It has been a while since I posted any analysis on the forum, probably a good time now. Today's drop was tragic and probably took many people by surprise, I personally did not see that coming, but I always like to plan ahead of time and be prepared for all possible scenarios.  The chart above contains the two most important moving averages on the weekly chart of btc/usd, the 20 and the 200 moving averages, clear as day when price closes below the 20MA (blue) we enter a down a trend and quite often head to the 200 MA ( purple ), currently the weekly 200 MA is at $5524, by no means bitcoin should close below that, because if it does then IMO it will very likely print a lower-low below $3000. Selling now at these prices is a dumb move because chances are the 200MA will hold as it always did for 6 years now, but bouncing back of the 200MA which is very likely is not a clear sign of a bull market unless a weekly candle closes above the 20MA we are still bearish. I highly doubt any considerable rebound prior to the halving, maybe going back to the 7.5 - 8k range and that's it, the reason I think so is not the coronavirus but rather the market rules and structure, it's normal for the majority of people to lose money, bitcoin is no difference, now everybody is expecting to get rich because the price is supposedly going to the moon right after the halving but that IMO will not happen this time. You might argue that it happened every other previous halving, that's true and there is no denial in that, but you and almost everyone else did not see that coming, back in 2016 there were probably only a handful of people thinking that the halving was going to cause price increase, while the majority thought bitcoin was going to die, nobody expected the 20k and so it happened, now everyone is expecting it, it simply not going to happen because no market will allow the average Joe to make money this easily. I hope I have not created any more fud/panic, it's to my best interest that BTC price goes to $100,000 next week, but after being wrong so many times, i have to live with the fact that I am not special, I don't control the market and I have to always be ready for the worse. TL;DR -a Weekly close above 200SMA with a long wick(very good news) > a correction to the upside is most likely. -a weekly close above 200SMA with no wick(Good news) > sideways market before a major correction or another potential dip. -a Weekly close below 200SMA (Terrible News) > Most likely heading towards 3k again. The scenario that has the highest probability of happening IMO would be the second one, we are likely to close the week above the 200SMA, go into a sideway action for a few weeks. I would love to hear other trader's opinions, permabulls and permabears are not welcome.  |

However, in times like this, it makes no sense to look at the difficulty, it's wiser to keep an eye on the hashrate itself since it responds faster than the difficulty estimator.  https://www.blockchain.com/en/charts/hash-rate?timespan=30daysThe total hash rate dipped from 119 yesterday to 98 now, that is nearly a -17% drop, which of course does not have a ratio of 1:1 in respect to price, but in reality, a 17% drop (if it doesn't change) will bring us to at least 15% drop in difficulty and not just -5% as estimated, so assuming price lost 30% and difficulty will only go down by 15%, we talking about 2:1 ratio or 15% loss in fiat profit in the coming epoch, although I highly doubt that price is going to stop declining, maybe a little bit of correction and then we dip again, I hope I am wrong about this one. |

الطرق سهله ولكن المكان الخالي خاصه بالمنزل لا يوجد بسبب صوته المرتفع
لايمكن بأي حال من الاحوال القضاء على صوت اجهزة ASIC, بعض الطرق يمكن اتباعها لتخفيف الصوت الى حد معقول ولكن لايمكن تطبيقها بدون التأثير على تبريد الجهاز الا في الاماكن شديدة البرودة وانا لا اعتقد انه يوجد اي دولة عربية لديها مناخ مناسب لعزل الصوت, ربما ينجح الامر مع جهاز واحد او اتنين على اقصى تقدير ولكن ان حاولت تطوير مشروعك في المستقبل فلن تتمكن من ذلك وخيارك الوحيد مكان بعيد عن السكان نسبيا او الاكتفاء بي كروت الشاشة. |

Damn! after LTC halving as well as the massive price decline, THIS is like the last nail in the coffin for L3/L3++, but this is nothing out of the ordinary since it has been forever since the latest Scrypt miners have been improved and they still have a lot of room to grow, however, 50 miners MOQ is a lot, I am not sure how the sales will go for large quantities like that given the lead time is nearly 6 months which IMO is way too long. I like the idea of being able to use the old S9 and L3+ miners to hold these hash boards. If you have Antminer S9 or Antminer L3+ casings / chassis and fans, you can just slide these new Scrypt boards and controllers into your used miners. |

على الاغلب ان نفس التعريف سيفي بالغرض نظرا لان rx570 و rx580 يمتلكون نفس ال chipset تقريبا, لذلك قبل ان تحاول تحديث التعريف, يمكنك ببساطة توصيل الكروت الجديدة 580 ان كان موجودة في drivers ولا تحتاج لا update فلا داعي للتحديث.
حسب مافهمت ان مجموع الكروت الان 6, وربما يسبب لك هدا بعض المشاكل, اتذكر ان التعريفات القديمة لا تدعم 6 كروت وان لم اكن مخطاء فتعريف Aderline الاخير يحل هده المشكلة لذلك قم بتحميله ان واجهتك مشكلة, اما ان اشتغل كل شي تمام على تعريف blockchain فأبقي كل شي على ماهو.

As much as I hate to say it but these 7700-7800 levels will shake out a lot of miners.
I hate to see people lose money especially the newbies who probably invested all of their hard-earned money thinking mining is an easy way of making money, but they have to learn the hard way sadly. It seems BTC is under price pressure bigly.
Everything except gold is, and BTC is no exception, the current nature of bitcoin does not make it a safe haven and most investors think of it as a high risk asset, and in situations like that one we have now, people will tend to sell it rather than buy it, I will not be surprised if bitcoin hits 3k again this year, and as I much as I hate to see that happen, I am well prepared for a similar scenario and I think everyone should be. I wonder if bitmain will use s19 pro's in-house and clear out all their in house s17 and s17 pro gear.
My guess is that they will try to sell as many miners as they can, they will probably have to sell their BTC holdings in order to survive potentially severe market conditions. |

I would like to see a reference to this claim, as far as I know, Matrixport was founded by Jihan Wu. Jihan Wu is not Bitmain, it just so happened that the former is the CEO of the latter, I also know that Bitmain as a company might have some shares in Matrixport, but that does not make Matrixport Bitmain's exchange. With that being said, I wouldn't touch an exchange that has anything to do with Bitmain or any of their current, former or future CEO with a barge pole. |

There is no free Awoesomeminer firmware, they have a fee between 2-3%, one consumes a license and other one doesn't, and up to this point in time they don't have any firmware for S15 and T15, neither does Asic.to, the only two firmware distributors that I would trust, I am sure there are some unknown firmware versions out there, but most of them are nothing but scams.
I think your best shot would be getting lower RPM fans as phill suggested or/and wait for that firmware to be ready, supposedly in a few weeks as mentioned on their website.

تماماً هذا مقصدي انه لا يمكن الاعتماد على المعطيات لأنه من الممكن جداً ان يتلاعب بها او/و تكون مغلوطة .. ليس مقصدي على العلم بحد ذاته بل على الاشياء المفترضة و حدود ذلك العلم و ان رجعنا بالزمن قليلاً او كثيراً لا فرق سنجد الكثير و الكثير من الأشياء التي كانت مجرد خيال لبعض الأشخاص .. فالجزم بإستحالة هذا الشيء ليس بالأمر الدقيق
