4481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY IS SATOSHI NAKAMOTO NOT HERE TALKING on: May 04, 2020, 04:49:42 AM
HOW CAN YOU BUY AND SELL THINGS?  YOU WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR PRICES IN YOUR STORE EVERY DAY...!!
It would be easier if you are just basing it on Bitcoins price and not having a fixed BTC price for an item.

For example, if you were selling the laptop for $500 USD at this time, the price of BTC is around $8700ish~, it would be 0.0576~ Once you receive the BTC, convert it immediately to fiat. If that's what you are worried about. If the price of BTC is $4000 it would be 0.125. It's still $500 but you have more BTC with it.

I think that's what's great with the volatility, it's somewhat going to be a gamble. If you support BTC, support it, if not, don't be a crybabygangsta Cheesy.
4482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in time of halving - a brief review. on: May 03, 2020, 03:26:56 PM
Since the halving is fast approaching, I think most of the things that surround Bitcoin is the topic Halving. For sure, there are a lot of articles already for newbies to read but it's not wrong to clarify things, especially in Bitcointalk.

As we know the situation with cryptocurrency, the fast-moving market makes it hard for people to see the importance of having it at a discount because it's not going to get any better than that. It's always going to be hesitation at the current market but future regret for not buying it, and it's sad. For us, it's easy to invest some of the hard-earned money that we make since we support it, but for new-comers, it's going to be quite hard.

The current happenings around us would certainly heal,. Still, right now, no one can predict when it's going to be finished, the pandemic situation, just like the prediction of what the price would be on investment, in this case, Bitcoin, after the halving.

BTC is not going to disappear, that's for sure.
4483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Golden Cross scan? on: May 03, 2020, 02:45:29 PM
How many alerts should you have? I think using TradingView is enough. How about using TradingView alerts and automatically trading them? Gunbot can use those alerts and automatically trade it for you. Just a plug here because I think you might get it useful with the automatic trading that you could do with it. Let me know.

Thank you for your answer. I'm not interested in buying a bot though. I have a lot of currencies that I scan everyday, my plan doesn't cover over 30 alerts and the next one is too expansive.

It would just save me tons of time for my scanning.

No worries, I understand what you mean. Anyways, if you scan it every day, I think having the bot would be beneficial for you. It would save you a lot of time as well. You can use Gunbot to scan all the coins that you are running and check if it satisfies the conditions that you have set. 50 and 200 MA's can be set for conditions as well.
4484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins are 👎👎👎 on: May 03, 2020, 02:42:39 PM
I was never hoping for any kind of new coin that can beat Bitcoin because it's never gonna happen, IMO. Just like you say, why would you want new coins for it? It's the developers that are going to benefit from the coins that they are going to make especially if it's for IEO or ICO, right? Then it would become a dead coin.

I'm just not sure if it would be beneficial to know any more altcoins at all, especially at this age.
4485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins from ATH - list/overview on: May 03, 2020, 01:56:31 PM
With the list that you provided, there are some that I tried to acquire like LINK, GOLEM, ONT, OMG, FCT, and GRIN. I'm quite familiar with some of them as well but I haven't bought some. I only bought that because of the hopes of profiting from it and looking at the ATH, I didn't manage to HODL it long enough to sell it there.

DIVI seems to be one of the leading ones and checking the ATH it's also close to the current one. Maybe it's time to get some of that? Are you holding coins yourself, OP?
4486  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another critical analysis on: May 03, 2020, 10:53:23 AM
I did have a lot of considerations with what the next move of Bitcoin could be, and this analysis is an excellent showcase of fundamentals that some traders forget. I remember when I just started trading, and the basic stuff is always about HH, HL, LH, and LL. It's still with that, and this seems to be spot on.

Another analysis that I admire is the one about the halving. Every after halving, the price rises, and I think that could be another consideration. Who knows what the next price would be, as long as we make the right positions, right?
4487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $8000 on: May 03, 2020, 06:23:16 AM
Not every single person who sold when the price was low either needed money or not supportive of bitcoin. First of all if that person was not really supportive of bitcoin, why did they actually bought it to begin with, they must have actually thought bitcoin is cool before they invested in it I think.
It's because they want to profit? They bought it and sell it at a higher price. Whether or not it's trading futures, spot, margin, etc. It's for-profit for sure. Not fully supporting it IMO.

Plus people who needed the money and sold can't be the cause of a huge drop in price all of a sudden, how could that many people need money all at the same time inside one hour, that doesn't look viable at all.
Weren't you aware of what's happening today? The situation looked worse when the pandemic is just starting. At least now the price came back to reasonable levels and continues to rise. Halving could have two effects, whether to raise the price or not. History shows it rises in price after halving.

4489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Charts you have to see before Halving on: May 03, 2020, 02:20:05 AM
One of the main reasons that the situation is different from now and then is the current situation that we have now. People are searching for understanding what halving is and why it is correlated to the possible increase in price.

It's always going to be the hope for everyone us here today to have it at a higher price, right?

The logarithmic rainbow chart is interesting. The maximum bubble territory and the fire sale are the regions that we want Cheesy
4490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: May 02, 2020, 02:25:25 PM
I know this has been discussed, and I think will be continued to be discussed over and over again. It varies with different people, especially what the family is like. It's going to be easy if the family you are going to leave it to is tech-savvy. If not, you are going to have a hard time explaining it.

Leave it this way, prepare the last dying will video for your family to see or whoever you want to leave that inheritance to. Make a written instruction as well as video instructions on what to do. I think if you have a hardware wallet, just teach them how to recover using your seed, and I think that's pretty easy. Prepare a list of links to help them as well.
4491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brave Browser launches Binance Widget on: May 02, 2020, 12:40:52 PM
Put aside all of the information relating to your account (attached to Brave KYC identity if you already KYC), the widget's "stay logged-in" feature put your account in danger if your kid, wife or any other person that is unfamiliar with cryptocurrency touches your computer.
I don't recall having any KYC with using Brave Browser though, are you sure it has KYC? I don't think so.

Good marketing strategy from Binance by getting their widget integrated with Brave browser. I am thinking how much did they pay Brave browser and how will the commission be calculated.
I don't think they need to pay anything. Just with Binance itself, Brave is getting a lot of users with that and also BAT is also getting traction because of that.

As per my understanding the widget service was present for website owners, where in they were paying a good commission. Are they paying the same to Brave or something different.
It's not for ads or something. It's for users. The widgets are for the users to use conveniently without having to open the actual website of Binance. It's quite fast as well IMO.

Now Brave doesn't just know your name but your browsing habits and the money you got from binance. I haven't use brave browser but its definitely not a good browser when it asks for your KYC. It's the first reason why we try avoiding google chrome and its search engine but we tend to look away from them and turn to the other who still does the same collect our data.
Just like Raytheon, I don't think there's a KYC. I didn't participate in any KYC with Brave. Lol.

This would be actually a lot easier for binance traders who those who prefer mobile view but for desktop mode, I'll still prefer binance web application or desktop site because it stays most beneficial for me.
I still prefer the website itself because there's all the information that I need to trade and know what to do. Plus I need the chart to know what I should do as well. Maybe it's best to have it when you are just trading for certain reasons and just hedging your funds, etc.

I also heard that brave browser distributes BAT to the users browing onto the browser. Is it true? I'll surely try brave browser for trading on binance widget.
It is true. You will be shown a banner or a pop-up where you could visit the ad. You could earn from that as well. It's not big but you could just save it, you know?
4492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone booked a hotel using bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 10:50:29 AM
This is going to be quite easy if you have a custodial wallet with Credit Card payment bills at your disposal.

You could just Book a Hotel > Book a date > Pay with your credit card > Pay when Bill is due > Pay it in the custodial wallet.

This is not directly using your Bitcoin, but it works just as much the same. You just have to have a credit card, though. There's no VCC anymore available that I know of that applies to my place, but maybe you could find one in yours.

Some custodial wallets could also pay directly the flights IIRC.
4493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: May 02, 2020, 03:14:54 AM
Right now we are still in the phase where it's on centralized exchanges and I don't think it's going anywhere soon. When we are talking about the privacy and safety of assets, DEX is probably the best bet. For people who are not that tech-savvy, they are going to have a hard time working things out even only just by registering. I think it's going to get complicated for them. I hope that you didn't just shill Blocknet.
4494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting as a Trader and Trading Bitcoin on: May 01, 2020, 11:49:51 PM
I guess we can agree that many trading methods that we already had in the world could actually be applicable to the bitcoin world as well. People from forex world actually brought in their charts, indicators, weird named things and basically all used that to make money from bitcoin
Everything is almost the same, it's just that Crypto runs 24/7. Multiple exchanges as well. What do you mean by weird named things?

Crypto market is no different from the stock market you can invest and trade into both of them, --strategies and current or upcoming situation makes them different on when and how you will respond to it. Indeed, please consider also your emotion here because almost newbie traders are greedy.
Emotion is the number 1 enemy with regards to newbies and even pro traders. I know a lot of people who have traded every day and still is affected or not emotionally controlling themselves.

Everyone who is in this business has the same goal and that is to gain profit but not all are successful because either they are not yet knowledgable enough in trading or they have just failed on the strategy they use when the critical situations happened. I short it will be both books and experience will be the tool for a trader to succeed but every newbie should be aware that failure is always there to mold them and become a great trader. The concept of losing may make us give up but still, it depends on us on how we perceive it.

Venturing out into different things is always about having a profit. It's knowledge and books that could conquer the obstacles in front of you but it's your experience and emotional strength that would help you be successful.
4495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Brave Browser launches Binance Widget on: May 01, 2020, 02:53:24 PM
I have been a user of Brave ever since I discovered the fact that it blocks ads and you could choose which to reward to and for me, that's a game-changer for the browser platform. Additionally, it's a cryptocurrency-friendly browser so that's another plus on my part. Anyways, I have recently read the news about them having a widget with Binance.

So instead of visiting their website, it's already integrated into the browser. You won't have to continuously login etc. Which is a good convenience of mine especially if I'm the one and the only person using the computer. If you are doing this with a shared PC, I don't recommend it to be used.

It's pretty safe to say, this is a positive step towards cryptocurrencies in general.

4496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: May 01, 2020, 02:20:42 PM
Any reason why the price rose for the last few days? It's just the same as when the price goes down. You can never truly tell what could happen. All I know is that there are millions of USDT injected again into the market and then the market risen above $9000. A correction for sure is about to happen and it's not because of the halving, but the people's decision.
4497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $8000 on: May 01, 2020, 09:14:10 AM
People who sold probably needed the money or not all out Bitcoin supporters. It's just that simple. Anyways, having Bitcoin back at such a reputable level like $8000 - $9000 is significant because most of the traders would think that it will break resistance soon and it did. Now a lot of traders are making it seem that there is pullback happening and I think there would be. Let's see what happens when halving is done.

4499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing VS IEO on: April 30, 2020, 08:48:42 AM
Thank you all for the feedback. Another question, is it normal getting listed in one exchange and then doing an IEO in another one?
What stops users from buying from the listed exchange and selling it when IEO is up? I'm not sure if it's possible. Another thought that has come to my mind is that why participate in the IEO if you could just buy it in one of the exchanges, right? There's no point in having two of it right away. Maybe have an IEO then get listed in another exchange.
4500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it an error or margin trading luck? on: April 30, 2020, 08:10:50 AM
It's definitely not an error unless your exchange is a scam or something. Margin trading is for advanced traders that could make you more profits or more losses. You could take advantage of margin trading to have more of that. You have the ability to open positions that typically requires more capital in it.

You're luckier than other traders out there that have shorted the market, it's definitely considered a win for you.

Check this out.
