Heard today that some wall street guy did something to this statue of this girl standing infront of the bull in NY.
Anybody know what he did? And was it water cooler worthy?
if you are asking, obviously you already know, so why are you asking?

Let me see:

1. An Aspirine a day keeps the doctor away.
2. In a fireplace you make content for cheap DVDs you can give away to a person you do not like.
3. Assuming each pack contains six beers, I assume a six pack contains 36.

DID I WIN? Tongue

captain obvious got a chuckle... sending 3003.141592  tek on stake day   (if you post an addy, obviously)

Well then... Greetings fellow tekees and all good people... and you too, Dreddful Judge Judy or wtf yer name is...
Yes, its that time of month again! (no not THAT time of month... my wife is currently being very nice to me, tho i did
give her a bonus last week due to a crypto windfall,  but i digress....)

ANYWAY...
oh my! how time flies when one is staking and baking! (well when you get to be an old fart like me it does anyway)

yes tek land folks ain't it obvious? its time for.....wait for it....

its obviously....... CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!  ( pa da boom PSHHHH)

OK so here's the deal... due to teks massive 50% increase in value to a whopping 2 sat, ( and a notorious short lived pump
to ..oh idk, 5 sat or some such thing? )
it is with great regret that prizes have been reduced accordingly... but no worries folks!!
question difficulty has appropriately been reduced as I know in the past Captain Obvious has made
questions somewhat less than obvious which has unfairly stumped our sporting  participants.
After all, they do deserve the most obvious questions for their most enthusiastic support eh?

so without further ado, lets cut to the chase and do this shall we?  OBVIOUSLY!! YEEEEE HAAAAA!!
(sorry i obviously got all excited and stuff)

1. For a cool 1000 TEK, what is the main ingredient in apple pie ? (ok i know that's hard but here's a hint ..

An ______ a day keeps the doctor away.. Now, I will allow 1 google search, but ONLY one, no cheating!!)

2.What do you make in a fireplace? (its not a trick question.... or is it? lol)
that's worth another 1000 tek, yeah baby!!!

and finally and obviously... (for 1000 tek... plus another 3.1415927  because i like pi )

3.How many beers are in a 6 pack?  (watch out here, you may need a calculator!)

Ok so there ya go folks, may your answers in life always be obvious and good luck to all! (obviously)

1. The main ingredient is pie ofcourse!
2. Love
3. as many as you can fit

I think I scored a home run here!

whadda ya think?

home run? are you kidding? !!
Captain Obvious says those answers better than the obvious ones!

GRAND SLAM my friend!!  sending 3003.141592  tek on stake day

just a shout out from a lowly spread miner.
your post history on the spread thread piqued my interest even tho i never mentioned
your service nodes concept, probably because it was way beyond my thinking.(and still is, but i'm workin on it)
I suppose I was more interested in mining spread and calling out isis assholes polluting the thread.
anyway good luck with this project my friend.
I'm watching with keen interest.
4492  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: March 09, 2017, 02:56:35 AM
well looky here folks!
cryptsy just made the A list on class action  law suits!

https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/497311-cryptsy-cryptocurrency-class-action-settlement/

reason why i noticed is this website has made me over $500 and counting
(all converted to bitcoin of course) just by filing a claim on any of em that don't
require proof of purchase and bingo! check in the mail a few months later
after you've forgot about it. yeah of course the lawyers clean up but hey,
why not get in on the action even if it is chump change. takes all of 2 minutes to file.
i just got a $105 check in mail  outta the blue yesterday.... sweeeeeet!!.
(phone spamming suit)

4493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: March 09, 2017, 02:16:10 AM
ditto that !  (see my previous post)

I mined spread for all of 2016 pretty much 24/7 with 2 lowly 750 ti's.

I have an even lower 750  Grin

Quote from: sirazimuth
My average was around 4 or 5 blocks per day per card.

You must've lucky... I only got 3 blocks per day with 3 cards @ 10mh/s

wasn't lucky. i hit the expected # of blocks for my hashrate. Last year net hashrate was much lower (as i mentioned in post) and hence difficulty was too.
difficulty determines how many blocks you can expect to hit in a given time period for a given hashrate.
and last year difficulty was less than half what it is now. It all maths out.

are you sure you got your decimal place right?   i get 2 to 3 blocks with 1.4 mh!!  (woo hoo!! ding!! just hit one while writing this post,  karma!!)
10 mh should get you  around 14 blocks a day (at 1000mh net hashrate)
4494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: March 09, 2017, 01:46:52 AM
you better mine to a pool, the solo mining seems instable

Solo mining works just great. (fify)

ditto that !  (see my previous post)
4495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2017, 01:03:17 AM
My asshole hasn't taken a pounding this hard since the mid 1990's.

well then , maybe you're in the wrong thread...
4496  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2017, 12:57:19 AM
Do we know each other? How did you know I have a mustache? Satoshi is that you?!

Doesn't everyone here have one? Satoshi PM'd me from the dead when I first signed up and told me to provide a picture of my facial furniture or sod off. He approved of my Fu Manchu and gave me 100,000 BTC to look after it.

lol..love your posts mate.. always give me a chuckle !
Fu Manchu even sounds funny. never mind the absurdity of actually having one,
but maybe worth it for 100,000btc  Cheesy

So just a little fun fact now that the price has recovered and thus i'm back pointing to spread again.
(hey gotta go where the profits take me doncha know and equihash was paying better on nh) due to some AWESOME
wallet development from georgem. (and coins project, but that's another thread now) My thanks to you both.
I mined spread for all of 2016 pretty much 24/7 with 2 lowly 750 ti's.
As I recall in that time span the net hashrate fluctuated around 300mh to 600mh.. currently 1.37gh so basicly difficulty has doubled.
the price ranged from 5k to 10k sat in that same time span... currently it's around 5k (up from 1.5k)  so basicly the price has halved.
(actually in fiat value  its pretty much the same due to btc mooning)
and 1 less coin per block reward from when I started a year ago.
My best day in that year was  13 blocks in a 24 hour period on one card.
My average was around 4 or 5 blocks per day per card.
So looking back on that year and considering the current price of btc I guess it did ok
....well for penny jar mining anyway(as I like to refer my 2 "rigs" as).

I have to say that solo mining spread is way more fun than Nicehash. just love it when the ole bell rings outta nowhere
and that block is ALL YOURS!!!
....4.42 coins times .00005btc times $1250=   27 cents!! woo hoo!! Cheesy

LOL...gotta love the crypto addiction in my old age (its way better than the one I kicked 10 years ago Wink Grin)........... GO SPREADCOIN!!!
