BitCrate seems to be back, although it is currently empty.

CoinAd seems to be not working today. When one hits the 'send' button the 'in progress' graphic just keeps spinning and spinning...

Canada will be added within weeks, and other countries will follow...

It's been quite a while... any update on anything for Canada?

Heh, Im actually sitting with them right now in San Francisco!

We're at the last steps here, just need to open up a bank account but integration is done.

Them?

Okay, thanks for the update.

The post data is currently in raw Text.

So paragraph breaks will show up in the displayed post even though they don't show
up in the preview?
Yes.

URL's will be auto-parsed come to the near future.

Thanks, will give it a try later when I get the time.

TweetForum 2.0 BETA is now ready to begin testing!

TF is essentially a content revenue sharing engine that connects twitter to an innovative instant rewards system powered by Bitcoin.

Posts earn Bitcoins by the amount of retweets they receive. A daily retweet rate is set on all posts, and users earn this rate automatically on their onsite wallet.

TweetForum onsite wallets can be used to send payments inside the TweetForum community (fee-free) and any Bitcoin accepting website.

The steps to earn Bitcoins with tweetforum are as follows.

1) If you have a Twitter account simply login, if you don't you'll have to make one.
2) Make a post...

Is the "Upload a file" button for uploading an image to be used with the post? Does one always
need to include an image?

Does one paste html formatted text into the "Story Message" box, or how does one format ones post?
I tried wihout html but all the paragraph breaks etc. were lost and when I tried html the preview on
the right showed all the tags and no formatting.

Thanks

here's another one   bitvisitor.com   Wink

Is visiting websites optional? Will you still give *free* bitcoins?

Unfortunately I have to cancel next drawings because I don’t have enough spare funds to continue these lotteries. I will inform you when the next drawing is active again.

Who received any payouts from btcfree.net?

I've confirmed that it pays out, otherwise I wouldn't have added it to the list of free Bitcoin sites.

Got it, added to our "get bitcoins" page too

You may want to differentiate between "free" bitcoin sites and those which "pay" you for
doing tasks.

E.g. Coinworker is definitely 'not' a free bitcoin site. You have to spend a lot of time doing
menial work to make very small amounts of bitcoin.

Just a suggestion which may help keep your visitors from getting annoyed at being misled.

Change Log:
- Added 'Top Donations'

requested coin a few hrs ago ,and no recieve
your site must be run out of BTC already Smiley

As of this moment it displays:
Available: 0.50679245 BTC

You may have to wait a few hours or so, like most sites like this which give out small amounts.
They wait to send out many at a time to save on transaction fees.

FREE is never really means free.

TANSTAAFL

But if one doesn't have to jump through too many hoops like filling out surveys, surfing pages,
and doing other time consuming and annoying tasks, or giving away their personal information,
etc., then one might consider the coins received as being 'reasonably' free. And those are
the types of sites I try to list.

This is from the original post:

There are some sites where one can get free bitcoins. The catch, if you want to call it that, is
that you might be exposed to advertising. Or it might be incentive to spend more time at their site,
to gamble with or do something else there which will be to their benefit in some way. Or it might be
a way to give newbies a start with getting and using Bitcoins, which, it is hoped, will benefit
Bitcoin as a whole. As long as anything like spending more time at their site, or doing something
else, is optional then I will consider the coins given out there as "free."

There is more discussion on this topic at that thread.

I added your site to the free bitcoins thread in case you didn't notice luaKT.

And btw the title of your site links to http://btcfree.net/index.html instead of http://btcfree.net/index.php and so gives a 404 error if one tries to use it.
4497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free bitcoins! on: July 19, 2012, 08:29:35 PM
FishDawg, the problem is that you are already pushing the limit of your customers patients, offering a bitpenny or two for 10-20 minutes of filling out some survey or installing (and subsequent spyware cleanup) of silly games.  If you add to that the time to gather proof of complience and emailing support, then it becomes too much for most people.

And if one has to go through all that how can they be called free bitcoins?

No, it doesn't. Paper comes from trees, you use paper to print money... ergo, money comes from trees.  Grin
Fail, "paper" money is actually made from cotton and linen.
Really? Ours is made from vegetables Tongue

Not just the 100s but the new 50s as well.

Fantastic technology.

That's not a bug but a feature.  Encourages people to spend them in the Great White North rather
than taking them to hotter climes down South.  Of course it is best to store them in ones igloo
rather than on the dashboard of ones car on a sunny day in summer.    Grin
4499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyway to fix a radeon 5870 ? on: July 18, 2012, 07:36:15 PM
Perhaps the default settings in the miners should have a lower temperature to run the hardware safely. ( 75 sounds like the recommended temp )

Then only allow the overclockers to run it hotter.

You can overclock a 5870 and still keep it at 75 or lower.  I use MSI Afterburner
