4501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Medalist Bought Bitcoin on: May 24, 2020, 07:11:45 PM

It looks like a lot of celebrities are getting interested in investing or buying some bitcoin.

More like Binance is paying celebrities to "organically" promote their business, which also means they are promoting Bitcoin. Imo it's not such a great thing, people shouldn't be getting their cryptocurrency opinions from Olympic athletes and other celebrities, they have zero qualifications on the subject and can be shilling for altcoins just as easily.

Possible, it's a win-win situation for Binance, we have seen this kind of stunt being pulled in 2017 wherein a lot of projects are paying high profile celebrities like Floyd to promote their project. So most likely, Binance, follow this blue print in order to capture audiences, specially followers Christie Pearce Rampone. But still this is a good publicity stunt for BTC.

Thats what im thinking where this is just part of marketing stunt in side of Binance since they do know that it can give out significant exposure if they do really target out famous people which will give out publicity of their platform and we dont even know if that whole bitcoin was purchased is totally free or
given on said Gold medalist and just made up some positive words towards it and at the same time it do mentioned about Binance platform.
I do say that this is some sort of casual marketing strategies and this isnt really surprising at all. They're clever when it comes to this one and
that what makes them to the top on where they do really know on what theyre doing.
4502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 23, 2020, 11:59:49 PM
Yes for me anonymity is very important where especially in my country online gambling is banned and you could go to tail if you're found out gambling online.
That's why i use cryptocurrency gambling sites because it requires no personal data or KYC and any gambling site that requires it is a red flag for me.

I think I can agree with this. Because with online crypto gambling, you can hide your gambling activities and also by using your VPN, you don't need to worry if someone is spying your online activities. I think most online gamblers are after for privacy and anonymity. And if you are a small timer, a lot of websites don't require KYC and you can enjoy the games without worrying that you need to submit your docs. Aside from benefiting all the other conveniences that online gambling is offering to a player.

You would only use VPN if your country does restrict online gambling activity yet ISP would able to check out your browsing activity thats why if you do need to save up your ass from trouble then you would really need this kind of thing where you can masked out your activity towards gambling without being detected by your government but if not then you can directly play as you like and this doesnt particularly avoiding the government mean but also
in other peoples eyes as well. You can play anonymously and not being known online and thats the beauty when you do gamble here on crypto space.
4503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earning ERC 20 from non fungible tokens on: May 23, 2020, 10:30:16 PM
That's the usual promise of these projects to their investors with what they are working with. If I'm an investor and I want to stake, I'll choose the best staking coins where I can earn a bit but a legit profit which is the normal sequence of staking.

The most popular staking coins won't promise that much profit but at least you have an assurance that they have a great economy which supports the token. Unlike with that project or token, you can't be sure how long it will exist.

Nah i wont still consider out any projects nor companies that do have that staking or any sort yet it doesnt really give out something new because we know that returns wont really be that much unless if you do put up big amounts.Take for an example with DASH and other known staking coins out there,
where it isnt really that worth for you to put up.Hearing out good or positive words into those project owners arent that new yet they would make up sweet
and convincing sayings towards to public and promise up everything specially with listing to exchanges and guarantees roi or similar thing.
I would surely skip these things anytime.
4504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time for us to get back to trading? on: May 23, 2020, 09:09:44 PM
Real traders trade every day no matter how is the market: red, green, purple, orange... because it's their job. Even after losses they continue to trade. Here people believe they're a trader when they're gambling with $2000.

Do you imagine if IRL traders from banks and institutions stopped to trade because the markets are entering in a dark period (like currently with covid-19 or like in 2008-2009)

Absolutely right on what you have said where real traders doesnt really mind on whats the current market condition and come to think that losses is always been part of the risk or they journey that they had taken. We do see that the market still moves which means there are activity between sellers and buyers,
there might be people who do turn their back from trading but doesnt mean that it would be applied out globally because real traders would really see an
opportunity on declining market where they do saw the chance on buying out cheap and would gain out later on when the market tends to recover.
Rinse and repeat the same process then boom = profits.!
4505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: May 23, 2020, 07:41:19 PM
These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.

Blockchain tech is indeed innovative but doesnt mean that every project out there is really worth to invest on.Diversification is always been suggested but you should know the risk accompanied with it and you should always look for the best coins out there and go for the top ranks rather than going to low rank one but you should always thing that it wont give out guarantees that it can make you rich or make you profits in the future but at least you do already have some view that theyre having more potential compared to others.Add-ons is good as always but always take it as a pinch of salt.
4506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price drops is a buying opportunity? on: May 22, 2020, 08:56:45 PM
I hate it when I am out of money when price goes down. Its such a nice and juicy spot to buy bitcoin right now because the drop was for nothing and we are going to be even higher than $10k very soon, that is an easy 10% profit right there in one week. Unfortunately there was some family stuff due to corona and I had to spend a bit, I still do have a bit of money but I am saving that for the rest of the month until I get my pay check.

If by the end of this month price is still under $9.5k I will buy more bitcoins for sure, short term of course because its my paycheck but I trust bitcoin enough to put my pay check (not all of it of course but a good chunk) into bitcoin for couple weeks and I will be getting out at over $10k, that will help me buy some more stuff at least Cheesy.
I know the feels when you do really get into this kind of situation where you do like to buy but you do have other priorities on which your money would be spent on.Its alright if we do missed up things because we know that we are on a pandemic and securing out fiat this time is important for us to buy our needs. It is indeed a good buying opportunity yet we might break out 5 digit soon or in a short time.Answering about bitcoin drops and buying opportunity? then this one is always been a question yet we cant be sure if the price would head go way lower or would shoot up this is why
it do always matter with our discretion.
4507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 22, 2020, 08:06:28 PM
Underground casinos have no name and no owner as legal so if there is any dispute then it is impossible to resolve there and also if it not under any regulations we can't get fairness on results as well so people should not gamble at all on such place at any circumstances. If they are unable to control their urge then they can simply gamble online. Roll Eyes

One of the cons when you do deal up with these illegal places on where you cant be assured if those would be fair or not but somewhat as a gambler you can eventually tell or feel up when somethings goes wrong or isnt right.Pretty sure that there are underground places that do operate now because there would be always a demand specially to those players who do actively go to gambling places and of course you will surely mind of on creating underneath and benefit out on peoples addiction.

Just let them be if they do ignore out and neglect rules amidst on a pandemic situation.Just be sure that they wont regret out neither they would be get caught by the authority or would simply
catch up the virus. Their call!
4508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: May 22, 2020, 07:04:43 PM
What advice can you give those who buy Bitcoin at 19k in 2018? Because I still have friend who got in at that time, now he doesn't have the mind to sell and take his loss, what is the best advice to pass unto someone in this situation??

Nothing! Just move on and dont let your emotion control you and if you dont still need money then better to held of those coins until we would reach up ATH or even higher for which you would able to
sell off those coins that you've been holding for too long and yes this would really test out your patience and if your friend do able to hold upto this time then i do consider that he do have that
strong self control because if this one happens to other people then they might already sell of wayback in previous years where price is crashing because they did panic that time but if you
are a believer then you'll surely wait up for the recovery.
4509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: May 22, 2020, 06:10:24 PM
KNOW YOUR MARGIN TRADE
Dont dive into this thing when you are just starting up to trade yet come to think even veterans do really have a hard time to deal with
margin yet i can say that this is some sort mix with gambling and if you dont know how to bust up in a short time then its
better not to consider this one first.
OVER TRADING

You should really set specific limits or call it a day when you do trade.Set goal and dont ask for more
The important thing is that you do able to have green results and dont be greedy because this
might give the opposite.
4510  Economy / Economics / Re: Rookie thing. on: May 20, 2020, 10:34:43 PM
I'm reading about all this cryptocurrency for a little while now (hard not to its all over and everywhere) and I got some questions that I could not find a satisfying answer.

1. There is no question about Fiat money (whatever it is $, £ or euro.) thats its losing it's value, so the question is. If it got no value what value Bitcoin have then ? ( i will use bitcoin for must common crypto but thinking of any). Can't get my head over it.

2.If you imagine in let's say 20 years FIAT goes to CRYPTO all the way. You want to buy a car worth $5000 but paying in Crypto, how much would you pay ? if $ got no value.

Maybe answer is simple for some of you. Please be good samaritan and share some knowlage here.
Cryptocurrency is not here to replace fiat, but we are going to just have it as another method of transaction which is peer-to-peer. The government will as well create their own cryptocurrency, but it's not going to be a replacement, we are just going to have it and it will only be used by those who want to make use of it. It's just like we have the Credit and Debit Cards (Visa and MasterCard), PayPal, Mobile banking apps, and a lot of other payment methods out there that you can use.

Cryptocurrency is just going to be another option to be added to those, with extra features. Probably it may take decades of time for all people of globe to be thinking about switching over to all electronic money and it may take up to a century of time, even we start about compete eradication of paper money right away. People first adopt e-money of their fiats first and then may adopt cryptos. Long phases to be traveled in-between.
You said it right and people would really always end up on using those traditional ways.Even now we do already have electronic payments via fiat and we know or do try to compared among the two in
terms of services offered then we can say that fiat system would really always have the edge.Just like you i dont really believing that much that would go to that certain extent that crypto would be the main
thing on upcoming years but doesnt mean that it wont have the potential. It serves its purpose as an alternative and wont become the main player. As long as government does really exist
they would really still exist and creating their e-fiat if the era would certain change.
4511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Having trouble understanding relationship between BTC price and Alt prices. on: May 20, 2020, 09:07:50 PM
I usually prefer looking at my profits/losses in USD rather than in BTC because Bitcoin price is usually changing so it's hard to track the profits or loss in BTC.
This is how I also look to my profits too when I trade alts but, some traders do follow the satoshi pricing and that's how they calculate their profits.

It will really just vary on what you are trying to accumulate since from the start it would be either BTC or USD. If you do look for fiat profit then it wouldnt matter if btc price or alt price would soar up or dump down as long you do see your portfolio is gaining up thats why its always important to have a tracker. In my case ive been using Blockfolio app on checking out my holdings
and ive been doing this for years and when the time i do able to gain in terms of fiat then i would definitely sell out and then re-buy when the price had gone down once again.
Rinse and repeat as long you can earn money then you're doing good.
4512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi just moved his coins? on: May 20, 2020, 07:40:55 PM
Although it's definitely an old user, I don't get why it necessary needs to be Satoshi or any other major early participant?

Get used to it on where anytime do events happen then there would really be a specific number of reasons accompanied with it which people do presume on without even thinking that this
might be really just an early adopter who do just recently remember that he do still have some bitcoins on his old wallet which is stored into his old HDD or found out again
the piece of paper on where he do store up his keys and also why people do overreact too much on small percentage decrease in price and calling it a FUD?
4513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: about whales entering and leaving exchange on: May 19, 2020, 09:06:08 PM
I don't think there is actually any way to understand what that "whale" wants to do. You shouldn't predict whats going to happen to your investment based on those movement. Your predictions might be wrong and you might end up making huge loss. There are thousands of bitcoins entering and leaving an exchange, I wonder how they know that those funds belongs to a "whale".
And also you wont able to know if those BTC would be either traded with some alts or whatsoever thats why tracing it up would really be hard.
I dont know why people are really that much concern on whale moves yet identifying which one would really be hard.Lets say there are indeed some
alerts, then whats next? As said there are huge volumes of btc incoming and outgoing ones and identifying a particular whale move
is nearly impossible.
4514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 19, 2020, 07:19:41 PM
hello, i was wondering if Eos can be a good investment for the future ? what are your thoughts ?
EOS choice is way more better than considering other low ranking alts in the market. We have seen on how this platform performs in terms of applications which is way more better than other shit coins in the market but ill tell you that it will definitely vary into you because we know that crypto investment doesnt guarantee you to be successful in future years but at least this one is really indeed a better choice.Stick with top alts in the market but always think of about the risk accompanied with it.Expect the unexpected and thats why you should be wise on when to sell out for profits.
4515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: May 19, 2020, 06:56:54 AM
Zoom out, YES!

The answer is so positive, I like it. if only people will think that way, then we will see bitcoin pumping already, but we are in the reality now, there's no guarantee that although we think it will rise it will happen, it could dump and we might see a new dip, though we don't like that to see but as bitcoin is being so unpredictable, things like that is normal.

I'm not trying to be "positive", it's simply a FACT. Zoom out, and see. I would only change my opinion if Bitcoin crashes under its 200-week SMA, and stays under the 200-week SMA.
Not only your opinion would be changed but to all perma-bulls out there would really changed up their opinion if that technical aspect that you had mentioned would really broken.

For people who are still questioning bitcoins potential then looking up on the chart on zoomed aspect would really already tell the answer.  Grin same as you said which we cant really stop people
to think up positive.

Of course, the market is volatile on where there would be sell-offs and fomo'ed situation.
4516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: May 17, 2020, 10:44:38 PM

Many people are free these days and it is easy to get addicted to gambling as gambling is easily available online. One should find other hobbies other than gambling so that he does not become addicted to it.

Hobbies that have the benefit to be precise, because if we chose some hobby that will lead to any bad thing we will end up consumed by that thing in our whole life. some people chose to build their bodies by learning the proper exercise and diet and doing the physical fitness challenge to ease the boredom of this pandemic. I think this kind of hobby will bring us a lot of benefits to getting away from the bad one.

We should really consider this one rather than pushing yourself to gamble. It is way more better to spent your time into daily activities even though its indoor but at least you are diverting yourself into something which wont really mold up the intention of playing gambling once again.Boredom is there but there are lots of ways to get rid of it, its not that necessarily for you to stick on what you've been
into specially on gambling activity and since we are on our own homes then its better to utilize that time to make ourselves a lot way more better.
4517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: May 17, 2020, 08:47:03 PM
You should never have encouraging or misleading dreams that you see on social media, you should not trade with their dream. In particular, you should not use the money you will need in the short term or trade with debt. I would like to tell you about the painful experience I had last.
I came across a very nice trading training on Youtube and watched it all. After watching this tutorial, I made several transactions with a trial account and was successful. Afterwards, I started trading with a 2000 euro loan because I was a student and did not have enough savings. Everything was very nice at first, I was earning almost all my transactions. Then, with the motivation of this event, I started trading without using stop loss and lost all my capital in a single day. Here, I actually did not make a mistake here, I made my first mistake when I started trading with debt money. Therefore, I do not recommend you to trade without your own accumulation and unless there is an amount that will bother you in case of loss. Now I am paying that debt every month with the interest, and I will probably finish my installments in the next 12 months.
Thats sad to hear out and thats the main reason on why i dont really consider on taking a loan or even borrowing to my friends when it comes to investment.

We know the risk behind into these kind of investment and we cant be sure if we would able to make money or profits from time to time.I had experience with that demo thing where

it do make me feels like im getting rich in a short span of time but we know that reality doesnt work that way until you experience it and do have some regrets in the end.
4518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prediction btc on: May 16, 2020, 11:02:48 PM
Is there any predictions on BTC? I know, that's a cliche to talk about it, but I found a thing, the article, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/bitcoin-will-coast-one-million-in-three-years. It says that we'll see the BTC achive  1 mln$ dollar price soon, in three years. That's a lot to think and imagine about. What's your prediction? Is there any other chances to wait the other thing?
There were already lots of speculations that do talks about big numbers which isnt surprising. Here are some of it;

https://cointelegraph.com/news/veteran-investor-says-bitcoin-price-surge-to-467-000-is-achievable
https://u.today/333000000-insane-bitcoin-btc-price-target-named-by-silk-road-founder

If we do recall, McAfee 1M prediction in 2020 had already failed and wont be surprised if all of these calls will be next in line.
Lets should be at least realistic, we cant even break out the previous ceiling.
4519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: May 16, 2020, 09:23:55 PM
Hi,

I see lots of abandoned crypto projects with potential and lets say I am interested in one of them and want to keep the devlopment going. What should I do to achieve that?
Do I need to talk to the creators of the project?

Looking for some insight on it.

Thanks
You would need to approach and tell them if they do have still plans to revive the project or not, but i doubt that you cant simply find them since majority of projects nowadays is been created by anonymous devs unless if you do attached or engage with legit projects with known devs or team then you do have the chance for you to approach them.Yes, any project can have that chance
but im not sure if the dedication would be still the same in talks with dev's side, once they do fail and do able to saw that theres no much support in the past then they will presume that high
chances it would be repeated out. It all matters with projects relevance or actual usage for it to get some recognition.
4520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's some talk about protfolio management! on: May 16, 2020, 08:31:48 PM
Diversification is always a better choice or thing to be done rather than going all in a on single yet we know the chances of recovery
would really be there since we can still pull out in case of dumps or unfortunate events compared if you do have one then it will
surely put you up into a big problem.I do love the diversification above which shows on image where USDT is included where
this part of port is really intended for buying opportunities.
