Why does the price of LTC/BTC also tank during this? Is it because if you lose faith in BTC (with the BTC/USD price crashing) you loose even more faith in alts?
LTC is tied with BTC pretty much always since March (bar a short period of 2-3 weeks below it's huge rise recently). Most coins are now tied with BTC unfortunately, and that's something new. They were usually going in opposite direction of btc and that's where big money could be made. Yeah, an unfortunate trend. I was hoping the alt coins could be used as a hedge against BTC :/ They still could but not on the range they used to be.

Technically we look much better off now than 3 days ago.
Technicals, schmechnicals. This is 100% mass psychology. Discuss. Hehe I've basically called this drop exactly how it's happened using technicals. If you want to trade using mass psychology be my guest. If you want to sell some coins to me now I'll buy them. Discuss. Oh really, your technicals indicated Chinese regulations inbound? Go sell your bullshit somewhere else. Discuss. Drop was about to happen to be honest, China news just made it happen faster and maybe on the bigger scale. Completely disagree. Dont be so naive and lie to yourself , No, I don't lie to myself. I was occasionally shorting coins for like last 2 weeks. Got bit burned one though when it bounced against my position but I was definitely expecting drop to 500-550 and was mostly in fiat for longer than that. Not as long as I should though so my profit won't be as big as it could and should. I wish it was a simple crash though, those are not making people to scream "Bitcoin is dead" like it is now the case. And btw, you should take some rest, sleep a bit or something, you're becoming too nervous, not good, specially if you are trading.

guess Chinese people don't understand that disabled exchanges will mean price will sky rocket for bitcoin because there will be no easy way to buy them. And they will need them to move wealth out of the country.
Those Chinese people who sold because of fear already sold, it's 3 days old news, those who are selling now are those who are trying to cause more panic worldwide and get cheap coins. I was just debating this with myself oddly as it sounds. But it was more like if the bears have been bearish from the way up from 500+ how can they still have coins to sell now lol.. so I guess either a combo of weak hands plus people with large enough holdings and avg costs buy in per/ BTC that are in the single digits trying to drag it down to increase holdings. Alot of this doesn't seem to be the motivation to get more fiat. http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000229171&__source=yahoo|headline|other|video|&par=yahoo BOBBY ON THE PHONE? OH MY LORD Of course there's no need. Short term crash was always going to happen and China did us good in last month or two but long term China was never going to be a main Bitcoin force.

I'm thinking of going full fiat right now. To buy back at a lower price (hopefully) ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I am going into fiat now too. Best decision ever. I love how much there are deluded holders in here. It was bound to fall before rising again. But there was no acknowledgement of the possibilty by the majority. There was even some thread here named a new paradigm: the bubble which doesn't pop. Best decision ever? You posted that like 2 hours ago.. it's awful decision or awful lack of earlier decisions.

Well we are close to bottoming. Think there is about one last wash or two left then we go up. Could linger here for a few hours but don't think days. Bought back most of what I sold at 900 and 1100. Still some last bids left.
Discuss.
Yeah, basically several billion humans found out today that they are not allowed to invest in bitcoin exchanges. I do not think we have hit a bottom. Discuss. Several billions? Yeah, sure ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Why are the polls on here are always so bullish, no 200 or 300? Not even 450?
>540 is pretty bearish cause it encompasses everything below it. but, but, mirsad told me it's gonna be double digits, I don't care about >540 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

This is why I tell people bitcoin will succeed. Any amount can be moved around the world in minutes. While I'm on the phone for hours with "personal bankers" who are supposed to be there for you 24/7, and still can't get a wire into any exchange in a timely fashion. This is my money, and my clients money, we should be able to move it wherever we want. We're talking 10s of millions, not some small transfer where they'll screw around with you for calling late at night.
ughhh who are you again? someone who owns like 100k BTC or so.. yeah.,.... right ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Can I lol ? He can easily manipulate the market at any point of time if he wants, with those 80,000 BTC ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Why don't you sell half of your coins right now, we want cheap coins ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Nope that balance is empty. He sent to an address that has 40k now..... Yeah this is why i loled at you guys. Oh yeah, you're right. But his overall balance is surely not empty. How do you know he own the other address? Can you stop making me laugh? or you just dont know how bitcoins work? Its like the same idiots complaining there are 927 PEOPLE own >50% of bitcoin. Hes signed messages with that address as well. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1p6lnq/i_am_loaded_of_bitcointalkorg_ama/Thanks, tired of quoting this one ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

One thing bitcoin needs badly right now is a leveraged trading market with real capital. Bitfinex and Icbit are useless to us because a single margin deposit is likely to exceed their available funds.
That's probably something being built as we speak. When big money enters the game, specially Wall Street one, they'll require that kind of trading as they are used to it.
