses. In many situations this works, but in gambling people usually end up losing more money.

Well, they really want to take back what they gave been lost. It is somewhat means taking a revenge in the game or gambling.
But unfortunately, not all gamblers are getting back what they have lost but just increase the lost capital. Luckily not all people usually lost, but in rare occassions, there are people that are winning.
4464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 17, 2017, 01:46:20 PM
I cashout it my money in coinsph and i play a gamble again. For the time being i won again i cashout again and play again and so on so fort.

Wow, I hope i also had that luckiness that you have. Winning everytime you gamble is a really big or huge feat for me.
Though i don't really gamble that much, i do want to win evertime i gamble. Hope that your win roll still to continue, but try to control yourself from gambling. Try to save your winning rather than using it for gambling again.
4465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: February 16, 2017, 09:51:09 PM
If it's done right, and the person is lucky -most important- and with decent skills for sport betting it can be profitable, not on long term but at least there is a possibility of making positive return from it rather than just fun.

Don't know about Dice though, even though the house edge is lower than say Texas H rake and sportbetting, the fact that no skills is involved at all takes away that part completely and it's just about getting lucky IMO.

That is right, having it done right, lucky and with skills, you can really make gambling a profitable activity. Though it only works for games like poker, black jack, sports betting and other gambling games that requires skills.
When it comes to dice, i think you just need two: Lucky and being reponsible for what will might happen. That really is a good thing.
4466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SURVEY on the popularity of these ways to gamble. on: February 16, 2017, 09:37:41 PM
Tongue It has been discussed several times in here
Sports betting and Dice will be a tough choice in terms of popularity and mechanism. My vote goes to Sports betting because that's fun to do and make your shows more enjoyable to watch (at least your bet more guaranteed to win than dice game).
These two really a competitive choice, but noone ask that there are a lot of gamblers that like or vote for dice than sports betting while sports betting will ensure your win with analysis of their picked team or player.
In my opinion, maybe what I stated earlier is the reason why they pick dice games over sports betting, analyzing a team or player, watching the game live, it is a hassle to them, beside in dice game you just decide to have a higher or lower bets without hassle of analyzing them, you just rely on luck.
And as a matter of fact, a lot of people are finding a way to have an easy money, they dont want thinking, they just want to go rolling and winning,.They lose, well theres another day, you win, gonna hit a bar.
4467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: February 16, 2017, 09:23:42 PM
For me gambling is where you take risk may it be in a game or in life. I don't treat gambling game just for fun because I gamble almost every day to earn profits(which I do most of the time) and if I don't treat gambling seriously, winning earning profit from gambling will just be a thing in the past.

I agree your principle of gambling where you take risk may it be in an online game or real life, but the statements is a really ironic to what you will say next.
First if you are gambling everyday, i won't say that you are addicted to gambling, but the thing that you treat gambling seriously and hoping to earn from it, well it's not that bad, but i think it is absurd.
Gambling must be taken to please or so you can have fun playing, not hoping for a profit, you must be really addicted to gambling if you are like this, you must stop taking it seriously before it gets worst.
4468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 16, 2017, 09:04:19 PM
IMHO the problem is not about stopping to gamble...the problem we have is we want to grow our bitcoins and we have run out of ideas on the correct way of doing it, and we will stop at nothing to achieve this!

Also include that we are the real problem, us the gamblers. Because of not being contented on what we got, we keep on gambling pursuing our aim to grow our bitcoins. And the result is really frustrating that ends to addiction and other gambling problem. If you think that you are going into severe problem, better to cure that earlier than today.

But the thing is, gamblers nowadays are not really that aware of their addiction in gambling. They are focused on earning or getting some profits from it.
They do not care if everyone say that hes addicted or not, what he wants is to win and not stop until there he has no winnings. Saying that, we cant cure someone's addiction if he's not accepting that he is a gambling addict.
4469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 16, 2017, 08:39:44 PM
Everyone wants a trusted and a secure casino, gamblers want a good costumer for every site, though, not all of them are having those services.
I do choose sites or casinos with faucets because i dont really like spending my own money. And the best thing is a friendly interface so it will be not so confusing even for the newcomers.
4470  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 16, 2017, 03:29:30 AM
Money is better to invest, and it should be done in a real business. I trust what I can feel or see on the Internet it can be temporarily or threatened.
of course if you have a lot of capital would be better if you invest it because of course it will grow your money. but you do not forget to save your money. because it is very important for your future
I am not that negative type of person but not all investments are having an opportunity of earning profits. It is the same as gambling.
If you are a newbie in investing, before it,  you must really check the one who will you put your investment, they may be a scam and fooling many people.
4471  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: February 16, 2017, 03:22:30 AM
If you will build a bank for bitcoin will it be really popular to people? I think it will be not that popular.
First, will you be really accept the consequences of holding a bank of bitcoin online? For me it is a big responsibility to be trusted and you must not disappoint your costumers.
Second, you must have a lot and big patience for that bank. Costumers are always right, and they will always have complaints about your bank and your services.
Third, banks are always close for being robbed, so are you ready for those hackers that will try to hack and rob the currencies that you are holding? You must have a security for those hackers. And bitcoin is a really popular cryptocurrency so it might happen in your bank.
4472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 16, 2017, 03:09:42 AM
I will not share my gambling activities with anyone, and I don't like to share this with others. But some of my friends know, but they also play so I don't mind if I play with them. If I lost my bet, i really feel so bad. I do online gambling, so this helps me to hide my gambling activity.

Same here...I try to hide my daily habit even from my family members. I will be ashamed if one or more people in my real life knew my gambling activity. So far, everything works as expected and hopefuly will stay longer. Gambling is a bad thing here in my neighborhood.
That is bad thing i guess. If they caught you gambling it will be a bigger punishment for you. Maybe it is time to tell them the truth.
Though it is not that bad if you are not addicted to it, if it is just a hobby of yours it is not really that bad. Hobby is not to be ashamed of.
I do hide my gambling when i was a kid because it is a bad thing in our place too but i did stop gambling when i was introduced to online gambling. Online gambling or casino was not a bad thing, in real life gambling yes it is a bad thing, but online gambling is not.
4473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 16, 2017, 03:03:02 AM
I'm usually stop betting if I reach 10% profit from initial deposit so my answer is not !
I'm ever experience if I keep betting , I'm loss more than I can afford
I also do the same thing, but the thing is i do not even win with this percentage in my gambling activities. I always lose when I gamble.
Though if I win and it is really a big win I think I will stop  gambling and start making a withdraw but I will not withdraw it all.
I will leave some bitcoin so I can use it the other day or another time i do gambling.
4474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 16, 2017, 02:56:36 AM
Ethically, I guess it's wrong if you are using money that should be used for something else, house expenses, children's university education and if it's more than a hobby, Other than that I guess it's about your own beliefs and opinions.
You are right, but the good thing is I do not use my own money nowadays and I use the free bitcoins or satoshi that the casino gives.
It is just my past time i think, though i am also hoping that i could win. Though the amount that I am gambling is a small amount, i am aiming to make it double, but i can control myself.
And i think gambling is really wrong if you are not being responsible to what you are doing and losing.
4475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 16, 2017, 02:50:23 AM
No one can't become rich from gambling, because gambling isn't a regular source of income and if you win big amount one time you try to gamble more to win more that result all your money to be lost.
That is right. I do gamble, and it started the day i was introduced in these forum and earning bitcoin.
Eversince i did not win and stop gambling my own money and savings. I was addicted to gambling that time but now I was just using my bitcoins from Faucets and use free rolls that they give.
4476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 16, 2017, 02:45:35 AM
The earliest time I can remember gambling was in grade 6 or 7. I must have been around fourteen or fifteen years old. In school we would pitch coins - nickels, dimes, quarters - at a wall. Whoever's coin was closest to the wall won all the coins on that round. I remember we would mostly play in the school library because it had flat carpet, the best surface for pitching coins. Ahhh... the good old days.
That really was so early to gamble, in that days maybe i am just a normal kid with normal life. Just a simple and silent kid.
But i think it is a good old days and it is good to remember that days. The good thing is you knew early the pros and cons of gambling and maybe you are good in controlling your gambling activities nowadays.
4477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin gambling games? on: February 15, 2017, 07:20:23 PM
Blackjack is extremely popular IMO in most bitcoin casino's offering it, Slots is popular -although I don't know why, odds are awful and I don't find it fun at all-, Dice is popular. Sport betting is popular and is a form of gambling, I think it ranks at the same level or just below dice.
Blackjack are really popular to the people that want to test their skills and also luck. Gambling and are always together.
But dice is the most popular game I know, it is fun because of the risks I think, it is really exciting. If everyone wants to test their luck, dice games are the best.
Sports bettings are also good especially when you are a sports fan. Though I don't really bet on sweating sports like basketball or football, I do bet on tournaments in Dota or LoL, I am a player and I know and understand the plays and it is really exciting.
Dice still is the most popular for me, then sports betting followed by skill based gambling games.
4478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prop Bets on: February 15, 2017, 07:09:35 PM
So that was called prop bets. We do these kind of things when we are kids when we are watching basketball sometimes.
We bet on who will be scoring first and who will be doing the last points on every quarter, you can really bet on anything. I have also watch these in the movie where they do these bet, its will smith if I am not mistaken, gotta try these bet.
4479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: February 15, 2017, 07:00:40 PM
Trading can probably be considered a gamble. Because you never know the outcome, it all depends on your estimation if how much you know the movements of the market. That is why people say that trading experts can earn good profit in trading, it is because they know the flow of the markets, otherwise they would also lose money us because we just put our money on a coin hoping for it to rise but we don't know what will be the outcome.
That's right, trading is considered as a gamble because there are still risks when trading, you never know might happen
There still might be some price change that you forget to look out that's why you were being dissapointed. If I will be trading and I don't know what will be the pros and cons, that will be absurd, not knowing it first.
Before trading first time, I must read some articles or tips here posted in these forum for a head start. Many experts are here to answer your queries about trading but not all, try to find the other answers on your own.
4480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: February 15, 2017, 06:50:23 PM
Of course it is not easy, nobody said that it was easy. Actually, that's why there are doctors that tries to cure all these addictions. If you struggle to stop gambling, you can try to find other activity that you like, and it can be anything that you like, from  games playing to books reading, you should think of other things and not gambling. Even if you go work somewhere, you will feel better

I do not know why it is not easy for you but in my experience it is easy to give up or even forget gambling.  This question depends on the person if he is addicted or not in gambling.  And if you are addicted, self admission is the first step in giving up gambling.  The addicted person should know that he is addicted to gambling and need help.  If he do not admit it then there is no way his addiction will be treated.
In my case I did admit to myself that I am addicted to gambling, I admitted to stop it for my family and loved ones.
It is for the better and must be stopped this addiction before it really gets worse. Right I still gamble though just for fun.
I do some rolls and bets on dice games but I use bitcoins from the faucet, I meant their faucet. My friends really helped me to overcome my addiction.
