Yes that's right as if the dev can't put the time into the coin anymore or can't find help, maybe the community could take over and make RAIN into a top coin which it deserves. The idea behind it is good as no other coin is doing this or has come up with the idea so the concept is there like it has all along but the dev just needs to do the work or find people willing to help on the project. I really hope we get an answer soon because the longer this goes on the more people will just give up and leave. |

I must say I'm not having much luck betting on the winter Olympics this time. I am mainly betting on the ice hockey as that is a sport I like to bet on with the over/under goals but its been hard to predict as some teams that ain't all that good have been playing well. I might try and have a few bets on the other winter sports and see how I go.
You must know that hockey in the olympics is not like in the other professional leagues like the national hockey league or the russian leagues(KHL) because they don't put on the players that outperform the others. They have a rotation that they must follow so ALL players, whether they are good or bad, must play in the game and given generally the equal amount of minutes on the ice. Just for example the team I heard are playing against the korean team are putting in a professor by trade into the net for their next game. So that right there says it all.  Also the womans team for another scored 8 goals against none in one game earlier in the week. So it was definitely one-sided with this game inparticular and are should be an indicator that interleague play are never this lop sided.  Yes true! But I don't bet on the teams to win head to head and just bet on the over/under goals which is normally easier to bet on then head to head as like you said some countries don't play their best players and sometimes even rest their good players for later on in the tournament so that is why I bet on the goals. But even this has been hard to predict as I was certain that the USA/Russia game would score over 5.5 goals but it ended 4-0 with Russia winning. I don't bet big on these games as I just do it for fun as its the winter Olympics. |

Congratulations to the great Roger Federer on creating history by becoming the oldest player to become No.1  (Breaking Agassi record ) . I doubt that he will finish the year end as no.1 though as he might skip the clay season but its such a great achievement. What a time to live. Seriously maintaining form and becoming number one in Tennis game that too in this age it is great and unbelievable congratulation Federer. we are just at the beginning of 2018 so for me also it's doubtful that he can maintain his position throughout the year. no words to say about his achievement. H e has done very well and despite his age he is really playing and even outplaying who are way younger than him and by setting this record, I am sure he wouldn't really mind if he doesn't end the year as the World Number One. I think getting to number one is his main goal this year. And since he has met it already, I'm sure that we will not push his body just to maintain the position. And also with regards to his age, he needs time for himself or else f he overexerts himself, He is going to get injured or maybe something more serious might happen. Also many congratulations to him for winning his 97th career ATP title. What an achievement. Congrats to Roger Federer for winning the Rotterdam Open title, He beat Grigor Dimitrov in two sets by 6-2 6-2 to win his 92nd title of his career. He is so much on fire. Congrats to Federer for winning another title, it was a one sided match with Federer coming on top. Lets hope that he can keep his momentum going for a long time . Federer is simply in the best form of his life right now! If he can keep this up for the year then we could see him winning a lot more titles and could he pull off winning all 4 Grand Slam titles? I think he could win at least another Grand Slam this year. He deserves to be the number #1 player in the world and he could make it 100 career titles sometime this year, now that will be a huge achievement. |

Many are complaining from both the RAIN and BOAT camps about the inactivity of the said developer. This is a one man job right? There is really no team involved on this? Maybe there are still personal things dev is handling that is why there is no movement.
Yes this is a one man team however in the last update from the dev he did say that some people have reached out to him to help him on the project so it would be nice to see an update about this on whether he does have some other people helping him on the project. People are now starting to get impatient as it has been many months with no active development and the website is still down. The website should be a simple fix which shouldn't take long but its been down for a while now which doesn't give the project a good look and shows that it might be inactive so I do see why people are complaining here and in Boat. Hopefully we get an update in the next week or so from the dev. |

The re-branding of Footy Cash in March will have a new name, logo, website, and expanded team.
We have listened to the feedback from the beta testing and will be making big improvements to the platform, along with an emphasis on marketing.
Big things coming I'm really looking forward to this re-branding as it could really help get FootyCash the exposure it needs. The good thing with Boat is that the price is holding steady even though not much is going on here. I think once we get some news updates from the dev it can make the price even more stable as it gives people confidence to buy and hold the coin. Not sure what is going on with both projects as we have not heard from the dev in a while now so I hope he is working on the project.
I have been using staking coins intensely for the last 8 months or so and this coin is really pulling ahead. It stakes consistently, and even though there isn't a high percentage, it stakes quite often with not much investment. People are shilling a lot of staking coins that lose big money, so I think we should all stick with BOAT and promote it to keep up with all the crappy coins out there. Other good coins I've found like BOAT are Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Growthcoin, Healthyworm, Chess, 808, Compound, 1337 (ELITE), PoSToken (stakes in Ethereum wallet), Bitradio and BUZZ. These are all coins we should fight for in case any weird forces try to overshadow them. They also all have good enough communities. Bottlecaps was/is good but needs to get on a decent exchange. I totally agree with you on Boat that it is a great coin to stake and has been for me since I got into the coin many months ago. WE do have the community here to help the coin grow but I think a lot of people are waiting to see something from the dev and the same can be said with RAIN. I think once we see the dev back working on the project, then we might see the community supporting the coin once again. We can see that there is support as the network weight for staking is consistently high so it tells us that there is a lot of people staking and also the active nodes is always high. |

how can we get honey traded on other exchanges
It will be hard to motivate exchanges to add honey since there isn't much trading activity right now. Even on coinexchange there is only $400 USD in honey/btc trading today. This probably adds up to maybe a few dollars in fees. After we see dev's big announcement this might change. Yeah that is the problem right now for Honey, the trading volume. However I think it will pick up once like you said we get the big announcement from the dev which I think we be in the next week or so. Then once the volume picks up we could try and get Honey listed on more exchanges. Its a shame that when Nova exchange comes back that they won't be having Honey listed on there any more as they have delisted Honey already, not sure why as they still have a lot of dead coins listed on there but they delist Honey, doesn't make sense to me. Maybe once everything is in place we could try and get Honey relisted on Nova once again. What does this coin have going for it besides a low market cap? I know you are all saying that the developer will return and focus on honey but what's the general direction for this I ask myself. Even if the blockchain works solid, there has to happen a lot in order for this to go up in value significantly. Are there any big plans? Well right now there is nothing really going for Honey. However like we have said, the dev is going to make an announcement very soon on where Honey is at and hopefully then we'll see what future plans he has for the coin but right now all we can do is wait and if you have some Honey start staking to earn the rewards which most of us are doing. Yes right now Honey is a gamble because no one knows whats going on but it could be a gamble that pays off big in the near future. Regarding the update from the dev has there been any ETA as to when he is going to announce it? Well no there was no time frame on when the dev will post the announcement but I am thinking that it will be soon. Apart from the South African's failure to read the wrist spinners, I think the form of Virat Kohli means that they narrowly avoided a white wash in this series. Sachin's record of most ODI centuries does seem to be under threat. There are far more ODIs played these days, compared to test matches. Yes Kohli is in the best form of his career which has helped India easily beat SA in this ODI series 5-1. Well records are there to be broken so I think we'll see Sachin's record for the most ODI centuries fall in the coming years. Yes they may play more ODI matches now days but if you all look at the records of both players Kohli is much better as he has scored 35 centuries in just 200 matches compared to Tendulkar 49 centuries in 452 matches so clearly it shows that its only a matter of time before Kohli passes Tendulkar and in quicker time. Looking forward to seeing today's T20 match with New Zealand and England as they are both fighting it out for a spot in the T20 final to face Australia. It will be a tough game to pick a winner but I'll go with New Zealand only because they are playing on their home pitch. |

Just keep your coins on your wallet, tell friends and other to buy 808 as quick as possible because of the low price now. In 2017 808 highest was 30 satoshi, now 1 or 2. Elitecoin is now 4 satoshi, 808 can go to at least 10 satoshi. Also Beancash is still going good. 2018 will be a good year for POS coins. Otherwise I bought some 421 coins (Proof of Stake reward: 421% APR ) keep them in my own wallet and stake them every 10 days. I don't believe in stakeunited because i want to manage my own money...
I agree that people should have their own coins staking in their own wallets as like you said we are controlling the coins/money and not letting some pool control the coins as anything can happen. Now with Elite coin, the reason why the price went up and is holding is because they re-branded the coin and created a fresh new look which created interest in the coin and the same goes for BeanCash. We shall see how well 808 performs this year and to see if it can break last years high. |

I had the power go out last night which then corrupted the files in the wallet, lucky for me I always make a blockchain back up every month so I don't have to sync from the start. I'm thinking that maybe in the next wallet release that there is a fix for this when the power goes out like many other wallets have now days. Then we won't need to re-sync from the start or from a saved back up of the blockchain. What do you think?
Hi Vella, you don't have to re-sync from start. You could try restarting your wallet with -reindex parameter. Oh okay, I never knew I could do this lol, I was always just re-syncing from where I saved the blockchain which is normally a month old as I save it every month just in case I get a power outage which I have had a couple already this month. Now I know what to do from now on so thanks my friend. |

That was one of the best T20 matches I have seen between New Zealand and Australia WOW!!!! This match had everything with records falling and even a guy in the crowd earning himself a cool 50k for taking a catch. The openers for both teams set the innings up but it was Australia's middle order that performed better then New Zealand and in the end that is what helped Australia get the job done and win the match by 5 wickets. Now New Zealand and England must fight for a spot in the final which will be an interesting match.
