Well I see only one way for Bitcoin to get off the dime and somehow the devs of many flavors work out a solution to scaling
That is if Litecoin starts to zoom out stuff on lighting and other stuff now that they have segregated witness up
If that lever does not work to move these guys...I"ve no frigging clue

So it seems all the Antminers L3+ are sold out at Bitmains. Even with that July date.
I didnt touht its possible, but seems like it is.

I'd never get hashnet, but from what I can tell they are out as well shows stock=0 and I can't seem to add any to cart for the experiment of checking only would be nice if this stayed this way...say as a 9 month mystery (then again same odds of me being natalie portman's love puppet..yep still got a shot!) Wow! Bitmain earned about 1,2 Mio USD within the last 12 hours, selling their cloud L3+ on hashnest. Mining is very profitable at the moment - aehmmmm - for Bitmain.  Wow, that's a solid sum. Is there any financial info available about bitmain company? No, but they are one frigging 'smug' company about now I figure.....balls to the wall on difficulty and they are holding our balls to boot  Then again, meme below sums up what they think of us |

Not every movement upwards is a pump nor is every movement downwards a dump. Please stop using those words inappropriately. 2000$ soon?
That would be nice. But I LIKE to use inappropriate words! As far as I'm concerned if any asset goes up $50 in a day its a pump and if it goes down $50 a day its a dump. Or at least it would be referred to that way if it was a particular stock. We are using USD here to say what BTC is worth imho. Them's the rules imho. |

hahahaha, you can still look good, just don't race for pinks. it would still be a money printer. sometime more sometime less. right now it would pull around 3200 a month or more at 7.5 gh around 5200 at 10.9 gh I would give it a try if they weren't gone already.
Understood, but if it doesn't perform at full speed why be charged full price? Imagine if you bought 10? Expecting 100GH/S but only getting 70GH/s You've lost 3 full machines worth of power...... so what is the price gonna be when it hits the market? most miners ive seen take 4 to six months for return ROI, at 70 gh "at todays price and difficulty" it would give over $34,000.00 a month, at 100 gh it would be over $50,000.00 a month. the stats Ide saw showed a day and a half at 7.5 gh the rest of the time it was cranking at 10 to 12 gh, sounds good to me, I would hope though that the kinks get worked out for a solid product, but as is, your making money. 3 months or less and your in the black. that's a good deal no matter if you look at its low numbers or its high numbers. There is speculation of when it will hit market as well. If what i've read is correct the group buy here has over 100, more likely 120 on order\paid for. That alone is 1.08+Th/s in one order. From what i'm gathering there are 3 or 4 other orders of similar numbers. so you will not have long before difficulty rises sharply with between a third and at times double the current network has rate all launching within a few weeks of each other. ROI will be around 6 months but it's a guessing game really as Dash difficulty adjusts after each 2.5 minute block. I'll make a bet here..that baikal will have an equiv unit (might be half sized and half the elec use) ..anyway ballpark...before these units even ship Just saying....and lets not forget pinidea...they also may just dump some units of equiv hash/power in the mix as well anyway, I'm out....I'll roi on my bitmain stuff...but got slapped down hard by them (taking back miners to mine against seg witness and blowing up pow scrypt to take over the network like they have bitcoin) ..... not to mention pre-mine before shipping which could apply here......the units in the group buy may not be the units mining in data halls for the next 2 months anyway, unlikely...but the group buy here and time line was too rich for my blood..but good luck to all (no dog in this fight) |

Cointelegraph has now removed the advertisement and Coinpayments does not longer provide payment service. But the scam is still active using the website and order form. Nice Job. I should have probably been proactive and contacted these guys as well to remove, good to see someone is more on the ball on this then myself. (If a newbie does not get scam'd by an ASIC maker and a bell rings...do you get your angel wings?) lol but anyway nice save |

Shoddy research and evil prep. Not up to meglomanic knc evil standards. I call it a scam. I sent a transaction 5 days ago with the proper fee... It still has 0 confirmations.  Bitcoin is practically useless at this point until one of these scaling proposals are activated. Ditto, took 2 days for mine. Getting beyond stupid. |

well bitcoin holding is a good way to make money in an 'illusionary' type of way In other words, say you have 100 btc from 2013.....can you spend it ..NO....I mean Just last July 2016 it was at $450 bucks and as I speak it is at $1,754 usd Bitcoin is a frigging 'tease' ...you have the illusion of making big $$$ but you can never spend any of it ..because it may to to 10k and then you would feel damn silly...so you putter along poor.....and watch your 'paper profits' and fret...it is like having a hot girlfriend out of town...you just pray something bad does not happen and she runs away with a hotter 'blockchain' leaving you all the downs of being rich w/o the sex/drugs and rock and roll.....as the upside (depressed myself...have to count my stash x $1,754 to perk self up again) |

THIS show why asic mining has become terrible. only a hand full of builders and in the case of bitmain they can flood a coin with hashing gear whenever they want to do it.
Phil - market is self-regulatory entity. I t will react on flooding with coins on market. For example, Coinbase already has it in their buying dashboard - so sort of earlier adopters. So with increase of difficulty price can go up, compensating losses for miners. And it is basically does not matter will be market flooded with Bitmain or with 1M of personal miners with GPUs. It will affect only on the rate of market response - in case of Bitmain will be accelerated one. I agree..for those who already have miners price going up will save our bacon....but for ordering July or later..imho bitmain on such an LTC price rise will do what it did last time slow/stop shipment of already paid for machines (the so called firmware problem again) and thus would not get any at this point in time the big change from years past...asic makers like knc and others would release a batch ....fill their data halls..then supposedly..(likely later still with diff rise) you could 'kinda' count on a lag in the equipment of 2-3 months while you/they digested w/o blowing up the difficulty bitmain just did this in the last month or so to pre-mine and try to stop seg witness..that did not work but they drove up the difficulty and pre-mined my prev equipment too boot well bitmain is balls to the wall and that is no longer the case on shooting out equipment asap...thus will be imho NO lag of a month or so to mine...just blamo pump to dump 2nd point mentioned above..if for some reaon on their pre-mining your paid equip 4-6 weeks the price would say of LTC double or triple...you may not get your miner till much later...knc did this to Neptune owners in 2015 with btc equip..used pre-paid miners to fill their data halls first for 4-5 months then shipped when difficulty was high the original paid owners of the equip ..Neptune's got maybe 1/4 back of their purchase costs so I agree with you but I THINK THAT THIS HAS CHANGED...WITH PRE-MINE ..THEM BEING THE ONLY MNFG AND THE WAY THEY COULD DO THIS AGAIN ON AN LTC PRICE PUMP OF 2X OR MORE thus I'm out ...... they MAY NOT do so ....but the fact they COULD do so..along with the other risks...make July or later too risky for my taste it was always 'flimsy' enough my bets on asic equip (been very lucky if paranoid) w/o having to worry about if I see a price pump of a coin and order equip it will be held ....with such tricks...hard to make choices on this kinda thing if the rules are constantly changing to favor the mnfg who also mines .....too weird for me ...I'm out. Buit again, imho worse case if you got a May 5th or previous bitmain miner you probably will be fine to ROI ..it may still take 12 months if really nuts....but should be OK.. but July on .....er ....that is really pushing it imho with what we are speculating on here/suspect and have seen bitmain do in the past |

I read that as well. 15th does not sound like a lot. Could we argue that the May 30th batch is already mining ? I noticed a huge rise in hasrate this last week 15TH dumps me from 13k profit a month to 3k. So getting July batch imho is not wise by now. No don't think the 15TH hash has started yet. Maybe this week I expect 30% difficulty plus Are you assuming that the 15TH will be added to ltc ? There are 5 other scrypt alts that are very likely to be added onto as well The assumption (from what I gather) will be LTC due to Bitmain...pre-mining and filling of data halls and hashnet etc..... So yeah ..it will be maybe that bad Hope those folk who are pushing this are incorrect..but makes sense for bitmain to pre-mine and over sell hashnet at inflated prices and move them out the door in next 4-6 months and make all the $$$ at the front end of the LTC seg witness hype..and then own scrypt-pow network for mining/sales/equip like they have bitcoin network held hostage....as evil plans go ..its a gem |

does anyone Received L3+ miner Tracking number of July Batch in May or Till now.....
Which May batch? My May 5 batch was delivered on May 8 I would like to hear from you about the performance of this machine,how much coins you can mine per week and what is the real ROI ,can we mine any other coin apart from litecoin,just want to hear about the reviews from legit purchasers so that i have to make up my mind to invest in it. It makes about 1.19 LTC/day at the moment at litecoinpool (ignore total LTC mined, that is from my Titans which I no longer own), and 8.413 LTC total since 2 pm PST May 8. You can see hash rate fluctuates a bit on poolside but 24 hours average is 500 MH. I also have a few on hashnest, they make a little more since Bitmain pays for 504 MH/L3+ constantly. With 3 L3+ hashing on Hashnest since May 7, all 4 combined already paid for the physical L3+ Hence, I decided to order more July 20-30 batch.  I got 4 L3's April 1st there abouts. Then, L3+'s for a bit less, also 4. Then, a couple weeks ago and got 1 more L3+, on the bet of some kinda lag on them coming out like toasters. That now seems silly. WTF was I thinking? Worse case if they really slam them out beyond the 15TH tossed around on bitcointalk, I should at worst be even. (And feeling like an ASIC camp follower again.) Sigh For those thinking more in July, I'd be cautious. You may ROI, but it may be a 15 month race, vs a 7 month sprint. If you are counting on LTC pump to get you over the hump, imho if coin doubles Bitmain will keep your machines and mine them a month longer, again imho. Seems that is the new reality, premine 6 weeks, or more if price pumps, then ship on the downside or Overcharge on hashnet. In other words, the asic gaming tables are rigged. I'm out |

After reading these posts about bitmain and getting their equipment, I feel "dirty". Excited, but so dirty. I thought my ASIC tramp days were over after my knc camp following days. It is all so familiar. Using the web to "hook up" with the latest asic. The payment in that evil btc. The sadistic thrill of pre-order 'blind date' action. Will the asic show up?
