Here is the miner tier stuff for NEO

looks shaky IMHO...no real world use yet

looks a lot like Paycoin...(and I'm in the mxc project and run the M2Pro MXC Miners group on FaceBook with 2,471 on such.

but.....not acting like a hardware with staking project...likely no real world use until well into 2024-25 IMHO.

dubious

here is the latest today on how tiers work...along with 'super secret top tiers' they won' talk about (sigh) all bonding MXC

and you have to bond more when certain goal posts are reached for mxc blocks and this is likely to both mine MXC of any note and DOGE

also note the Gold Tier...the 'highest you can get' w/o an 'invite' to the upper clubs/teir(s) is 3.35 times the coeff of the free tier with no bonding

also if you bond 25k mxc per device you get 2x the gold reward

anyway, looks like PayCoin sketchy as heck..and yeah I have regrets but still run the FB group M2Pro MXC Miners

so...might end up being watching a train wreck

still unclear on rewards

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright suing 16 Bitcoin developers on: February 12, 2023, 08:45:28 PM
It's actually quite old news, he has been busy suing Bitcoin Core developers since 2019 or even earlier than that.

Nobody seems to take his claims seriously anymore though, and that's a great thing.

According to OP's linked article, that claim was originally dismissed, but the court of appeal decided that there will be a trial.
No idea what are the implications of the mentioned 16 devs to just ignore it completely. I don't understand why he filed a claim in a UK court in the first place. As far as I know, not many of the influential devs are UK based.

And what's his endgame? There is zero chance he will get access to any of those addresses. Is he just abusing the legal systems to harass devs (vexatious litigation) in hopes that would somehow pump his BSV coin? I don't get it.

If he can 1) prove in court he is Satoshi with this and 2) then he has the 'proof' to make the Bitcoin Devs make a 'fork' to get all Satoshi's coin 3) Well, BTC as such is 'toast' IMHO at that point. Remember it is a 'Jury' Trial..so if he can 'convince' them of the above it will be 'quite' the sh*tshow then. Sad

I have not gotten my Apollo BTC Full 'loaded' version up yet...but was wondering if there is a timeline on when the scrypt node/type as such, 'full' loaded
version with all the 'bells & whistles' is back in stock? Even if out to 2024...thanks...

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: new ltc/doge scrypt hashblade on: January 08, 2023, 12:52:19 AM
I like the concept of a GPU form factor ASIC miner but, like Phillip said, too good [to be true].
It has to be made with available ASIC chips so the power claims are obviously out of line.

Shame as they use Norway as an honest country with good rules. Since I am 25% Norwegian descent I feel sullied a bit by their pitch on youtube.

Besides the earliest they will release it will be Dec 2023.

If it is real hashrate will rise like mad.
And it will be sabotaged like a mofo by bitmain.

I did put my name on their list to be notified.

But I very likely would not get them.

well thats my problem, thats why im skeptic and think it migth be a scam.

current asic chips arent eficient enough, if they were you would see better and cheaper asics by now.

tech evolution currently is slowing down due to the world problems, covid, lockdowns, that impacted directly the chips manufacturers.

and using norway as a "safe" and trust us slogan isnt enough.

in the next years maybe we will see better chips, more eficient and probably cheaper, but i think we still got a long way to go.

mining nowadays isnt for all specialy btc and algoritms that are heavy, that need more hash power and for that reason use more watts, mining of btc, ltc even kda become too centralized, not what satoshi intended in first place.

hoping for better days, with less huge mining farms, less companies profiting, but im guessing for that to happen it would be need a time machine hahaha.

time will tell if this tech is real or just a very bad gimmick.

If it does what they said they were stupid to launch it this way. They needed 1 investor. They needed to build 10,000 of them and launch it that way.

The tech will get reverse engineered if it is real. This method of launching it makes it more sure that copies will be on the market quickly rather than a 3-6 month window were they are selling a killer machine.

thus another reason not to get involved or hopeful with this tech.

I'd agree...but no $$$ until the proof of concept ASIC USB chip comes out....so we shall see. I can wait for that I guess and the fair launch plan.

here is the talk at the LTC summit last Oct 2022

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=5hMAyqK1ztg

so as always with crypto we shall see....he sure pushed my buttons on how I'd like to launch something like this if it exists! Smiley

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FujiCoin | Japan | Since 2014 | The Best Crypto Currency on: June 24, 2021, 02:47:40 AM
Ok, I now know the value of a Fujicoin.

Last week for 24 hours I threw 100mh worth of hash rate at N=11 Scrypt at the Fujicoin chain. As expected it adjusted difficulty quickly to compensate and the number of miners went from three and around 150mh total before I started to four others and 250mh. Apparently someone saw me mining and brought up some more power to compensate.

So I was mining 25% of the chain. Mined for 24 hours and got about 1,000,000 fujicoins in a wallet.

Now how much are those coins worth? Well, they need to be worth the opportunity cost I could have made to mine some other coin like Litecoin. I would have been able to mine 3 lite cents in 24 hours using the same equipment. Therefore 1,000,000fjc=.03ltc

Or 1 fjc=.03/1,000,000 litecoins.
or 1 fjc=.00000003 LTC

Given that LTC=177.72 usd, the value of 1 fjc is .00000003*177.72 or $.0000053316

Hurray!

Unfortunately that's less than 1 sat per fjc which is probably why it's not trading on exchanges.

Given that as of this morning 1 LTC=.005 btc then 1 fjc=00000000015 btc.

I think your theory is correct in terms of how miners think of the value of fujicoin.
But I don't think the market price can be explained by that. For example, the price of DOGE cannot be explained by that theory.
Atomic DEX currently has buy orders for 21 sat LTC (290,000 FJC) and 6 sat LTC (1.8 million FJC).
If you sell your mined FJC in this market, you will get more profit than when you mined LTC. Try running it.

pe

the elephant in the room is the 80 million or so FJC maybe more since last I looked a couple years ago that are NOT selling on exchanges...thus if there

is no volume it is a dead coin. ie....you try to sell your FJC and can't sell it for 2 years...pretty much a dead coin gimmie

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FujiCoin | Japan | Since 2014 | The Best Crypto Currency on: June 24, 2021, 02:44:00 AM
Motty ... hashrate does not influence market price(unless theres literally 0 hashrate, then the coin is dead until someone starts mining) ... its the other way around. FJC needs folks to be buying/trading it for the hashrate to mean anything =)

even if I could sell my 10 million FJC (not 2years behind the other 80 million coin for sale in the exchange que's) best i can figure I'd get $40 for the works....admiditly better than last year when I was offered $20 or 2 pizza's from lightfoot...

$600 in 6 months among all the exchanges and 2 years behind in all the sell que's even if I was motivated enough to list it?

naw...a coin that only added seg witt and maybe no taproot since 2014..just can't cut it

you just to need to fold this project and use your time on another startup coin

Roll Eyes He may not express it well but he understands bitcoin better than this judge person. It's a new paradigm and the kiwis need to catch up.

Not your keys, not your coin. Not that hard.

this also applies to the USA for custodial wallets I think like exchanges...not your keys when you mine into the pools address or custodial wallet (you don't have seed or keys) thus only pay taxes on when i pull it out of the pool...I used to do this with litecoin pool ...let it build up in the pools wallet then report to the tax man when i yanked it out into an address I control...rather than keep track day by day

just saying

9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 22, 2021, 06:17:12 AM
Hello guys. So unlike others I'm not a trader, although I can use a small part of my stash to buy low and sell high, but with BTC, high one day is low another day. If the stash is in fiat, it's still OK.

This month I decided I had too much fiat and wanted to put 30K€ (36500$) back in, 1000€ (1220$) a day. I started when prices were at 46-48000€ (58500$) so I expected to get about 0.66BTC, and now we're at 30000€ (36500$) so pretty bad timing, but 2 thirds of the way my average buying price is 35000€ so I'm pretty happy with that.

Do you think I should put the last third in ASAP and buy at the current 30K€ (36500$) price, or continue with the plan ?

I'm keeping some bags of cash anyway in case the price goes down to 20K€, 10K€, and if it goes below that, we'll see, I might go all in, or stop buying because something bad would have caused such price.

I usually plug any new cash into three categories:  Lump sum, DCA and buying on dips.  So you have to decide how to apportion the amount that you have.  Sounds like you already have some allocated to buying on dips, so you would have to decide if you want to plug more into that category and the other two categories.

The total of what you do has a lot to do with your particulars and it is NOT only about your views about BTC as compared with other assets, you consider your ongoing cashflow, your other investments, your timeline, your risk tolerance and your time, skills and abilities to tweak along the way.

Of course, opinions are all over the place in regards to whether the bottom is already in or the top is already in and so many other variations, so how you invest can really become a very close impression of yourself and your views and how much you might hedge for a variety of possibilities while still being happy if the price moved against your hedging in one direction or another, so in the end, if you set up your amounts correctly, then you should not really have BIG concerns about if the BTC price goes up or down because you are taking advantage of its movement no matter what.

Basically if I finish my buys at the current price I think I would be happy. But of course if the price crashes again 30% then I might not feel that way. I have already some buy orders for up to a 15% drop from here.

started up some home mining again (matchX m2 pro) about $1 a month at most in electric IoT miner)  just because....you can never have too much 'coin' of whatever mining when the

sh*t hits the fan and the price of BTC/crypto tanks...a bit of delusional/denial, hobby-wise, to get me through all this,  but hey....whatever gets me through this latest dump....and/per usual

on 'price recover' on BTC, when I convert this MXC someday the dust from this hobby miner. Rinse/WashRepeat.

I've mined 'air' before at a loss for a year ..did it and stubborn in 2014 on $1.80 LTC and stubbornly stuck to it. the same frigging' newbie bet/idea Smiley

"a small act of dubious rebellion' and these times require a 'truly/stupid/senseless and futile gesture on someone's part!, eventually will convert this MXC to go to BTC ...eventually....Smiley

Or as I call it 'Fiddling While Rome Burns' for something to do until this whole thing corrects. Smiley

This will be my 3rd 'go around' in this manner of 'home mining' while Rome burns since 2013,

By the by, for you newbies that are 'currently freaked out' Smiley again, Rinse/Wash/Repeat. Smiley

Oh that sucks. Of course, the guy is a pathological liar so I don't beleive him.

Last thing that anyone should want is for Musk or Tesla to own any Bitcoin.

the point of the 1.5 billion in BTC (probably back to 1.5 billion now with his antics) was instead of cash to have a reserve for stuff to help the company...from what i think i read...

rather than cash laying about...so BTC may have fulfilled its purpose by adding say $1 billion USD if he sold it today to the company coffers.....which he can then use to prop

up is Tesla stock by promoting the profit and the dump as being 'evil genius' ...hell then buy it back from his own stash he says he owns...he can do this as long as people

are dumb enough to play this game. The problem with corporate $$$ in bitcoin is 1) sometimes big bucks and 2) they dump for a quick profit on the FUD....hey, no loss

right you showed a profit and got out..good for the bonus...so anyway...I suspect he will now move on to dogecoin and revive the GitHub site with some devs and some $$$

and pull the same stunt with the 'revived' dogecoin and pull the same stunt...what the heck...(Tesla: Where Evil Never Rests) (tm Tesla) Sad
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hacking KNC Titan / Jupiter / Neptune miners back to life. Why not? on: May 12, 2021, 03:01:04 AM

Lightfoot.

I can't believe I'm asking this ...but seeings how everyone has lost their minds and getting 340% merge mining dodge on top of Litecoin on www.litecoinpool.org

I am gonna move more than a few cubes out the door (contact me on here or eventually eBay.....if you believe dogecoin is going to hit $1 and want in on these

titan cubes/units. I may cut you a deal for you  to repaste/clean and otherwise get these up in some manner anyone here still wanting or following this thread.

Or else eBay they go as is/broken and repairable and need work repaste/etc no refunds..I mean they have been sitting in my attic since when 2017?

Sheesh....use the calculator on the above link ..it is frigging shocking and worth running these again..but I think I'm just gonna move them out the door to

someone who has less than 16c kWh Summer rates, etc, etc.

Anyway, the point is I need the following:

1) a link that works to your beagle bone mod (w/o bridge) direct to a knc titan 4 ribbon board? Or in other words, using a KNC Jupiter/Saturn/Mercury to

run some/titan cubes on. As long as I have to remember/learn again how to flash SD chips for KNC/github 2.002 firmware..I may as well take the extra

step and do some with your firmware beagle bone mod as well.

by the by the github for KNC 2.02 still exists here: https://github.com/KnCMiner/titan/releases.

Also, does anyone have the link again from KNC for the  'step by step' process of how to FLASH these SanDisk SD 8gb cards as such?

Anyway, contact me if you want these....just to know they are going spendy on eBay....like $175 cube a ways back w/shipping

use the calculator on litecoinpool above

and this is probably NOT the stuff for 'newbs' if you found this thread...these knc titans are a breed of treacherous wenches....When home mining in the basement

and doing laundry I carefully 'averted' my eyes not to make contact ....as to that alone would piss them off and they would 'brick' themselves.

I've never seen any 'device' so 'eager' to turn itself into a paperweight...so newbies avoid the heartache pay extra for bitmain L3+..more $$$ but less

heartache.

anyway....get me those links I'll let you know my progress on both firmware hacks above

Picture a mouse and an elephant.
Picture how much a particular person contributed to bitcoin success (via promoting mining, teaching people how to do it with detailed know how, reviews, etc, etc.).
Then picture someone whose contributions are mostly endless diatribes about minutia.

Now, let me propose that @philipma1957 is the elephant (for those in the know in the broader community) and @JJG is the mouse.
Then, picture a mouse telling an elephant that it s mad or less mad at it because of some blah blah (whatever).
The funny thing is, irl elephants are afraid of the mice.
They shouldn't be.

Finito la comedia

I like that.

But the really funny thing is elephants simply don’t give a fuck about mice.

I am simply getting old and cranky and annoyed too easily.

I Don’t know if it is being 64 and finally have positioned myself  in a good way when it comes to coiins.

I don’t know if it is that i helped setup hundreds of people to make money mining.

Trading is and will never be my thing. But I came to this thread last year because I thought the time was ripe for the bull to start running.

So I turned out to be correct. So to all I will post here and I will post what I please.

deal with it.

but i do not say buy shit coins.

actually for me is the fact that someday if lucky I will be in a nice nursing home like my parents..were at before they passed...a fine place...but....even if you are on the ball..you can't

since then...nice as it was for my parents (by the by...go to small towns where people actually see their folks and extended family once a week or more is

the way to go..drive far away from any city above like 30,000 to enroll in such is my plan in the future) ....anyway....since then my 'don't give a flying fig' on stuff has gone up about 20x

My plan is to be rich enough to have a private nurse, if needed I'll convert my home to accommodate what ever is necessary for my care.
But in our family, on both sides. not one single person has ever had to go to a nursing home, they were all fit and lived to a high age until they got sick and died pretty quick at hospital.

Naw you misunderstand ..the nursing home was fine... I'd rather be around people but at a certain age the $$$ the stuff and all don't make a with of difference from what I got from the experience....school teacher or banker it was fine.....but...if you are ready for a nursing home..you are pretty much a 'private nurse' or not ...pretty much a 'homebody' in most things.

I myself like the dorms in University...so different strokes...but at that age...private nurse or not your likely kinda a homebody (or have a house that moves like say your own yacht!) Smiley

That $17k drop will drawf what we will see next bear market.

Prepair yourself mentally for a $100k-$200k bleed.

Unless listed on a large exchange, this project will inevitably die.

You need aggressive marketing. But our Motty is not interested in marketing.

No matter how good the food is, if no one buys it, it is just garbage.

currently, you get on an exchange and buy FJC on the 'least' amount that you can buy it at...like what is it 1 satoshi? ....so you buy it..you hold your FJC for

4 months you then go to sell it on a different exchange or same one and it sells for the same amount the least amount of value the exchange

will place on the amount again 1 satoshi?

so you sell it

80 million FJC are ahead of you in all the exchange's que's ..some have been there for more than a couple of years.....so first, someone has to buy all of teh 80 million FJC

ahead of you at ..you guessed it ..the lowest sale price of like 1 satoshi?  you begin to see it is gonna take a long time to sell your FJC and you then will have some tiny fees

taken out when far in the future you sell it....small but still at the 1 satoshi min rate that all the exchanges have for the most extreme sh*tcoins

thus you start out buy and sell at the same price and wait years to do so at a loss even with the small fees ....because 80 million or more FJC ahead of you for sale

and maybe $60 sold every 4 months or so.

this is the problem FJC needs to change it's algo...I'd go to POP (proof of participation) and MXC myself and use the matxhx m2 pro LOWAN router project..it is 15 watts

or about $1 a month at 12c kWh......something like that ..merge with another coin..maybe if you could mine it in that manner hobby-wise again ..but still 80 million

FJC out on exchanges at the lowest price that exchange can charge is quite the boat anchor..even the matchx m2 pro 'dubious' lowan project would maybe at least get it noticed

with an algo change for the very low $1 a month complete electric use...or hell just fork the coin and start no pre-mine...at 12 midnight someday as FJC TWO using this hotspot

IOT (internet of things) device....I mean a 'fair' new algo new coin forked no pre-mine on essentially router use of electric at $1 a month would be at least 'something'

....just saying...that no pre-mine and elec use option is novel enough

yes they exist...check out discord channels

https://www.matchx.io/m2pro/

only POP coin on it now is MXC coin...others are not POP (proof of participation) or at least as pure an algo yet...fork the puppy Smiley
