4481  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: February 10, 2014, 11:31:44 AM
Clearly, it's time to leave Bitfinex and use MT4 with BTCe. Clearly this is the only course of action.

btc-e crashed also to 100$....

The 2nd part of BCNext's plan - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=458036.0
Advocating paragraph: "Transparency extended to absolute leads to inability to cheat thus removing necessity to think if someone should trust another one.", I think you should add the option to cancel a transaction, "even at the cost of losing the fee!"

If an option is implemented where transactions can be reversed, I myself and about 90% of all investors/enthusiasts would leave the ship.

This might be the most retarded idea of the century. Props

No idea is retarded....maybe he see's something we don't...lets give him time to explain.

Right. I don't see why this idea is good, but maybe he has an explanation.

He will say:

Because we can reverse stolen funds transfers.

But:

Actually we couldn't even do that. If the acccount is compromised, even if you cancel the trasfer the funds would be lost, because you would never be able to spend them (because the attacker can just cancel your transfer)

If he wants to counter scam in P2P trading, then yes maybe, but it will lead to even more scam...

The only upside would be that if you misstype the reciving address you can do some good.

But obviously the cons outdo the pros and the wrong address issue should be solved with checksums clientside..

BCNext doesn't propose to change 1B limit, he is even against it coz this would break forging. His idea is similar to issuance of eDollars on Asset Exchange.

Oh - I thought the purpose of the Asset Exchange was always going to be for such things. At the end of the day I think that the AE just brings the Nxt functionality closer to Ripple (which may or may not be a good thing).

NXTs r not coins, at least the creator of Nxt didn't want them to be coins.

I have a problem to understand where the difference is now

- CfB always said there should be coins on top of Nxt
- Now BCNext says there should be coins on top of Nxt and this should be the sole purpose of Nxt. Wrong?
- Since you need NXT for this coins, NXT will automatically gets evaluated (high) and BCNext idea of using NXT as coins cannot become real because NXT will get traded like gold coins, e.g. eDollars backed by NXT, dollars (long time ago) backed by gold. Wrong?

@the last part:

He want's coins backed by gold/silver. Not backed by NXT. How would that even work, a coin backed by NXT is basically NXT in itself^^
4486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is trying to break me.. on: February 10, 2014, 10:21:18 AM
So basically what happend today was. That i tried to withdraw again, and now suddenly it works? But yesterday i wasn't possible?

Well, anyone can be the judge if arbritrarilly random actions are really good if you are an exchange...

@TwinWinNerD

Wow I would never have believed it without proof!

Cryptsy is trying to break you.

4488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is trying to break me.. on: February 09, 2014, 05:28:52 PM
I bought a bunch of WDC on cryptsy.

Now i want to withdraw them. I enter the withdrawal for my whole balance. I get an email saying i should confirm the withdrawal of my whole balance. But then! After i click that link, about 5 minutes later, they just remove 75% of that withdrawal sum, and only process 25% of it.

Is this some kind of sick joke???

With this taktic, i will NEVER be able to withdraw all my coins...

There are going for the long con and break me???

God, we really need good regulated and reliable exchanges..

Did you contact Cryptsy support before you start posting on the interwebs forums?

Yes, but that doesn't even matter. How can they have such a major bug? I bought those WDC because i needed them, and now i can't access them when I want?

I can rant as much as i want, if exchanges behave like 12 year olds, that write their first small computer program. Ridiculous
4489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is trying to break me.. on: February 09, 2014, 05:16:00 PM
Hahahaha, now when i enter a withdrawal request, it goes like this:

WIthdraw 4000 WDC.
Email comfirmation saying "4000WDC"
Then after 5 minutes --> pending 1000 WDC

and now the novum: they apply the the 0.25 again.

After ten minutes of pending -->  250 WDC....

Motherf****ng co******ers.... They dont even respond to tickets anymore..

If you so hate bitcoin and wish to go down what are you doing here? Go and leave btc world behind and let us alone with your fud.

I'm just realistic and this is true
Listen, that is your opinion and it does not mean a truth. You went to far with your fud, its different to post once your concerns or opinions but starting zilion thead and post with all the same fud is out of line.
I think you are from Russia and now barking on the wrong tree!

Remember, Russia = True
You just prove my point. Let me ask you a question and please be honest: would you have the same opinion of btc going to end if you were not a retarded troll?

I've seen a couple of forging pools throughout this thread and noticed a possibitly of forging only by giving "forging rights" without giving the NXTs.

Has anyone one of you tried this and which pool did you use?

I am pretty sure that possibility was only discussed, it is not possible yet

iNxt new version online:

-You can forge using an online wallet(use it at your own risk)

Nice, will give it a try.
Does it mean your app opens my account on "some" site and that site "forges" for me?
Or the blocks are created on my phone?

It sends the passphrase to a NRS and your account is forging there.
4496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 09, 2014, 11:45:54 AM

"the system needs to be in static state" to fix the technical problems they are having... So why income transfers are still working? Aren't deposits on the same system as withdrawals?

their problem is, that when withdrawing their system assigns one input to multiple outputs, thus doublespending. If they receive incoming transfers, that problem does obviously not occur.

and you could prove us wrong by depositing some btc and see if there is indeed no double spending issue  Grin

You don't understand me obviously.

I said deposits of BTC INTO Gox do not cause problems FOR MTGOX.

I did not say you should deposit some, or did i?

in my context, you = Rampion.., not really you, coz i concur your points

aight, then i have to apologize Wink
