This might be the bottom, for a while at least.. as everyone expects 300-400, so bottom is usually higher..
Remember all the Fiat thats sitting on the exchanges, when its gonna bounce its gonna bounce hard  Roll Eyes

I think people are readjusting their opinions at the moment. I think it will reasonable to assume the market is going to fall perhaps to the 2xxs before this is said and done.  A market doesn't just recover from something like this. This news is like the Gox issues in April, except that it could drag out for weeks (end of January).  Bitcoins will be coming to non-China exchanges to be sold. That is a fact.

Every bit of bullishness needs to be rung out of this market before it recovers.

BY THE WAY, you must have picked your reentery point. You are bullish all of a sudden.

One thing bitcoin needs badly right now is a leveraged trading market with real capital. Bitfinex and Icbit are useless to us because a single margin deposit is likely to exceed their available funds.

How would that solve the volatility issue?  If anything it will create more of it by putting in more capital bottlenecks.  The very same ones you are having issues with right now.

Its pretty obvious he wants to buy right now, but has no funds. With leverage he could use coins to buy coins and volatility during a crash is reduced by large bids and buys.

+1

That means a BIG party for the bears tonight  !

Since BTC China is down, don't expect $1K levels any time sooner. Think we will stabilize around $600 levels for 1-2 months, not more than that, cuz China was the one to take it to $1300 and closing of the biggest BTC exchange is not some joke

Well we are close to bottoming. Think there is about one last wash or two left then we go up. Could linger here for a few hours but don't think days. Bought back most of what I sold at 900 and 1100. Still some last bids left.

Discuss.

Yeah, basically several billion humans found out today that they are not allowed to invest in bitcoin exchanges. I do not think we have hit a bottom.

I'm thinking of going full fiat right now. To buy back at a lower price (hopefully)  Roll Eyes

I am going into fiat now too.

Best decision ever.

I love how much there are deluded holders in here. It was bound to fall before rising again. But there was no acknowledgement of the possibilty by the majority. There was even some thread here named a new paradigm: the bubble which doesn't pop.

guess Chinese people don't understand that disabled exchanges will mean price will sky rocket for bitcoin because there will be no easy way to buy them. And they will need them to move wealth out of the country.
