It's not according to coinmarketcap, which shows bitFlyer's BTC/JPY market as the fourth biggest Bitcoin market. If you disregard poloniex's DASH/BTC and ETH/BTC msarkets it's in second place for volume.

https://bitflyer.jp/en/commission

Zero fees.

If I hosted a zero fee exchange in my grandmother's pussy, it does not mean the population of my grandmother's pussy has adopted Bitcoin en masse.

It's exactly the same but even more blatant than China. Once fees are in place it'll go down to a piffling trickle. No one uses it in Japan.

Look at you.

Denigrating grannie, just to make a point about fees and bitcoin.

Couldn't you come up with a little better example to make your point?

 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

He's been denigrating granny for years without bothering using it to make a point.

I just shit on the kitchen table and let grandma clear it up when she comes to visit.

Hahahahahaha...

At least now, he is kind of attempting to make a point.   Cheesy

Oh wow, I never thought about how many pages of this thread I must have read. I just know that I've been doing my best to get caught up almost every day since early 2013. Sometimes there was just too much going on, but for the most part I would spend 4-6 hours a day minimum on bitcoin in general, and this was a BIG part of that especially during 2013-2015.

Speaking of old times, I miss Aminorex and his monkey, and Adam giving beer tips. Hope they're doin ok. Monkey would probably be bullish as hell right now  Smiley

Oh and what ever happened to that guy with a "castle" and the cigars ?  Huh retpeelia or something  Cheesy

Also, does anyone else get the feeling $1250+ may happen today? lol

He is still here... that's him! You can find him in a few hours starting spam-posting about your "beer tips"! Cheesy Cheesy

Really? He doesn't feel like Adam to me.. How can you be so sure?

Those of us who frequent this thread have already confirmed that the potleaf is the same loveable goofball, who has quasi-unwillingly separated from his previous existence as a penquin.

delusional bulls are done chasing their magical unicorn.
time for reality to set in, NO ETF == billions are not going to pour into bitcoin, NO ETF == No reason to hodl.

Uptrend we're going to see until the end of the year will be nothing you've seen yet. Everyone that is selling now is just a fool.

The ETF rejection was a good thing and I think thats why the price is rising. I was worried that coins would be eaten up by hedge funds and price heavily manipulated up and down on a wildly insane level due to mass manipulation by the largest player in the Bitcoin sector.

Yes ETF rejection was a good thing because it left many people salivating at the mouth to buy Bitcoins!

Fiat baghodlers piling up on the sidelines ... looks like ETF 'announcement' date and dip anticipation was actually holding the price back.

Now we got greedy shorts (probably SEC insiders) who piled on at $1350 manipulated high starting to sweat too ... should be fun watching that particular gas oven blow-up. Plenty of fuel to keep this thing burning.

It was a good thing despite the rejection because of the publicity it gave Bitcoin. How any newbies started taking an interest for the first time after hearing about the ETF? The Silk Road shut down's the last thing that gave Bitcoin so much publicity, and that preceded a massive pump.

wut? if an etf had happened billions would've poured into bitcoins that are locked away in a market of their own. it's possible the winklvoss twins would be able to turn over tens of billions of dollars and never need to touch the open bitcoin market ever again.

and maybe those billions will arrive on the open market a in few years when alot of the current crap is ironed out.

I think a factor in the high price is that people who thought it would be safer to wait until an ETF was available to get in because of institutional protection, their lack of tech knowledge, whatever, have realised they don't get that luxury and have starting buying directly. This is a bit of a silk road v2 situation IMO, everyone thought the value was due to X and then X vanishes and it retains the value = collect jaw drop and then FOMO.

Yup. Hardware wallets are selling out fast.

Why use an ETF when you can hodl your bitcoins at home on a Trezor? (If you can find one to buy).

this is very true. i bought a ledger nano s the other day and it took quite some finding. amazon sold out and couldn't tell me when they were getting more in.
