4501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: December 01, 2019, 10:52:11 AM
Typical business operate in similar manner.. It's generally about Sacrificing something to Win, i.e sacrificing money, time, effort, etc. Sacrificing to Win probably won't work on luck-based gambling, which is why me too doubt the efficacy of those scripts or strategies. Sacrifice could work on skill-based gambling though. You will need alots of sacrifices to gain skills, experience, for increased chances of winning.
4502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Wallet Privacy on: December 01, 2019, 09:56:04 AM
I think I know what Op wants. I remember asking similar question on this forum 2017/2018.
He probably wants a wallet he can easily manage multiple addresses for security reasons. It's quite risky to have lots of Bitcoin on a single address. It can easily be stolen at once by kidnapper, thief, hacker, criminal etc. One of the safest ways to store huge amount of Bitcoin is to easily have it split or assembled into multiple addresses & back to single address. The splitting and assembling thing need to be done automatically on a single platform for ease of use.   So , if a kidnapper or thief asks for your Bitcoin, a part or few parts of the coins can be given to him/her while you still have the remaining parts.
I hope this is what Op wants. And there probably are hardwallets with the feature.
4503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 01, 2019, 09:02:46 AM
I agree.
Another important tip is to have a small gambling budget whenever you plan to gamble, and don't come to casinos with extra money, save for money for fuel/gas/ransport fare. . Stop gambling once the budget is exhausted.

People should also learn not to get attracted to other attractions in the casinos.. Examples: images, alcohol, songs, etc. I guess addicts are easily attached to this "fun" things especially they have sad life or don't find much happiness outside of the casino.
4504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Practical "Self-Exclusion" from Bitcoin Gambling Websites on: December 01, 2019, 07:57:27 AM
I guess for the self-exclusion thing to be effective, all gambling centers/websites need to have access to gamblers private information? There is potential risk to privacy in this case.

The better alternative could be to gradually decrease the number of times a gambler gambles in a week, till he stops gambling. Or probably have special applications that prevent you from opening anything related to gambling  on the internet.
4505  Other / Off-topic / Re: Abortion - Pro or Con - Tell Us Why Either Side on: December 01, 2019, 07:26:28 AM
Abortion is definitely murder. It's self centered thing to do... even if the mothers life is at risk.
I used to be pro abortion to honest. I converted to the other side when I met a child of my relation whom I advised to be aborted when his father sought my opinion concerning his unexpected pregnancy.
I was filled with guilt when the child, who is now grown, starred at me. I immediately remembered my advise to his father and I was too shamed to lift him up. I was filled with guilt and very confused at that moment.

I think what should happen if either the mother's or unborn child's life is at risk is to try save both of them and not try to murder one for the sake of the other. I strongly believe if more effort is put into saving the two, scientists will quickly come up with solutions for saving both mother and  unborn rather than murdering/sacrificing one.

What is your advice to crypto investors now?

First of all, always Invest what you can afford to lose. Second, trade only Bitcoin and few top coins until you become experienced in trading unpopular/risky coins.
Seems you are new trader. You need a lot of learning to do. I'd advise you learn trading well before you continue trading. There are lots of good trading tutorials on youtube and in ebooks.
4508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 29, 2019, 04:42:51 PM
I guess you asked people who are not  deep users of the internet or people who don't do alot of research online. Most of the people who are familiar with bitcoin where I live are people with computer-related or internet related businesses.
I think Bitcoin/cryptocurrency is not available on platforms and in places with millions of people for huge visibility and usage. This one of the reasons it is not that popular in many places yet
4509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: November 29, 2019, 02:49:41 PM
Most of the hacks happen on centralized platforms. It probably goes to show that centralized platforms are the main targets to crypto criminals. Blockchains and real decentralized platforms are pretty safe. The real ones have remained free from serious hacking so far.
4510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 29, 2019, 01:21:14 PM
I really don't see why governments/nations would need cryptocurrencies if most of the important features of Blockchain will be discarded. They will most likely discard, immutablity, transparency, decentralization, anonymity, permissionless, trustlessness etc. These important features are what make cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency.

They probably should just use digital fiat unless they want a shared/single Blockchain for fiat-like tokens
4511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 29, 2019, 10:47:56 AM
I think, buying Crypto is like gambling ?
Not necessarily. Buying crypto is called investing. Gambling and investing differes in many ways. First way: gambling requires pure luck while investment requires knowledge and patience. Second way: gambling is risker than investing. Third way: you can double your money in gambling and lose it too within a minute while in investing, you have to wait for weeks/ days/ or months.

I agree. Also cryptocurrency investors can actually gamble with their coins by trading leverage or investing in pump and dump. Leverage trading kind of qualifies as gambling, though less risky than most luck-based gambling but probably riskier than some skill-based gambling.
4512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new proof-of-work system for Bitcoin mining? on: November 29, 2019, 10:11:49 AM
I think I first read about Optical Proof-of-Work (OPoW) last year or so. I was quite excited then  aswell but I didn't hear much about it thereafter. I guess they are still working on it or have given up already.

My only problem with this, is the idea that it will encourage the use of "better and better technology/mining hardware".
I guess the better alternative to this idea would be something energy-efficient, easily available, easy and cheap to make... Otherwise hardware manufacturing will be centralized. And the manufacturer could even decide to stop exporting or selling to regular people.
4513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Thinking of Bitcoin Blockchain Accessible Without Internet on: November 29, 2019, 09:37:26 AM
What if I'm in an area without internet and I need to spend bitcoins? Wouldn't it help the decentralization principle if bitcoin doesn't depend on third-party internet connection? An internet built on the Bitcoin blockchain should be a possibility.

Excuse me to say, did you really think of this post before posting it here? This post tells me that you do really know anything about cryptocurrency and how blockchain technology actually works. The internet is the central tool for the establishment of blockchain technology and  cryptocurrency.  The internet is never a third party but just serves as a linkage between computers in any part of the world. Without the internet, you can not make any bitcoin or cryptocurrency transactions because the nature of the entire blockchain network.

You're probably correct. But it's possible to use Bitcoin in areas without the internet. Some people have been able to do it from what I can tell.
The transactions will still require  internet though for verification.  The most important thing is to have available internet in one of the two locations involved in transactions

4514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New EU law: Banks allowed to hold and sell Bitcoin as of 2020 on: November 29, 2019, 09:09:36 AM
Sounds like collecting rainwater from your home roof and storing them in your community's Central Water reserve for safety reason OR collecting the rainwater from the Central Water reserve. Well, that is Ok for most people but not for some.
This is Ok as long as freedom to "Be your own bank" is not infringed.
4515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: November 29, 2019, 07:37:49 AM
All those people in that picture are ignorant about online gambling? Why they are waiting on queue to gamble such a stupid thing and more we are not going to have any fun with such crowded place.

Lmao I felt the same way. It's probably either because of their ignorance or might be that the picture was taken lots of days ago when online gambling didn't exist or their government has blocked gambling sites or internet altogether. Or they are just extreme extroverts who think they can draw luck from people around lmao.

Well, many people like crowd just like some of us are comfortable with less crowds. It is more like a social gathering and could be beneficial to people.
Besides, young people are more familiar with online gambling than the old. I won't be surprised if they prefer the physical casinos to the online ones for social reasons,  they don't like online casinos or are not familiar with them.
4516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 29, 2019, 07:11:50 AM
Is there anyone here who tried to experiment in online gambling sites with a pen and paper?

Here's the idea, to determine the percentage of winning, I always think of doing an experiment where I would bet in an online gambling site then each bet will be written to the paper. A total of 10 bets per day in a 1-week duration and each bet will be written and will be recorded depending if the bet is winning or losing. Then conduct an analysis of the percentage of winnings to determine if there are some tricks we could find with these experiments in different gambling sites.

If there is someone who already does this, could you please share the outcome? At what Bet you usually win? and what platform could that technique be applicable?

it is pointless(at least for me) to determine the percentage of your winning in gambling. I know that some people get some satisfaction knowing that they have more wins than
losses but even if the percentage of your winning is positive doesn't mean that your profit is also positive. and also, I'd rather know the percentage of my profit than knowing
the percentage of winnings.

Aren't you suppose to analyze before you place a bet? Check the team, check the odds, place a bet. I also think it would be pointless to write the results and analyze them later on. The circumstances changes from game to game and your strategy will keep on changing too.

only if the OP is specifically talking about sports betting but he is probably not.

You made an Interesting point... I guess that is what Op want to know. He probably wants to know if all his in one-week total bets is profitable in the end.
Like you said, he should be looking at profitability rather winning?  If his total win is 60%, it doesn't guarantee profit, I guess?
4517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 28, 2019, 04:26:08 PM
It is impossible to prove that somebody is Satoshi.

I firmly believe that even if real satoshi turned up one day, people will also declare him Faketoshi.
This is so true.

Even if Satoshi presents his privatekeys, signs messages, shows his passwords, e-mail account accesses... it could be someone else who has all these privatekeys, passwords, accesses now.
He would only prove the ownership of these but it is impossible for somebody to prove that he is Satoshi.

It would have be possible if he embedded few things in the first blocks that are unique to him, like DNA, finger prints, body marks, eye color and even hidden signatures  with information on who owns them . The good thing about embedded data like that is that they can't be changed (immutablity)
4518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CONSISTENCY PAYS on: November 28, 2019, 03:18:38 PM
No doubt the altcoin market has been a troubled one for the most part. Many have been burnt and more are still been burnt, in spite of all these, something good can still be made from this current market, it doesn't have to be thousands of dollars. I believe picking some good coins and consistently trading them can at least guarantee some returns.  For example: Energi, IDEX token and some others have been a good trade. We need not trade all the market, we may choose to pick just 3 coins and trade the market respectfully without being greedy.

Having a determined and a consistence winning strategy is important to making a profit in a troubled market.
I will love to hear the strategy you have been using to make money in this current market.

Well, it's better to just stick to coins that really work and solve most of your problems ... Use and trade them.
I really don't trade coins that are only useful for cryptocurrency trading. I should be able to buy alots products and services with the coin. And I would prefer to use it mostly peer-to-peer and decentrally otherwise it's not good enough cryptocoins and not worth my investment.

4519  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: November 28, 2019, 02:33:06 PM
It's funny how governments want to fight tax evasion by declaring strings of letters illegal. What if people decide to start sending only numbers and letters to one another without wallets or similar platforms while having copies of very simple and lightweight ledger of their transactions?

Well, I think tax is very important if you use government stuff. Otherwise you don't need to pay anything. The best way to avoid governments stuff is to use nature or go natural. The only tax we pay the CREATOR or OWNER of our world & nature is good behavior. Good behavior includes taking care of HIS creations.

4520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Thinking of Bitcoin Blockchain Accessible Without Internet on: November 28, 2019, 12:44:14 PM
There are already people transmitting Bitcoin over radio waves - https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoiners-finland-send-cryptocurrency-radio and other

people put Bitcoin in space, https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-in-space-blockchain-satellite-receives-first-transaction ( Blockstream’s

Blockchain Satellite ) - You do not just need Internet access to transfer bitcoins, but it is so much easier. Another thing people do not think
aboutis the physical transfer of a Paper wallet from one person to the next, but that would be too risky for large amounts and you are restricted to

physical access to the other person to do this.

Tongue

We could do that with birds and other means.

Two locations (locations the birds can't do without) between the sends and receivers could be build for the messenger birds in different towns, cities, countries etc. The locations need to have proper shelters and food for the birds.

The birds would need to be well trained.
