4461  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Open Frame Rig on: July 06, 2016, 11:02:54 AM
if someone is interested i can sell cheap open frame made of alluminium

this is the idea, but i have a better design to accomodate 3x140mm fan in front of the gpu, and better security for the psu

selling for 0.1 BTC(around 60 euro) plus shipping

if you are interested i can order more alluminium to make you one in a few days(around 3 day for ordering all parts plus 2 for making it or maybe just one it depend)

4462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 06, 2016, 07:16:25 AM
sp-mod private #7 for the 750ti was released 09-jun-2016 (less than one month ago)

Still some juice left to release.

I see some easy pickings in x11evo,sib and lyra2. Could be included in the sp-mod private #8 over the summer...

HE IS ALIVE!!! --

You bring good news, too.  Thanks!, and thanks again for your correction on my configuration file for MinerControl.  It has been corrected on the Zpool forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260863.msg15464974#msg15464974       --scryptr

He is alive but doing private only.
There are already a lot of private developers.
We need someone to keep up the opensource miner.

you are the only one and epsylon3, but he is not interested in pascal it seems

we have also djm34, but dunno if he is active, i see him connected some times
4463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU and Altcoin for Beginner Miner on: July 06, 2016, 06:47:32 AM
if you really want to mine you need to think infinite term not even long term, this with gpu, another coin will emerge one day that will take the ethereum place, maybe zerocash, just wait for the next hype

4464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 05, 2016, 05:08:00 PM

Its not good , only good on ETH .

7.5 on lyra2v2? which is currently the most profitable, that must be a joke, also where is the hashrate on neoscrypt?
4465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So is Bitcoin a SAFE Asset? on: July 05, 2016, 02:03:56 PM
gold is not safe either i remember the ath of gold was 2k per once, and then tanked to 1k, you call this safe? ok it did not happen over night but it happened

bitoin is not safe because it is not big enough, give it enough time to build a good capitalization and you will have a safer asset
4466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now? on: July 05, 2016, 02:01:06 PM
I think its not a good idea to buy bitcoins right now because the price of bitcoin is gradually decreases and there is no possibility that the price will increase before block halving or after block halving

you're talking out of your ass, the price is not decreasing at all let alone "gradually" the price is stuck there at the same rate waiting for the next pump, i see this same pattern over and over again

pump---->correction--->stagnation--->pump---repeat
4467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 05, 2016, 12:57:45 PM
yeah sp is mia, he said he don't want to continue this, you should make your own thread Pallas, from what i understood you are a coder also, or maybe you have one already

No, I don't have a thread for "ccminer", even though I worked on it for more than a year now.
I've submitted some improvements and made some private work.
I may fork sp's ccminer and continue from there BUT:

- the code base is outdated, we should start from latest tpruvot's; but then it would make more sense to submit to his own fork directly (I did that too).
- sp_ said he might eventually post his optimisations on a newer codebase so I didn't want to do a duplicate work.
- applying all sp_'s optimisations to tpruvot's is no easy nor quick task; it might take months.
- some of the optimisations are on dead or almost dead algos; it might be better to restart from scratch... don't know.

last time i checked some tpruvot algo were not running at the same optimized hash of sp last version(not talking about private) like qubit and akin

i think it's better to fork from sp(so you get all the boost already), but if he will do it later at some point, then maybe we can just wait, but not sure his last message leave much to be desired...

4469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to make a list of the rx 480's hash rate power and settings etc. on: July 05, 2016, 11:33:59 AM
i remember in another thread, there were people saying that a 390 can do 27MH/180w, it was bullshit from what you are saying phil
4470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1 on: July 05, 2016, 09:56:24 AM
so are the new pascal working good on win 7? or it will be done with 1.1.8 release?
4471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 Specs leaked, release in 1 week? on: July 05, 2016, 08:04:10 AM
90w for 20MH is good, now i'm doing 140w for 20MH with a 970, 33% less consumption and same hash

but on the other algo it has still all the problem of the 1070, so waiting fix for neoscrypt  and eth on win 7...
4472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 05, 2016, 07:22:47 AM
i believe that at this point many newbie are jumping the thereum train without even knowing that it is not as profitable as before, but because they see retarded video on youtube, and stupid claim telling them that there is still huge profit

ethereum is actually profitable only because of bitcoin that reached a good value otherwise it was already dead
4473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be sure, this will drop hard soon... and here is why... on: July 05, 2016, 06:48:15 AM
Many reason why the price of bitcoin is decrease not only the bull market and i think thats why the price of bitcoins right now its because of cloud mining sites many cloud mining are crash and scam and i think they will sell it gradually so 700 value for now is impossible to happen right now.. or even before block halving..

its not decrease it's always there it's consolidating, there was no dump, just a fast rise with a peak then a correction,m a dump is another thing
4474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 05, 2016, 06:41:09 AM
I guess its good if you are in Europe and pay high electricity rates but its only 33% more efficient then the highly inefficient 7970/280X cards.

And with the high cost, doesn't seem like its worth the upgrade. I was expecting 30MH/s and using 100 Watts. Maybe it will be possible with a bios hack or with the 470/1060

But this is like having an Antminer S2 and upgrading to an Antminer S3, not really that much efficient.

only the 1070 can do 30MH 100w(110w probably) for now, but it's still to damn expensive on europe
4475  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: July 05, 2016, 05:46:19 AM
it's not almost, it's two weeks already still no reset, the reward should be 0.08+0.06 with the new rate
4476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is unstable. It will crash around halving day. on: July 04, 2016, 10:29:43 AM
no i'm not believing in any crash and in any rise at the moment, notice hwo the market is playing in the same range all the time, that is called consolidation

the price is consolidating at current level, the recent crash from the peak to the present value was just a correction, not a real dump

there will not be any dump with the halving, i'm expecting another rise after the halving, but not the day after the halving, but within 2-3 months after it, so later this year
4477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PRO Motherboard issues on: July 04, 2016, 07:51:16 AM
return them back, if they are all the same setup but just two of them are with this problem then it's clear that the problem lie in those two MB
4478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: July 04, 2016, 07:17:12 AM
I should have found ~3.5 blocks since upgrading to 1.0 but I haven't find anything. I'm not sure if solomining works anymore (or KlausT's miner) or I'm just that awfully unlucky with this coin.

Though ever since I started mining this coin, I'vee been really unlucky and found maybe half as many blocks as I should have on paper.

the hashrate is somehow 33% higher, how can you mine with the 1.0 version, it does not work for me with that fork
4479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: July 03, 2016, 05:45:53 PM

someone don't want that other know that this is the most profitable? or just a bug

What is the profitable? 8 G\h, within 30 days did not match any block!

that's bad luck, you must understand that 8 giga only give you 0.02 on other algo per day, x 30 is 0.6, current block reward give you 0.28 btc with sia

you are probably on a bad variance, i would mine this only with 100GH

What happened to explore.sia.tech?
