4501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2022, 06:21:16 AM
It appears everyone is very busy arguing about Kambosos versus Haney and Inoue versus Donaire hehehe. We forgot that this weekend Stephen Fulton will also be fighting Danny Roman. It might not appear to be an important fight, we know Fulton's victory is a certainty, however, every boxing fan should watch it because if Inoue wins, he might move up to super bantamweight and challenge Fulton for the WBC and WBO super bantamweight championships.

Yes, saw that scheduled fight but the odds though. Nevertheless, I don't think that Inoue will go up in weight. Too early for him, and knowing that he is under Bob Arum, I doubt that he will allow his cash cow to immediately jump on the next weight unless he is very sure that he can take Fulton out or any of the champion in that division. So let Fulton battered Roman this weekend, and his chance to win are high because obviously he is the favorite.

It does not look too early for the Monster Inoue to move up in weight division and challenge Fulton after what we witnessed versus Donaire yesterday. It also certainly appears that Inuoe has improved since their first fight and will improve more. He is also 29 years old already. That is not very young for the sport of boxing. It is the right time for him to find new challenges in his career.

He still has one Filipino on his hit list and that is Casimero, hehehe. This could be a good fight in paper as he is brandish and trash talk Inoue prior. But not sure if Top Rank is willing to give Casimero his fight since he no longer has any belt for now.

I move up to fight Fulton is not that bad at all, as you have said, timing is just about right. If Inoue wanted to be recognized as one of the best in this generation then he should look for new challenge and that is going up in weight. Pacquiao proved that already and he sets the bar high that no one can touch what he reach. But others can try to go as high and see their limits. Like in the case of Canelo 175 lbs might be too much for him. But for Inoue, we don't know how far can he go.

However, before Inoue can consider Casimero's challenge, I reckon Casimero should first win his WBO bantamweight championship back by challenging Paul Butler. Inoue might be now on a different stage in his career where his next fight will be to challenge the champions of the super bantamweight division or become the undisputed champion in bantamweight.

Also, with what Inoue has shown, I speculate he can knockout Casimero within 6.5 rounds. Inoue might become the pound for pound best boxer within 3 years.

Yeah, before I forgot, Casimero and Butler is under one promotional banner, Probellum. So maybe John Riel might be given the first option to crack Butler, after all they've schedule to fight but we all know what happens to Casimero in the last minute.

So in that scenario, Casimero vs Butler, winner gets Inoue for unification.

And I do agree, that Inoue is too good for this division and Casimero might not last 6 rounds against the Monster. But let's see what the future brings for Casimero first. He need to build his name again in the division.

I reckon he should be the first one to be given an opportunity as the challenger. This is because it is his own belt hehehe. He never lost it versus anyone. Casimero's management should fight for their client's right as the no.1 WBO bantamweight contender considering that it appears that Butler has already shown his interest on Inoue for a unification. For boxing fans it might be a better storyline if a Filipino challenges Inoue as the avenger of his fellow Filipino hehehe.

Yes, hopefully and again this is a good fight to begin with. There is already a story line behind, as they supposed to face each other and they have been trash talking as well prior to Casimero not making it and been stripped. And money wise, it will be in house fight.

I'm sure Bob Arum and Inoue can wait and see who the winner is. And then fight him next year before he can move up in weight if he decided too.

Honestly I'm more interested if Bivol will fight against Beterbiev in the future since whoever will win become an undisputed champion.

I am also interested now, before Canelo challenge name, I have no idea about the champions on the division of Bivol but after the fight, I realize that there are plenty of exciting fighters in a higher division, I just got so hype with Canelo and now I'm hype again with the Canelo vs GGG trilogy.

Beterviev and Bivol though are dominating the light heavyweight for the last 2-3 years. So I agree that they should also face each other for unification. I think Canelo chooses what he thinks is the less riskier, but Bivol is very good and I think it will be a close fight between Arthur and him.

Horford, White, Brown, Tatum, and Smart, halos lahat sila kayang mag double digit.

4503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 12, 2022, 11:16:23 PM
$20k here we go, I'm not surprised if Bitcoin will reach at that level again, I mean a bear market is also unpredictable like bitcoin when it's bullish, so we have to accept if it will reach $20k or even fall because it will always recover like it did many times.

Some people may panic, but some will take this as an opportunity.
Everyone who look for an opportunity to invest in BTCitcoin would always want to see the price to fall to those levels and there is nothing to be surprised as we have seen that multiple times in the past and still some are surprised that the correction means that the market will not rally again Grin.

Welcome to the bear market, the tough times for those who don't trust bitcoin.
New investors who are yet to book their profit might stay away from the market for a long time and that is the best solution right now and then enter once the market recovers again after the next halving. Patience is everything in a market.
Some say that it's a great opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin, however, due to the economic recession we're going through now, small investors are incapable of resorting to large investment. I'm also a strong supporter of Bitcoin and actually believe that eventually, it'll recover, but I barely make ends meet with my salary, thus, I'd rather not take such a risk.

Bitcoin is currently trending at almost $28.000, showing small signs of recovery since the afternoon and Ethereum at $1.500.

As of the current price, is way below $28k, trading at at price of $27,350 and still going down. But this is the start of the week for Asian market, so maybe we will see some recovery here in there. For all investors, may it is DCA method that can really help them accumulate overtime. And as long as you look at your goal long term, no doubt that you can accomplished it very slowly. We just have to understand the game and how are we going to stretch our financial capability so that we can still invest right now.

Selling pressures again, and yes, we are getting closer to $25k, but I guess we can't stop it from happening. Not sure if the opening of the Asian market can salvage what is going on right now. I'm thinking that this is another red candle for us, perhaps at the end of the week, around $25k-$26k.

Of course, another perfect time to buy, but it's going to be a long hold for us. And in the next half of the year, there could be another golden opportunity when we reach like a capitulation price of $20ki'ish.

Not much is heard about this fight,

Munguia vs Kelly

If you not familiar with Munguia, this kid is one of the future of Mexican boxing,

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659924

He is supposed to fight and take a shot at at WBC middleweight titlist Jermall Charlo, but the negotiations fall apart as what network is going to cover the match.

Now is is fighting Kelly at a catchweight of 165 lbs and this is the heaviest that he has been in his career. And as per sport bookies he is like 1.02-1.03 odds favorites. Maybe this is just one of those get busy fight for him and testing if he can go as high as 168 lbs in the future.

I have seen a lot of Munguia's fights and he is very ripe for a championship fight, he is very popular in Mexico and he has the making of a superstar and FYI he is being managed by hall of Famer Eric Morales, its unfortunate that the fight against Charlo did not push through, I'm sure Munguia will get a knock out against Kelly I like his style he is a combination of power and grace inside the ring, he loves to go to the body and his left hook is his best weapon.

I heard a lot of good  things from this kid, but I didn't know that he is being managed by El Terrible Morales. So that is good though, high KO percentage no wonder why they don't want to messed with him. Probably following the footsteps of Canelo but he need to step up and get good competition in his name. Yes, As I have said, chances are with the KO percentage, most likely Kelly will not last the full 12 rounds and could get knock out. So let's see if he can bring that power at 168 lbs as there are a lot of competition in that weight category.

Fight hightlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U51QNdJHIZE

It took Munguia 5 rounds to figure out and deliver that knock out punch and shows his power. Knock him down 3x. Respect for Kelly though, he was boxing perfectly until he was caught and it was over for him. The power of Munguia is in full display in this fight, upper cuts, left hooks. He will could a serious threat to Charlo at 160 lbs. And hopefully they can sit down and make the fight happen next year.
4505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 12, 2022, 10:07:37 PM
I already bet in this game 5 as early as yesterday, hehehe -3.5. It's their home although the Celtics took game 1, GSW was able to bounce back in game 2 and won double digits. So I would not be surprised if another double digit win by the Warriors this game. And I'm expecting that someone like Klay Thompson or Jordan Poole will help a lot of the offensive load and take the burden from Curry's shoulder. I might put a players pop for Klay to score more.
4506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 12, 2022, 09:35:13 PM
Yes, Thompson may have a little contribution compared to the past NBA Finals, but man, we have to understand, he came from a major injury and when the returned, Warriors are back to the NBA Finals, isn't it a big improvement already? And also, let's not forget that Thompson had some huge games in the past rounds, maybe he is not that too consistent but he is very useful to the team.
It's not just that. They forgot how good he is at the defensive end. We don't see him being a trend unlike Wiggins, Poole, and Steph but he was there defending offensive guys like Brown or Tatum if a switch happens.
If we talk about the defensive chemistry he is always there to back up Steph if ever he needs help as he was always the one being chosen for a Celtics attack. It's not really their offense that made them champions, it had always been how good they are on defense.

Yeah, another he was not known to be a defensive player for some fans, but those who have followed Klay, he played good defense, so I don't know why is he being criticized in this series when he has like double figures and then playing defense too. But the scary part is that Klay can have that kind of game like Curry did, he can erupt with 30 or 40 points in a game this series, and if that happens, then he will silence his critics. All the momentum is how shifted to the Warriors in game 5.
4507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BRYAN VS DUBOIS : 12 Rounds For The WBA World Heavyweight Championship June 11 on: June 12, 2022, 09:14:57 PM
Wow, have you seen the video of their face-off where Bryan is disrespecting Dubois by showing him tampoons and throwing the tampons on Dubois's feet while dancing suggesting that Dubois is a soft guy, Bryan is going to get a lot of punishment from Dubois, I'm sure of that, he doesn't take Dubois seriously and this is one big mistake.

And just like that, Dubois blasted Bryan with a left hook and it's night-night for the big fella, LOL.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBy_f0KBqtI

And now he is the WBA champion and it was mentioned that he will be the mandatory for the winner of Usyk vs Joshua later. Not sure though if Dubois will have a chance against either of the two. But a win is a win, with a brutal knock out.

Brutal knockout indeed but I'm not so confident that he could give a competitive fight to either Joshua or Usyk as I found him too slow but i could be wrong as style makes fight so let's see if that championship fight will be scheduled.

I have not bet on this fight because the odds are one-sided and TBH I have not seen Dubios fought but from now on, i will be watching this guy and see if he can hold on to that belt for a long time.

Yes, it was expected the Dubois will get a knock out victory here, the line was like over/under 3.5 rounds, ML ofr Dubois is like 1.0x or something, not a good bet for us. Grin. Dubois doesn't have a good chin so if ever either Usyk or AJ landed a big shot, chances are he will go down specially Joshua's straight.

But let's see who's going to win in the rematch between Usyk vs AJ. This could be another good pay day for Dubois but I don't think that he can beat them.
4508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 11, 2022, 11:43:37 PM
Is anyone following Snow Badua on facebook? That's where I'm getting some information about updates in the league and as well as the other basketball leagues where other pinoys are being taken and playing. He said that there's a team that's likely to hire a European coach, I don't know if this is particular with PBA but it seems like that. I guess if this happens and for real, this is going to step up the coaching style in the league and will also improve the players that coach will work for.

Definitely, having a European coach in the league will be a big boost as far as playing style is concern. For sure the coach will infuse European style of play, it might not be that physical, but probably more dribble penetrating and more outside shooting. And then they are more on the fundamentals, specially playing defense.

I remember one youtuber asking the question, if Gilas Pilipinas should adopt European style of play? Soon we will find out if we can play those kind of basketball specially outside competition.
4509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 11, 2022, 11:16:41 PM
Bitcoin will go to the moon first while altcoins are going to follow next.
Do choose Bitcoin more and look for some potential coins or/ you can check the CMC to further know the top listed coins as they are very certain of such explode.

I'm not going to give you 100% assurance OP but buying potential coins will possibly double or even triple your money during the bullish season.
In fact, remembering how Bitcoin rallied from $4k to $60k, kinda be encouraging to invest, right? Yet, it just needs patience, somehow.

Bitcoin has been predicted to reach at least 6 digits in the next bull run, although the S2F model is a failure in 2021, but I think it can get to that price, probably x3 from the last bull run, this is just my personal opinion.

Maybe altcoins in the top 5-10 will also explode together with bitcoin, because that has been the case in the last bull run. ETH for example goes down less than $100 in 2018 and then almost $5k. Same case for another solid altcoins as well.

But for us bitcoin enthusiast, no question about it, majority of our portfolio is BTC (at least in my case) because we all know that the next bull run is going to be huge again, so it's better to accumulate at the current price because it's at a discount, (almost -60% from it's previous all tme high.)
4510  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 11, 2022, 10:56:36 PM
what happens is the following: when the price starts to fall a lot, people tend to think that the price will continue to fall and for that reason they will not buy for fear of buying and falling even more, leaving them with losses, but when the price starts to rise, people buy thinking that the price after they buy will continue to rise, this also happens because people are not using technical analysis when buying bitcoin, even if it is to make a long-term investment people don't technical analysis when buying bitcoin that's why they don't know when to buy and when to sell and use stop - loss

Yes, that's what really is happening to all of us, lots of decision to make and we can only make one correct to be able to win in the long run. I guess though if you have experience, you will have to take a risk and not regret your decisions and learn from our past mistakes. So the cycle won't repeat in a bad way. There could be argument that there is no right or wrong move, probably, but what we are looking is to maximized our profits long term. Other doesn't want to complicated things when there are tools like DCA that can help us if we can't make our minds.
4511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 11, 2022, 10:36:12 PM
Some nasty words coming from Ryan:

Quote
“After [Fortuna], I’m gonna go after Tank. I want to beat his ass.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-fortuna-im-gonna-go-tank-i-want-beat-his-ass--166843

He seems to be obsessed with Tank Davis, although he has been calling him even prior to the pandemic and then war of the words wherein we don't know who is telling the truth as far as stalling this fight. Let Ryan first win this fight with a knockout. If this is going to be a snoozer or a 12 round fight, a boring one, probably either Haney or Tank will just roast him in public and criticize his fight.

He's just lucky because Haney, Tank nor Kambosos ain't confronting him because to be honest, Ryan Garcia is still having a hard time paving his own way just because of that mental issue he had. Although, these boxers I've mentioned will not stoop down to Garcia's level because they know they're much better than him and their records can speak for that. Garcia should just focus more on his upcoming fight and make his performance better and refrain from barking because his time will come if he will be great on his future fights.

Yes, he use to malign those, specially Haney, but now Devin is the undisputed, Ryan only dream of that. And then Devin and George will have a rematch. While Tank is just coming from a knock out win against Romero. While Ryan has a so-so performance vs Tagoe and then avoided Isaac Cruz, who Tank defeated in a hard fought 12 rounds. Garcia as others has pointed out, needs to win and win big to become relevant again. GBP is protecting him with those big punchers.

4513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 11, 2022, 09:16:28 AM
Now the series gets better, Curry lead the Warriors for the big win, the series is now even.

Curry had a double double, 43 points and 10 rebounds, enough to beat a strong home team.
As for the betting odds, Warriors are now favored to win the championship.

GSW 1.65 vs Celtics 2.25

Yeah, and the next game will be at Chase so for sure, the odds are going to shift on their favor. I think this is a defining victory for the Warriors with Curry having that big game. I can't recall how many times he score 40+ in the playoffs of if he actually score that much.

So we will see in game 5 now, and if ever the Warriors win the finals, for sure this will be Steph's 1st Finals MVP and them being back at the top of the NBA.

Anyone wanted to see a war? Hiroto Kyoguchi vs. Esteban Bermudez

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqvpBZCOs7Q

Kyoguchi won as he batters Bermudez in Mexico and defends his WBA 'Super' junior flyweight title.

But as you can see, it's clearly biased, the way I look at it. Referee deducting points from the Japanese fighter and it seems the ring physician still allow Bermudez to continue despite that opening from his temple. Nevertheless, Kyoguchi was not deterred and stop Bermudez in round 8.

4515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 11, 2022, 08:14:43 AM
(...)

In the last 2 games, I think the refs are favoring the Celtics, but they cannot do anything on the greatness of Curry because literally Curry carried the Warriors on his back. We can really see how badly Curry want to win the game and they did not fail this time. Now, the series is tied, the advantage is now on the Warriors.
That's right, their next game will be in the GSW home court right? I think they really do have an advantage this time as GSW mostly win in their home court. I also think they will going to end the series as I see that they really doing their best to win. Luckily I woke up in the middle of the game where the Boston Celtics have some scores more than the GSW and place a bet on GSW with a very favorable odds.

It will still be 3-2 if ever the Warriors will win the next game, so it's not yet over. And yes, it will be in their home court the next game, but remember that Boston steal one win here in game 1. So it's not going to be easy for the Warriors but definitely, the crowd will be behind them and there will be no boos for Draymond who is playing bad in this series, but hey he is more of a defensive players, so not expecting him to contribute offensively. So down to best of 3 now, whoever chokes losses this series.
4516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 11, 2022, 07:54:08 AM
And this is what the Warriors is made of, have a championship DNA, knows how to rise. Curry with a huge 43 points, and then Klay and Poole and Wiggins coming to life in the 4th quarter. Note that the Celtics take a 5 point lead with just 5-6 minutes left and the crowd goes crazy. But they made their own run, hitting 3's to silent the crowd. And then forcing Boston to an outside side wherein they missed 2 crucial shots. It was only Horford who breaks the run with the 3 in the corner, with 1:34 if I'm not mistaken but the Warriors had the confidence already. Now they will gain the upper hand in Chase Center next game. And congrats to those who bet on the ML or handicap for the Warriors.

Final weigh-in for this two heavyweights:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dixS4QNBzao

Bryan - 259.6 lbs
Dubois - 241.6 lbs

Bryan the heavier but it's obvious that the weight is around his belly,  Grin. While Dubois is the more fitted fighter, muscular.

Dubois though, still a huge favorite, 1.05 and this could be over in less than 5 rounds. Even the opening for this is over/under at 3.5. Clearly the bookies know that this fight is not going to last. Unfortunately, I have to skip this one though. But for those who are going to bet on this fight, best of luck.
4519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 10, 2022, 10:42:44 PM
My pick for tonight.

Boston Celtics(-3,5) vs Golden State Warriors = Boston Win / 1,85 odds

I think Boston Celtics will win tonight. They have the advantage now because they have the support of the fans and the score could be 3-1 in the series.
if they win, they will most likely become champions.

Not a bad take. Given how the series has gone so far, it seems like the Celtics are on the verge of sealing their fate as champions tonight. I don’t think the Warriors will come back from being down 1-3, so both teams will be giving it their all tonight. I won’t be betting because I think the Warriors will win, but I’m not feeling confident after how the last few games have gone.

I will go with the underdog Warriors +3.5. This might be their final stand in this series. I know that Boston feels so good right now and if it is their fate this year to win the NBA championship then so be it. But I feel that Warriors will try to avoid a 3-1 deficit. The Warriors just need to stay in the game and not let the Celtics have a good commanding lead so that they have a good chance to steal this game and then go back to Chase Center. So very crucial and important for the Warriors and they will have to give everything they got.

I guess every games is really addicted, from slots to baccarat to dice and black jack. Every game has its own way to make people come and want to play more. Specially slots, those operators study the psychology, from the graphics to the sounds, they all put together to make it very attractive hence, addicting.

It just grown on me though, just tired of it when I go to land base or even online base casinos. Although there are a lot of new games, but it's just the same to me. And maybe I just had a lot of up and down, love and hate against slot machines that it is not the first option for me to play now.
